Abstract

A diesel double-pulse pneumatic variable-speed governor comprises an inlet branch with diffuser, throttle gate and connecting tube, a fuel pump rack, depression meter made as spring-loaded basic diaphragm and connected to connecting tube and fuel pump rack, mechanisms for velocity mode control and diesel stopping connected to the throttle gate and fuel pump rack. An additional diaphragm is mounted, this is hermetically connected to the governor body in a circumferential direction and forms with the body and basic diaphragm a main and additional chambers. The main chamber is connected to the connecting tube directly and to the additional chamber through at least one additional throttle. A differentiator, made as diaphragm with a tension member and body, with radial openings arranged with interval of 120° at the periphery is additionally arranged in the main chamber. The differentiator cavity is connected to the atmosphere through radial openings, and the tension member of differentiator is connected to the additional diaphragm, and the body is connected through the spring to the basic diaphragm connected to the fuel pump rack.
