Abstract

This invention provides a method and apparatus for providing a webpage offering goods that can be the object of e-commerce. One embodiment of the method may include the following steps: transmitting a first page to a user terminal, the first page displaying a first category button indicating a first category, where the first category represents a type of goods; obtaining first user input from the user terminal, the first user input being used to select the first category button on the first page; and determining, in response to the first user input, that the types of goods corresponding to the first category button include one or more first object goods, the one or more first object goods being classified as... A second category, which is at a different level from the first category, is a category determined based on at least a portion of the product's discount rate, discount period, or purchase history; and a second page is transmitted to the user terminal, which displays one or more of the first target products and is distinct from the first page, including a special area displaying one or more second target products selected from the one or more first target products in a manner corresponding to the second category.

Description

Methods and devices for providing product web pages

This invention relates to a technology for providing web pages that can be used as objects of e-commerce.

Due to the development of communication technology, e-commerce services, which facilitate online transactions of goods, are becoming increasingly common. The scope of e-commerce services is no longer limited to goods; it is expanding to include services as well. As mentioned above, various goods are traded on platforms that provide e-commerce services. Therefore, the platform operators need to effectively visualize these diverse goods for users.

[Problem Solved by the Invention] The technical problem to be solved by this invention is to provide a technology that improves user convenience.

Another technical problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a technology that can reduce the number of user inputs required to reach the product a user wants.

Another technical problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a technology that can dynamically recommend products related to the products that the user wants.

Another technical problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a technique that can guide users to make purchases by revealing products that users may be interested in.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for providing a webpage for conducting e-commerce, which is implemented by an electronic device and may include the following steps: transmitting a first page to a user terminal, the first page displaying a first category button indicating a first category, wherein the first category indicates a type of product; obtaining first user input from the user terminal, the first user input being used to select the first category button on the first page; and determining, in response to the first user input, that the types of products corresponding to the first category button include one or more first target products. One or more first target products are classified into a second category at a different level from the first category, the second category being determined based on at least a portion of the product's discount rate, discount period, or purchase history; and a second page is transmitted to the user terminal, the second page displaying one or more first target products and being distinct from the first page, the second page including a special area displaying one or more second target products selected from the one or more first target products in a manner corresponding to the second category.

In one embodiment, the step of transmitting the first page to the user terminal may include the following steps: displaying a group of category buttons in a first area of the first page, the group of category buttons including a first category button and one or more category buttons representing a category at the same level as the first category; the step of displaying the group of category buttons in the first area includes the following steps. Display an enlarge button to expand the width of the first area in the first area; obtain a second user input from the user terminal to the enlarge button; expand the width of the first area in response to the second user input and display it on the first page; and display at least a portion of the plurality of buttons included in the group of category buttons in the enlarged first area.

In one embodiment, the step of displaying at least a portion of the plurality of buttons in the widened first area may include the following steps: determining the display order of the plurality of buttons based on at least a portion of the discount rate of the goods corresponding to each of the plurality of buttons, the discount period of the goods corresponding to each of the plurality of buttons, or the purchase history of the goods corresponding to each of the plurality of buttons; and displaying at least a portion of the plurality of buttons in the widened first area based on the display order.

In one embodiment, the first category button may include a thumbnail corresponding to the first category, wherein the thumbnail is an image of any one of the more than one second object product.

In one embodiment, the above method may further include the following steps: displaying a details button in the second area of the first page, the details button being used to display a group of goods including one or more of the second object goods; the group of goods further including one or more goods selected from one or more goods included in the third category at the same level as the first category in a manner corresponding to the second category.

In one embodiment, the details button may include an image representing the number of goods included in the group of goods.

In one embodiment, the above method may further include the following steps: obtaining a third user input from the user terminal for the details button; and in response to the third user input, displaying at least a portion of the plurality of products included in the product group on a third page that is distinct from the first page.

In one embodiment, the step of displaying at least a portion of the plurality of products included in the above-mentioned product group on the above-mentioned third page may include the following steps: determining the display order of the plurality of products based on at least a portion of the discount rate corresponding to each of the plurality of products, the discount period corresponding to each of the plurality of products, or the purchase history corresponding to each of the plurality of products; and displaying at least a portion of the plurality of products on the above-mentioned third page based on the display order.

In one embodiment, the step of transmitting the second page to the user terminal may include the following steps: on the second page, displaying the special area above the ordinary area displaying the one or more first object products.

In one embodiment, the aforementioned one or more second target products may be displayed in the aforementioned special area in an order determined based on the discount rate corresponding to each of the aforementioned one or more second target products, the discount period corresponding to each of the aforementioned one or more second target products, or at least a portion of the purchase history corresponding to each of the aforementioned one or more second target products.

In one embodiment, the above method may further include the following steps: obtaining a fourth user input from the user terminal, the fourth user input being used to move a selected product among a plurality of products displayed on the second page; and displaying the selected product on the fourth page in response to the fourth user input; and the fourth page including a recommendation area displaying one or more recommended products related to the selected product.

In one embodiment, the step of displaying the selected product on the fourth page, which includes the recommended area, may include the following steps: displaying one or more recipes related to the selected product in the recommended area; obtaining a fifth user input from the user terminal, the fifth user input being used to select a recipe from the one or more recipes; and displaying one or more recommended products included in the selected recipes in the recommended area in response to the fifth user input.

In one embodiment, the step of displaying the selected product on the fourth page, which includes the recommended area, may include the following steps: based on the purchase history of the selected product, displaying one or more recommended products purchased together with the selected product in the recommended area.

In one embodiment, the purchase history of the selected goods may be either the purchase history of the user corresponding to the user terminal or the purchase history of the user group that includes the user.

Another embodiment of the present invention may include an electronic device comprising: a communication interface configured to communicate with a network; a processor configured to execute a computer program including one or more instructions; and memory configured to load the computer program; wherein the computer program includes the following instructions: an instruction to transmit a first page to a user terminal, the first page displaying a first category button indicating a first category, the first category being a category of goods; an instruction to obtain first user input from the user terminal, the first user input being for selecting the first category button on the first page; and a response to the first user input to confirm... The invention includes an instruction to specify that the product category corresponding to the button in the first category includes one or more first-objective products, wherein the one or more first-objective products are classified into a second category at a different level from the first category, and the second category is determined based on at least a portion of the product's discount rate, discount period, or purchase history; and an instruction to transmit a second page to the user terminal, the second page displaying the one or more first-objective products and being distinct from the first page, the second page including a special area displaying one or more second-objective products selected from the one or more first-objective products in a manner corresponding to the second category. Furthermore, in the following descriptions of the embodiments, repeated descriptions of identical or corresponding constituent elements are omitted, but this does not mean that the constituent element is not included in that embodiment.

Figure 1 illustrates the environment in which devices 110 and 120, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can be applied. The environment may include the goods handling device 110 and the user terminal 120.

On the other hand, Figure 1 shows an example of a user terminal 120 applied to a goods processing device 110, but this is only for ease of understanding, and the number of user terminals 120 can be arbitrarily changed. That is, more than one user terminal 120 can utilize the e-commerce service platform provided by the goods processing device 110. Furthermore, Figure 1 only shows a preferred embodiment for achieving the purpose of this invention, and some constituent elements may be added as needed.

The following will provide a more detailed explanation using the constituent elements shown in Figure 1.

The product processing device 110 can be a server device of an e-commerce service platform. That is, the product processing device 110 can be understood as a server device operating under the management of the platform's operator.

The goods processing device 110 can process e-commerce services provided by the platform to users, namely transactions related to online goods (products or services). To avoid repetition, the specific actions of the goods processing device 110 in processing online transactions related to goods will be described below with reference to Figure 3. It should be noted that even if an action is not described below, if it is a common action performed by the server device of the platform related to e-commerce services, the application of the technical concept of the present invention by referring to such actions is not excluded from the scope of the present invention.

The product processing device 110 can be implemented as one or more computing devices. For example, all functions of the product processing device 110 can be implemented in a single computing device. Or, for example, a first function of the product processing device 110 can be implemented in a first computing device, and a second function can be implemented in a second computing device. For example, the computing device can be a desktop computer, a laptop computer, an application server, a proxy server, or a cloud server, but is not limited to these; all types of devices with computing capabilities can be included in the computing device.

User terminal 120 can be a terminal for a user utilizing an e-commerce service platform. User terminal 120 can display the application user interface page, which provides platform-related functions to the product processing device 110, on its display. Furthermore, user terminal 120 can obtain user input from the user regarding the page and transmit that input to the product processing device 110, thereby performing defined actions in a manner corresponding to the user input. As described above, a web browser or application can be configured on user terminal 120 to enable users to use the e-commerce service platform. Such a user terminal 120 may be any of the following devices: desktop computer, laptop computer, tablet computer, wearable device, or smartphone, but is not limited thereto; any type of device with computing capabilities may be a user terminal 120.

The product handling device 110 and user terminal 120 shown in Figure 1 can communicate via a network. This network can be any type of wired or wireless network, such as a Local Area Network (LAN), a Wide Area Network (WAN), a Mobile Radio Communication Network (MRCN), or WiBro (Wireless Broadband).

Figure 2 illustrates a computing device 200 that can implement one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus 110, 120. In the present invention, the computing device 200 can be interchanged with an electronic device. Referring to Figure 1, the commodity handling apparatus 110 or user terminal 120 described above can be implemented by the computing device 200.

The computing device 200 may include one or more processors 210, one or more memory units 220, or communication interfaces 230. In one embodiment, some components may be deleted from the computing device 200 or other components (e.g., a display or input device) may be added to the computing device 200. Furthermore, some components may be additionally or alternatively integrated to implement, or implemented as a single or multiple entities. In this invention, one or more processors 210 may be referred to as processor 210. Unless otherwise expressly used herein, the term processor 210 may refer to one or more processors. Also, in this invention, one or more memory units 220 may be referred to as memory 220. If not explicitly stated in the text as having a different meaning, the term "memory 220" may refer to a collection of one or more memories.

The components shown in Figure 2 will be explained in more detail below.

The processor 210 can perform calculations or information processing related to the control or communication of the various components of the computing device 200. Specifically, the processor 210 can drive software (or computer programs) received from other components to control at least one component of the computing device 200 connected to the processor 210. As an example, the processor 210 can load commands (e.g., instructions, codes, or segments) or information into memory 220, process the commands or information stored in memory 220, and store the result information of the processing in memory 220. Furthermore, the processor 210 can be operatively connected to the components of the computing device 200 to perform various actions related to the present invention, such as calculation, processing, generation, or fabrication.

Memory 220 can store various information. The information stored in memory 220 is information acquired, processed, or used by at least one component of computing device 200, and may include software. The software may include one or more commands that, when loaded into memory 220, cause processor 210 to perform actions of various embodiments of the present invention. That is, processor 210 can perform actions of various embodiments of the present invention by executing one or more commands as described above. Memory 220 may include, for example, volatile or non-volatile memory. In one embodiment, the program is software stored in memory 220, which may include an operating system for controlling the resources of computing device 200, an application, or intermediary software that provides various functions to the application so that the application can use the resources of computing device 200.

The communication interface 230 can establish wired or wireless communication channels with other devices to send and receive various information. In one embodiment, the communication interface 230, in order to conduct wired communication with other devices, may include at least one port for connecting to other devices via a wired cable. In this case, the communication interface 230 can communicate with other wired devices through at least one port. In one embodiment, the communication interface 230 can be configured to include a cellular communication module connected to a cellular network (e.g., 3G (3rd Generation Mobile Communication Technology), LTE (Long Term Evolution), 5G (5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology), Wibro (Wireless Broadband), or WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access)). In another embodiment, the communication interface 230 may include a near-field communication module to use near-field communication (e.g., Wi-Fi (Wireless-Fidelity), Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), UWB (Ultra Wide Band)) to transmit and receive information with other devices. In one embodiment, the communication interface 230 may include a contactless communication module for contactless communication. Contactless communication may include, for example, at least one contactless short-range communication technology such as NFC (Near Field Communication), RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), or MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). In addition to the examples described above, the computing device 200 can also be implemented in various known ways for communicating with other devices, and the scope of the invention is not limited to the examples described above.

In one embodiment, the computing device 200 may include a display. The display may display various screens (e.g., more than one page) under the control of the processor 210. To display screens with various interfaces, a web browser or dedicated application may be set on the computing device 200, for example. Furthermore, the display may be configured to interact with a user and receive user input. Such a display may be implemented as a touch sensor panel (TSP) that recognizes the touch or proximity of various external objects (e.g., a user's finger or pen tip).

In one embodiment, computing device 200 may include an input device (e.g., a mouse or keyboard). The input device may receive information from outside computing device 200 (e.g., a user) that will be used in the components of computing device 200.

The processor 210, memory 220 and communication interface 230 shown in Figure 2 can be connected to each other to send and receive information or signals via buses, GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output), SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) or MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface).

The methods of various embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. It should be noted that although the actions are illustrated in a specific order in the following diagrams, it is not necessary to perform the actions in the specific order or sequential order shown in the diagrams, or it is not necessary to perform all the actions shown in the diagrams, in order to obtain the desired result.

Furthermore, the actions of the method described below with reference to the accompanying drawings can be performed by a computing device. In other words, the actions of the method can be implemented as one or more instructions executed by the processor of the computing device. All actions included in this method can be performed by a physical computing device, but the first action of the method can also be performed by a first computing device, and the second action of the method can be performed by a second computing device.

The following description assumes that the user terminal 120 shown in FIG1 performs the actions described above. However, since the user terminal 120 performs the actions of the method by interacting with the product handling device 110, the actions of the product handling device 110 corresponding to the actions performed by the user terminal 120 are not excluded from the scope of this invention. For example, the action of displaying the screen as an action performed by the user terminal 120 is in other words the action performed by the product handling device 110, and can also be understood as the action of transmitting display information of the screen displayed by the user terminal 120 to the user terminal 120. Furthermore, for ease of explanation, the subject of the action included in the method may be omitted, but if it is not expressed in the text as having a different meaning, it should be interpreted as the action being performed by the user terminal 120.

Figure 3 shows a sequence diagram illustrating a product processing method according to one embodiment of the present invention. The method shown in Figure 3 can be understood as a series of actions related to the display of products of the category selected by the user. The actions shown in Figure 3 will be explained in detail below.

The first category button, representing the first category, can be displayed on the first page (action S310). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the merchandise handling device 110 for displaying the first page including the first category button, and display the first page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

Category 1 can refer to a category that represents the type of goods. When the target category of e-commerce services is food, for example, Category 1 could include fruits, lean meat, eggs, ready-to-eat foods, refrigerated and frozen foods, light meals, cooked foods, salads, canned goods, instant rice, noodles, seafood, dried seafood, kimchi, side dishes, rice, grains, baked goods, baby food, soy sauce, seasonings, sauces, coffee, beverages, milk, dairy products, vegetables, or health foods, etc. When the target category of e-commerce services is sporting goods, for example, Category 1 could include footballs, basketballs, baseballs, volleyballs, tennis balls, golf, hiking equipment, or swimming equipment, etc. Apart from the examples above, any category that can represent the type of goods can be classified as Category 1 of this invention.

The Category 1 button can be a button on the application's user interface screen (e.g., page 1) that corresponds to Category 1. If the user selects a Category 1 button, the corresponding action can be performed on the user terminal 120 according to the defined actions. For example, if Category 1 is fruit, and the user selects the Category 1 button corresponding to that category, namely the fruit category button, then the page displayed on the user terminal 120 can be changed from page 1 to a page displaying fruit-related products (e.g., page 2).

Regarding the shape of the Category 1 button, in one embodiment, the Category 1 button may include a thumbnail corresponding to Category 1. The thumbnail is an image representing the Category 1 button and may be any image among the images of goods in Category 1. For example, when the Category 1 button is a fruit category button, the strawberry image among the images of goods related to fruits in Category 1 may be a thumbnail of the fruit category button.

Regarding thumbnails, in one embodiment, a thumbnail may be an image of any of the second target products, which will be described in detail later. The second target products are those that users are more likely to purchase, so by defining the thumbnail as an image of any of the second target products, users can be more actively guided to make a purchase.

Page 1 refers to the platform's home screen, which can be the screen that is displayed by default on the user terminal 120's display when a web browser or application is connected. To avoid repetition, a detailed explanation of Page 1 (i.e., the home screen) will be provided later with reference to Figure 5.

The user terminal 120 can obtain the first user input of the user selecting the first category button on the first page (action S320). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can obtain the first user input of the user selecting the first category button and transmit the first user input to the product handling device 110.

The first user input is a specific trigger that initiates a specific response on the user interface and can refer to input from a user on user terminal 120. For example, the first user input could represent input from a user selecting the first category button. If the first user input is entered on user terminal 120, an action corresponding to the first user input can be performed on user terminal 120 according to defined actions. For example, if the first category button is a fruit category button, and input selecting that fruit category button is entered as the first user input into user terminal 120, the page displayed on user terminal 120 can be changed from page 1 to a page displaying fruit-related products (e.g., page 2).

The device can respond to the input of the first user and determine that the type of goods corresponding to the first category button includes one or more first target goods (action S330). The user terminal 120 can perform this action automatically, but the scope of the invention is not limited thereto. The action can also be performed by the goods processing device 110 and the user terminal 120 can obtain the result of determining the first target goods from the goods processing device 110.

The first object product can refer to the product in the first category that corresponds to the first category button. For example, if the first category button is a fruit category button and the first category is fruit, then the first object product can be a product related to fruit (e.g., strawberries, grapes, apples, etc.).

Regarding the action S330 for determining the first target product, in one embodiment, the action S330 for determining the first target product can be implemented by referring to a predefined label indicating the relationship between the first category button (or the first category) and the first target product. Specifically, the relationship between the first category button and the first target product can be defined by assigning labels indicating the type of product to the products that can be traded on the platform.

Regarding the classification of the first object product, in one embodiment, the first object product may be classified into a second category at a different level from the first category. The second category is a category based on a different criterion than the type of product, such as a category determined based on the discount rate of the product, the discount period of the product, or at least a part of the purchase history of the product. For more specific examples, Category 2 could include products with a discount rate of N% or higher (N being a positive real number), products with a remaining discount period of M days or less (M being a natural number), products with a remaining discount quantity of L or less (L being a natural number), products with a remaining shelf life of P days or less (P being a natural number), products purchased by a user K or more times (K being a natural number), products purchased by a user Y or more times within the most recent X days (X and Y being natural numbers), products purchased by a specific user group on the platform A or more times (A being a natural number), products purchased by a specific user group on the platform C or more times within the most recent B days (B and C being natural numbers), etc. A user group can refer to a collection of multiple users utilizing the platform. For example, a user group could refer to a collection including users utilizing user terminal 120. In addition to the examples described above, the act of classifying goods that can be traded on the platform according to any different criteria may be included in this invention, and the act of classifying goods according to three or more levels may be included within the scope of this invention.

One or more first target products can be displayed on a second page that is distinct from the first page (action S340). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying a second page that includes one or more first target products, and display the second page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

Page 2 is a page that displays the products included in the product category corresponding to the first category button selected by the user, and may refer to the screen displayed on the user terminal 120.

Thus, according to the method described with reference to Figure 3, the type of goods desired by the user can be displayed on the display of the user terminal 120. Specifically, the user selects the first category button on the first page, thereby switching the screen to a second page displaying the first target product associated with the first category button. In particular, the second page emphasizes products that the user is more likely to purchase (e.g., the second target product selected from the first target product in a manner corresponding to the second category), thereby guiding the user to make a purchase. The related actions will be explained below with reference to Figure 4.

Figure 4 shows a sequence diagram illustrating the detailed actions of the display action S340 of the second page as described with reference to Figure 3. Action S400 in Figure 4 can be understood as the display action S340 of the second page in Figure 3.

One or more second target products selected from the first target products in a manner corresponding to the second category can be displayed in a special area of the second page (action S410). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying a second page including one or more second target products, and display the second page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

The second category of goods can be represented as goods selected from the first category in a manner corresponding to the second category. For example, if the first category is fruit and the second category is goods that the user has purchased more than 10 times, then the second category of goods can be fruit-related goods that the user has purchased more than 10 times. Another example is that if the first category is fruit and the second category is goods with a discount rate of 10% or more, then the second category of goods can be fruit-related goods with a discount rate of 10% or more.

Special areas are areas displayed on the second page of the screen. These areas may be those that emphasize products that users are more likely to purchase, i.e., the second target products.

Therefore, according to the method described with reference to Figure 4, products that the user is more likely to purchase can be displayed as a special area on the display of the screen showing the types of products the user wants (i.e., page 2). Hereinafter, page 1 or page 2 as described in Figures 3 and 4 will be explained with reference to Figures 5 to 7.

Figure 5 shows a first page 500 that can be referenced in various embodiments of the present invention. As mentioned above, the first page 500 can be understood as the home screen of the platform.

Page 1, 500 may include a first area 510, which includes a group of category buttons, including a first category button 511 and one or more category buttons representing a category at the same level as the first category. The first area 510 may include an enlargement button 512 to increase the width of the first area 510. Furthermore, the first area 510 may be an area that sequentially displays the category buttons included in the group of category buttons in response to user input (e.g., swipe input). That is, all actions used to display a plurality of objects (e.g., category buttons) in a designated area are included within the scope of this invention, and those skilled in the art can apply such actions to a component of the icon included in this invention. To avoid repetition, the expansion of the category button group including the first category button 511 and the first area 510 based on the expanded button 512 will be explained later with reference to Figures 8 to 10.

Furthermore, page 1 500 may include a second area 520, which includes a details button 521 for displaying a product group that includes one or more second target products. A product group may refer to the total collection of products (e.g., second target products) selected in a manner corresponding to the second category from products in a category (e.g., the first category) that corresponds to the product type (e.g., the first target product). For example, if the platform's target category is food and the second category consists of products with a discount rate of 10% or more, then a product group may refer to the total collection of products with a discount rate of 10% or more that can be traded on the platform. For example, if the platform's target product category is food and the second category consists of products that users have purchased more than 10 times, then the product group can refer to the total collection of products that users have purchased more than 10 times among the products that can be traded on the platform. To avoid repetition, the details button 521 included in the second area 520 will be explained later with reference to Figures 11 to 13.

Furthermore, page 1 500 may include one or more search bars 530, one or more advertising areas 540, and one or more product display areas 550. Search bars 530 can be understood as areas used to search for products traded on the platform. Advertising areas 540 can be understood as areas used for advertising products traded on or related to the platform. Product display areas 550 are areas displaying products traded on the platform and may include a shopping cart button 552, which moves product images 551 and corresponding products to the shopping cart page.

This concludes the description of page 1 500 with reference to FIG. 5. It should be noted that page 1 500 shown in FIG. 5 is illustrative for the purpose of clearly illustrating the technical concept of the present invention and does not limit the scope of the present invention. Therefore, variations in the size, arrangement, or shape of the constituent elements included in page 1 500 of FIG. 5, deletion of constituent elements included in page 1 500 of FIG. 5, or examples of including other constituent elements in page 1 500 of FIG. 5 may also be included within the scope of the present invention.

Figure 6 illustrates a second page that can be referenced in various embodiments of the present invention. As described above, the second page 600 can be understood as a page for displaying goods included in the category of goods corresponding to the first category button selected by the user. According to Figure 6, the second page 600 is a page triggered by the selection of the canned/instant rice/noodle category button, and can be understood as a page for displaying goods related to canned/instant rice/noodles.

Page 2 600 may include a third area 610, which includes a group of category buttons. The third area 610 can be understood as a similar area to the first area 510 of page 1 500. If a user selects a category button included in the third area 610, the page can be switched to display a product page corresponding to the selected category button. For example, if a page displaying products related to canned/instant rice/noodles is shown on the user terminal 120's display and the user selects a fruit category button included in the third area 610, the page can be switched to display a page showing fruit-related products corresponding to the fruit category button on the user terminal 120's display.

Furthermore, page 2, 600 may include a fourth area, 620. The fourth area, 620, may include subcategory buttons that correspond to subcategories that are at a different level from the first category and are categories based on similarity to the type of goods. For example, if the first category is fruit, then subcategories could be strawberries, grapes, or apples. Another example is that if the first category is canned/instant rice/noodles, then subcategories could be instant noodles/cup noodles, noodles/pasta, or tuna/ham/canned goods. That is, in order to display products that better match the user's intentions on the second page selected according to the user's intentions, the sub-category button can be included in the fourth area 620 so that the sub-category related to the first category can be selected.

Furthermore, page 600 may include a special area 630 for displaying one or more second target products. For example, as shown in Figure 6, this can be achieved by displaying products related to canned/instant rice/noodles that the user has purchased more than once in the special area 630. The second target products displayed in the special area 630 may include a purchase history identifier 631 or a discount rate identifier 632.

Regarding the display order of goods in special area 630, in one embodiment, the display order of the second target goods in special area 630 may be determined based on at least a portion of the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history corresponding to each of the second target goods. For example, it may be set that the higher the discount rate of the second target goods, the earlier they are displayed; or the less the discount period of the second target goods remains, the earlier they are displayed; or the more times the user has purchased the second target goods, the earlier they are displayed. Although not illustrated, any example of displaying goods that the user is more likely to purchase based on at least a portion of the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history of each of the second target goods may be arbitrarily included within the scope of the invention.

Furthermore, page 2 600 may include a general area 640 for displaying one or more first object products. For example, the general area 640 may display products that are included in the first object products but not in the second object products. As another example, the general area 640 may display products that are included in the first object products.

Regarding the display order of goods in the general area 640, in one embodiment, the display order of the first target goods in the general area 640 may be determined based on at least a portion of the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history corresponding to each of the first target goods. For example, it may be set that the higher the discount rate of the first target goods, the earlier they are displayed; or the less the discount period of the first target goods remains, the earlier they are displayed; or the more times the user has purchased the first target goods, the earlier they are displayed. Although not illustrated, any example of displaying goods that the user is more likely to purchase based on at least a portion of the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history of each of the first target goods may be arbitrarily included within the scope of the invention.

Regarding the structure of page 2 600, in one embodiment, a special area 630 may be displayed above the general area 640 within page 2 600. According to this embodiment, the second target product included in the special area 630 may be a product that the user is more likely to purchase than the first target product included in the general area 640 within the first category selected by the user. Therefore, the special area 630 may be displayed in a location that is more easily identifiable to the user (e.g., at the top).

Figure 7 shows a variation of the special area 630 as illustrated in Figure 6. Specifically, if the special area 630 in Figure 6 is the area based on the purchase history of the second target product, then the special area 700 in Figure 7 may refer to the area based on the discount rate or the discount period of the second target product.

The special area 700 may include a button 710 corresponding to the discount period and a button 720 corresponding to the discount rate. If the user selects the button 710 corresponding to the discount period, the second target product 730 can be arranged according to the discount period-related criteria. If the user selects the button 720 corresponding to the discount rate, the second target product can be arranged according to the discount rate-related criteria. The second target product 730 shown in Figure 7 may include a discount rate identification code 731 or a discount period identification code 732.

Thus far, page 2, 600, and special area 700 have been described with reference to Figures 6 and 7. It should be noted that Figures 6 and 7 are illustrative for the purpose of clearly illustrating the technical concept of the present invention and do not limit the scope of the present invention. Therefore, examples of changing the size, arrangement, or shape of the constituent elements included in page 2, 600 of Figure 6 or special area 700 of Figure 7, deleting the constituent elements included in page 2, 600 of Figure 6 or special area 700 of Figure 7, or including other constituent elements in page 2, 600 of Figure 6 or special area 700 of Figure 7, may also be included within the scope of the present invention.

Figure 8 shows a sequence diagram illustrating the detailed actions of the first page display action S310 as described with reference to Figure 3. Action S800 in Figure 8 can be understood as the first page display action S310 in Figure 3.

Category buttons can be displayed in the first area of the first page (action S810). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying the first page including the first area, and display the first page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

A category button group may include a first category button and one or more category buttons representing a category at the same level as the first category. For example, a category button group may include a fruit category button, a seafood category button, a lean meat category button, or a health food category button, etc.

The first area is the area that displays the category button group, and may further include the enlarge button as illustrated in Figure 5. The operation of displaying multiple buttons on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the enlarge button will be explained with reference to Figure 9.

Figure 9 shows a sequence diagram illustrating the detailed actions of the display action S810 of the first area as described with reference to Figure 8. The action S900 in Figure 9 can be understood as the display action S810 of the first area in Figure 8.

An enlarge button to expand the width of the first area can be displayed in the first area (action S910). The enlarge button can be a button that expands the width of the first area of the application user interface screen (e.g., the first page). If the user selects the enlarge button, an action corresponding to the enlarge button can be performed in the user terminal 120 according to the defined action. For example, the width of the first area can be expanded. As another example, at least a portion of the plurality of buttons included in the category button group can be displayed in the enlarged first area.

A second user input (action S920) can be obtained from the user who selected the enlarge button. The second user input is a specific trigger that triggers a specific response of the user interface and can refer to the input of the user on the user terminal 120. For example, the second user input can represent the input of the user who selected the enlarge button. If the second user input is entered on the user terminal 120, the action corresponding to the second user input can be performed on the user terminal 120 according to the defined action.

The width of the first area can be expanded and displayed on the first page in response to input from the second user (action S930). That is, the width of the first area can be understood as being expanded within the first page, displayed on the first page and overlapping with other areas, so that the expanded part of the first area can be displayed.

At least a portion of the plurality of buttons included in the category button group can be displayed in the widened first area (action S940). That is, a plurality of category buttons can be displayed in the widened first area. In one embodiment, all category buttons can be displayed in the widened first area. In another embodiment, a portion of the category buttons can be displayed in the widened first area, while another portion of the category buttons cannot be displayed in the widened first area.

Regarding the display order of category buttons within the expanded first area, in one embodiment, the display order may be determined based on the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history of the goods corresponding to each of the plurality of buttons included in the category button group. For example, the display order of category buttons in a category button group can be determined based on the average discount rate of the product corresponding to each category button, the discount rate of the representative product corresponding to each category button, the average of the remaining discount period of the product corresponding to each category button, the remaining discount period of the representative product corresponding to each category button, the average number of purchases of the product corresponding to each category button, or the number of purchases of the representative product corresponding to each category button.

Figure 10 illustrates an enlarged first area 1000 that can be referenced in various embodiments of the present invention. As described above, the enlarged first area 1000 may display more than one category button 1020. Furthermore, the enlarged first area 1000 may include a shrink button 1010 defined to perform the opposite function to the enlarge button. If the user selects the shrink button 1010, the first area 1000 may shrink to its original width before enlargement. Furthermore, the category button 1020 shown in Figure 10 may include a thumbnail 1021.

The first area and its expansion and contraction have now been explained with reference to Figures 8 to 10. The category button group included in the first area can be a tool for a user interface that makes it easy for users to select desired products.

Figure 11 shows a sequence diagram illustrating a product processing method according to one embodiment of the present invention. The method shown in Figure 11 can be understood as a series of actions related to the display of products of the category selected by the user. The actions shown in Figure 11 will be explained in detail below.

A button for displaying details of a product group including one or more second target products can be displayed in the second area of the first page (action S1110). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying the first page including the second area, and display the first page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

As described above, a product group can refer to the total collection of products selected from a category (e.g., Category 1) corresponding to the type of product (e.g., Category 1 products) in a manner corresponding to Category 2 (e.g., Category 2 products). For example, a product group may include one or more products selected from one or more products included in Category 3 at the same level as Category 1 in a manner corresponding to Category 2. More specifically, if Category 1 is fruit, Category 2 is a category with a discount rate of 10% or more, and Category 3 is lean meat, then products related to fruit with a discount rate of 10% or more and products related to lean meat with a discount rate of 10% or more may be included in the product group.

The details button may be a button corresponding to Category 2 of the application user interface screen (e.g., page 1). If the user selects the details button, the corresponding action can be performed on the user terminal 120 according to the defined action. For example, if Category 2 is a limited-time promotion (i.e., a category related to a discount period) and the user selects the details button corresponding to that category, the page displayed on the user terminal 120 can be changed from page 1 to a page displaying products related to the limited-time promotion (e.g., page 3). For example, if Category 2 is on sale (i.e., the category related to discount rates) and the user selects the details button corresponding to that category, the page displayed on user terminal 120 can be changed from page 1 to a page displaying products related to the sale (e.g., page 3). As yet another example, if Category 2 is frequently purchased products (i.e., the category related to purchase history) and the user selects the details button corresponding to that category, the page displayed on user terminal 120 can be changed from page 1 to a page displaying products related to frequently purchased products (e.g., page 3).

Regarding the shape of the details button, in one embodiment, the details button may include an image representing the number of items included in the product group. For example, if the product group corresponding to frequently purchased items includes 10 items, the details button may include an image displaying the text "10". According to this embodiment, users can easily understand the number of individual items in the product group corresponding to the details button.

The second area can be the area that displays the details button for the product group, as illustrated in Figure 5.

A third user input can be obtained from the user who selects the details button (action S1120). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can obtain the third user input from the user who selects the details button and transmit the third user input to the product handling device 110.

The third user input is a specific trigger that triggers a specific response on the user interface and can refer to input from a user on user terminal 120. For example, the third user input can represent input from a user selecting a details button. If the third user input is entered on user terminal 120, an action corresponding to the third user input can be performed on user terminal 120 according to the defined action. For example, if the details button corresponds to a frequently purchased item and the input of the details button is selected as the third user input to the user terminal 120, the page displayed on the user terminal 120 can be changed from the first page to a page displaying items related to the frequently purchased item (e.g., the third page).

The third page can display at least a portion of the plurality of products included in the product group in response to input from the third user (action S1130). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying the third page, which includes at least a portion of the plurality of products included in the product group, and display the third page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

Page 3 is used to display the product corresponding to the details button selected by the user, which may refer to the screen displayed on the user terminal 120.

Regarding the display order of multiple items included in the product group on page 3, in one embodiment, the display order may be determined based on the discount rate, discount period, or purchase history of each of the multiple items. For example, the display order of multiple items on page 3 may be determined based on the discount rate, remaining discount period, or number of purchases of each of the multiple items included in the product group.

Figure 12 shows a third page 1200, which can be referenced in various embodiments of the present invention. As described above, the third page 1200 can be understood as a page for displaying the product corresponding to the details button selected by the user.

Page 3 1200 may include a fifth area 1210, which includes a group of category buttons. The fifth area 1210 can be understood as a similar area to the first area 510 of page 1 500. If a user selects a category button included in the fifth area 1210, the user terminal 120 may display products in the category corresponding to the selected category button from the products corresponding to the details button. For example, if the details button is a frequently purchased product button and the category button is a fruit category button, then fruit-related products corresponding to the frequently purchased product button may be displayed in the product display area 1220.

Furthermore, page 3 1200 may include a product display area 1220. The product display area 1220 is an area that displays products corresponding to the details button or category button, and may include more than one product 1221.

Figure 13 shows a variation of the third page as illustrated in Figure 12. Specifically, if the third page 1200 of Figure 12 is based on frequently purchased products, then the third page 1300 of Figure 13 can be based on limited-time promotions or discounts.

Page 3, 1300 may include a button area 1310. This button area may include a button 1311 corresponding to a limited-time promotion and a button 1312 corresponding to a discount. If the user selects button 1311 corresponding to a limited-time promotion, multiple items in the product group may be arranged according to a criteria related to the limited-time promotion; if the user selects button 1312 corresponding to a discount, multiple items in the product group may be arranged according to a criteria related to the discount. The products displayed in product display area 1330 on page 3, 1300, as shown in Figure 13, may include identification codes 1332 and 1333 related to limited-time promotions.

Furthermore, page 3 1300 may include a sixth area 1320 as illustrated with reference to Figure 12, which includes a group of category buttons. The sixth area 1320 can be understood as the area corresponding to the fifth area 1210.

Furthermore, page 3 1300 may include a product display area 1330 as illustrated with reference to Figure 12. In one embodiment, the product display area 1330 may include a filter button 1331, which may be configured to display products more suitable for the user. If the user selects the filter button 1331, a settings window for making filter settings may be displayed in a specific area of page 3 1300.

This concludes the explanation of page 3 with reference to Figures 11 to 13. Page 3 can be understood as a screen that allows users to identify products they are more likely to purchase, regardless of the type of product. That is, as illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, users can select a specific category button to confirm, on the screen displaying the products corresponding to that category button (e.g., the first target product) (e.g., on page 2), the products that the user is more likely to purchase (e.g., the second target product). Additionally, users can directly select a specific details button on the homepage screen (e.g., on page 1) to confirm, on the screen displaying the product group corresponding to that details button (e.g., on page 3), the products that the user is more likely to purchase.

Figure 14 shows a sequence diagram illustrating a product processing method according to one embodiment of the present invention. The method shown in Figure 14 can be understood as a series of actions related to moving the product the user wishes to purchase (e.g., selecting a product) to the shopping cart screen (e.g., page 4). The actions shown in Figure 14 will be explained in detail below.

The system can obtain the fourth user input from the user who moved the selected item to the fourth page (action S1410). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can obtain the fourth user input from the user who moved the selected item to the fourth page and transmit the fourth user input to the product processing device 110.

Selecting a product refers to the item the user wishes to purchase. Page 4 is a page displaying the product selected by the user, which can be understood as a shopping cart screen displayed on the user's terminal 120. The series of actions by which the user selects a product and moves it to the shopping cart screen can be referenced in various e-commerce services.

The fourth user input is a specific trigger that initiates a specific response on the user interface and can refer to input from a user on user terminal 120. For example, the fourth user input could refer to input from a user who moves a selected item to the fourth page. If the fourth user input is entered into user terminal 120, an action corresponding to the fourth user input can be performed on user terminal 120 according to defined actions. For example, the page displayed on user terminal 120 can be changed from a specific page displaying selected items (e.g., page 1, page 2, page 3) to a shopping cart screen (e.g., page 4).

The selected product can be displayed on the fourth page in response to the fourth user input (action S1420). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying the fourth page related to the selected product, and display the fourth page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

Figure 15 shows a sequence diagram of the detailed actions of displaying page 4 as described with reference to Figure 14. Action S1500 in Figure 15 can be understood as the display action S1420 of page 4 in Figure 14.

One or more recommended products related to the selected product can be displayed in the recommendation area of the fourth page (action S1510). Specifically, the user terminal 120 can receive display information from the product processing device 110 for displaying the fourth page including the recommendation area, and display the fourth page on the display of the user terminal 120 based on the display information.

Recommended products can refer to products related to the selected product. For example, it can refer to other products included in the same formula as the selected product. Another example is products that have been purchased together with the selected product based on the user's purchase history. Yet another example is products that have been purchased together with the selected product based on the purchase history of a specific user group that includes the user.

The recommended area is the area displayed on the screen of page 4. It can refer to the area that highlights the products that users are more likely to purchase along with the selected products, i.e., recommended products.

Figure 16 illustrates page 4 1600, which can be referenced in various embodiments of the present invention. As described above, page 4 1600 can be understood as a shopping cart screen displaying selected items chosen by the user. Page 4 1600 can also be understood as a page for displaying a recommendation area that shows recommended items related to the selected items.

Page 4 1600 may include a 7th area 1610, which includes a group of category buttons. The 7th area 1610 can be understood as an area similar to the 1st area 510 of page 1 500. If the user selects a category button included in the 7th area 1610, the user terminal 120 may switch from page 4 1600 to a page (e.g., page 2) for displaying products in the category corresponding to the category button.

Furthermore, page 4, 1600 may include a referral area, 1620. As mentioned above, the referral area, 1620 may be implemented by referring to the user's purchase history or by including the purchase history of a specific user group of the user.

Figure 17 shows a variation of the recommended area 1620 as illustrated in Figure 16. Specifically, if the recommended area 1620 in Figure 16 is based on purchase history, then the recommended area 1700 in Figure 17 can be based on the formula.

The recommended area 1700 may include a recipe selection area 1710. The recipe selection area 1710 may be an area that displays one or more recipes related to the selected product. Figure 17 shows an example of selecting garlic olive oil as one of the recipes related to garlic (i.e., the selected product) based on user input (e.g., user input number 5).

Furthermore, the recommended area 1700 may include a category selection area 1720 for recommended products. The category selection area 1720 can be understood as an area that includes category buttons for selecting the type of recommended product related to the selected recipe. For example, if garlic olive oil is selected as the recipe and oil is selected as the category button, then oils related to the garlic olive oil recipe can be displayed in the product display area 1730.

Furthermore, the recommended area 1700 may include the product display area 1730. The product display area 1730 can be understood as the area that displays recommended products.

Figure 18 shows a variation of the recommended area 1620 as illustrated in Figure 16. Specifically, if the recommended area 1620 in Figure 16 is a region based on purchase history, then the recommended area 1800 in Figure 18 can be a region that recommends multiple purchase combinations based on the purchase history of a user group.

This concludes the explanation of page 4 with reference to Figures 14 to 18. Page 4 displays a shopping cart screen showing items the user intends to purchase. It may include a recommended area for related products. In other words, it enhances user convenience by allowing users to directly select items they intend to buy, and it guides users to make purchases by recommending items they haven't considered.

Various embodiments of the present invention can be implemented in the form of software in a machine-readable storage medium (MRSM). The software can be the software used to implement the various embodiments of the present invention. Programmers in the art to which the present invention pertains can infer the software based on the various embodiments of the present invention. For example, the software can be a computer program that includes machine-readable commands. A computing device is a device that can act according to commands invoked from the storage medium, and can be represented, for example, interchangeably with an electronic device. In one embodiment, the processor of the computing device executes the invoked command, thereby enabling the components of the computing device to perform the function corresponding to that command.
