Abstract

This invention provides an electronic device and a method of operating the same, the electronic device confirming an item selected by a user; confirming information on the delivery method applicable to the item; when the delivery method applicable to the item is the first delivery method of delivery to an item storage facility, providing information on candidate item storage facilities based on user information; confirming information on the item storage facility selected from the candidate item storage facilities based on the user's first input; and providing delivery information for the item based on the selected item storage facility.

Description

Delivery information provision methods and devices

This invention relates to a method and apparatus for providing delivery information.

With the development of information and communication technology, the e-commerce market has grown rapidly and has secured a place in the shopping sector. Customers can use electronic devices to purchase goods online and have them delivered to their desired location. Therefore, intermediary services—facilitating transactions between sellers and buyers and providing delivery services—have become increasingly active.

In this typical delivery method for intermediary services, purchased items are delivered directly to the user's designated address (e.g., home or workplace). The recipient can then collect the items at that address. However, this standard delivery method may present a problem where the items arrive at the designated address but the recipient is unavailable to collect them.

To solve the above problems, purchased items can be temporarily and securely stored in a vault near a location where the recipient can collect their items (e.g., a convenience store, coffee shop). The recipient can then retrieve their items directly from the vault during the storage period. This method of delivery to the vault offers advantages in terms of saving time and costs, as items to be delivered to multiple recipients in the vicinity can be centralized there. Therefore, users of the buying and selling intermediary service can choose either the vault delivery method or the regular delivery method. When delivery is made according to the user's chosen method, a delivery information plan needs to be provided to the user or recipient.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a method and apparatus for displaying to a user whether goods can be delivered to a storage facility, providing information for the user to choose between regular delivery and storage facility delivery, and providing information on storage facilities where goods can be picked up when the user chooses storage facility delivery.

The technical problems to be solved by this invention are not limited to those described above; other technical problems can be derived based on the following examples.

According to one embodiment, a method for providing delivery information for an electronic device may include the following steps: confirming the item selected by the user; confirming information on the delivery methods applicable to the item; when the delivery method applied to the item is the first delivery method (delivery to a storage facility), providing candidate storage facility information based on the user's information; confirming information on the storage facility selected from the candidate storage facilities based on the user's first input; and providing delivery information for the item based on the selected storage facility.

Furthermore, the method for providing delivery information may include the following steps: when the delivery method for the item application is the second delivery method, which involves delivery to the address specified by the user, the selected address is confirmed based on the address entered by the user, and delivery information for the item is provided based on the selected address.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: when the shipment includes items that cannot be delivered via the second delivery method, providing information related to those items that cannot be delivered via the second delivery method.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information on the ratio of the item's price to the minimum amount required for free delivery using the applicable delivery method.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information on the first delivery method when the price of the item is within the range of the first minimum amount required for free delivery of the first delivery method applicable to the item, but not within the range of the second minimum amount required for free delivery of the second delivery method applicable to the item.

Furthermore, methods for providing delivery information may include the following steps: confirming the delivery method information for the last completed order based on order history information.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: confirming the location of the item storage facility and the distance between it and the location corresponding to the user's address information; and providing information related to the item storage facility based on the distance.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information related to the storage location of the item at a distance below a preset distance.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information related to multiple item storage locations in ascending order of distance.

Furthermore, methods for providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information related to the item's storage location based on order history information.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: confirming the operating hours of the selected storage facility; estimating the arrival time of the item at the selected storage facility; and providing the estimated pick-up time of the item based on the estimated arrival time and operating hours.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing delivery tracking information for the item, including arrival information at the selected storage location.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: providing information related to the period during which the items are stored at the selected storage facility.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: confirming the receipt status of the item; and, if the receipt status is unclaimed, providing at least one piece of information related to the period during which the item was stored in the storage facility.

Furthermore, the method of providing delivery information may include the following steps: confirming the recipient's information and providing the recipient's information to the selected item storage facility.

Furthermore, an electronic device may include: memory storing at least one program; and a processor that, by executing the at least one program, confirms the item selected by the user and confirms information on the applicable delivery method for the item; when the delivery method for the item is the first delivery method of delivery to a storage facility, provides information on candidate storage facilities based on user information; confirms information on the storage facility selected from the candidate storage facilities based on the user's first input; and provides delivery information for the item based on the selected storage facility.

Furthermore, a non-temporary computer-readable recording medium is provided, which can record programs used to perform the aforementioned actions on a computer.

Specific details of other embodiments are provided in the detailed description and diagrams.

According to this invention, since information on different delivery methods is provided, users can confirm the information on different delivery methods and select their preferred delivery method from among them.

Furthermore, according to this invention, by providing information on the free shipping conditions and delivery rates for each shipping method, it effectively guides users to purchase more items or choose other shipping methods to meet the free shipping conditions.

Furthermore, according to this invention, when a user chooses a storage facility for their belongings, nearby storage facilities can be recommended to the user, thereby providing convenience.

Furthermore, according to this invention, since the arrival time of the user's ordered goods at the storage facility is estimated based on the facility's operating hours, it provides a more accurate estimated pickup time.

Furthermore, according to this invention, it guides users or recipients to retrieve items from the storage facility, thereby assisting the recipient in retrieving the items during the storage period.

The effects of the invention are not limited to those mentioned above. Those skilled in the art will clearly understand other unmentioned effects based on the description in the scope of the patent application.

The following describes embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Figure 1 is an exemplary and simplified block diagram of an electronic device 100 that can be used to perform at least one embodiment of the present invention. In various embodiments, the electronic device 100 can be used to implement any system or method described in the present invention. For example, the electronic device 100 can be configured as any electronic device including a data server, web server, portable computing device, personal computer, tablet computer, workstation, mobile phone, smartphone, or any other device described below.

Electronic device 100 may include memory 120 and one or more processors 110, the processors 110 having one or more caches and memory controllers configured to communicate with memory 120. Furthermore, electronic device 100 may include other devices connectable to electronic device 100 via one or more ports (e.g., USB (Universal Serial Bus), headphone jack, Lightning connector, Thunderbolt connector, etc.). Devices connectable to electronic device 100 may include a plurality of ports configured to accommodate fiber optic connectors. The configuration of the illustrated electronic device 100 is merely a specific example to illustrate a preferred embodiment of the device. In the illustrated electronic device 100, only the components relevant to this embodiment are shown. Therefore, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that other general components may be included in addition to those shown in the electronic device 100.

Processor 110 can be used to enable electronic device 100 to provide the steps or functions of any embodiment described in this invention. For example, processor 110 can control electronic device 100 as a whole by executing a program stored in memory 120 within electronic device 100. Processor 110 can be implemented by a CPU (central processing unit), GPU (graphics processing unit), AP (application processor), etc., provided within electronic device 100, but is not limited thereto.

Memory 120 is the hardware that stores various data processed within electronic device 100. Memory 120 can store data processed by processor 110 and data to be processed within electronic device 100. Furthermore, memory 120 can store not only the basic program and data structure that provide the functionality of at least one embodiment of the present invention, but also application programs (programs, coding modules, commands), drivers, etc., that provide the functionality of embodiments of the present invention. Memory 120 may include DRAM (dynamic random access memory), SRAM (static random access memory), ROM (read-only memory), EPROM (electrically erasable programmable read-only memory), CD-ROM (compact disc read-only memory), Blu-ray or other optical disc storage, HDD (hard disk drive), SSD (solid state drive), or flash memory.

Although not shown in Figure 1, the electronic device 100 may include input/output devices. These input/output devices may include user input devices that allow the electronic device to receive input from a user. Specifically, the input/output devices may include one or more user input devices such as: keyboards; pointing devices such as integrated mice, trackballs, touch panels, or graphic tablets; scanners; barcode scanners; touchscreens included in displays; voice recognition systems, microphones, and other audio input devices; and other types of input devices. User input devices are not limited to the above and may include all types of devices and mechanisms for inputting information to the electronic device 100.

Furthermore, input/output devices may include output devices that enable the electronic device to display information to the user. Specifically, input/output devices may include non-visual displays, such as display subsystems, printers, or audio output devices. Display subsystems may be CRT (cathode ray tube), LCD (liquid crystal display), LED (light emitting diode) displays, or flat panel devices such as projectors, or other display devices. Such displays may also be in the form of touch displays integrated with the touch sensor of the input module. Output devices are not limited to the above and may include all possible types of devices and mechanisms for outputting information from the electronic device 100. Output devices, for example, can be used to prompt a user interface (UI) to facilitate interaction between the user and a program or application that implements the methods described in this invention and their variations.

Although not shown in Figure 1, the electronic device 100 may include components. Communication components may function as an interface for the electronic device 100 to send data to or receive data from other devices. Data transmission and reception may be achieved via wired or wireless means. Communication devices may include: wired communication modules connected to the Internet via LAN (Local Area Network); mobile communication modules connected to mobile communication networks via mobile communication base stations to transmit and receive data; short-range communication modules utilizing communication methods such as Wi-Fi (WLAN) or WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) such as Bluetooth and Zigbee; satellite communication modules utilizing GPS (Global Positioning System) or GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System); or combinations thereof.

The method and steps of this invention can be implemented by electronic device 100 or processor 110. Electronic device 100 operates under the control of processor 110. For the sake of simplicity, the following description assumes that electronic device 100 is the implementer of the method and steps of this invention.

Electronic device 100 can output or display user interfaces 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 shown in Figures 2 to 8 via input/output devices to provide information to the user and receive information from the user. The text boxes, labels, icons, images, buttons, or charts included in the user interfaces shown in the figures of this invention are merely examples of displaying information to the user or receiving information from the user. Therefore, those skilled in the art can appropriately modify the various components included in the user interface so that electronic device 100 can provide the user with information that is the same as or similar to the information in the embodiments of this invention, or receive information from the user.

The user interfaces shown in Figures 2 through 8 (200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800) will be explained in detail below.

Figure 2 illustrates an embodiment of a user interface 200 displaying item information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, the user interface 200 may include a page capable of displaying detailed information about the item.

In one embodiment, the user interface 200 may include an item information display area 210 and a delivery information display area 220.

The item information display area 210 may include an item name label 212, an item option selection interface 213, and an item price display area 214. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user through the item option selection interface 213 to input information related to item options. For example, the electronic device 100 can receive information related to one or more of the following: item size, color, quantity, or type.

The item price display area 214 may include information related to the item's price. For example, the item price display area 214 may include one or more of the following: the price before discount, the discount rate, and the price after discount.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can confirm the item selected by the user and information on the applicable delivery method for the item. Specifically, the delivery information display area 220 may include delivery-related information for the items included in the item information display area 210.

The delivery information display area 220 may include the item's scheduled arrival date information 221, the item's free delivery conditions information 222, delivery fee information 223, and delivery method information 224. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may confirm the item's scheduled arrival date information 221, the item's free delivery conditions information 222, delivery fee information 223, and delivery method information 224 from a database and display them in the delivery information display area 220. The system can dynamically confirm one or more of the following information: the estimated arrival date of the item (221), the free shipping conditions (222), the shipping fee (223), and the shipping method (224). This includes information related to the item's attributes (size, weight, price, or quantity), the shipping method, logistics and warehouse information, inventory information, the item's outbound address, the user-entered address, and traffic conditions.

The delivery method information 224 may include information related to the method of delivery. For example, the delivery method may include regular delivery or vault delivery. Regular delivery may mean delivery to an address entered by the user, such as home or office. Vault delivery may mean delivery to a vault entered by the user. Vaults may include convenience stores, warehouses, cafes, etc. The recipient can visit the vault to collect the purchased items.

The free shipping conditions information 222 and shipping fee information 223 may include information on the free shipping conditions and shipping fees for the item, depending on the shipping method. The free shipping conditions information 222 may include information on the minimum purchase amount required for free shipping. The free shipping conditions information 222 may also include information on the maximum quantity, maximum weight, or maximum size of items required for free shipping.

In one embodiment, the delivery information display area 220 may include a delivery details display button 225. The electronic device 100 can display detailed information related to at least one delivery method for the item upon clicking the details display button 225. This will be explained in detail with reference to Figure 4.

In one embodiment, the user interface 200 may include a coupon distribution interface 231. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user via the coupon distribution interface 231 to distribute coupons related to items to the user.

In one embodiment, the user interface 200 may include an "Add to Cart" button 241. The electronic device 100 can add items to the cart corresponding to the item selection information entered through the item selection interface 213, based on the input of clicking the "Add to Cart" button 241. The electronic device 100 can provide information related to the items added to the cart and, based on user input, provide order and checkout information for the items added to the cart.

In one embodiment, the user interface 200 may include a purchase button 242. The electronic device 100 may, in response to the input of clicking the purchase button 242, provide order and settlement information for the items entered via the item selection interface 213, corresponding to the item selection options.

Figure 3 illustrates an embodiment of a user interface 300 displaying item information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide the user interface 300 corresponding to input via clicking the Add to Cart button 241 or the Purchase button 242.

The user interface 300 may include an item price display area 310. The item price display area 310 may include information related to the item's price. For example, the item price display area 310 may include one or more of the following: the item's price before discount, the discount rate, and the price after discount.

The user interface 300 may include the item's scheduled arrival date information 331, the item's free shipping conditions information 321, and the shipping fee information 322. The item's scheduled arrival date information 331, the item's free shipping conditions information 321, and the shipping fee information 322 can respectively correspond to the item's scheduled arrival date information 221, the item's free shipping conditions information 222, and the shipping fee information 223 shown in Figure 2.

In one embodiment, the user interface 300 may include a quantity adjustment interface 332. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user through the quantity adjustment interface 332 to receive information related to the quantity of items purchased.

In one embodiment, the user interface 300 may include an "Add to Cart" button 341. The electronic device 100, in response to clicking the "Add to Cart" button 341, can add items to the cart according to the quantity entered in the "Item Selection" interface 332, based on the information related to the item selection options entered in the "Item Selection" interface 213.

Figure 4 illustrates an embodiment of a user interface 400 displaying delivery information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide the user interface 400 by corresponding to an input of clicking the detail information display button 225 shown in Figure 2. The user interface 400 may include information related to applicable delivery methods. For example, the user interface 400 may include information related to a first delivery method and information related to a second delivery method. The item shown in Figure 2 may be delivered according to either the first delivery method or the second delivery method. The first delivery method and the second delivery method may each be either a regular delivery method or a convenience store delivery method.

User interface 400 may include a first information display area 410 and a second information display area 420. The first information display area 410 may include information related to a first delivery method, and the second information display area 420 may include information related to a second delivery method. For example, the first information display area 410 may include the name information 411 of the first delivery method, and the second information display area 420 may include the name information 421 of the second delivery method. Thus, information related to the first delivery method and information related to the second delivery method are displayed in separate areas, providing the advantage that users can compare information related to each delivery method.

In one embodiment, the first information display area 410 may include the first scheduled arrival date information 412, the first free shipping conditions information 413, and the first shipping fee information 414 for the item delivered by the first delivery method. The first scheduled arrival date information 412, the first free shipping conditions information 413, and the first shipping fee information 414 may respectively correspond to the scheduled arrival date information 221, the free shipping conditions information 222, and the shipping fee information 223 shown in Figure 2.

In one embodiment, the second information display area 420 may include second scheduled arrival date information 422, second free shipping conditions information 423, and second shipping fee information 424 for items delivered via the second delivery method. The second scheduled arrival date information 422, second free shipping conditions information 423, and second shipping fee information 424 may respectively correspond to the scheduled arrival date information 221, free shipping conditions information 222, and shipping fee information 223 shown in Figure 2.

The first scheduled arrival date information 412 and the second scheduled arrival date information 422 may vary depending on the delivery method. For example, the first scheduled arrival date for the first delivery method may be one day earlier than the second scheduled arrival date for the second delivery method. The first scheduled arrival date information 412 and the second scheduled arrival date information 422 can be displayed in other time units such as hours, minutes, and seconds.

The first free shipping terms 413 and the second free shipping terms 423 may also vary depending on the shipping method, and the first shipping fee terms 414 and the second shipping fee terms 424 may also vary depending on the shipping method.

Figure 5 illustrates an embodiment of a user interface 500 displaying shopping cart information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide the user interface 500 corresponding to an input of clicking the Add to Cart button 241 shown in Figure 2 or the Add to Cart button 341 shown in Figure 3. The user interface 500 may include information related to at least one item added to the shopping cart. Specifically, the user interface 500 may include one or more of the following: a delivery information interface 510, an item information interface 520, a subtotal settlement amount interface 530, a discount interface 540, and a total settlement amount interface 550.

In one embodiment, the item information interface 520 may include information related to items added to the shopping cart. For example, the item information interface 520 may include a first item selection button 521a, scheduled arrival date information 522a, price information 523a, and an item editing interface 524a related to a first item added to the shopping cart. The item information interface 520 may also include a second item selection button 521b, scheduled arrival date information 522b, price information 523b, and an item editing interface 524b related to a second item added to the shopping cart.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 can confirm or deselect the first item by clicking the first item selection button 521a. Similarly, the electronic device 100 can confirm or deselect the second item by clicking the second item selection button 521b.

The estimated arrival date information 522a for item 1 and 522b for item 2 may include the estimated arrival date of item 1 and the estimated arrival date of item 2, respectively. The estimated arrival dates of item 1 and item 2 may differ. Each of the estimated arrival dates of item 1 and item 2 may be an estimated arrival date obtained according to at least one applicable delivery method.

Price information for Item 1 (523a) and Price information for Item 2 (523b) may include the price information for Item 1 and Item 2 already added to the shopping cart, respectively.

The electronic device 100 can interact with the user through the first item editing interface 524a and the second item editing interface 524b, receiving information related to the options or purchase quantities of the first and second items, and confirming the options or purchase quantities of items to be added to the shopping cart.

In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 510 may include delivery information related to items added to the shopping cart. For example, the delivery information interface 510 may include free delivery conditions 515 and delivery fee information 516 for the delivery methods applicable to the items added to the shopping cart. For example, the free delivery conditions information 515 and delivery fee information 516 may respectively include free delivery conditions and delivery fee information for standard delivery methods.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 may provide information related to the free delivery conditions of applicable delivery methods and the degree to which these conditions are met, based on item-related information. For example, electronic device 100 may provide information related to the ratio of the item's price to the minimum amount required for free delivery under the applicable delivery methods.

Specifically, the electronic device 100 can compare information about the items selected via at least one item selection button 521a, 521b and at least one item editing interface 524a, 524b with information about the free shipping conditions of the shipping methods applicable to the selected items, in order to provide information on the degree of fulfillment of the free shipping conditions related to the applicable shipping methods. At least one item selection button 521a, 521b, at least one item editing interface 524a, 524b, and information related to the fulfillment of free shipping conditions are provided together through the user interface 500. Therefore, users can consider the fulfillment information and select or deselect items using at least one item selection button 521a, 521b and at least one item editing interface 524a, 524b to optimize the total purchase amount and thus meet the free shipping conditions.

For example, the delivery information interface 510 may include a progress bar 511. The progress bar 511 may display the total purchase amount of the selected items, based on the minimum amount required for free delivery under either the first or second delivery method. For example, the minimum amount required for free delivery may correspond to the entire area of the progress bar 511, and the total purchase amount of the selected items may correspond to the colored area 512 of the progress bar 511. That is, the remaining amount, in order to meet the minimum amount required for free delivery, may correspond to the uncolored area 513 of the progress bar 511.

At this point, the ratio of the total purchase amount of the selected items to the minimum amount required for free shipping can be the same as the ratio of the length of the colored area 512 to the length of the entire progress bar 511.

In this embodiment of the invention, the degree of fulfillment of the free shipping conditions (e.g., the relative ratio of the free shipping conditions to the degree of fulfillment) is displayed as the progress bar 511 shown in Figure 5, but the method of displaying the degree of fulfillment of the free shipping conditions is not limited to this. For example, the degree of fulfillment of the free shipping conditions can be represented by other charts such as pie charts, or by numbers or text.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may also provide information related to the fulfillment of each of the multiple free delivery conditions for multiple delivery methods. A progress bar 511 may represent a second minimum amount required for free delivery of a second delivery method compared to a first minimum amount required for free delivery of a first delivery method. For example, the total length of the progress bar 511 may correspond to the second minimum amount, and an upper limit line 514 corresponding to the relative ratio of the first and second minimum amounts may be included in the progress bar 511. Through this, the user can only meet the free delivery conditions of the first delivery method, but not the free delivery conditions of the second delivery method.

In one embodiment, when the price of an item falls within the range of the first minimum amount required for free shipping under the first shipping method applicable to the item, but does not fall within the second minimum amount required for free shipping under the second shipping method applicable to the item, the electronic device 100 can provide information about the first shipping method. Specifically, the user interface 500 may include recommended information about the first shipping method. This has the advantage of helping users choose the first shipping method and enjoy the benefits of free shipping.

In one embodiment, the user interface 500 may include a total amount calculation interface 530. The total amount calculation interface 530 may include total price information 531 for items selected via at least one item selection button 521a, 521b and at least one item editing interface 524a, 524b; delivery fee information 532 for applicable delivery methods; and the total amount obtained by adding the above prices to the delivery fees 533. The total amount calculation interface 530 may include a product addition button 534, and the electronic device 100 may display a product search interface corresponding to clicking the product addition button 534.

In one embodiment, the user interface 500 may include a discount interface 540. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user via the discount interface 540 to apply discount coupons issued to the user to items already added to their shopping cart.

In one embodiment, the user interface 500 may include a total settlement amount interface 550. The total settlement amount interface 550 may include: total price information 551 of items selected via at least one item selection button 521a, 521b and at least one item editing interface 524a, 524b; discount price information 552 of discount coupons applied via the discount interface 540; delivery fee information 553 for applicable delivery methods; and total amount information 555 obtained by adding the above total prices, discounted prices, and delivery fees.

In one embodiment, the user interface 500 may include a purchase button 561. The electronic device 100 may correspond to the input of clicking the purchase button 561, providing order and settlement information for selecting or editing items in the user interface 500.

Figure 6 illustrates an embodiment of a user interface 600 displaying order and settlement information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide the user interface 600 corresponding to input via clicking the purchase button 242 shown in Figure 2 or the purchase button 561 shown in Figure 5. The user interface 600 may include order and settlement information for the items.

In one embodiment, the user interface 600 may include a delivery information interface 610. Specifically, the electronic device 100 may interact with the user through the delivery information interface 610 to confirm input selecting a delivery method for the item. Furthermore, the electronic device 100 may interact with the user through the delivery information interface 610 to display information about the delivery method of the item, or to accept input of such information.

In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include at least one delivery method selection button 611a, 611b corresponding to each applicable delivery method. For example, a user can select a first delivery method by clicking the first delivery method selection button 611a, or select a second delivery method by clicking the second delivery method selection button 611b.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can determine whether the items can be delivered using an applicable delivery method based on item-related information. Specifically, electronic device 100 can consider at least one of the following information: item-related attributes (such as size, weight, price, or quantity), logistics warehouse information, inventory information, item outbound address information, user-input address information, traffic information, and legal information, to determine whether the items can be delivered using different applicable delivery methods. If the result of the confirmation is that the items include those that cannot be delivered using the first delivery method, the first delivery method selection button 611a will be disabled, thereby preventing the selection of the first delivery method.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can provide information related to items that cannot be delivered via the first delivery method, based on the confirmation of delivery availability. For example, electronic device 100 can provide a list of items that cannot be delivered via the first delivery method through user interface 600, or provide a user interface that excludes items that cannot be delivered via the first delivery method (e.g., user interface 500 in Figure 5).

In one embodiment, when the electronic device 100 confirms delivery availability, if multiple items cannot be delivered to the storage facility when packaged together, but can be delivered individually when packaged separately, it can display information related to the individual packaging of each item by selecting the corresponding storage facility delivery method selection button in at least one delivery method selection button 611a, 611b (e.g., the second delivery method selection button 611b in Figure 6). This has the advantage that even with individual packaging, the requests of users who wish to receive items via storage facility delivery can be satisfied.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can provide information on the delivery method of the last completed order based on order history information. For example, electronic device 100 can confirm the most frequently used delivery method or the delivery method of the last completed order based on the user's order history information, and then activate the selection of the button corresponding to the confirmed delivery method in at least one delivery method selection button 611a, 611b. This has the following advantages: the user can select their preferred delivery method in advance, thus saving the user the trouble of having to select a delivery method every time they place an order.

In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include at least one delivery fee information 612a, 612b corresponding to each applicable delivery method. The at least one delivery fee information 612a, 612b may include the discounted delivery fee information for each delivery method (e.g., $0 when free delivery is available). This has the following effect: it helps users compare the delivery fees of different delivery methods to select a delivery method.

Applicable delivery methods may include regular delivery and custodian delivery. In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include collection information for regular delivery (e.g., collector information 613a, alias information for collection location 614a, and collection address information 615a, etc.). In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include a delivery information correction button 616a. The electronic device 100 may provide a user interface for correcting collection information for regular delivery by clicking the delivery information correction button 616a.

In one embodiment, when the delivery method for the item application is the second delivery method—delivery to an address specified by the user—the electronic device 100 can confirm the selected address based on the address entered by the user and provide item delivery information based on the selected address.

In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include information about the storage facility selected for the delivery method (selected storage facility name information 613b, selected storage facility type information 617b, and selected storage facility address information 615b, etc.). The selected storage facility type information 617b may include the name, trademark, or logo of the storage facility company (e.g., a convenience store franchise) operating multiple storage facilities. In one embodiment, the delivery information interface 610 may include a delivery information correction button 616b. The electronic device 100 may provide a user interface that allows users to correct the storage facility information selected for the delivery method by clicking the delivery information correction button 616b. The user interface for modifying the selected storage location information for the storage location delivery method will be explained in detail with reference to Figures 7 and 8.

In one embodiment, the user interface 600 may include a retrieval information interface 620 for the storage facility delivery method. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user through the retrieval information interface 620, accepting input of the retrieval information of the person receiving the item via the storage facility delivery method, and providing the retrieval information to the selected storage facility. That is, the electronic device 100 can verify the retrieval information of the person receiving the item and provide this information to the selected storage facility. To retrieve the item from the selected storage facility, the retrieval person can present their authentication information. The electronic device 100 can receive the authentication information from the selected storage facility, compare it with the retrieval information, and send the item retrieval permission information to the selected storage facility. This method prevents unauthorized third parties from claiming items on behalf of the intended recipient.

In one embodiment, the information retrieval interface 620 may appear corresponding to the selection button corresponding to the delivery method of the item storage facility (e.g., the second delivery method selection button 611b in Figure 6) when at least one delivery method selection button 611a, 611b is activated.

In one embodiment, the information collection interface 620 may include a name input field 621 for the recipient, a contact information input field 622 for the recipient, and precautions information 623 for collection.

In one embodiment, the user interface 600 may include an item information display area 630, a total settlement amount interface 640, and a settlement method interface 650. The item information display area 630 may display information related to the item to be settled. The total settlement amount interface 640 may include total price information 641, discount information 642, 643, delivery fee information 644, a delivery fee detail information display button 645, a points usage interface 646, and total settlement amount information 647, etc. The delivery fee information 644 can be confirmed by selecting at least one of the delivery method selection buttons 611a and 611b. Electronic device 100 can display detailed information about available delivery methods by corresponding to the input of the delivery fee detail display button 645. For example, electronic device 100 can display the user interface 400 of Figure 4 by corresponding to the input of the delivery fee detail display button 645. The payment method interface 650 may include an interface for editing and selecting the payment method for the order.

In one embodiment, the user interface 600 may include a checkout button 661. The electronic device 100 may, upon clicking the checkout button 661, attempt to perform a checkout based on information entered into the user interface 600.

Figures 7 and 8 illustrate an embodiment of a user interface 700 displaying storage facility information related to the delivery information provision method of the present invention. In one embodiment, when the delivery method for the item application is the first delivery method—delivery to a storage facility—candidate storage facility information can be provided based on user information. Specifically, the electronic device 100 can provide the user interface 700 by clicking the delivery information correction button 616b shown in Figure 6. The user interface 700 may include an interface for selecting or editing storage facilities selected according to the storage facility delivery method.

User information may include the user's address information. This address information can be obtained from a database. For example, the user's address information may be their home, workplace, or other address. Alternatively, the user's address information may be obtained based on order history. The electronic device 100 can verify the user's order history and confirm the user's address information based on the storage facility information corresponding to the most recent order delivered via storage facility. Or, the electronic device 100 can verify the user's order history and confirm the user's address information based on the storage facility information corresponding to the most recent order history. That is, the electronic device 100 can provide storage facility-related information based on order history information. This approach offers the following advantages: it eliminates the hassle for users of having to reselect a storage location each time they place an order.

In one embodiment, the user's address information can be provided via a user interface 700. For example, the user interface 700 may include a user address information type 711, user address information 712, and a user address information type editing button 713. The electronic device 100 can provide the user interface 800 of FIG. 8 in response to clicking the type editing button 713. The electronic device 100 can interact with the user through the user interface 800 to confirm the user's address information type. For example, referring to FIG. 8, the user can access the user interface 700 by selecting the address information type shown on the user interface 800 (home, workplace, other address, or recently selected convenience store).

The user interface 700 may include a map interface 720 and a storage facility list interface 730.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can confirm the location of a storage facility and the distance between it and the location corresponding to the user's address information, providing storage facility-related information based on the distance. Specifically, map interface 720 may include first location information 721 corresponding to the user's address information 712 and location information 723a, 723b, 723c of at least one storage facility surrounding the first location. Each of the first location information 721 and the location information 723a, 723b, 723c of at least one storage facility can be displayed as a icon on the map. This provides the advantage that the user can refer to the map to select a nearby storage facility. Map interface 720 may include the user's current location information 722 and a current location display button 724.

In one embodiment, the storage facility list interface 730 may include name information 732a, 732b, 732c of at least one storage facility, address information 733a, 733b, 733c of at least one storage facility, and distance information 734a, 734b, 734c of at least one storage facility. The distance information 734a, 734b, 734c may include the location of at least one storage facility and the distance to the location corresponding to the user's address information. The distance may be the straight-line distance between the location of the storage facility and the location corresponding to the user's address information, or it may be the total distance of the road traveled from the location corresponding to the user's address information to the location of the storage facility.

In one embodiment, the storage facility list interface 730 may include at least one storage facility selection button 731a, 731b, and 731c, each corresponding to at least one storage facility. The electronic device 100 may confirm the selection of a storage facility by inputting information corresponding to one of the storage facility selection buttons 731a, 731b, and 731c. Alternatively, the selection of a storage facility may be confirmed by inputting location information 723a, 723b, and 723c of at least one storage facility included in the map selection interface 720. The electronic device 100 may confirm the storage facility selected by clicking the application button 741 as the selected storage facility.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can provide information about storage facilities whose locations are within a preset distance of the user's address. Specifically, only storage facility information within a preset distance of the user's address is displayed on the map interface 720 and the storage facility list interface 730. This approach has the advantage of preventing the electronic device 100 from experiencing performance degradation or user confusion due to providing too many storage facilities to the user interface 700.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 can arrange and provide information on multiple storage locations in ascending order of their distance from the user's address. Specifically, the storage location information can be displayed on a map interface 720 and a storage location list interface 730 in ascending order of distance from the user's address. This has the advantage of helping users more quickly identify the nearest storage location.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 can confirm the operating hours of the storage facility and provide information related to those hours. Specifically, the storage facility list interface 730 can include operating hour information for each storage facility. This has the advantage of helping users consider the operating hours of storage facilities when selecting one.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 can confirm the information of the selected storage facility from the candidate storage facilities based on the user's first input, and provide delivery information for the items based on the selected storage facility. Specifically, the electronic device 100 can provide delivery information for orders settled according to the selected delivery method via the delivery method selection buttons 611a and 611b in Figure 6.

Specifically, if the input related to the delivery method is the first delivery method (i.e., the storage facility delivery method) where the item is retrieved by visiting a storage facility, the electronic device 100 can provide delivery tracking information for the item, including arrival information of the item at the selected storage facility. Delivery tracking information may include the item's current location, locations it has passed through, and inbound or outbound information at each location. In particular, the storage facility arrival information may include the scheduled arrival time or arrival time information of the item at the selected storage facility.

In one embodiment, electronic device 100 can estimate the arrival time of an item at a selected storage facility and provide an estimated pick-up time based on the estimated arrival time and the storage facility's operating hours. For example, electronic device 100 can estimate the arrival time of the item at the storage facility based on information related to the item's attributes (such as size, weight, price, or quantity), logistics warehouse information, inventory information, the item's outbound address information, user-input address information, traffic information, legal information, etc. The estimated arrival time can correspond to the scheduled arrival date information displayed in Figures 2 to 6.

The estimated arrival time may be outside the operating hours of the storage facility. In this case, even if the item arrives at the storage facility, it cannot be stored or stored there. Therefore, the electronic device 100 can provide an estimated time when the item will be available for collection after a delay, or provide a notification, based on the estimated arrival time and the operating hours of the storage facility. For example, the electronic device 100 can provide an estimated time when the item will be available for collection after a delay of one or two days, or provide information that the estimated time when the item will be available for collection may be delayed by one or two days, based on the estimated arrival time and the operating hours of the storage facility.

The space at the selected storage facility may be limited, therefore items can only be stored there for a certain period. Therefore, in one embodiment, electronic device 100 can provide information related to the period during which the items are stored at the selected storage facility. The user or recipient can check this information and plan to retrieve the items within that period.

In one embodiment, the electronic device 100 can confirm the retrieval status of items and, when the retrieval status of an item is "unretrieved," provide at least one piece of information related to the period the item was held in the storage facility. For example, if an item has arrived at a selected storage facility, but at least one item is in an "unretrieved" status, the electronic device 100 can provide one or more pieces of information related to the period the item was held in the selected storage facility before the expiry date of the storage period. This helps users or recipients avoid forgetting to retrieve their items.

Figure 9 illustrates the operation method of an electronic device 100 according to an embodiment. For each step of the operation method in Figure 9, descriptions that repeat the operations of the electronic device 100 or processor 110 described in Figures 1 through 8 are omitted.

In step S910, the electronic device 100 can confirm the item selected by the user.

In step S920, the electronic device 100 can confirm information regarding the delivery method applicable to the item.

In step S930, when the delivery method for the item application is the first delivery method (delivery to an item storage facility), the electronic device 100 can provide candidate item storage facility information based on user information.

The aforementioned computer-readable recording medium or non-transitory recording medium may include program commands, data files, data structures, etc., individually or in combination. The program commands recorded in the aforementioned computer-readable recording medium or non-transitory recording medium may be specifically designed and configured for the present invention, or may be made available for use by those skilled in the art of computer software. A method for providing delivery information, performed via an electronic device, includes the following steps: Confirming the item selected by the user; Confirming information on delivery methods applicable to the item; Based on the item information, providing information on free delivery conditions and the degree to which these conditions are met under the aforementioned delivery methods; Comparing the price of the item with a first minimum amount required for free delivery under a first delivery method and a second minimum amount required for free delivery under a second delivery method; When the price of the item is above the first minimum amount but below the second minimum amount, providing recommended information for the first delivery method; When the delivery method applied to the item is the first delivery method, delivery to a storage facility, providing information on candidate storage facilities based on the user's information; Based on the user's first input, confirm the information of the selected storage facility from the candidate storage facilities; and provide delivery information for the selected storage facility. The delivery information provision method as described in Request 1 includes the following steps: When the delivery method applied to the above-mentioned items is the second delivery method, which involves delivery to the address specified by the user, the selected address is confirmed based on the address entered by the user, and delivery information for the above-mentioned items is provided based on the selected address.
