Abstract

The proposed method for weighing powder material supplied from a hopper to a pneumatic pipeline by compressed gas is distinctive by that the nozzle for supplying compressed gas moves in the direction that is opposite to the gas flow with a velocity that is set according to the required gas flow rate. The proposed device for the realization of the method contains a cylindrical hopper, a nozzle for supplying compressed gas, and an outlet connection. The nozzle is installed at the upper part of the hopper so that that the nozzle can move along the longitudinal axis of the hopper. The nozzle opening provides gas flow with a taper angle of 60 ... 120 degrees. The proposed invention provides a possibility to increase weighing accuracy.
