Fireproof wallpaper structure

This work is about a wallpaper structure, particularly a fireproof wallpaper structure.

After the basic structure of modern buildings is completed, interior decoration is often used to further create functional and aesthetic spaces. To reduce the threat of fire to personal and property safety, most countries have established fire regulations that test and classify the flammability of building decoration materials.

Under the current testing system, common classifications include flameproof, flame-resistant, and fireproof grades, with distinctions made depending on the type of decorative material. "Flameproof" refers to thin decorative materials or decorative products that are designed to prevent ignition or rapid spread of fire from small fire sources, such as wallpaper. "Flame-resistant" refers to materials that are less likely to ignite and spread in the early stages of a fire and at high temperatures, and that generate limited heat, smoke, and toxic gases. This standard is often applied to thicker panels such as wood. "Fireproof" refers to materials that can effectively slow the spread of fire or maintain structural integrity for a certain period of time in the event of a fire. This standard is often applied to structures such as partition walls.

Regarding wallpaper materials, wallpaper manufacturers have long focused on printing various patterns and colors onto the paper surface for consumer selection. However, with quantity over quality, most wallpaper materials are simply paper, which raises the issue of fire resistance. Once a fire breaks out, wallpaper materials can become highly flammable, fueling the flames and becoming the first and most flammable decorative material to catch fire. Therefore, there is a need to further enhance the fire resistance of wallpaper materials.

Therefore, how to develop a wallpaper structure with fire-resistant function is an important issue.

To address the aforementioned issues, this invention aims to provide a fire-resistant wallpaper structure comprising a base layer, a surface layer, and a second adhesive layer. The base layer comprises a plurality of first paper materials, each of which is soaked in a fire retardant, fully absorbed, and then dried; and at least one first adhesive layer positioned between the dried first paper materials to bond them together. After the first adhesive layer is bonded to the first paper materials and then dried again, the base layer is formed. The surface paper layer comprises: a second paper material, which is soaked in the fire retardant, fully absorbed, dried, and flattened; an ink layer, applied to the dried and flattened surface of the second paper material to form a pattern and then dried; and a fire retardant layer, applied to the surface of the ink layer. A second adhesive layer is provided between the base material layer and the surface paper layer to bond the base material layer to the second paper material of the surface paper layer, thereby forming the fire retardant wallpaper structure.

In one embodiment, the first paper material is white kraft paper with a weight of 150 g/m ² .

In one embodiment, the second paper material is single-sided smooth white kraft paper with a weight of 70 g/m ² .

In one embodiment, the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are fire-resistant adhesives.

In one embodiment, the ink layer is a fire-resistant water-based ink.

In one embodiment, the fireproof layer is a water-based fireproof paint.

In one embodiment, the fireproof adhesive is an environmentally friendly silicone fireproof adhesive.

This fireproof wallpaper features a composite, stacked structure, with a base layer, a surface layer, and an adhesive layer bonded together to form a complete fireproof wallpaper structure. This achieves high tensile strength, flexibility, and fire resistance, while also being dust-resistant, highly water-repellent, and antibacterial.

The following describes an embodiment of the present invention based on Figures 1 and 2. This description is not intended to limit the embodiments of the present invention, but rather is one example of an embodiment of the present invention. In the drawings and embodiments, identical or similar reference numerals throughout the figures refer to identical, substantially identical, or functionally identical components and elements. The drawings are simplified and, in all embodiments, are not drawn to exact scale.

Please refer to Figure 1, which is a cross-sectional view of the fireproof wallpaper structure of this invention and a schematic diagram of the various layers. The fireproof wallpaper structure 100 of this invention includes: a base layer 110, a surface paper layer 120, and a second adhesive layer 130.

The substrate layer 110 comprises: a plurality of first paper materials 111, each of which is soaked in a fire retardant, fully absorbed, and then dried; and at least one first adhesive layer 112, disposed between the dried first paper materials 111 to bond them together. After the first adhesive layer 112 is bonded to the first paper materials 111 and then dried again, the substrate layer 110 is formed. In one embodiment, the first paper material 111 is white kraft paper with a weight of 150 g/ ^m² .

The surface paper layer 120 comprises: a second paper material 121, which is soaked in the fire retardant, fully absorbed, dried, and flattened; an ink layer 122, applied to the dried and flattened surface of the second paper material 121 to form a pattern and then dried; and a fire retardant layer 123, applied to the surface of the ink layer 122, thus constituting the surface paper layer 120. In one embodiment, the second paper material 121 is single-sided smooth white kraft paper weighing 70 g/ ^m² . In one embodiment, the ink layer 122 is a fire retardant water-based ink. In another embodiment, the fire retardant layer 123 is a water-based fire retardant paint.

The second adhesive layer 130 is disposed between the base layer 110 and the surface paper layer 120 to bond the base layer 110 to the second paper material 121 of the surface paper layer 120 , thereby forming the fireproof wallpaper structure 100 .

In one embodiment, the first adhesive layer 112 and the second adhesive layer 130 are made of adhesive materials, such as hot melt adhesive, polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), fireproof adhesive, etc. Preferably, the fireproof adhesive is an environmentally friendly silicone fireproof adhesive.

Please refer to Figure 2, which is a schematic diagram of the use of this invention's fireproof wallpaper structure. In this embodiment, this invention's fireproof wallpaper structure 100 is directly attached to the surface of a wooden product 200, thereby enhancing its fireproof, damage-resistant, highly ductile, highly flexible, and environmentally friendly properties.

Claims (7)

A fireproof wallpaper structure comprises: a base layer comprising: a plurality of first paper materials, each of which is soaked in a fireproof agent and dried after being fully absorbed; and at least one first adhesive layer, which is arranged between the dried first paper materials for bonding; wherein, after the first adhesive layer is bonded to the first paper materials and then dried again, the base layer is formed; a surface paper layer comprising: a second paper The fireproof wallpaper structure comprises a base material, a second paper material soaked in the fireproof agent, dried and flattened after being fully absorbed; an ink layer is provided on the surface of the second paper material after being dried and flattened to form a pattern, and is then dried; a fireproof layer is provided on the surface of the ink layer; and a second adhesive layer is provided between the base material layer and the surface paper layer to bond the base material layer to the second paper material of the surface paper layer, thereby forming the fireproof wallpaper structure. The fireproof wallpaper structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first paper material is white kraft paper with a weight of 150 g/m ² . The fireproof wallpaper structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second paper material is single-sided smooth white kraft paper with a weight of 70 g/m ² . The fireproof wallpaper structure as described in claim 1, wherein the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are fireproof adhesives. The fireproof wallpaper structure as described in claim 1, wherein the ink layer is a fireproof water-based ink. The fireproof wallpaper structure as described in claim 1, wherein the fireproof layer is a water-based fireproof paint. The fireproof wallpaper structure as described in claim 4, wherein the fireproof adhesive is an environmentally friendly silicone fireproof adhesive.
