Abstract
The invention relates to the production of ethyl esters of fatty acids based on glycerides of fatty acids of various origin.A process for preparation of ethyl esters of fatty acids comprises the re-etherification of triglycerides of various origin with ethanol having water content of 0.3-0.5 % at stoichiometric ratio of ethanol/triglycerides of different origin =1.3-2 at 20-100 °С during 40-160 minutes on alkali catalyst. The catalyst is dissolved in ethanol, ester and glycerol phases are separated by addition of depositing reagent - glycerol in quantity of 3-20 % weight of total mixture.
