Abstract
The invention relates to the rolling production, namely, to the designs of block type stands and can be used on continuous section mills, for example, at completion of the process of the multipass rolling-separation. A block of stands of section-rolling mill contains a mill stand with horizontally located driving rolls located in the bed of roll stand. It also contains a working stand with nondrive rolls installed on fender bar of the bed of roll stand with driving rolls from the exit side. In accordance with the invention, the block contains an additional roll stand with nondrive rolls installed downstream of the main stand with nondrive rolls. Moreover main stand is made with vertical arrangement of nondrive rolls, and additional stand - with horizontal arrangement of nondrive rolls. In the case the distance between the planes of the axes of driving working rolls and nondrive working rolls of basic and additional stands of block makes 0.4-0.5 and 0.9-1.1 of the diameter of the rolls of driving stand of block respectively. The diameters of nondrive rolls of main and additional stand make 0.40-0.45 and 0.15-0.20 of the diameter of driving working rolls of block respectively. The invention provides for increase of the accuracy of rolling, increase of the efficiency of production of rolled bar stock, increase of the output of suitable rolled metal due to stabilization of the process of rolling and decrease of power consumption by implementation of the process of multipass of rolling-separation on continuous section-rolling mill.
