Abstract

A clamping device for hanging is configured to connect with a planar unit. The clamping device comprises a connecting unit and two clamp units. The connecting unit has a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, and the planar unit is connected to the first connecting portion. The two clamping units are connected to the second connecting portion. The two clamping units are arranged side by side, and the two clamping units are capable of moving toward or away from each other. Each one of the two clamping units has a connecting end and a clamping end. The connecting end is connected to the second connecting portion, and the clamping end extends to a direction away from the connecting unit. The clamping device is connected to a frame structure by means of clamping with the clamping units, and thus even if the frame structure is not rod-shaped, the clamping device is still capable of connecting with the frame structure.

Description

Hanging clamp

This invention relates to a hanging tool, particularly a clamp for stretching or hanging flat surfaces.

Familiar structures such as tents, tennis nets, awnings, and curtains are formed by suspending or clamping a flat sheet of canvas or netting onto a frame. Specifically, a suspension mechanism is attached to the edge of the sheet, which allows the sheet to be stretched or suspended from the frame. Conventional suspension mechanisms typically consist of a connecting portion and a hanging rope, which are fixed to each other. The connecting portion is attached to the edge of the sheet, and the hanging rope is wound around and secured to the frame.

Furthermore, the rain cover of a golf cart used for moving around a wide range of golf courses also includes a similar setup. Specifically, a golf cart only has a simple sun visor on the roof, while the sides are open and connected to the sun visor by a simple frame. Therefore, the owner uses the connecting part of the suspension device to connect to the edge of the rain cover, and then wraps the hanging rope around the frame to complete the rain cover installation, preventing rain from entering the passenger seat.

However, more and more golf carts are equipped with windshields between the frames in front of the driving position. The edges of the windshields are sealed to the frames, preventing the rope from getting tangled, making the traditional suspension system ineffective. Therefore, it is clear that a new suspension design needs to be developed.

The main purpose of this invention is to propose a new suspension device that can assist in the suspension or tensioning of planar members, especially to assist in connecting and mounting planar members on non-rod-shaped components.

To achieve the aforementioned objectives, the present invention provides a hanging clamp for connecting to a planar member. The hanging clamp comprises: a connecting member comprising a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, the planar member being connected to the first connecting portion; two clips disposed on the second connecting portion of the connecting member, the two clips being disposed side by side and capable of moving closer to or farther from each other, and being independent of each other; each clip having: a connecting end connected to the second connecting portion; and a clamping end extending away from the connecting member; and An adjuster connects the two clamps and can adjust the distance between the two clamps; the adjuster includes: a screw that penetrates the two clamps; a handle that is connected to one end of the screw; and a nut that is threadedly disposed on the screw, with the two clamps located between the handle and the nut; wherein each of the clamps has a raised portion located between the connecting end and the clamping end, and the raised portion of each clamp is arched toward the other clamp, and the screw penetrates the raised portion of the two clamps.

Therefore, the advantage of this invention lies in its use of clips to connect to the skeletal structure. Therefore, even if the skeletal structure is not rod-shaped, this invention can still be connected to the aforementioned skeletal structure. Compared to conventional suspension devices, since this invention does not use winding fixation, it can assist in suspending flat objects on a wider variety of skeletal structures, such as the edge of a windshield, the frame of a door or window, and meet the diverse needs of users.

As described above, in the hanging clip, each of the clips has a supporting portion connected to the clamping end, and the supporting portion extends toward the other clip.

As described above, the hanging clip, wherein the first connecting portion includes a long groove, the long groove forms a long slit on the surface of the connecting member, the width of the long slit is smaller than the width of the widest part of the long groove, and the planar member is inserted into the long slit.

As described above, the hanging clamp has an engaging rod on the edge of the planar member, and the first connecting portion of the connecting member further includes a long slot that passes through two opposite ends of the connecting member, and the engaging rod is engaged with the long slot.

As described above, the hanging clip, wherein the second connecting portion further has two wings, which are respectively connected to the opposite sides of the first connecting portion and extend away from each other; and two through-slots, which are respectively formed through the two wings, and the connecting ends of the two clips are respectively inserted into the two through-slots.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. This invention proposes a hanging clamp that is used to connect to a planar member A. In this embodiment, an engaging rod A1 is fixed to the edge of the planar member A and extends along the edge of the planar member A, but is not limited to this.

The hanging clamp of this invention includes a connecting member 10, two clamping members 20, and an adjuster 30.

The connector 10 includes a first connecting portion 11 and a second connecting portion 12, with the planar member A connected to the first connecting portion 11. Specifically, the first connecting portion 11 includes an elongated slot 111, into which the engaging rod A1 engages. The slot 111 extends through two opposing end surfaces of the connector 10 and forms a slit 112 on one side of the connector 10. In this embodiment, the engaging rod A1 is cylindrical, and the shape of the slot 111 corresponds to that of the engaging rod A1. The width of the slit 112 is smaller than the width of the slot 111 at its widest point. This secures the engaging rod A1 within the slot 111, while the planar member A passes through the slit 112.

The second connecting portion 12 is connected to the side of the first connecting portion 11 opposite the slit 112. In this embodiment, the second connecting portion 12 includes two wings 121 and two through slots 122. The wings 121 are connected to opposite sides of the first connecting portion 11 and extend away from each other. Furthermore, the wings 121 are curved away from the first connecting portion 11, but this is not limiting.

Two through slots 122 are formed through the two wings 121 respectively. In this embodiment, each through slot 122 is an elongated slot and extends along the length direction of the long slot 111 of the first connecting portion 11, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The shape of the through slot 122 can be adjusted according to needs.

The two clips 20 are disposed on the second connecting portion 12 of the connecting member 10. The two clips 20 are disposed side by side and can be moved closer to or farther away from each other. In this embodiment, the clips 20 include a connecting end 21, a clamping end 22, a supporting portion 23, and a raised portion 24.

The connecting end 21 is connected to the second connecting portion 12. Specifically, the connecting end 21 of each clip 20 is bent into a hook shape, and the connecting ends 21 of the two clips 20 are respectively inserted into the two through slots 122. In this way, the clip 20 is hooked to the second connecting portion 12 of the connector 10, making it easy for the user to remove or install it. In addition, the clip 20 can also be formed in a form similar to a hinge on the connector 10 to facilitate adjustment of the relative distance between the two clips 20, but this is not limited to this. The shape of the connecting end 21 of the clip 20 can be adjusted as needed.

The clamping end 22 extends away from the connector 10. Abutment 23 is connected to the clamping end 22 and extends toward the other clamping member 20. In this embodiment, the abutment 23 is a flat piece, and the abutment 23 of the two clamping members 20 extend toward each other. However, this is not limiting. The clamping end 22 may also not have the abutment 23, or the abutment 23 may be of any desired shape.

The arched portion 24 is located between the connecting end 21 and the clamping end 22, and the arched portion 24 of each clip 20 is arched toward the other clip 20. In this embodiment, the arched portion 24 is spaced from the abutting portion 23, thereby forming a groove structure between the arched portion 24 and the abutting portion 23.

The adjuster 30 is connected to the two clamps 20, and the adjuster 30 can adjust the distance between the two clamps 20. The adjuster 30 in this embodiment includes a screw 31, a handle 32, and a nut 33. The screw 31 is arranged through the arch 24, and the handle 32 is connected to one end of the screw 31. The nut 33 is screwed into the screw 31 and the two clamps 20 are located between the handle 32 and the nut 33. The nut 33 and the handle 32 are used to fix the relative distance between the two clamps 20. In addition, in this embodiment, the nut 33 is fixed to one of the clamps 20, and the screw 31 is inserted from the other clamp 20 and screwed with the nut 33, but this is not limited to this, and the nut 33 may not be fixed to the clamp 20.

Please refer to Figure 3. When using this creative clip on a non-rod-shaped skeleton structure B, the skeleton structure B can be set between the two clamps 20, and then the adjuster 30 can be used to adjust the distance between the two clamps 20 so that the two clamps 20 are clamped on the skeleton structure B, thereby the creative clip is set on the skeleton structure B.

Furthermore, the frame structure B shown in FIG3 has a relatively bulging flange B1, which can be made to pass between the abutting portions 23 of the two clamps 20 and then be positioned in the groove structure between the arched portion 24 and the abutting portion 23. Then, the adjuster 30 is used to reduce the distance between the clamps 20 so that the flange B1 cannot pass through the abutting portion 23 of the two clamps 20. At this time, the abutting portion 23 can also abut against the upper edge of the flange B1, so that the creation is hung on the frame structure B without falling off. In Figure 3, the two clips 20 are tightly against the two side surfaces B2 of the frame structure B, but this is not limited to this. It is also possible to not abut against the side surfaces B2, but to be suspended only by the abutting portion 23 contacting the upper edge of the flange B1.

Referring now to Figures 2 and 4 , the engaging rod A1 on the edge of the planar member A is embedded in the elongated slot 111 of the first connecting portion 11, while the planar member A is inserted through the elongated slit 112. Because the shape of the engaging rod A1 matches the shape of the elongated slot 111, and the width of the elongated slit 112 is smaller than the width of the elongated slot 111 at its widest point, the engaging rod A1 cannot escape through the elongated slit 112. This allows the planar member A to be securely attached to the first connecting portion 11 of the connector 10 and, through this invention, to be suspended from the skeleton structure C.

This invention utilizes a clip 20 to connect to the frame structure B. Therefore, even if the frame structure B is not rod-shaped, such as the front frame of a golf cart where a windshield is embedded, where there is no gap between the frame and the windshield for the rope to pass through, and thus it cannot be installed by winding the rope, this invention can still be connected and installed there. Compared to conventional suspension devices, since this invention does not use winding fixation, it can assist in suspending the flat member A on a wider variety of frame structures, such as the edge of a windshield or the frames of doors and windows, meeting the diverse needs of users.

Furthermore, the clip 20 of the present invention is hooked and inserted into the slot 122 of the second connecting portion 12 of the connector 10. This allows the clip 20 to be more mobile than the connector 10, allowing the present invention to be applied to a wider range of frame structures of different sizes. The clip 20 is also easy to install or remove from the connector 10. In addition, the present invention uses a screw 31 and a nut 33 as an adjuster 30 to adjust the relative distance between the two clips 20. This method is not only simple and easy to operate, but can also be used to firmly "lock" the present invention to the frame structure and prevent it from falling off, allowing the installation or suspension of planar members A with greater elasticity or weight.

Claims (6)

A hanging clamp is used to connect to a flat member; the hanging clamp comprises: a connecting member, which comprises a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion, the flat member is connected to the first connecting portion; two clips, which are arranged on the second connecting portion of the connecting member, and the two clips are arranged side by side and can be close to or far away from each other, and are independent of each other; each clip has: a connecting end, which is connected to the second connecting portion; and a clamping end, which extends in a direction away from the connecting member; and an adjuster, which The adjuster is connected to the two clamps and can adjust the distance between the two clamps. The adjuster includes: a screw that is inserted through the two clamps; a handle that is connected to one end of the screw; and a nut that is threadedly installed on the screw, and the two clamps are located between the handle and the nut. Each of the clamps has a raised portion that is located between the connecting end and the clamping end, and the raised portion of each clamp is arched toward the other clamp. The screw penetrates the raised portion of the two clamps. The hanging clip as described in claim 1, wherein each of the clips has: a supporting portion connected to the clamping end, and the supporting portion extends toward the other clip. A hanging clip as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein: the first connecting portion includes a long groove, the long groove forms a long slit on the surface of the connecting member, the width of the long slit is smaller than the width of the widest part of the long groove, and the planar member is inserted into the long slit. A hanging clamp as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the edge of the planar member has an engaging rod, and the first connecting portion of the connecting member further includes: a long slot that passes through the opposite ends of the connecting member, and the engaging rod is engaged in the long slot. The hanging clip as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the second connecting portion further comprises: two wings, which are respectively connected to opposite sides of the first connecting portion and extend away from each other; and two through-slots, which are respectively formed through the two wings, and the connecting ends of the two clips are respectively passed through the two through-slots. The hanging clip as described in claim 5, wherein the connecting end of each clip is bent into a hook shape.
