Abstract

The new model is a transparent glove puppet, comprising a puppet body, a puppet head and two puppet hands. The puppet body is a set body made of transparent material. The operation opening of the puppet body is located at the bottom of the puppet body and is connected to the inside of the puppet body. The puppet head is combined with the center of the top of the puppet body and is concavely provided with a groove. The inside of the groove is connected to the inside of the puppet body. The two puppet hands are respectively arranged on both sides of the top of the puppet body. Through the puppet body made of transparent material, when the puppeteer manipulates the new transparent glove puppet to show flexible movements, the audience can intuitively see the puppeteer's hand movements, which not only makes the glove puppet show closer to the public, but also helps the puppeteer to teach and pass on the culture of glove puppet show.

Description

Transparent Puppet

The invention relates to glove puppetry, in particular to a transparent glove puppetry.

Puppetry is a form of drama with a long history and rich artistic value. During the performance, the puppeteer puts his hands into the puppet's costume and uses his fingers to manipulate the puppet to perform various movements.

However, in today's diversified entertainment and leisure activities, the audience of puppetry is gradually lost. In addition, since the costumes of puppets are usually colorful or have various patterns, when teaching, they can only be explained with words or hand movements. It is difficult to present the operation details with the puppets, resulting in difficulty in training puppeteers. When watching, the audience will not pay attention to the hand movements of the puppeteers, resulting in considerable challenges to the development and inheritance of puppetry. In view of this, the applicant has come up with this new invention to solve this problem.

In order to solve the above problems, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a transparent puppet show puppet which can show hand movements when the puppeteer manipulates the puppet so that the audience or learners can understand the manipulation details more intuitively.

The transparent glove puppet proposed by the new type of solution to the technical problem comprises: A puppet body, which is a set of bodies made of transparent material and has a top and a bottom opposite to each other, and an operation opening, which is located at the bottom of the puppet body and connected to the inside of the puppet body; A puppet head, which is combined with the center of the top of the puppet body and is concavely provided with a groove, the inside of the groove is connected to the inside of the puppet body; and Two puppet hands, which are respectively arranged on both sides of the top of the puppet body, so as to be separated from the puppet head.

The improved effect achieved by the technical means of the present invention is that the transparent glove puppet of the present invention has a body made of transparent material, so that when the audience watches the puppeteer display the flexible movements of the puppet, they can more intuitively see the details of the puppeteer's hand movements, which is not only closer to the public, but also conducive to the puppeteer's teaching and inheriting the glove puppet culture.

In order to understand the technical features and practical effects of the new invention in detail and to implement the new invention according to the content, a preferred embodiment as shown in the figure is further described in detail as follows:

As shown in FIG. 1 , a preferred embodiment of the transparent glove puppet of the present invention comprises a puppet body 10 , a puppet head 20 and two puppet hands 31 . The puppet body 10 is the main body of the transparent glove puppet, and the puppet head 20 and the two puppet hands 31 are disposed on the puppet body 10 .

The puppet body 10 is a soft shell made of a transparent material, so that a space is formed inside the puppet body 10. As shown in FIG. 1, the puppet body 10 has a top end 101 and a bottom end 102 opposite to each other, and an operation opening 11. The operation opening 11 is connected to the interior of the puppet body 10, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3. Thus, the operator can extend the hand 90 from the operation opening 11 into the interior of the puppet body 10 to manipulate the transparent glove puppet.

Specifically, the transparent material for making the puppet body 10 can be a soft transparent plastic, such as polyethylene (PE); as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , through the puppet body 10 made of transparent material, when the operator inserts the hand 90 into the interior of the puppet body 10 through the operation opening 11, others can observe the operator's hand 90 through the transparent puppet body 10.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the puppet head 20 is combined with the center of the top end 101 of the puppet body 10 , and a groove 21 is formed inside the puppet head 20 , and the groove 21 is connected to the operating space of the puppet body 10 . After the operator's hand 90 is inserted into the interior of the puppet body 10 , the operator can further insert the finger 91 into the groove 21 of the puppet head 20 to manipulate the puppet head 20 .

Specifically, the bottom of the puppet head 20 is formed with an extension portion 22 extending downward, and the extension portion 22 extends into the interior of the puppet body from an opening in the center of the top end 101 of the puppet body 10, and the extension portion 22 and the puppet body 10 can be fixed by bonding or other bonding methods. The groove 21 is formed upward from the bottom end of the extension portion 22, so that the operator's finger 91 can be inserted into the groove 21.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the two puppet hands 31 are respectively combined with the left and right sides of the top of the puppet body 10. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the two puppet hands 31 are components with the shape of hands, and in other embodiments, according to the role of the puppet, the puppet hands 31 may further include weapons, fans or other accessories; wherein, the two puppet hands 31 may be combined with the puppet body 10 by gluing or other fixing methods, the two puppet hands 31 protrude from the left and right sides of the puppet body 10, and may be plastic or wooden components.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , further, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the transparent glove puppet further comprises two puppet feet 32, which are combined with the inner surface of the puppet body 10 and are located inside the puppet body 10. As shown in FIG. 1 , a person can observe the two puppet feet 32 through the puppet body 10 made of transparent material. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , when the operator's hand 90 is inserted into the inside of the puppet body 10, the puppet body 10 is pushed open so that the two puppet feet 32 can protrude from the operating opening 11 outside the puppet body 10.

Among them, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the puppet legs 32 are made of woven fabric, and only the top ends of the puppet legs 32 are combined with the inner surface of the puppet body 10, so that when the operator's hands 90 make different gestures inside the puppet body 10, the two puppet hands 31 can move with the left and right sides of the puppet body 10, and the two puppet legs 32 can swing relative to the puppet body 10.

In other embodiments, corresponding to different forms of glove puppets, the two puppet feet 32 may also be combined with the outer surface of the puppet body 10, or directly combined with the bottom of the puppet body 10, or in some types of glove puppets, the two puppet feet 32 may be directly omitted. The arrangement of the puppet feet 32 is not limited to the preferred embodiment of the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , when the transparent puppet puppet of the present invention is operated, the operator extends the hand 90 into the interior of the puppet body 10 and operates different parts with different fingers 91. Specifically, the puppet head 20 of the transparent puppet puppet can be operated with the index finger, and the left and right sides of the puppet body 10 can be operated with the thumb and the middle finger to make the two puppet hands 31 move. For example, as shown in FIG. 4 , when the middle finger is bent forward, the puppet hand 31 as the right hand will show a forward waving movement, and others can observe the movement of the operator's hand 90 and fingers 91 through the transparent puppet body 10.

As shown in FIG. 5 , after use, the transparent glove puppet can be placed on a display stand 80. Specifically, the display stand 80 is provided with a base 81, a column 82 and a supporting rope 83. The column 82 is vertically extended from the base 81 and can be placed by inserting the top of the column 82 into the groove 21 of the puppet head 20. The supporting rope 83 is arranged around the column 82, and the two ends of the supporting rope 83 extend to the two puppet hands 31 respectively. The supporting rope 83 has a certain rigidity and can support and prop up the puppet body 10 to prevent the puppet body 10 from bending downward due to the weight of the two puppet hands 31.

The transparent puppet of the novel type is made of transparent material. When the audience watches the puppeteer operate the transparent puppet and display flexible movements, they can also more intuitively see the details of the puppeteer's hand movements, making the puppet show closer to the public. At the same time, the puppeteer can also use the transparent puppet to better teach, which not only enhances the value of the puppet show culture, but also helps to promote the puppet show, so that more people pay attention to the development of the puppet show, and this unique culture can continue to be passed on in Taiwan.

Furthermore, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the puppet head 20 is a hollow structure made by 3D printing. Through 3D printing, the puppet head 20 of various shapes can be manufactured, and the groove 21 and the extension 22 can be directly formed without cutting or drilling. The manufacturing is easier than the previous method of carving wood.

Preferably, the puppet head 20 is made of a translucent material. Specifically, the puppet head 20 can be made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPE) mixed with other materials by 3D printing, so as to have a translucent property. When the puppeteer manipulates the transparent puppet to perform various actions, the puppeteer can simultaneously observe how the puppeteer manipulates the two puppet hands 31, the two puppet feet 32 and the puppet head 20, and can more comprehensively observe the details of the operation.

Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the transparent glove puppet further includes a plurality of protective strips 50 , which are respectively combined with and covered on both sides of the puppet body 10 and the edge of the operating opening 11 , thereby preventing the left and right sides of the puppet body 10 and the edge of the operating opening 11 from piercing the operator, thereby improving the safety of operation.

Specifically, when making the doll body 10, first fold a soft sheet. After folding, the two sides and the bottom of the soft sheet are in an open state. The folded edge of the soft sheet is at the top and forms the top 101 of the doll body 10. Then, the two sides of the soft sheet are divided into two. The protective strips 50 are wrapped, and the two protective strips 50 and the soft sheet are sewn together through a suture 51 to seal both sides of the soft sheet to complete the production; in other embodiments, the protective strips 50 can also be bonded or other combined methods, and are not limited to sewing.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 4 , the bottom of the puppet body 10 is formed with two spaced lower swing portions 12, and the operation opening 11 is formed between the two lower swing portions 12. The two lower swing portions 12 can be opened or aligned in opposite directions by external force. Through the design of the two lower swing portions 12, a part of the two sides of the puppet body 10 can be left unsealed and open, thereby providing additional space when the operator's hand 90 is inserted from the operation opening 11, and the hand is less likely to be stuck in the operation opening 11.

Specifically, the aforementioned seam 51 extends from the top of the soft sheet to between the top and the bottom of the soft sheet, sewing a portion of both sides of the soft sheet together with the two protective strips 50 to seal it, and below the seam 51, the two protective strips 50 are separately sewn with the soft sheet, thereby, the doll body 10 can form the two lower swing parts 12, so that a portion of both sides of the doll body 10 remains open.

Claims (6)

A transparent glove puppet comprises: a puppet body, which is a set of bodies made of transparent material and has a top and a bottom opposite to each other, and an operation opening, which is located at the bottom of the puppet body and connected to the inside of the puppet body; a puppet head, which is combined with the center of the top of the puppet body and is concavely provided with a groove, the inside of the groove is connected to the inside of the puppet body; and two puppet hands, which are respectively arranged on both sides of the top of the puppet body, so as to be separated from the puppet head. A transparent glove puppet as described in claim 1, wherein the puppet head is a structure made by 3D printing. The transparent glove puppet as described in claim 2, wherein the puppet head is a structure made of a translucent material. The transparent glove puppet as described in claim 1, wherein the puppet head is a structure made of a translucent material. The transparent glove puppet as described in any one of claims 1 to 4 comprises a plurality of protective strips, which are respectively combined with and wrapped around the two sides of the puppet body and the edge of the operating opening. A transparent glove puppet as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the bottom of the puppet body is formed with two spaced lower swing parts, the operating opening is formed between the two lower swing parts, and the two lower swing parts can be opened or aligned in opposite directions under external force.
