Abstract

The present application is a junction box, which includes a cover, a box body and a fixing piece. The cover body has a first cover surface and a second cover surface, the first cover surface and the second cover surface are arranged opposite to each other, the second cover surface is convexly provided with a hinge part, and two opposite sides of the hinge part are respectively concavely provided with a slot; the box body is hinged to the cover body, the box body has a straight wall and a bottom plate, the straight wall is provided with a first opening part, the straight wall is connected to the bottom plate, thereby forming a wire accommodating groove and an engaging groove, two opposite sides of the engaging groove are respectively convexly provided with a convex part, the convex part can be combined with the slot of the hinge part, so that the hinge part is hinged in the engaging groove; the fixing member selectively fixes the cover body to the box body, when the cover body is covered on the box body, the fixing member is arranged between the cover body and the box body to fix the cover body and the box body. This solves the problem of messy and exposed monitor wires.

Junction Box

This application relates to a box, in particular to a junction box.

Generally, people install surveillance cameras in important areas of their homes, such as the front door, courtyard, parking lot, and other blind spots, to effectively monitor and improve home security. In addition, if you encounter a dispute, you can also provide video evidence to provide proof for yourself and protect your personal and property safety.

The monitors sold on the market are equipped with control circuits, power circuits, and heat dissipation circuits, so multiple wires are inevitably needed. After practical experience by relevant technical personnel, the current monitors have the following technical problems:

1. The problem of tangled wires: Current monitors do not have devices to integrate wires, so the wires can only be placed outside the monitor, which is not neat and tidy in appearance.

2. The problem of exposed wires: Since the wires of the monitor are installed outside the monitor, they are easily aged and damaged after being exposed to wind, sun and rain.

In view of this, the industry is actively developing a technical solution to solve the above problems in order to improve the defects of the existing technology.

The purpose of this application is to propose a junction box to solve the problem of disordered and exposed wires of monitors.

The above-mentioned purpose does not preclude the existence of other purposes. If a person with ordinary knowledge in the relevant technical field can deduce the purpose from the description of this application, the scope of the patent application, or the drawings, it is also included in the purpose of this application. Therefore, the purpose of this application is not limited to the above-mentioned purposes.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present application provides a junction box, which includes a cover, a box body and a fixing member. The cover body has a first cover surface and a second cover surface, the first cover surface and the second cover surface are arranged opposite to each other, the second cover surface is convexly provided with a hinge part, and two opposite sides of the hinge part are respectively concavely provided with a slot; the box body is hinged to the cover body, the box body has a straight wall and a bottom plate, the straight wall is provided with a first opening part, the straight wall is connected to the bottom plate, thereby forming a wire accommodating groove and an engaging groove, two opposite sides of the engaging groove are respectively convexly provided with a convex part, the convex part can be combined with the slot of the hinge part, so that the hinge part is hinged in the engaging groove; the fixing member selectively fixes the cover body to the box body, when the cover body is covered on the box body, the fixing member is arranged between the cover body and the box body to fix the cover body and the box body.

In summary, the present invention stores the wires in the junction box by using the wire trough to store the wires, thereby solving the problem of wire aesthetics. In addition, it can also prevent the wires from being exposed and affected by the external environment.

Please refer to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3 , the junction box 100 includes a cover 10 , a box body 20 and a fixing member 30 .

The cover body 10 has a first cover surface 11 and a second cover surface 12. The first cover surface 11 and the second cover surface 12 are disposed opposite to each other.

The first cover surface 11 of the cover body 10 is concavely provided with a first coupling portion 111. In this embodiment, there are a plurality of first coupling portions 111, which are respectively disposed at each corner of the first cover surface 11 for the fixing member 30 to be disposed.

The first cover surface 11 is provided with an anti-slip portion 112 to increase the friction with the object. The anti-slip portion 112 has a plurality of blind holes, and the plurality of blind holes are arranged on the first cover surface 11. The shapes of the plurality of blind holes can be triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, etc., and the present application is not limited thereto.

Please refer to FIG. 2 , the second cover surface 12 is provided with a hinge portion 13. Furthermore, the hinge portion 13 can be designed to be hollow inside to reduce the material and cost during manufacturing. The hinge portion 13 has two recessed slots 131 on opposite sides thereof, and the slots 131 are used for the hinge of the cover body 10.

In an embodiment of the present application, the slot 131 has a slot 131a and a movable section 131b. The slot 131a is connected to the movable section 131b. The opening width of the slot 131a is smaller than the radial width of the movable section 131b, so that the slot 131 is generally in the shape of an English letter T.

The cover 10 has a first opening 14. The first opening 14 passes through the cover 10. The anti-slip portion 112 is adjacent to the first opening 14. When the cover 10 covers the box 20, the first opening 14 connects the wire groove 21 of the box 20 with the outside of the box 20, and the wire 1 can pass through the first opening 14 from the wire groove 21 to the outside of the box 20. On the other hand, when the first opening 14 is not needed, a plug 2 can be set at the first opening 14 to prevent the wire groove 21 from connecting with the outside of the box 20.

Please refer to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , the box body 20 is hinged with the cover body 10. The box body 20 can be made of plastic material. The box body 20 is formed in one piece. The box body 20 has a straight wall 22 and a bottom plate 23.

The straight wall 22 is connected to the bottom plate 23 to form a wire receiving groove 21 and an insertion groove 24. The insertion groove 24 has two opposite sides with protrusions 241, which can be coupled to the slot 131 of the hinge 13, so that the hinge 13 is hinged in the insertion groove 24.

The protrusion 241 of the insertion groove 24 has a coupling section 241a. The peripheral width of the coupling section 241a is less than or equal to the opening width of the slot 131a. The length of the coupling section 241a is approximately equal to the depth of the slot 131. During assembly, the coupling section 241a enters from the slot 131a of the slot 131 and then is located at the movable section 131b. The coupling section 241a can move in the movable section 131b of the slot 131.

Furthermore, an opening 241b is concavely formed at the top edge of the engaging groove 24, and the opening 241b is adapted to the shape of the hinge portion 13. The opening 241b enables the hinge portion 13 to be pivoted in the engaging groove 24, that is, there is no obstruction between the opening 241b and the hinge portion 13, and the hinge portion 13 can be pivoted smoothly.

The fixing member 30 selectively fixes the cover 10 to the box body 20 ; wherein the fixing member 30 may be a screw. When the cover 10 is covered on the box body 20 , the fixing member 30 is disposed between the cover 10 and the box body 20 to fix the cover 10 and the box body 20 .

Please refer to FIGS. 4 to 6 , the straight wall 22 is provided with a first opening 221, and the bottom plate 23 has a second opening 231. The first opening 221 can be provided at the front, rear, left, or right side of the straight wall 22. The first opening 221 can be removed by an external force to form an interface 221a, and the interface 221a is provided for an adapter 3 to receive the wire 1. The second opening 231 is provided approximately at the center of the bottom plate 23, and the second opening 231 can be removed by an external force to form a second opening. When the cover 10 is covered on the box body 20, the second opening connects the wire trough 21 and the outside of the box body 20.

In one embodiment of the present application, the box body 20 is provided with a groove 25, which is used to reduce the materials and costs during manufacturing. The groove 25 is located on one side of the wire receiving groove 21, and the groove 25 is adjacent to the engaging groove 24. The groove 25 will not affect the pivoting of the hinge part 13. There are two grooves 25, and the engaging groove 24 is located between the two grooves 25.

Please refer to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , the straight wall 22 and the bottom plate 23 form a hollow second joint 26, and the hollow part of the second joint 26 is directly connected to the bottom plate 23 to reduce the manufacturing material. The second joint 26 is arranged corresponding to the first joint 111. The fixing member 30 can be arranged on the first joint 111 and the second joint 26 to fix the cover 10 to the box body 20.

In an embodiment of the present application, the junction box 100 further includes an airtight member 40, which can be made of a soft material. The airtight member 40 is disposed along the top edge of the wire receiving groove 21, so that the cover 10 can be more tightly disposed on the box body 20.

Please refer to FIG. 7 , the chassis 23 has a mounting portion 232 for the junction box 100 to be mounted on other objects, such as a telephone pole. In this embodiment, a coupling member 4 is passed through a gap in the mounting portion 232 to be mounted on the object.

Furthermore, the chassis 23 is provided with a plurality of stabilizing parts 233, which are distributed around the mounting part 232. The plurality of stabilizing parts 233 may be cylindrical in shape. In addition, the plurality of stabilizing parts 233 may be removed by external force to become a wire connection interface for the wire 1 to pass through.

In summary, this application contains the following technical features:

1. The present application uses the wire trough 21 to store the wire 1, and stores the wire 1 in the junction box 100, thereby solving the aesthetic problem of the wire 1.

2. On the other hand, the junction box 100 of the present application can also prevent the wire 1 from being exposed and affected by the external environment, thereby further improving the service life of the wire 1.

3. This application can open wire connection interfaces at different locations according to actual needs, and is extremely versatile in use.

The aforementioned effects do not preclude the existence of other effects. If a person skilled in the art can derive effects from the description in the specification, patent application scope, or drawings, they are also included in the effects of this application. Therefore, the effects of this application are not limited to the aforementioned effects.

Claims (10)

A junction box includes: A cover body, which has a first cover surface and a second cover surface, the first cover surface and the second cover surface are arranged opposite to each other, the second cover surface is convexly provided with a pivoting portion, and the two opposite sides of the pivoting portion are respectively concavely provided with a slot; A box body, which is pivotally connected to the cover body, the box body has a straight wall and a bottom plate, the straight wall is provided with a first opening, the straight wall is connected to the bottom plate, thereby forming a wire accommodating groove and an engaging groove, the two opposite sides of the engaging groove are respectively convexly provided with a convex portion, the convex portion can be combined with the slot of the pivoting portion, so that the pivoting portion is pivoted in the engaging groove; and A fixing member selectively fixes the cover to the box. When the cover is closed on the box, the fixing member is disposed between the cover and the box to fix the cover and the box. A junction box as described in claim 1, wherein the card slot has a notch and a movable section, the notch is connected to the movable section, and the opening width of the notch is smaller than the radial width of the movable section, and the protrusion has a coupling section, and the peripheral width of the coupling section is smaller than or equal to the opening width of the notch. As described in claim 2, the junction box has an opening recessed on the top edge of the mating slot, and the opening enables the hinge part to be pivoted in the mating slot. A junction box as described in claim 1, wherein the cover has a first opening, the first cover surface of the cover is provided with a non-slip portion, the non-slip portion is adjacent to the first opening, and when the cover is closed on the box body, the first opening connects the wire accommodating groove and the outside of the box body. A junction box as described in claim 1, wherein the first cover surface is recessed with a first coupling portion, the straight wall and the bottom plate form a hollow second coupling portion, the second coupling portion is arranged corresponding to the first coupling portion, and the fixing member can be arranged on the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion to fix the cover body to the box body. The junction box as described in claim 1 further includes an airtight member arranged along the top edge of the wire trough. As described in claim 1, the junction box, wherein the box body is made of plastic material, and the first opening portion can be removed after being subjected to external force, thereby forming an interface. A junction box as described in claim 1, wherein the box body is made of plastic material, the chassis has a second opening, and the second opening can be removed after being acted upon by an external force to form a second opening. When the cover is closed on the box body, the second opening connects the wire accommodating groove and the outside of the box body. A junction box as described in claim 1, wherein the chassis has a mounting portion. A junction box as described in claim 9, wherein the chassis is provided with a plurality of stabilizing parts, and the stabilizing parts are distributed around the mounting part.
