Abstract

A packaging paper includes a paper layer, a first coating layer, and a second coating layer. The first coating layer is disposed on the paper layer. The second coating layer is disposed below the paper layer, in which the first coating layer and the second coating layer independently include a first coating material or a second coating material. The first coating material includes polyurethane and starch resin, and the second coating material includes polyolefin and starch resin. A paper packaging container includes a three-dimensional container and a tearing opening. The three-dimensional container is formed by folded and sealed the packaging paper. The tearing opening is disposed in an upper surface of the three-dimensional container.

Description

Packaging paper and paper packaging containers

The present disclosure relates to a packaging paper and a paper packaging container.

Most of the common packaging on the market is made of plastic materials. These plastic packaging materials bring a lot of convenience to human life. However, with the improvement of environmental awareness, people have found that plastic packaging materials have long-term harm to the environment and are difficult to recycle. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve the above problems.

The present disclosure provides a packaging paper including a paper material layer, a first coating layer and a second coating layer. The first coating layer is disposed on the paper material layer. The second coating layer is disposed under the paper material layer, wherein the first coating layer and the second coating layer independently include a first coating material or a second coating material. The first coating material includes polyurethane and starch resin, and the second coating material includes polyolefin and starch resin.

In some embodiments, in the first coating material, polyurethane accounts for 40 wt % to 80 wt % and starch resin accounts for 20 wt % to 60 wt %, and in the second coating material, polyolefin accounts for 40 wt % to 80 wt % and starch resin accounts for 20 wt % to 60 wt %.

In some embodiments, the first coating layer and the second coating layer independently have a coating amount of 5 g/m2 to 20 g/m2.

In some embodiments, the material of the paper layer includes softwood fiber, broadleaf fiber, or a combination thereof.

In some embodiments, the basis weight of the paper layer is from 30 g/m2 to 200 g/m2.

In some embodiments, the packaging paper further includes a printing layer, wherein the printing layer is disposed on the first coating layer or between the paper layer and the first coating layer.

The present disclosure provides a paper packaging container including a three-dimensional container and a tear-opening opening. The three-dimensional container is formed by folding and sealing the packaging paper of any of the above-mentioned embodiments. The tear-opening opening is arranged in the upper surface of the three-dimensional container.

In some embodiments, the tear opening is in the shape of an elongated strip, and has a central portion, a first end portion, and a second end portion. The width of the tear opening gradually decreases from the central portion to the first end portion and then gradually increases, and gradually decreases from the central portion to the second end portion and then gradually increases.

In some embodiments, the paper packaging container further includes a reinforcing sheet on the upper surface of the three-dimensional container, wherein the tear opening is further disposed in the reinforcing sheet.

In some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet includes a paper layer and a coating layer, and the coating layer is disposed between the paper layer and the three-dimensional container.

In this article, the range expressed by "a value to another value" is a summary expression method to avoid listing all the values in the range one by one in the specification. The present disclosure provides an environmentally friendly, environmentally friendly and easily recyclable wrapping paper and a paper packaging container using the wrapping paper. In addition, the wrapping paper of the present disclosure can be made into a paper packaging container at a low packaging and sealing temperature, thereby achieving the effect of energy saving and carbon reduction, and the paper packaging container of the present disclosure can make the contents easy to extract and the paper packaging container is not easy to break when the contents are extracted. Specifically, the coating in the wrapping paper of the present disclosure includes polyurethane and starch resin or polyolefin and starch resin, so that the sealing temperature of the wrapping paper is low when it is sealed, thereby achieving the effect of energy saving and carbon reduction. The paper packaging container of the present disclosure has a special tearing mouth shape, so that the contents are easy to extract and the paper packaging container is not easy to break when the contents are extracted.

FIG. 1A to FIG. 1C are cross-sectional schematic diagrams of packaging paper according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 1A, packaging paper 100A includes a paper material layer 120, a first coating layer 130, and a second coating layer 110. The first coating layer 130 is disposed on the paper material layer 120. The second coating layer 110 is disposed under the paper material layer 120, wherein the first coating layer 130 and the second coating layer 110 independently include a first coating material or a second coating material. The first coating material includes polyurethane and starch resin, and the second coating material includes polyolefin and starch resin. The first coating material and the second coating material are waterproof and heat-sealable coating materials. The packaging paper 100A can be folded into a paper packaging container. When the first coating layer 130 and the second coating layer 110 independently include the first coating material or the second coating material, the coating layers in contact with each other can be bonded by a low packaging sealing temperature to produce a paper packaging container.

In some embodiments, in the first coating material, polyurethane accounts for 40wt% to 80wt%, such as 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 or 80wt%, and starch resin accounts for 20wt% to 60wt%, such as 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60wt%. If the proportions of polyurethane and starch resin fall within this range, the packaging paper can be made into a paper packaging container at a low packaging sealing temperature, and after sealing, the paper packaging container has a smooth appearance and good quality.

In some embodiments, in the second coating material, polyolefin accounts for 40wt% to 80wt%, such as 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 or 80wt%, and starch resin accounts for 20wt% to 60wt%, such as 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60wt%. If the proportions of polyolefin and starch resin fall within this range, the packaging paper can be made into a paper packaging container at a low packaging sealing temperature, and after sealing, the paper packaging container has a smooth appearance and good quality. In some embodiments, the polyolefin is polymerized from olefins. For example, the polyolefin includes polyethylene, polypropylene or a combination thereof.

In some embodiments, the first coating layer 130 and the second coating layer 110 independently have a coating amount of 5 g/m2 to 20 g/m2, such as 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 20 g/m2. If the first coating layer 130 and the second coating layer 110 independently have a coating amount of 5 g/m2 to 20 g/m2, the packaging paper can be made into a paper packaging container at a low packaging sealing temperature. It can be seen that the surface of the paper material layer 120 only needs to be coated with a small amount of coating to achieve the above effect.

In some embodiments, the material of the paper layer 120 includes softwood fiber, broad-leaved fiber, or a combination thereof. In some embodiments, the basis weight of the paper layer 120 is 30 g/m2 to 200 g/m2, such as 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190, or 200 g/m2. In some embodiments, the fiber yield of the paper layer 120 is greater than 85%, such as 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, or 100%. The fiber yield of the paper layer is obtained by recycling the paper layer 120 after slurrying. The fiber yield of the paper layer 120 is greater than 85% because the paper layer 120 is easily separated from the first coating layer 130 and the second coating layer 110 during the slurrying process, so that more than 85% of the paper fibers of the paper layer 120 can be recycled after slurrying. When the fiber yield of the paper layer 120 is greater than 85%, it means that the recycling yield is high and the materials used in the packaging paper 100A are environmentally friendly.

Referring to FIG. 1B, in some embodiments, the packaging paper 100B further includes a printing layer 140, wherein the printing layer 140 is disposed on the first coating layer 130. In some embodiments, the printing layer 140 is UV ink. Referring to FIG. 1C, in some embodiments, the packaging paper 100C further includes a printing layer 140, wherein the printing layer 140 is disposed between the paper material layer 120 and the first coating layer 130. In some embodiments, the printing layer 140 includes water-based ink. When the printing layer 140 is water-based ink, the first coating layer 130 can protect the water-based ink from being smudged. It should be noted that the packaging paper 100B and the packaging paper 100C have all the advantages of the above-mentioned packaging paper 100A.

Referring to FIG. 2, FIG. 2 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a paper packaging container 200A according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. The paper packaging container 200A includes a three-dimensional container 210 and a tear-off opening 220. The three-dimensional container 210 is formed by folding and sealing the packaging paper 100A, the packaging paper 100B, or the packaging paper 100C. The tear-off opening 220 is in the upper surface of the three-dimensional container 210. In some embodiments, the sealing temperature of the packaging paper 100A, the packaging paper 100B, and the packaging paper 100C is 160° C. to 220° C., for example, 160, 165, 170, 175, 180, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205, 210, 215, or 220° C. When the sealing temperature is 160°C to 220°C, the packaging paper 100A, packaging paper 100B or packaging paper 100C will not be carbonized or yellowed, and when the packaging machine is used to seal the packaging paper 100A, packaging paper 100B or packaging paper 100C, the packaging machine will not have too much load, so that the packaging machine equipment can operate smoothly. In some embodiments, the paper packaging container 200A can be loaded with content 230. In some embodiments, the content 230 includes toilet paper, facial tissue, kitchen paper towel, hand towel paper, etc. In some embodiments, the shape of the paper packaging container 200A can be adjusted according to the shape of the content 230.

In some embodiments, the three-dimensional container 210 can be packaged using the same packaging machine as the one used to package plastic containers. However, since the three-dimensional container 210 is made of paper, the parameters and structure of the packaging machine need to be adjusted and there are some restrictions on the packaging paper used. For example, the slippage of both sides of the packaging paper 100A, the packaging paper 100B, and the packaging paper 100C needs to be limited to 1 degree to 40 degrees, such as 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, or 40 degrees. When the slippage is between 1 degree and 40 degrees, the packaging paper 100A, the packaging paper 100B, or the packaging paper 100C is not likely to slide during packaging. For example, the heat sealing temperature of the packaging machine needs to be controlled at 150° C. to 250° C., such as 150, 155, 160, 165, 170, 175, 180, 185, 190, 195, 200, 205, 210, 215, 220, 225, 230, 235, 240, 245 or 250° C. When the heat sealing temperature of the packaging machine is between 150° C. and 250° C., the packaging paper 100A, the packaging paper 100B or the packaging paper 100C will not be carbonized or yellowed, and the packaging machine will not be overloaded, so that the packaging machine equipment can operate smoothly. For another example, the packaging machine can use the intermittent operation of the guide wheel and select conveyor belts with different friction coefficients according to different process requirements, so that the packaging yield is stable during the packaging process and the packaging has good appearance integrity. In some embodiments, the friction coefficient of the conveyor belt is 0.3 to 0.8, such as 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7 or 0.8. In some embodiments, the conveyor belt is a polyurethane belt. Through the above-mentioned parameters and structural adjustments of the packaging machine and the limitation of the slip of the packaging paper used, the packaging machine can be more suitable for three-dimensional containers 210 with paper materials.

See FIG. 3, which is a schematic top view of the paper packaging container 200A of FIG. 2. In some embodiments, the tear opening 220 is a strip-shaped tear opening 220 having a central portion 220C, a first end portion 220E1, and a second end portion 220E2. The width of the tear opening 220 gradually decreases from the central portion 220C to the first end portion 220E1 and then gradually increases, and gradually decreases from the central portion 220C to the second end portion 220E2 and then gradually increases. The user can tear off a portion of the three-dimensional container 210 along the dotted line shown in FIG. 3 to take out the content 230 in the paper packaging container 200A. In some embodiments, the first end portion 220E1 and the second end portion 220E2 have arc-shaped side walls. In some embodiments, the two sides of the central portion 220C are arc-shaped side walls. When the tear opening 220 has the aforementioned shape, the contents 230 are easy to extract and the paper packaging container 200A is not easily broken due to the extraction of the contents 230.

In some embodiments, the tear opening 220 has a first width W1 located at the central portion 220C, a second width W2 at the junction of the central portion 220C and the first end 220E1 or the second end 220E2, and a third width W3 located at the first end 220E1 or the second end 220E2. The second width W2 is the width of the narrowest part of the tear opening 220, and the third width W3 is the width of the widest part of the first end 220E1 or the second end 220E2. In some embodiments, the second width W2 is 15% to 28% of the first width W1, for example, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 or 28%. In some embodiments, the third width W3 is 20% to 35% of the first width W1, for example, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 or 35%.

In some embodiments, the tear 220 has a length L2 and a length L3. The length L2 is the total length of the tear 220, and the length L3 is the width of the central portion 220C, that is, the distance between the two narrowest widths of the tear 220. The central portion 220C can also be called the widening portion, which is the area where the tear 220 gradually increases from the two narrowest widths to the widest width. In some embodiments, the length L2 is 80% to 95% of the length L1 of the three-dimensional container 210, for example 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94 or 95%. In some embodiments, the length L3 is 40% to 55% of the length L1 of the three-dimensional container 210, for example, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54 or 55%.

See FIG. 4, which is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a paper packaging container 200B according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the paper packaging container 200B further includes a reinforcing sheet 240 on the upper surface of the three-dimensional container 210, wherein the tear opening 220 is further disposed in the reinforcing sheet 240. When the reinforcing sheet 240 is disposed in the aforementioned position, when the tear opening 220 is torn along the dotted line to form an extraction hole (not shown), the strength of the periphery of the extraction hole can be enhanced, so that when the contents 230 are extracted, the periphery of the extraction hole is less likely to break and the tensile damage during the extraction process can be avoided. In some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet 240 is attached to the upper surface of the three-dimensional container 210 by bonding.

FIG. 5 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the reinforcing sheet 240 along the section line A-B of FIG. 4. Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, in some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet 240 includes a coating layer 242 and a paper layer 244, and the coating layer 242 is disposed between the paper layer 244 and the three-dimensional container 210. In some embodiments, the basis weight of the reinforcing sheet 240 is 20 g/m2 to 50 g/m2, such as 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48 or 50 g/m2. In some embodiments, the paper layer 244 includes Japanese paper. In some embodiments, the basis weight of the paper layer 244 is 37 g/m2 to 43 g/m2, such as 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, or 43 g/m2. In some embodiments, the thickness of the paper layer 244 is 0.05 mm to 0.06 mm, such as 0.05, 0.052, 0.054, 0.056, 0.058, or 0.06 mm. In some embodiments, the coating layer 242 includes R glue (weak adhesive). In some embodiments, the basis weight of the coating layer 242 is 19 g/m2 to 23 g/m2, such as 19, 20, 21, 22, or 23 g/m2. In some embodiments, the coating 242 has a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.03 mm, such as 0.01, 0.015, 0.02, 0.025, or 0.03 mm.

In summary, the present disclosure provides an environmentally friendly, environmentally friendly and easily recyclable wrapping paper and a paper packaging container using the wrapping paper. In addition, the wrapping paper of the present disclosure has a low sealing temperature during sealing, the contents loaded into the paper packaging container are easy to extract, and the paper packaging container is not easy to break when the contents are extracted.

Claims (10)

A packaging paper comprises: a paper material layer; a first coating layer disposed on the paper material layer; and a second coating layer disposed under the paper material layer, wherein the first coating layer and the second coating layer independently comprise a first coating material or a second coating material, the first coating material comprises polyurethane and starch resin, and the second coating material comprises polyolefin and the starch resin. The packaging paper as described in claim 1, wherein in the first coating material, the polyurethane accounts for 40wt% to 80wt% and the starch resin accounts for 20wt% to 60wt%, and in the second coating material, the polyolefin accounts for 40wt% to 80wt% and the starch resin accounts for 20wt% to 60wt%. The packaging paper as described in claim 1, wherein the first coating layer and the second coating layer independently have a coating amount of 5 g/m2 to 20 g/m2. The packaging paper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the material of the paper layer includes softwood fiber, broad-leaved tree fiber or a combination thereof. The packaging paper as described in claim 1, wherein a basis weight of the paper layer is 30 g/m2 to 200 g/m2. The packaging paper as described in claim 1 further includes a printing layer, wherein the printing layer is arranged on the first coating layer or between the paper layer and the first coating layer. A paper packaging container, comprising: a three-dimensional container, which is formed by folding and sealing the packaging paper as described in any one of claim 1 to claim 6; and a tear opening, which is arranged in an upper surface of the three-dimensional container. A paper packaging container as described in claim 7, wherein the tear opening is in the shape of an elongated strip, and has a central portion, a first end portion and a second end portion, and a width of the tear opening gradually decreases from the central portion to the first end portion and then gradually increases, and gradually decreases from the central portion to the second end portion and then gradually increases. The paper packaging container as described in claim 7 further includes a reinforcing sheet on the upper surface of the three-dimensional container, wherein the tear opening is further arranged in the reinforcing sheet. A paper packaging container as described in claim 9, wherein the reinforcing sheet includes a paper layer and a coating layer, and the coating layer is disposed between the paper layer and the three-dimensional container.
