Abstract

This invention relates to methods of repair of pipeline transport under pressure that is to be repaired to restore its bearing capacity without interruption of the product transportation. A method of a muff installation to a defect part of a pipelineincludes installation of a split muff to technological elements, with cleaning the part before the muff installation, application of sealing layer to the clean part; at that technological elements are made of wire winded on the pipe, not less than 4 turns; the turns are connected to each other by welded fixation. The wire is fired before being winded on the pipe. The sealing agent is fed between the muff and the pipe. Width of technological elements made of wire being winded on the pipe is to be not less than 20 mm. Diameter of the wire is chosen depending on the viscosity of the sealing agent composition.
