Abstract

一般我們對於高爾夫球的印象,多是全白的球體上有著多個大小稍微不同的孔洞,但實際上,高爾夫球常會在表面上印有商標、圖案或裝飾性花紋,除了美觀外,還能讓選手在擊球後便於觀測球速、轉速及落點。目前高爾夫球常採用的印刷方法,是在一印刷板上刻印有一圖樣,當要在高爾夫球表面進行印刷時,是先將油墨沾附於該印刷板的該圖樣上,再以一膠頭壓印於該圖樣上,最後將沾附有油墨構成之轉印圖樣的膠頭壓印在高爾夫球的表面,使轉印圖樣印刷於高爾夫球上。但高爾夫球上往往不只一處需要印刷,且圖案也常常不同,如此一來便需準備多個各自具有不同圖案的印刷板,由於膠頭的移動路徑往往較為固定,因此當要將不同圖案印刷於高爾夫球的不同位置時(例如頂面、底面與中間環面),除了需要轉動高爾夫球以將所要印刷的位置朝上對準該膠頭外,還需移動印刷板來對準該膠頭,若印刷板的位移或高爾夫球的轉動有些許偏誤,便會導致印刷圖樣偏移。此外,前述印刷製程結束後,還需以人工方式檢視印刷圖樣是否符合標準,十分耗費人力及時間,且判斷精準度容易受人為因素所影響。Generally, our impression of golf balls is that there are multiple holes of slightly different sizes on the ball, but in fact, golf balls are often printed with trademarks, patterns or decorative patterns on the surface.
