Abstract

A food container includes a bottle body structure and a bottle cover. The bottle body structure extends along a first direction, and includes a bottle body member and a bottle body cover that are combined along a second direction that intersects the first direction. The bottle body member defines a bottle mouth that runs along the first direction, and a feeding opening that runs along the second direction. The bottle body cover can be opened to cover the bottle body member and cover the feeding opening, and the bottle body cover cooperates with the bottle body member to define a space inside the bottle. The bottle cover can be opened to cover the bottle body member and cover the bottle mouth. When the present invention is used, the food in the space inside the bottle can be taken through the feeding opening by opening the bottle body cover, so the present invention has the characteristic of being convenient for users to take food in the space inside the bottle.

Description

Food Containers

The invention relates to a container for containing food, in particular to a food container suitable for pickling and preserving food and for containing salad dishes.

Referring to FIG. 1 , a food container commonly known as a Mason jar comprises a bottle body 11 made of glass, and a bottle cap 12 which is openably mounted on the bottle body 11. Since the bottle body 11 is made of transparent glass, the contents can be clearly seen when the food container is used to hold drinks or pickled food, thereby increasing people's appetite. However, such a conventional food container is not suitable for holding salad dishes. On the one hand, it is inconvenient to scoop out food because the bottle mouth is not large enough, and on the other hand, it is difficult to scoop out food at the bottom of the bottle because the distance between the bottle mouth and the bottom of the bottle is far. Furthermore, since such existing food containers are not designed to separate salad dressing from food, when such existing food containers are used to contain salad dishes, the salad dressing is usually directly mixed with the salad ingredients. However, if the salad dressing is in contact with the salad ingredients for a long time, the salad ingredients will no longer taste fresh and crisp. Since the existing food containers have the above shortcomings, it is necessary to further improve the existing food containers.

The purpose of the present invention is to improve at least one disadvantage of the prior art.

The novel food container comprises a bottle body structure and a bottle cover. The bottle body structure extends along a first direction and comprises a bottle body part and a bottle body cover which are combined along a second direction transverse to the first direction. The bottle body part defines a bottle mouth extending along the first direction and a feeding opening extending along the second direction. The bottle body cover can be opened and arranged on the bottle body part and covers the feeding opening, and the bottle body cover cooperates with the bottle body part to define a space inside the bottle. The bottle cover can be opened and arranged on the bottle body part and covers the bottle mouth.

The utility model has the following effects: compared with the bottle mouth located at one end of the inner space of the bottle, the food taking opening is located on the bottle body, so that the user can more conveniently take the food in the inner space of the bottle.

Referring to Figures 2, 3, and 4, an embodiment of the novel food container is suitable for containing various ingredients and foods, such as salad dishes including salad dressing and salad ingredients. The salad ingredients are, for example, shredded lettuce, fruit and vegetable sticks cut into strips, nut pieces or chopped nuts, or meat such as shredded meat/meat cubes/meat slices. The salad dressing is, for example, Thousand Island dressing or Caesar dressing.

The present embodiment includes a bottle body structure 21, a bottle cap 22 covered on the top of the bottle body structure 21, and a container box 23 disposed between the bottle cap 22 and the bottle body structure 21.

3, 4, and 5, the bottle body structure 21 extends up and down along a first direction D1, and the bottle body structure 21 includes a bottle body member 3 and a bottle body cover 4 that are combined together front and back along a second direction D2, a bottle bottom rim 5 formed by the bottle body member 3 and the bottle body cover 4, a sealing strip 6 arranged between the bottle body member 3 and the bottle body cover 4, and a buckle unit 7 for combining the bottle body member 3 and the bottle body cover 4 together.

In this embodiment, the bottle body 3 and the bottle cover 4 are made of transparent plastic, such as Tritan, but in other embodiments of the present invention, the bottle body structure 21 can also be made of other transparent, translucent, or opaque materials.

The bottle body 3 can cooperate with the bottle cover 4 to define a bottle inner space S1. The bottle body 3 includes a bottle mouth 31 and a bottle bottom 32 located at both sides of the top and bottom, a bottle body 33 connected between the bottle mouth 31 and the bottle bottom 32, and a first ring 34 located between the bottle body 33 and the bottle bottom 32 (see FIG8 ).

The bottle mouth 31 is annular, and an outer surface of the bottle mouth 31 is formed with an outer thread. An inner surface of the bottle mouth 31 defines a bottle mouth 311 extending vertically along the first direction D1.

The bottle bottom 32 is opposite to the bottle mouth 311 and includes a first bottom wall 321 opposite to the bottle mouth 311 in the first direction D1. The first bottom wall 321 extends horizontally.

The bottle body portion 33 includes a side plane 331 located at the rear side, and a bottle body rim 332 surrounding the side plane 331. The side plane 331 is marked with a capacity scale. The bottle body rim 332 allows the bottle body structure 21 to be placed horizontally on a plane (see FIG. 8 ).

Referring to Figures 4, 5, and 6, the first edge 34 includes two side edge segments 341 spaced apart from each other along a third direction D3, and a top edge segment 342 and a bottom edge segment 343 spaced apart from each other. Each of the side edge segments 341 extends up and down along the first direction D1. The top edge segment 342 extends forward, bends left and right, and is connected between the top ends of the side edge segments 341. The bottom edge segment 343 extends horizontally and straightly from left to right.

The side edge segments 341, the top edge segment 342, and the bottom edge segment 343 cooperate to define a feeding opening 344 that runs through the second direction D2 from front to back. The feeding opening 344 is located opposite to the bottle body rim 332 in front and back. The feeding opening 344 extends upward from a position at a height equivalent to that of the first bottom wall 321, and is spaced below the bottle mouth 311. The opening area of the feeding opening 344 is larger than the opening area of the bottle mouth 311. An opening width H1 of the feeding opening 344 is larger than half of an inner bottle width H2 of the inner bottle space S1. Specifically, the opening width H1 of the feeding opening 344 may be 70% to 90% of the inner bottle width H2 of the inner bottle space S1, for example, 75%, 80%, or 85%.

The bottle cover 4 is openably disposed on the bottle member 3 to cover the feeding opening 344. When the bottle cover 4 covers the feeding opening 344, the bottle cover 4 cooperates with the bottle member 3 to define the inner space S1 of the bottle.

The bottle cover 4 includes a cover wall 41 in a tortoise-back shape, a second bottom wall 42 connected to one end of the cover wall 41, and a second rim 43 protruding from the cover wall 41 and the second bottom wall 42 toward the bottle body 3.

The second edge 43 abuts against the inner side of the first edge 34. The inner side means that the second edge 43 is closer to the inner space S1 of the bottle than the first edge 34.

The bottom rim 5 extends in a ring shape at the bottom of the bottle body 3 and the bottle cover 4. The bottom rim 5, the first bottom wall 321 of the bottle body 3, and the second bottom wall 42 of the bottle cover 4 cooperate to define a bottom space S2 that is concave upward toward the bottle inner space S1 in the first direction D1.

The sealing strip 6 is made of silicone and is clamped on the second edge 43 of the bottle cover 4. The sealing strip 6 is squeezed by the first edge 34 and the second edge 43 to prevent the contents contained in the bottle space S1 from leaking out from between the first edge 34 and the second edge 43.

5, 7, and 8, the buckle unit 7 is made of plastic, such as polypropylene. The buckle unit 7 is located in the bottle bottom space S2 and includes a buckle member 71 disposed on the first bottom wall 321 of the bottle body 3 and a buckle ring 72 pivotally connected to the second bottom wall 42 of the bottle cover 4.

The buckle member 71 is in a U-shape with its opening facing the second bottom wall 42. The buckle ring 72 is in a square ring shape, and the buckle member 71 can be pressed into the middle, so that the buckle ring 72 and the buckle member 71 are combined together, and the bottle member 3 and the bottle cover 4 are combined together.

4 and 5 , the bottle cap 22 is made of plastic, such as polypropylene. The bottle cap 22 is screwed onto the bottle mouth 31 of the bottle body 3 and covers the bottle mouth 311 .

The container box 23 is made of plastic, such as polypropylene. The container box 23 includes a box body 231 in a round block shape, and a box edge 232 in a ring shape and located at the top of the box body 231. The box edge 232 extends radially outward from the box body 231 and can abut against the top of the bottle mouth 31 of the bottle body 3, so that the box edge 232 can support the box body 231 so that the box body 231 is stored in the bottle mouth 31.

2, 7, and 8, the present embodiment can be switched between an upright state as shown in FIG. 2 and a horizontal state as shown in FIG. 7.

Referring to Figs. 2 and 5, in the upright state, the bottom edge 5 of the bottle is located at the bottom and contacts a support surface. The bottle cap 22 faces upward. Referring to Figs. 3, 7, and 8, in the horizontal state, the body edge 332 is located at the bottom and contacts the support surface. The body cap 4 faces upward.

When using this embodiment, the bottle cap 22 can be opened to take out the container box 23 when the embodiment is in the upright state, and salad ingredients can be placed in the space S1 inside the bottle. Then, the container box 23 is inserted back into the bottle mouth 31, and salad dressing can be poured into the container box 23. Finally, the bottle cap 22 is put back on, and the salad dish is ready. The salad dressing and the salad ingredients can be carried with you through this embodiment.

When eating salad dishes, the bottle cover 22 can be opened in the upright state of the embodiment, and the container box 23 can be taken out and then the bottle cover 22 can be put back. Then the embodiment is switched to the horizontal state. In the horizontal state, the buckle ring 72 is pulled relative to the bottle cover 4 so that the buckle ring 72 is separated from the buckle member 71 as shown in Figures 7 and 8, that is, the buckle member 71 is not locked in the buckle ring 72, and the bottle cover 4 can be separated from the bottle member 3 as shown in Figure 8. When the bottle cover 4 is opened to expose the food taking port 344, the bottle member 3 can be used as a salad bowl.

The first feature of this embodiment is that the feeding opening 344 is located on the bottle body 3, and is closer to the bottle bottom 32 than the bottle opening 311, so that the user can easily use tableware to explore all parts of the bottle inner space S1. In addition, the opening width H1 of the feeding opening 344 is 70% to 90% of the bottle inner width H2 of the bottle inner space S1, which can ensure that the feeding opening 344 is large enough, and the large feeding opening 344 can more conveniently allow the user to scoop out the salad dishes in the bottle inner space S1.

The second feature of this embodiment is that the large enough feeding opening 344 is not only conducive to feeding, but also convenient for the user to put his hand into the bottle body 3 for cleaning. In other words, this embodiment has the characteristics of being easy to clean or having no dead angle in cleaning.

The third feature of this embodiment is that the bottle body rim 332 and the bottle bottom rim 5 are provided, so that the bottle body structure 21 can be stably in the upright state and the horizontal state. With the openable bottle cover 4 and the feeding port 344, this embodiment has the feature of being able to stably serve as a bottle and a bowl.

The fourth feature of this embodiment is that the container box 23 can be used to contain salad dressing so that the salad dressing and salad ingredients can be separated, thereby ensuring the freshness and taste of the salad ingredients.

In summary, the function of the novel food container is that compared with the bottle mouth 311 located at one end of the bottle inner space S1, the food taking opening 344 is located on the bottle body 3, which can provide users with more convenient access to food in the bottle inner space S1.

Claims (10)

A food container comprises: A bottle body structure extending along a first direction and comprising a bottle body part and a bottle body cover combined along a second direction transverse to the first direction, the bottle body part defining a bottle mouth extending along the first direction and a feeding opening extending along the second direction, the bottle body cover being openably disposed on the bottle body part and covering the feeding opening, and the bottle body cover and the bottle body part cooperating to define a bottle inner space; and A bottle cover being openably disposed on the bottle body part and covering the bottle mouth. A food container as described in claim 1, wherein the bottle body structure further includes a snap unit for connecting the bottle body member and the bottle cover together. A food container as described in claim 2, wherein the first direction is the same as the up-down direction, the bottle body and the bottle cover cooperate to define a bottle bottom space that is concave toward the inner space of the bottle in the first direction, and the buckle unit is disposed in the bottle bottom space. A food container as described in claim 2 or 3, wherein the snap unit includes a snap ring that pivotally connects one of the bottle body and the bottle cover, and a snap member arranged on the other of the bottle body and the bottle cover. A food container as described in claim 1, wherein the bottle body includes a bottle mouth portion which is annular and defines the bottle mouth, the bottle cap is openably covered on the bottle mouth portion, and the food container further includes a containing box arranged on the bottle mouth portion. A food container as described in claim 1, wherein the bottle body includes a first rim defining the feeding port, and the bottle cover includes a second rim abutting the inner side of the first rim. A food container as described in claim 6, wherein the bottle body structure further includes a sealing strip located between the first edge and the second edge. A food container as described in claim 1, wherein the feeding opening is larger than the bottle mouth. A food container as described in claim 8, wherein the bottle body includes a bottle bottom opposite to the bottle mouth, and the feeding port extends upward from the bottle bottom and is spaced below the bottle mouth. A food container as described in claim 1, wherein the bottle body further includes a bottle body rim opposite to the feeding port, and the bottle body rim allows the bottle body structure to be placed horizontally on a supporting surface.
