The invention relates to the branch of ferrous metallurgy, namely to the method of thixocasting. A method of thixocasting consists in that the melt, which is in precrystallization state above the liquidus line, is processed by a vibration-pulse activator, after that it is maintained in the pressing chamber, crystallized into a casting under effect of pressure. The invention provides for producing the thermally-strengthened nonporous castings with high level of plasticity.
