Abstract

The invention is an accessory module for a support frame, which is detachably arranged on the support frame. The support frame has a first joint. The accessory module includes a main body, a quick-release connector, and a rotating member. The quick-release connector has a second joint, which matches the first joint. The quick-release connector is passed through the main body so that the second joint is engaged with the first joint to fix the main body on the support frame. The rotating member is pivotally connected to the main body so that the rotating member can switch between a first position and a second position.

Accessory module for support frame

This invention relates to an accessory module for a support frame, in particular to an accessory module that can be quickly disassembled and assembled and has multiple functions.

Monitors are usually placed on a work surface with a support frame, which provides a stable base for the monitor. If the monitor needs to be raised or lowered, a pulley structure will be installed inside the support frame. In addition to the above basic functions, there are also support frames on the market that can provide other additional functions, such as installing a cable management structure for monitor cables, charging ports, and audio and video accessories to change the usage atmosphere.

In order to assemble other additional modules on the support frame, it is known to set a specific connection structure on the support frame to correspond to other equipment (such as webcams, live broadcast lighting, etc.). However, the connection structures of various devices have different specifications, and tools may be required for disassembly and assembly. Due to the inconvenience of disassembly and assembly, users usually do not disassemble and replace them at will, resulting in insufficient flexibility and inflexibility in use, and unable to adapt to multiple uses.

Therefore, the known support frame is insufficient in terms of convenience and versatility, and needs to be further improved to meet more diverse usage requirements.

The main purpose of this invention is to provide an accessory module for a support frame, which has a quick-release connector, so that users can quickly assemble or disassemble it by hand without the need for additional tools. In addition, the accessory module of this invention can adopt universal gimbal specifications to increase compatibility.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide an accessory module for a support stand, the accessory module itself can have multiple functions, for example, the user can switch the use angle of the accessory module and switch different usage scenarios, such as as a handle or as a headphone hanger.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the invention discloses an accessory module for a support frame, the accessory module is detachably arranged on the support frame, the support frame has a first joint, the accessory module includes a main body, a quick-release connector, and a rotating member. The quick-release connector has a second joint, the second joint matches the first joint, the quick-release connector is passed through the main body, the second joint is engaged with the first joint, so as to fix the main body on the support frame. The rotating member is pivotally connected to the main body, so that the rotating member can be switched between a first position and a second position.

The rotating member has a first stop structure, and the main member has a second stop structure. When the rotating member is at the first position or the second position, the first stop structure and the second stop structure interfere with each other.

The rotating member has a U-shaped body and two opposite hinges. The main body has two opposite ends. The hinges are respectively connected to the ends. When the rotating member switches between the first position and the second position, the hinges rotate relative to the ends.

The first stop structure is disposed adjacent to the hinge portion, and the second stop structure is disposed adjacent to the end portion.

The main body further comprises a through hole for the quick-release connector to pass through.

The quick-release connector further includes a head portion, the diameter of which is greater than the diameter of the through hole. When the second joint is engaged with the first joint, the head portion presses against the main body to fix the main body on the support frame.

The first joint is a pan head hole with an internal thread, and the second joint is a screw rod with an external thread.

The main body further includes two screws and two friction blocks, which respectively connect the pivot part to the end part.

The rotating member is in a vertical state when in the first position, and in a horizontal state when in the second position. A rotation angle of the rotating member from the first position to the second position is greater than 90 degrees.

The rotating member has an inclined surface, and when the rotating member is at the second position, the inclined surface is non-horizontal.

Please refer to Figures 1 and 2. This invention discloses an accessory module 1, which is applied to a support frame 2000, and the support frame 2000 can be used to mount a display 3000. More specifically, the accessory module 1 of this invention is detachably mounted on the support frame 2000. The support frame 2000 has a first joint 2100. In this embodiment, the first joint 2100 is located at the top of the support frame 2000. The accessory module 1 includes a main body 11, a quick-release connector 13, and a rotating member 15. The quick-release connector 13 is penetrated through the main body 11 to be combined with the first joint 2100, so as to detachably mount the accessory module 1 on the top of the support frame 2000.

The first connector 2100 can be a hole or a screw, as long as the quick-release connector 13 is matched with it. In the embodiment of the present invention, the first connector 2100 adopts a universal specification pan/tilt hole, which can be applied to a variety of devices on the market, and the quick-release connector 13 is a screw with matching specifications, and vice versa, which will be described in detail below.

Please refer to Figures 3 to 5. The rotating member 15 has a U-shaped body 151, two opposite pivot portions 153, and two first stop structures 155, and the first stop structures 155 are respectively disposed adjacent to the pivot portions 153. The main member 11 includes a gasket 110, a through hole 111, two opposite end portions 113, two second stop structures 115, two screws 117, and two friction blocks 119. Among them, the through hole 111 is for the quick-release connector 13 to pass through, the second stop structure 115 is adjacent to the end 113, and the pivoting portion 153 is respectively connected to the end 113, the screw 117 and the friction block 119 respectively connect the pivoting portion 153 to the end 113, thereby, the rotating member 15 can be pivotally connected to the main member 11, so that the rotating member 15 can switch between a first position (a vertical state as shown in FIG. 6) and a second position (a horizontal state as shown in FIG. 7), and the pivoting portion 153 rotates relative to the end 113.

The gasket 110 has an anti-wear effect. When the main body 11 is fixed to the support frame 2000 by the quick-release connector 13, the gasket 110 contacts the support frame 2000. In addition, the friction block 119 has the functions of anti-wear and providing a hand feel. The anti-wear effect is to prevent the screw 117 from directly contacting the hinge 153 and being damaged. The friction block 119 can also provide a hand feel when the user operates the rotating member, so that the rotating member 15 can stop at various angles.

Next, the quick-release connector 13 is described. The quick-release connector 13 further includes a head 131 and a second connector 133. The second connector 133 matches the first connector 2100. The diameter of the head 131 is greater than the diameter of the through hole 111. When the quick-release connector 13 is inserted into the through hole 111 of the main body 11 and the second connector 133 is engaged with the first connector 2100, the head 131 presses against the main body 11 to fix the main body 11 on the support frame 2000.

Next, the first stop structure 155 and the second stop structure 115 are further described. As shown in Figures 4, 6 and 7, when the rotating member 15 is in the first position (vertical state as shown in Figure 6) or the second position (horizontal state as shown in Figure 7), the first stop structure 155 and the second stop structure 115 interfere with each other. As shown in the second position (horizontal state) in Figure 4, it can be seen that the first stop structure 155 is abutted against the second stop structure 115 on the bottom side and is limited. It can be understood that when the rotating member 15 rotates to the first position (vertical state), the first stop structure 155 will abut against the first stop structure 155 on the other side and be limited, thereby limiting the range of motion of the rotating member 15.

Please refer to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7 again. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rotation angle A of the rotating member 15 from the first position (vertical state) to the second position (horizontal state) is greater than 90 degrees. Thus, the rotating member 15 is slightly tilted forward in the first position (vertical state), so that it can still maintain the first position (vertical state) in a natural state, and avoid falling back to the second position (horizontal state) due to its own weight.

In another preferred embodiment, the rotating member 15 further has a slope 157. When the rotating member 15 is in the second position, the slope is non-horizontal. Its function is that when the rotating member 15 is horizontal in the second position and an external device such as headphones is mounted, the slope 157 can prevent it from sliding backwards.

It should be noted that in the present invention, the first connector 2100 is a pan head hole with an internal thread (for example, 1/4 inch international standard), and the second connector 133 is a screw rod with an external thread (also 1/4 inch international standard), but it is not limited to this, as long as the first connector 2100 and the second connector 133 can match each other.

In summary, the accessory module of this invention is assembled on the support frame by means of a quick-release connector, so the user can quickly assemble or disassemble it by hand without the need for additional tools. In addition, the accessory module itself can have multiple functions, such as the user can switch the use angle of the accessory module and switch different use scenarios, such as as a handle or as a headphone hanger.

Claims (10)

An accessory module for a support frame is detachably arranged on the support frame, and the support frame has a first joint. The accessory module includes: A main body; A quick-release connector, having a second joint, the second joint matches the first joint, the quick-release connector is passed through the main body, so that the second joint is connected to the first joint to fix the main body on the support frame; A rotating member, pivotally connected to the main body, so that the rotating member can switch between a first position and a second position. An accessory module as described in claim 1, wherein the rotating part has a first stop structure and the main part has a second stop structure, and when the rotating part is in the first position or the second position, the first stop structure and the second stop structure interfere with each other. An accessory module as described in claim 2, wherein the rotating member has a U-shaped main body and two opposite pivot parts, the main body has two opposite end parts, the pivot parts are respectively connected to the end parts, and when the rotating member switches between the first position and the second position, the pivot parts rotate relative to the end parts. An accessory module as described in claim 3, wherein the first stop structure is adjacent to the hinge portion, and the second stop structure is adjacent to the end portion. As described in claim 4, the accessory module, wherein the main body further includes a through hole for the quick-release connector to pass through. An accessory module as described in claim 5, wherein the quick-release connector further includes a head portion, the diameter of the head portion is greater than the diameter of the through hole, and when the second joint is engaged with the first joint, the head portion presses against the main body to fix the main body to the support frame. An accessory module as described in claim 6, wherein the first joint is a pan head hole having an internal thread, and the second joint is a screw portion having an external thread. An accessory module as described in claim 7, wherein the main body further includes two screws and two friction blocks, which respectively connect the pivot part to the end part. An accessory module as described in any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the rotatable member is in a vertical state in the first position, the rotatable member is in a horizontal state in the second position, and a rotation angle of the rotatable member from the first position to the second position is greater than 90 degrees. An accessory module as described in claim 9, wherein the rotatable member has an inclined surface, and when the rotatable member is in the second position, the inclined surface is non-horizontal.
