As seen more clearly in Figure 6(c), spacers 1116 are present to define the mounting areas of the various busbar units such that the individual busbar units are separated by an insulating spacer 1116. Each busbar unit electrically connects adjacent two battery cells, and the busbar unit can be electrically connected to the battery cells by any suitable means, such as by soldering.
