Abstract

The invention relates to an insulating element made of mineral fibers (2), preferably rock wool, provided in the form of a panel or a sheet, comprising two large surfaces (3), which are arranged parallel to one another while being interspaced and are connected to one another via lateral surfaces (4). The invention also relates to a method for producing an insulating element of the aforementioned type.
