Abstract

A steel for carriage engineering contains carbon, silicon, manganese, titanium, aluminium, iron and calcium in the following ratio of components, w/w: С – 0.15-0.25, Si – 0.20-0.95, Mn – 1.00-1.85, N – 0.008-0.03, Ti – 0.006-0.10, Al – 0.015-0.10, Са – 0.0001-0.1 and Fe – other. The invention allows obtaining steel for carriage engineering with improved plastic properties and impact strength.
