Abstract
The invention relates to the heterocyclic compounds, in particular 4-methyl-5-nitro-9-phenoxyacridine (1a) and 4-methyl-5-nitro-9-(m-tolyl or p-tolyl(-aminoacridine (1b – 1c). These substances possess antibacterial and bile-expelling activity. The aim is to reveal the compounds of this group with above-mentioned activity. 4-methyl-5-nitro-9-chloroacridine, phenol and m- or p-toluidin, respectively are employed as the reagents for the synthesis. The following data for the compounds are presented: The yield, %; melting point °С; gross formula. Compound 1а: 88; 204 - 205°С; C20H14N2О3. Compound 1b: 94; 184 - 187; С21Н17N3О2. Compound 1c: 89; 201 - 203; С21Н17N3O2. The compounds 1a-1c possess antibacterial and high bile-expelling activity.
