Abstract

An electronic device protective cover is used to protect an electronic device. The electronic device protective cover includes a first protective shell, a second protective shell, a pivot and a rotatable hand strap module. The pivot is connected between the first protective shell and the second protective shell, and the rotatable hand strap module is rotatably installed on the second protective shell.

Electronic device protective cover

The present invention relates to a protective cover, and in particular to a protective cover for electronic devices.

With the advancement of technology, the functionality of electronic products has been continuously improved and their popularity has gradually changed the lifestyles of many people. In addition to excellent functionality, portability has also become an important factor for users to consider when purchasing electronic products.

The development of portable electronic devices, in addition to improving their performance, has also gradually moved towards thinner devices. When using or carrying portable electronic devices, if they are accidentally dropped, they may be damaged.

Furthermore, when using a portable electronic device, a simple, smooth housing is not suitable for operation and is often inconvenient for watching videos or holding the device.

Therefore, providing an electronic device protective cover that can effectively protect the electronic device housed therein, is easy to carry, and allows users to watch videos conveniently will help improve the safety and convenience of using the electronic device.

One purpose of the present invention is to provide an electronic device protective cover that can effectively protect the electronic device housed therein and make the use of the electronic device safer and more convenient.

To achieve the aforementioned objectives, one embodiment of the present invention provides an electronic device protective cover for protecting an electronic device. The electronic device protective cover comprises a first protective housing, a second protective housing, a hinge, and a rotatable hand strap module. The hinge is connected between the first and second protective housings, and the rotatable hand strap module is rotatably mounted on the second protective housing.

In some embodiments, the first protective shell includes a first protective corner, a second protective corner, and a connecting portion connected between the first protective corner and the second protective corner.

In some embodiments, the second protective housing includes a bottom plate, a third protective corner, and a fourth protective corner. The third protective corner is disposed on the bottom plate, and the fourth protective corner is disposed on the bottom plate. The first and second protective corners are symmetrically disposed relative to the third and fourth protective corners.

In some embodiments, the second protective housing can rotate along the pivot axis by a predetermined angle.

In some embodiments, the rotatable hand strap module includes a turntable and a hand strap. The turntable is rotatably mounted on the second protective housing, and the hand strap is threaded through the turntable.

In some embodiments, the rotatable hand strap module further includes a fixed shaft that passes through the turntable and the second protective shell, so that the rotatable hand strap module can be rotatably mounted on the second protective shell.

In some embodiments, the fixed shaft includes an external threaded screw and an internal threaded screw. The internal threaded screw is inserted into the rotating disk and the second protective shell, and the external threaded screw is fixed to the internal threaded screw, so that the rotatable hand strap module can be rotatably mounted on the second protective shell.

In some embodiments, the wrist strap includes a first U-shaped portion, a second U-shaped portion connected to the first U-shaped portion, and a third U-shaped portion connected to the second U-shaped portion.

In some embodiments, the rotatable hand strap module further includes a fixing ring, and the first U-shaped portion of the hand strap is fixed to the fixing ring.

In some embodiments, the second U-shaped portion of the hand strap is fixed to the turntable.

In some embodiments, the third U-shaped portion of the hand strap passes through the fixing ring to adjust the tightness of the hand strap.

In some embodiments, the rotatable wristband module further includes a fitting device fixed to the third U-shaped portion of the wristband to adjust the tightness of the wristband as needed.

In some embodiments, the turntable of the rotatable hand strap module is connected to the hand strap, and the turntable and the hand strap are double-injected and integrally molded.

In some embodiments, the rotatable hand strap module further includes a fixing ring connected to the turntable, and the fixing ring, the turntable and the hand strap are double-injected and integrally formed.

In some embodiments, the rotatable wristband module further includes a fitting device formed on the wristband to adjust the tightness of the wristband as needed.

According to another aspect of the present invention, an electronic device protective cover is disclosed for protecting an electronic device. The electronic device protective cover includes a first protective housing, a second protective housing, a hinge, and a rotatable hand strap module. The hinge is connected between the first and second protective housings, and the first and second protective housings surround the electronic device. Furthermore, the rotatable hand strap module is rotatably mounted on the second protective housing.

In some embodiments, the first protective housing includes a first protective corner, a second protective corner, and a connecting portion connected between the first and second protective corners, wherein the first protective corner is fixed to a first corner of the electronic device, and the second protective corner is fixed to a second corner of the electronic device.

In some embodiments, the second protective housing includes a base, a third corner guard, and a fourth corner guard. The third corner guard is disposed on the base, and the fourth corner guard is also disposed on the base. The third corner guard is secured to a third corner of the electronic device, while the fourth corner guard is secured to a fourth corner of the electronic device. The first and second corner guards are symmetrically positioned relative to the third and fourth corner guards.

In some embodiments, the electronic device protective cover further includes a plurality of fixing devices, which are penetrated through the first protective corner, the second protective corner, the third protective corner, and the fourth protective corner, for fixing the first protective corner to the first corner of the electronic device, the second protective corner to the second corner of the electronic device, the third protective corner to the third corner of the electronic device, and the fourth protective corner to the fourth corner of the electronic device.

In some embodiments, when the fixing device is partially released to separate the third corner protector from the third corner of the electronic device and the fourth corner protector from the fourth corner of the electronic device, the second protective cover can rotate along the pivot axis to make the electronic device stand on a plane.

Therefore, the electronic device protective cover can effectively protect the electronic device contained therein, is easy to carry and can facilitate users to watch videos, and can be conveniently used in various environments, effectively improving the safety and convenience of the electronic device when used.

In addition, FIG3 is an exploded schematic diagram of an electronic device protective cover and an electronic device according to another embodiment of the present invention.

First, referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , as shown in the figures, the electronic device protective cover 100 can be used to protect an electronic device 900 , such as a tablet computer, a mobile phone, or any other electronic device, which does not deviate from the spirit and protection scope of the present invention.

The electronic device protective cover 100 includes a first protective housing 110, a second protective housing 120, a hinge 130, and a rotatable hand strap module 200. The hinge 130 is connected between the first protective housing 110 and the second protective housing 120, allowing the second protective housing 120 to rotate relative to the first protective housing 110. The rotatable hand strap module 200 is rotatably mounted on the second protective housing 120. Therefore, the rotatable hand strap module 200 can not only rotate relative to the second protective housing 120, but also further rotate relative to the first protective housing 110.

In some embodiments, the first protective shell 110 and the second protective shell 120 of the electronic device protective cover 100 surround the electronic device 900 to effectively protect the electronic device 900 .

Therefore, when a user holds an electronic device using the rotatable hand strap module 200, the electronic device 900 installed therein can rotate in two or more directions relative to the user's hand. Preferably, the two rotation directions are perpendicular to each other, but the present invention is not limited thereto.

In some embodiments, the first protective housing 110 includes a first corner protection 112, a second corner protection 114, and a connecting portion 116. The connecting portion 116 connects the first corner protection 112 and the second corner protection 114. The first corner protection 112 is preferably fixed to the first corner 901 of the electronic device 900, while the second corner protection 114 is preferably fixed to the second corner 902 of the electronic device 900.

In some embodiments, the second protective shell 120 includes a bottom plate 126, a third corner protection 122, and a fourth corner protection 124. The third corner protection 122 and the fourth corner protection 124 are disposed on the bottom plate 126. Furthermore, the first corner protection 112 and the second corner protection 114 are preferably symmetrically disposed with the third corner protection 122 and the fourth corner protection 124.

In some embodiments, the third corner guard 122 is preferably fixed to the third corner 903 of the electronic device 900, while the fourth corner guard 124 is preferably fixed to the fourth corner 904 of the electronic device 900. This effectively utilizes the first corner guard 112, the second corner guard 114, the third corner guard 122, and the fourth corner guard 124 to protect the first corner 901, the second corner 902, the third corner 903, and the fourth corner 904 of the electronic device 900. Therefore, the four corners of the electronic device 900 can be safely protected by the electronic device protective cover 100, thereby enhancing the impact resistance of the electronic device 900.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that the second protective housing 120 can rotate along the pivot 130 by a predetermined angle, for example, greater than 5 degrees and less than 175 degrees, preferably between 30 degrees and 120 degrees. Therefore, the second protective housing 120 can also serve as a support leg for the electronic device 900, thereby supporting the electronic device 900 to stand on a flat surface, forming a viewing mode, making it easier for the user to browse the screen of the electronic device 900.

In some embodiments, the electronic device protective cover 100 further includes a plurality of fixing devices 400, a first fixing device 401, a second fixing device 402, a third fixing device 403 and a fourth fixing device 404, such as bolts, rivets, magnetic buckles or any other fixing devices, which do not deviate from the spirit and protection scope of the present invention. The first fixer 401, the second fixer 402, the third fixer 403 and the fourth fixer 404 of the fixing device 400 are respectively inserted into the first corner guard 112, the second corner guard 114, the third corner guard 122 and the fourth corner guard 124, so as to fix the first corner guard 112 to the first corner 901 of the electronic device 900, the second corner guard 114 to the second corner 902 of the electronic device 900, the third corner guard 122 to the third corner 903 of the electronic device 900, and the fourth corner guard 124 to the fourth corner 904 of the electronic device 900.

In some embodiments, when a portion of the fixing device 400, such as the third fixer 403 and the fourth fixer 404, is released, which can be quick-release screws or magnetic fixing devices, the third corner guard 122 can be separated from the third corner 903 of the electronic device 900, and the fourth corner guard 124 can be separated from the fourth corner 904 of the electronic device 900, so that the second protective shell 120 can rotate along the pivot 130, thereby allowing the electronic device 900 to stand on a flat surface such as a table.

Referring further to Figure 2 , the rotatable hand strap module 200 includes a turntable 220, a fixed shaft 210, and a hand strap 230. The turntable 220 is rotatably mounted on the second protective housing 120, while the hand strap 230 is inserted through the turntable 220. The fixed shaft 210 penetrates the turntable 220 and the second protective housing 120, allowing the rotatable hand strap module 200 to be rotatably mounted on the second protective housing 120.

In some embodiments, the fixed shaft 210 includes an external threaded screw 214 and an internal threaded screw 212. The internal threaded screw 212 passes through the rotating disk 220 and the second protective housing 120, and the external threaded screw 214 is fixed to the internal threaded screw 212, so that the rotatable hand strap module 200 can be rotatably mounted on the second protective housing 120.

In some embodiments, the hand strap 230 includes a first U-shaped portion 232, a second U-shaped portion 234, and a third U-shaped portion 236. The first U-shaped portion 232, the second U-shaped portion 234, and the third U-shaped portion 236 are sequentially connected. Furthermore, the rotatable hand strap module 200 further includes a fixing ring 240, to which the first U-shaped portion 232 of the hand strap 230 is fixed. Furthermore, the second U-shaped portion 234 of the hand strap 230 is fixed to the turntable 220. The third U-shaped portion 236 of the hand strap 230 passes through the fixing ring 240 to adjust the tightness of the hand strap 230.

In some embodiments, the rotatable wristband module 200 further includes a fitting device 250 secured to the third U-shaped portion 236 of the wristband 230 to adjust the tightness of the wristband 230 as needed. The fitting device 250 can be a Velcro fastener, a belt buckle, a button, or a magnetic buckle, all of which are within the spirit and scope of the present invention.

Further referring to FIG. 3 , as shown in the figure, the electronic device protective cover 100 can further utilize a rotatable hand strap module 300 , which is rotatably fixed on the second protective housing 120 using a fixed shaft 310 .

The fixed shaft 310 includes an external threaded screw 314 and an internal threaded screw 312. The internal threaded screw 312 passes through the rotating disk 320 and the second protective housing 120, and the external threaded screw 314 is fixed to the internal threaded screw 312, so that the rotatable hand strap module 300 can be rotatably mounted on the second protective housing 120.

In some embodiments, the turntable 320 of the rotatable hand strap module 300 is connected to the hand strap 330, and the turntable 320 and the hand strap 330 are double-injected and integrally molded.

In some embodiments, the rotatable wristband module 300 may further include a fixed ring 340, which is connected to the turntable 320, and the fixed ring 340, the turntable 320 and the wristband 330 are double-injected and integrally molded. This not only allows for convenient production of the rotatable wristband module 300, but also utilizes the double-injection integrally molded rotatable wristband module 300 to prevent the rotatable wristband module 300 from being affected by moisture, making it convenient for users to use the electronic device 900 in various environments.

Similarly, the rotatable wristband module 300 further includes a fitting device 350 formed on the wristband 330 to facilitate the user to adjust the tightness of the wristband 330 as needed. In some embodiments, the fitting device 350 can be a Velcro, a belt buckle, a button, or a magnetic buckle, all of which are within the spirit and scope of protection of the present invention.

In summary, the electronic device protective cover disclosed in the present invention can effectively protect the electronic device housed therein, is easy to carry and can facilitate users to watch videos, and can be conveniently used in various environments, effectively improving the safety and convenience of using the electronic device.

Claims (19)

A protective cover for an electronic device comprises: a first protective shell comprising a first protective corner and a second protective corner; a second protective shell comprising a third protective corner and a fourth protective corner; a pivot connected between the first protective shell and the second protective shell; a rotatable hand strap module rotatably mounted on the second protective shell, wherein both the rotatable hand strap module and the second protective shell are rotatable relative to the first protective shell; and a plurality of fixing devices, wherein the fixing devices are respectively disposed through the first protective corner, the second protective corner, the third protective corner, and the fourth protective corner, and the fixing devices disposed through the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner are quick-release screws or magnetic fixing devices. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 1, wherein the first protective shell further includes: a connecting portion connected between the first protective corner and the second protective corner. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 2, wherein the second protective shell further includes: a base plate, wherein the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner are arranged on the base plate, wherein the first protective corner and the second protective corner are symmetrically arranged with the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner. The electronic device protective cover as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the second protective shell can be rotated along the pivot by a predetermined angle. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 1, wherein the rotatable hand strap module includes: a turntable rotatably mounted on the second protective shell; and a hand strap passed through the turntable. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 5, wherein the rotatable hand strap module further includes: a fixed shaft passing through the turntable and the second protective shell, so that the rotatable hand strap module can be rotatably installed on the second protective shell. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 6, wherein the fixed rotating shaft includes: an internal threaded screw passing through the turntable and the second protective shell; and an external threaded screw fixed to the internal threaded screw so that the rotatable hand strap module can be rotatably mounted on the second protective shell. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 5, wherein the wrist strap includes a first U-shaped portion, a second U-shaped portion connected to the first U-shaped portion, and a third U-shaped portion connected to the second U-shaped portion. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 8, wherein the rotatable hand strap module further includes: a fixing ring, and the first U-shaped portion of the hand strap is fixed to the fixing ring. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 9, wherein the second U-shaped portion of the hand strap is fixed to the turntable. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 10, wherein the third U-shaped portion of the hand strap passes through the fixing ring to adjust the tightness of the hand strap. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 11, wherein the rotatable wrist strap module further includes: a fitting device fixed to the third U-shaped portion of the wrist strap to adjust the tightness of the wrist strap as needed. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 5, wherein the turntable of the rotatable hand strap module is connected to the hand strap, and the turntable and the hand strap are double-injected and integrally molded. As described in claim 13, the electronic device protective cover, wherein the rotatable hand strap module further includes a fixing ring, the fixing ring is connected to the turntable, and the fixing ring, the turntable and the hand strap are double-injected and integrally molded. As described in claim 14, the electronic device protective cover, wherein the rotatable wrist strap module further includes a fitting device formed on the wrist strap to adjust the tightness of the wrist strap as needed. An electronic device protective cover for protecting an electronic device, comprising: a first protective shell, comprising a first protective corner and a second protective corner, wherein the first protective corner is fixed to a first corner of the electronic device, and the second protective corner is fixed to a second corner of the electronic device; a second protective shell, comprising a third protective corner and a fourth protective corner; a hinge connected between the first protective shell and the second protective shell, wherein the first protective shell and the second protective shell are Surrounding the electronic device; a rotatable hand strap module, rotatably mounted on the second protective shell, and the rotatable hand strap module and the second protective shell can both rotate relative to the first protective shell; and a plurality of fixing devices, wherein the fixing devices are respectively passed through the first protective corner, the second protective corner, the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner, and the fixing devices passed through the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner are quick-release screws or magnetic fixing devices. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 16, wherein the first protective shell further includes: a connecting portion connected between the first protective corner and the second protective corner. The electronic device protective cover as described in claim 17, wherein the second protective shell further includes: a base plate, wherein the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner are arranged on the base plate, wherein the third protective corner is fixed to a third corner of the electronic device, and the fourth protective corner is fixed to a fourth corner of the electronic device, and the first protective corner and the second protective corner are symmetrically arranged with the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner. As described in claim 18, the protective cover for an electronic device, wherein, when the fixing devices passing through the third protective corner and the fourth protective corner are released, the third protective corner is separated from the third corner of the electronic device, and the fourth protective corner is separated from the fourth corner of the electronic device, the second protective shell can be rotated along the pivot so that the electronic device stands on a plane.
