Abstract

According to various example embodiments of the present disclosure, a method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service may include acquiring item rental contract list information of a user using an item rental service, identifying, based on the item rental contract list information, identification information of one or more items being rented and rental contract details information, providing, on a first page, information on an individual item and information on accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of one or more items being rented, and management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details information, identifying a first user input to one of the one or more items being rented, and providing a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

Description

Method for providing information about item rental services and electronic device using the same

Various exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for providing information about item rental services and an electronic device using the same.

With the development of devices such as smartphones, the number of users using e-commerce service platforms is increasing. Specifically, as the primary shopping platform for offline transactions has shifted to online, more and more items are being purchased through e-commerce service platforms.

Recently, consumption patterns among users of e-commerce service platforms have led to the rental and purchase of items. Specifically, a rental service in which a user can use an item within a specific period and then return it may require a method for continuously providing item management information.

In this regard, reference may be made to, for example, Korean Patent Application Publication No. 10-2006-0007603, but it does not disclose a method for providing management service information regarding rental items.

The present invention is proposed to solve the above-mentioned problem and provides a method for providing, on a page in an item rental service, management service status information regarding a rental item for which a user has signed a contract, and an electronic device using the method.

The present invention also provides information suitable for the use of a rented item based on management service information or related accessory information set for a specific item for continuous management of the rented item.

The technical tasks to be achieved by the present invention are not limited to the technical problems described above, and other technical tasks can be inferred from the following exemplary embodiments.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service is provided, the method comprising: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using the item rental service; identifying identification information and rental contract details of one or more rented items based on the item rental contract list information; A page provides information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of one or more rented items, as well as management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifies a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and provides a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device for an item rental service is provided, the device comprising a memory and a processor, wherein the processor can be configured to: obtain item rental contract list information of a user using the item rental service from the memory; identify identification information and rental contract details of at least one rented item based on the item rental contract list information; information; providing, on a first page, information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items, as well as management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and providing a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium is provided, the medium comprising a medium configured to store computer-readable instructions, wherein when executed by a processor, the computer-readable instructions allow the processor to execute an information providing method, the information providing method comprising: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using an item rental service; identifying a user who has rented an item based on the item rental contract list information; identification information of one or more rented items and rental contract details; providing, on a first page, information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items, as well as management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and providing a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

A method for providing information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention can provide necessary information to a user of an item rental service at a predetermined time based on the rental contract list information of the user according to a management service procedure set for a specific item.

An electronic device according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention can deliver accessories for an item rental service, allowing a user to manage a rental item without requiring the management of a visiting staff member, and provides a separate accessory sales page where the user can purchase the accessory at an appropriate time.

Furthermore, a method for providing information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention may provide a rental information details page, allowing a user of an item rental service to easily and clearly identify the current management status of a rented item and various information related to a rental contract.

When considering the functions achieved by the present invention, the terms used in the exemplary embodiments are selected from currently widely used general terms whenever possible. However, these terms may be replaced with other terms based on the intentions, customs, emergence of new technologies, or similar factors of those skilled in the art. Furthermore, in certain circumstances, terms arbitrarily selected by the applicants of the present invention may be used. The "terminal" referred to below can be implemented as a computer or a portable terminal capable of accessing a server or another terminal via a network. Here, a computer may include, for example, a laptop equipped with a web browser, a desktop computer, and a notebook computer. A portable terminal may be a wireless communication device that ensures portability and mobility, and includes any type of handheld wireless communication device, such as a tablet PC, a smartphone, or a terminal based on communications such as International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA), and Long Term Evolution (LTE).

FIG1 is a block diagram illustrating a device for providing an item rental service according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to Figure 1, an electronic device 100 and an external device 200 can each exchange data with different nodes, and the nodes can be connected through a network.

Electronic device 100 may be a device related to an item rental service. The item rental service may be a platform that provides rental services when selling a pre-ordered item, and the platform providing this service may be an e-commerce platform. Electronic device 100 may include a device that manages and operates the item rental service platform as a whole, and may be an item rental and sales service server.

Electronic device 100 may include, but is not limited to, a processor, a transceiver, and a memory as internal components. The processor of electronic device 100 may process a series of steps for executing a method for providing information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention. The processor may also control other components of electronic device 100.

The transceiver of the electronic device 100 can transmit information stored in the memory of the electronic device 100 or information processed by the processor to other devices, or receive information from other devices into the electronic device 100. As an example, the electronic device 100 can exchange information with the external device 200 through the transceiver.

Electronic device 100 can implement item rental by directly purchasing the item and renting it to a user, or by arranging for an item rental through an external rental company. For example, electronic device 100 can directly purchase an item, check the inventory of the item and its accessories, and provide the user with rental services and a management service. For another example, electronic device 100 can rent an item to a user through an external rental company, and the external rental company can provide the user with management service records and a management service.

The storage of electronic device 100 is a data structure implemented in a predetermined storage space of electronic device 100 and can freely perform functions such as storing, searching, deleting, editing, or adding data. As an example, the storage may include fields or components for processing functions such as storing, searching, deleting, editing, or adding data. The storage may be provided on a separate cloud server or database server. Electronic device 100 can retrieve and identify data provided by the item rental service from the storage.

The electronic device 100 can load information from its memory regarding an account of a user who subscribes to a service. For example, the information regarding a user's account may include a list of rental contracts signed under the user's account. The electronic device 100 can also manually store information regarding a management service program for an item available for rent under an item rental service in its memory. For example, when a specific user signs a rental contract for a water purifier, the electronic device 100 can store in its memory manual information regarding a management service program for a filter replacement cycle used for regular management of the water purifier. In addition, the electronic device 100 can load information about the management service program of individual rental items stored in the memory.

Specifically, the electronic device 100 can load manualized information about an individual management service program from the memory depending on the type of the individual rental item. As an example, the electronic device 100 can recognize information about the management service program for an individual item contained in information about a list of rental contracts signed by each user using the service. The electronic device 100 can recognize identification information about an item based on information about a rental contract list of an individual user using the rental service. The identification information about an item includes information by which a user can confirm to which category the item rented by the user through a signed rental contract belongs. In addition, the identification information about an item includes information about accessories of the item. The electronic device 100 can identify a management service program for the item and information about accessories required for the management service based on the item's identification information.

External device 200 may include a device connected to electronic device 100 via a network through an internal communication module or a transceiver. As one example, external device 200 may be implemented as a database server (including a storage device). Specifically, the database server may be a server that stores information regarding the collection location of items upon cancellation of a contract or termination of use of a rental item. As another example, external device 200 may include a terminal of a user using a rental item service.

FIG2 is a flow chart illustrating a method for providing information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 2 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) can provide information about at least one rental item included in the item rental contract list information to a user utilizing an item rental service.

In operation S210, the electronic device may obtain item rental contract list information. The item rental contract list information may include rental contract information regarding at least one rental item. For example, when a first user signs a rental contract for a first water purifier and a first air purifier, the electronic device may obtain the rental contract information regarding the first water purifier and the rental contract information regarding the first air purifier signed by the first user.

According to various exemplary embodiments, item rental contract information may include identification information about an item subject to a rental contract and rental contract details. For example, the item identification information may include information such as the item's category, the location of a shipping fulfillment center, and the location of a collection fulfillment center. Specifically, the item identification information may be used to identify information about a management service program used to manage the item during a rental period. The electronic device may execute an item management service program during a user's rental contract period based on the item identification information. As another example, the rental contract details may include a scheduled visit date for the leased item, records of performed management services, payment information, contract information, and a scheduled delivery date. The electronic device may provide management service-related information based on the rental contract details. The management service-related information may be information indicating the current management service phase of the leased item. For example, if the current management service phase for the first water purifier for which the first user has signed a rental contract is "filter replacement," the electronic device may provide management service-related information such as "a manager's scheduled visit date and the purpose of the visit" or "a scheduled delivery date for spare parts and information about the spare parts." Information related to such management services is provided on the first page and will be described in detail in the example of Figure 3.

In operation S220, the electronic device may identify identification information and rental contract details related to an item. The electronic device may identify information related to at least one rental contract included in an item rental contract list. Information identifiable based on the rental contract information may include identification information and rental contract details related to one or more rented items. Upon obtaining information related to an item rental contract list for a particular user, the electronic device may identify information related to an overall management service for rented items, including identification information and detailed information of a particular item included in the information related to the item rental contract list. Item identification information may include information about an item category and its accessories. Rental contract details may include management service record information for a rented item. Specifically, management service-related information provided on a first page via the rental contract details may include information about the current management service stage of the rented item. This will be explained with reference to FIG3.

In operation S230, the electronic device may recognize a user input for a rented item. The user input may be an input through a user's terminal (e.g., external device 200 in FIG. 1 ). Upon obtaining the user input, the electronic device may execute a program corresponding to the input. The user input recognized in operation S230 may correspond to a first user input. The first user input may be an input for selecting one of the one or more rented items. The electronic device may recognize the first user input for one of the one or more rented items displayed on the first page. The first user input may be an input for moving from the first page to a rental detail information page to identify rental detail information about the selected item. The first page may correspond to a page shown in FIG. 3 .

In operation S240, the electronic device may provide a rental details information page in response to a user input. The rental details information page may correspond to a second page. On the rental details information page, the electronic device may provide name information, image information, color information, brand information, management service details information, cash points information, payment information, contract information, cancellation information, and the like of an item subject to a rental contract. Specifically, the rental details information page may be a page on which a user can identify comprehensive information (such as a contract, management services, and cancellation) of a particular rented item. The rental details information page will be described with reference to FIG. 5 .

FIG3 is a diagram illustrating an exemplary page displaying lease contract list information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 3 , a first page 300 may be a page used to identify comprehensive information about at least one rental item of a user using an item rental service. Specifically, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may provide the user with information about the item for which a rental contract has been signed on first page 300 .

According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic device may provide rental status information 311 and cancellation/termination record information 312 in the columns of the first page 300. Rental status information 311 may include information about an item currently being rented by the user. Cancellation/termination record information 312 may include information about an item whose rental service has been canceled or terminated by the user. In response to an input in a respective column, the electronic device may provide information 320 corresponding to the corresponding column on the first page 300. The example of FIG. 3 will be described based on information corresponding to an input in the rental status information 311.

According to an exemplary embodiment, an electronic device may provide information 321 and 322 about individual items currently being rented by a user. The information 321 and 322 about the individual items may be categorized and provided for each item. Furthermore, the electronic device may identify a management type for the individual item based on the identification information of the individual item. Management types include a first type and a second type. The first type includes a visit management type (e.g., visit type) in which a visitor performs management of the replacement of an individual item and its accessories. The second type includes a self-management type (e.g., self type) in which a user performs management of the replacement of an individual item and its accessories. In response to the identified management type, the electronic device may provide management type information 333 and 343 about the individual item.

3 , the electronic device can construct and provide information 321 and 322 about individual items differently based on management type information 333 and 343. As an example, the electronic device can provide access staff information 334, scheduled access date information 335, access purpose information 336, access date change field information 337, and access staff contact field information 339 for an item (e.g., a water purifier) corresponding to management type information 333 associated with the access management type. For another example, the electronic device may provide delivered parts information 344, scheduled delivery date information 345, parts information 346, and delivery date change field information 347 for an item (e.g., an air purifier) corresponding to management type information 343 associated with a self-management type. That is, depending on the management type information 333, 343, the information 321, 322 regarding a rented item may include different information.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device may provide management service-related information for a particular item. The management service-related information may include information regarding the current management status of the particular item (e.g., information regarding the current management service phase). As an example, the current management status information may include information indicating the current management service phase of the particular item, such as management type information 333, 343, scheduled access date information 335, and scheduled delivery date information 345. Users can identify the current management status of a rented particular item on the first page 300.

According to an exemplary embodiment, an electronic device can identify scheduled parts replacement status information for a particular item corresponding to current management status information. The scheduled parts replacement status information can be information representing parts replacement for the particular item using text or text and an image, such as access purpose information 336 and parts information 346. The electronic device can provide a sales details page for the part based on the scheduled parts replacement status information. Upon receiving input regarding access purpose information 336 or parts information 346, the electronic device can provide the user with a sales details page for the corresponding part.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic device may provide the first page 300 with the name information 330 and image information 331 of the rented individual item, as well as the user's rental membership usage information 332. The electronic device may identify the name information 330 and image information 331 of the individual item based on the identification information of the individual item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may provide a selection area 340 for providing a rental details information page. As shown in FIG3 , the selection area 340 may be provided for each rental item. The electronic device may also provide after-sales service (A/S, e.g., customer service) request information 338 for each rental item. In response to input into the A/S request information 338, the electronic device may provide an A/S request page.

According to various exemplary embodiments, information based on the rental contract list information provided by the electronic device may be provided on the first page 300, but is not limited to the example of FIG. 3 .

FIG4 is a flowchart illustrating the provision of a sales page for an accessory according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may additionally provide a sales page for accessories of a rented individual item.

In operation S410, the electronic device may recognize a user input regarding information about accessories for a particular item. The user input may be in response to a selection input regarding access purpose information 336 or accessory information 346 in FIG. 3 . Accessories may be sold in the item rental service.

In operation S420, the electronic device may provide a sales page for the accessory in response to the user input. The user may directly purchase the accessory on the sales page. Providing the sales page for the accessory by the electronic device may increase additional sales profits from the item rental service.

The electronic device may provide item sales page banner information, item sales page banner information about different accessories of an item, and item sales page banner information on a sales page about an accessory. As an example, the item sales page banner information may be information that briefly displays an image, name, price, and the like of an item so as to facilitate movement to the sales page of the item to which the accessory is coupled. In response to input of the item sales page banner information, the electronic device may provide an item sales page. The item sales page may be a page where the item can be sold or rented. As another example, the sales page banner information about different accessories of an item may be information that is displayed so as to facilitate movement to a sales page of an accessory that is different from the accessory on the accessory's current sales page. When the accessory currently listed on the accessory sales page is a "cassette," the different accessory may be a "filter." As another example, different item sales page banner information may be information displayed to redirect to a sales page for an item different from the rented item. When the item is a "water purifier," the different item may be an "air purifier." The electronic device may provide different item sales page banner information to encourage the sale or rental of an item different from the rented item.

FIG5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a rental details information page according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 5 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may provide a rental details information page 500 in response to a first user input. The rental details information page 500 may be a second page.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic device may provide management service record information 510, cash points information 520, payment information 530, contract information 540, and cancellation information 550 on the rental details information page 500.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the management service record information 510 may include information regarding a rental item's usage start date, information regarding a scheduled replacement date for an accessory, information regarding an item's usage end date, and information regarding a scheduled cleaning date for the accessory. The electronic device may identify the management service record information 510 based on the identification information of the individual item. The electronic device may list the management service record information 510 in chronological order. For example, the electronic device may list individual management service records based on individual management service dates with a timeline. This will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 6 .

According to an exemplary embodiment, cash points information 520 includes information about cash points earned based on signing a rental contract for a rental item and replacing or purchasing accessories. Cash points include points that can be used for rentals or purchases within the rental service. See the examples shown in FIG. 9A and FIG. 9B for more details regarding cash points information 520.

According to an exemplary embodiment, payment information 530 may include payment information when signing a lease contract. Depending on a unit of a lease payment period, payment information 530 includes payment amount information, payment option information, payment date information (e.g., settlement date), and information regarding changes to a payment option.

According to an exemplary embodiment, contract information 540 may include information about a lease contract. More details regarding contract information 540 are described in the example of FIG. 12 .

According to an exemplary embodiment, cancellation information 550 includes cancellation field information for canceling a rental contract. Upon receiving an input regarding cancellation information 550, the electronic device may provide a page regarding rental cancellation. The input regarding cancellation information 550 may correspond to a third-party user input. More details regarding cancellation information 550 are described with reference to the example of FIG. 11.

FIG6 is a diagram illustrating an example of management service record information regarding a rented individual item according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 6 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may provide management service record information 510 in chronological order using a timeline. The management service record information 510 may be information used to identify the execution record of a rental item management service program.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device can identify the current management service status corresponding to a rental item through manualized management service procedure information. Management service record information 510 includes service date information 610, which is divided into individual management service date information 611, 612, and 613. The electronic device can provide management service procedure information 620 corresponding to service date information 610, which is divided into individual management service procedure information 621, 622, and 623.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device can determine a period for executing a management service for a particular item. Based on a manual management service procedure, the electronic device can determine whether a particular accessory needs to be replaced after a specified period from the item's start date. Specifically, the electronic device can manage a schedule for a management service for a particular rental item. The schedule can be determined based on lifespan information about the item's accessories.

Referring to Figure 6 , the electronic device can provide a timeline 630 for the management service record information 510. Timeline 630 is a line with a chronological order, and timeline 630 in Figure 6 shows time flowing from bottom to top. Each point on timeline 630 represents a specific date and a location on timeline 630 of the management service record corresponding to that specific date. Referring to Figure 6 , the electronic device can display the current stage of a management service process on the timeline. In other words, the electronic device can display the current management service status of the rental item. The current management service status in Figure 6 is displayed as a bold dot 631 to be distinguished from other dots. Figure 6 illustrates three parts of the management service record information 510 provided by the electronic device, and this is merely an example.

According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic device may update the management service log information 510 daily. For example, in FIG6 , if there is a management service process for "2022.3.15", the electronic device may send the individual management service process information 623 for "2021.8.25" downward according to the time flow so as not to display it, and may display the information about the management service process for "2022.3.15" at the top. Here, the top portion may refer to the location where the individual management service process information 621 for "2022.2.25" is displayed, as shown in FIG6 .

According to an exemplary embodiment, a method of providing the management service record information 510 by an electronic device is not limited to the timeline 630. The electronic device can provide information using various methods, and the user can easily identify the management service record information 510 of the rental item through these methods.

FIG7 is a flowchart illustrating the updating of management service record information depending on a management type of a rented individual item according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S710, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may identify a management type for an individual item. Management types may include a first type and a second type. When identifying the management type of an individual item, the electronic device may provide different information for each management type. As one example, the electronic device may include and provide information regarding "visiting staff" for items of the first type. As another example, the electronic device may include and provide information regarding "replacement time and delivery information" for items of the second type. Specifically, items of the second type include items that a user needs to replace after receiving an accessory.

In operation S720, the electronic device may update management service record information. When the individual item being rented by the user is of the first type, the electronic device may update the management service record information in response to receiving management service progress status information. For example, the electronic device may receive management service progress status information from an external company or a visitor management server. The external company may be a company responsible for managing rented items, and the visitor management server may be a server that manages information regarding visitor personnel directly employed by an item rental service.

In operation S730, the electronic device may update management service record information based on the inventory status of an accessory. The inventory status of the accessory may be the inventory status of an accessory sold by the electronic device in the item rental service. The electronic device may continuously identify inventory information about the accessory. Specifically, the electronic device may determine the inventory status based on the current inventory information of the accessory. The electronic device may adjust the scheduling of management service record information for individual items based on the availability of the accessory. For example, if the accessory is currently out of stock, the electronic device may adjust the scheduling of management service record information for an item corresponding to the accessory based on when the accessory becomes available.

In operation S740, the electronic device may update the management service record information over time. If the individual item rented by the user is of the second type, the electronic device may update the management service record information as the individual management service date passes. The second type of item includes an item for which the user has replaced an accessory. When the user receives the accessory, the electronic device may determine that the user has replaced the accessory. Therefore, once the individual management service date has passed, the electronic device may update the management service record information with information from the next process.

FIG8 is a flowchart illustrating the provision of information regarding cash integration according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S810, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may identify cash points information associated with a particular item. The electronic device may identify cash points information associated with an item rental service based on item rental contract information. The cash points information may include information regarding cash points provided to a user based on the rental contract details.

In operation S820, the electronic device may provide detailed cash points information for individual items. The cash points information may include overall cash points information for the rental service, cash points information for individual items, and cash points information for accessories associated with the individual items. Specifically, a user may receive cash points based on a rental service contract and the purchase of accessories for a rental item. The electronic device may provide cash points information on a rental details page. Alternatively, the electronic device may provide information on a separate page that categorizes cash points information for each item. This separate page is explained with reference to FIG. 9B .

FIG9A and FIG9B are diagrams each showing an example of information regarding cash integration according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 9A , an electronic device (e.g., the electronic device of FIG. 1 ) may provide cash points information 520 . The cash points information 520 may include information 910 about cash points to be earned this month and total accumulated cash points information 920 . Upon receiving an input to a selection area 930 for providing information categorizing the cash points information 520 by item, the electronic device may provide a separate page as shown in FIG. 9B .

Referring to FIG. 9B , the electronic device may provide a separate page 940 regarding cash points information. Specifically, the electronic device may provide the cash points information 520 of FIG. 9A as information 941 for each item. For example, information 910 regarding cash points to be earned this month may include information regarding cash points generated from the replacement of a first accessory with a second accessory (e.g., A/S). Information 941 for each item may include cash points information for a rental agreement.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device may provide information regarding cash points generated under a lease contract and management. A method of providing cash point information via an electronic device is not limited to the examples shown in Figures 9A and 9B.

FIG10 is a flowchart illustrating providing information in response to a lease cancellation input according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

In operation S1010, an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may provide a rental cancellation-related page in response to a user input. Here, the user input may correspond to a third user input. The rental cancellation-related page may be a page that directs a user to view information regarding premature cancellation under a rental contract.

In operation S1020, the electronic device may provide rental cancellation-related information to a rental cancellation-related page. The rental cancellation-related page and rental cancellation-related information will be described with reference to FIG11.

In operation S1030, the electronic device may identify a server that performs collection of individual items. For example, a different collection location may be designated for each individual item. The electronic device may identify a server that collects the individual item based on the identification information of the individual item. The server that performs collection may be a server of an external company or a collection server operated by an item rental service.

In operation S1040, the electronic device may provide collection-related information to the server. Based on a rental cancellation input, the collection-related information may include information about a designated collection date for a target item for rental cancellation, information about the target item for rental cancellation, and collection location information. The electronic device may provide the collection-related information to the server that performs collection of individual items.

FIG11 is a diagram illustrating an example of providing information in response to an input of a lease cancellation according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 11 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 in FIG. 1 ) may provide a rental cancellation-related page 1100 . Upon receiving a third user input regarding the rental cancellation information 550 in FIG. 5 , the electronic device may provide the rental cancellation-related page 1100 in FIG. 11 .

According to various exemplary embodiments, the electronic device may briefly provide rental contract information 1110. Rental contract information 1110 may be information provided to a user to confirm whether an item is the correct item for canceling a rental contract.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may briefly provide price information 1120 for canceling a lease. Price information 1120 for canceling a lease may include penalty information, lease price information, total lease price information, total expected payment amount information, and payment option information. The electronic device may provide price information 1120 for canceling a lease so that the user can clearly understand the amount of money to be borne by the user due to the lease contract cancellation. Alternatively, the electronic device may transmit a message (e.g., SMS) containing price information 1120 for canceling a lease to a user's terminal via a separate push server. The user can use this message to briefly view price information 1120 related to cancellations under a rental contract.

Upon receiving an input to a cancellation confirmation area 1130 , the electronic device may confirm the cancellation of the rental contract. As one example, when confirming the cancellation of the rental contract, the electronic device may update the item rental contract list information. As another example, when confirming that a particular user has signed a new rental contract, the electronic device may update the item rental contract list information.

FIG12 is a diagram illustrating an example of changes to contract information according to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 12 , an electronic device (e.g., electronic device 100 of FIG. 1 ) may provide a contract details information page 1200 . Upon receiving user input regarding the contract information 540 of FIG. 5 , the electronic device may provide the contract details information page 1200 of FIG. 12 .

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, the contract details page 1200 may include a contract change area 1210, contractor name information 1211, contractor contact information 1212, contractor address information 1213, contractor email information 1214, and contract description information. A user may input data into the contract change area 1210 to change contract details. Contract details changes may include changes to the contractor name information 1211, contractor contact information 1212, contractor address information 1213, and contractor email information 1214.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may receive a contract change input. The contract change input may correspond to a selection input in the contract change area 1210. Upon receiving the contract change input, the electronic device may update the item rental contract list information.

According to various exemplary embodiments, in the case of an item of the first type, the electronic device may provide updated item rental contract list information to a second server. The second server may be a server of an external company. The external company may be a company that manages access staff for a corresponding rental item.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device may obtain sales page information about an individual item in a rental item service and sales page information about accessories for the individual item. Review information about the individual item may be included in a sales page for the individual item. The review information about the individual item may correspond to first review information. Review information about the accessory may be included in a sales page for an accessory for the individual item. The review information about the accessory may correspond to second review information. As one example, the electronic device may provide first review information and second review information on a sales page for the individual item. As another example, the electronic device may provide the first review information and second review information to a sales page for an accessory. Specifically, the electronic device may provide the first review information and the second review information in combination to increase user accessibility to the sales page for a particular item or accessory.

According to various exemplary embodiments, an electronic device can view the quantity of accessories for a particular item in an item rental service. For example, the electronic device can view the sales quantity and replacement quantity of an accessory for a particular item. The sales and replacement quantities of the accessory can be reflected in the inventory quantity of all accessories managed by the electronic device. The electronic device can separately request an order for the necessary quantity of accessories based on the inventory status, sales quantity, and replacement quantity of the accessories in the rental service. The request for the accessory ordered by the electronic device can be made to an external company identified as supplying the accessory. In addition to an item rental service, the electronic device can also initiate an item sales service. In this case, a separate server can be located to execute the item sales service. As an example, an electronic device may request an order for a necessary quantity of accessories from a server where an item sales service is executed.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service may include: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using the item rental service; identifying identification information and rental contract details of one or more rented items based on the item rental contract list information; displaying the information on a first page; The user interface includes information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items, and management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifies a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and provides a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the management service-related information includes current management service status information of the management service information of the individual item. The method further includes recognizing a second user input regarding information about accessories for the individual item, and providing a sales page for the accessories for the individual item in response to the second user input.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the individual item is configured to have a management type of either a first type or a second type. The identification information of the individual item includes information regarding the management type. The first type may include an access management type in which an access staff member performs management of the individual item and replacement of its accessories, and the second type may include a self-management type in which the user performs management of the individual item and replacement of its accessories.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the method may further include providing at least one of management service record information, contract information, and payment information on the rental details information page based on the rental contract details information.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the management service record information may include at least one of information regarding a usage start date of the individual item, information regarding a scheduled replacement date for accessories, information regarding an usage end date for the item, and information regarding a scheduled cleaning date for accessories for the item. According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, when the individual item is of a first type, the management service record information may be updated in response to receipt of progress status information from the management service.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, in a method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the information about the accessories of the individual item and the management service record information are updated based on the inventory status of the accessories.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device for an item rental service is provided, the electronic device comprising a memory and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: obtain item rental contract list information of a user using an item rental service from the memory; identify identification information and rental contract details of at least one of the rented items based on the item rental contract list information; providing, on a first page, information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items, and management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and providing a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

According to various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium includes a medium configured to store computer-readable instructions, wherein when executed by a processor, the computer-readable instructions allow the processor to execute an information providing method, the information providing method may include: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using an item rental service; identifying one or more items rented based on the item rental contract list information; Identification information and rental contract details of an item; providing, on a first page, information about an individual item and information about accessories of the individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items, as well as management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding one of the one or more rented items; and providing a rental details information page in response to the first user input.

A method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service, the method comprising: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using the item rental service; identifying identification information of one or more rented items and rental contract details based on the item rental contract list information; providing, on a first page, information about an individual item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items and information about accessories of the individual item; and Management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding the information about the individual item or the information about the accessories of the individual item; identifying a first review information on the sales page for the individual item or a second review information on the sales page for the accessories of the individual item; and providing the sales page for the individual item or the sales page for the accessories of the individual item containing the first review information and the second review information. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 1 further comprises: recognizing a second user input regarding one of the one or more items being rented; and providing a rental detail information page in response to the second user input. The method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 2 further comprises: providing at least one of management service record information, contract information, and payment information on the rental details information page based on the rental contract details information. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 3, wherein the management service record information includes at least one of information regarding a usage start date of the individual item, information regarding a scheduled replacement date of an accessory, information regarding an usage end date of the item, and information regarding a scheduled cleaning date of an accessory of the item, and the information regarding the individual item includes information in which required management service records are set based on a type of the individual item. The method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 3, wherein the management service record information has individual management service records listed in chronological order according to individual management service dates. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 5, wherein, when the individual item is of a first type, the management service record information is updated in response to receipt of progress status information from the management service. The method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 5, wherein the information about the accessories of the individual item and the management service record information are updated based on a stock status of the accessories. The method for providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 5, wherein when the individual item is of a second type, the management service record information is updated when the individual management service date has passed. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 2 further includes: identifying cash points information in the item rental service based on the item rental contract list information, wherein the cash points information includes information about cash points to be provided to the user based on the rental contract details information. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as described in claim 9, wherein the cash points information includes information about the total cash points in the rental service, the cash points for the individual item, and the cash points for accessories for the individual item, and the cash points information is provided on the rental details information page. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 2 further comprises: providing a rental cancellation-related page in response to a third user input on the rental details page; and providing, on the rental cancellation-related page, at least one of information regarding an expected penalty upon rental cancellation, information regarding a designated collection date for a target item for rental cancellation, and rental information of the target item for rental cancellation. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 11 further comprises: a server performing collection of the individual item based on information identifying the target item for the rental cancellation; and providing, in response to an input of the rental cancellation, at least one of information regarding a designated collection date for the target item for the rental cancellation, information regarding the target item for the rental cancellation, and information regarding a collection location for the target item for the rental cancellation to the identified server. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 2 further comprises: providing a contract details information page in response to an input of contract information on the rental details information page; obtaining a contract change input on the contract details information page; and updating the item rental contract list information in response to the contract change input. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 13, wherein the updated information input in response to the contract change includes at least one of contractor name information, contractor contact information, contractor email information, and contractor address information, and when the rented item is of a first type, the updated contractor address information is provided to a second server. The method of providing item rental information in an electronic device related to an item rental service as recited in claim 7 further includes: identifying a sales quantity and a replacement quantity of accessories for the individual item in the rental service; and requesting an order for the necessary quantity of accessories based on an inventory status of the accessories in the rental service, the sales quantity, and the replacement quantity. An electronic device related to an item rental service, comprising: a memory; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: obtain item rental contract list information of a user of the item rental service from the memory; identify identification information and rental contract details of at least one rented item based on the item rental contract list information; and provide, on a first page, information about a particular item corresponding to the identification information of the one or more rented items and information about the particular item. Accessory information, and management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding the information about the individual item or the information about the accessories for the individual item; identifying a first review information on the sales page for the individual item or a second review information on the sales page for the accessories for the individual item; and providing the sales page for the individual item or the sales page for the accessories for the individual item containing the first review information and the second review information. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising: a medium configured to store computer-readable instructions, wherein when executed by a processor, the computer-readable instructions allow the processor to execute an information providing method, the information providing method comprising: obtaining item rental contract list information of a user using an item rental service; identifying identification information and rental contract details of one or more rented items based on the item rental contract list information; providing a corresponding information about the one or more rented items on a first page; Information about a particular item and information about accessories for the particular item, as well as management service-related information corresponding to the rental contract details; identifying a first user input regarding the information about the particular item or the information about accessories for the particular item; identifying a first review information on the sales page for the particular item or a second review information on the sales page for accessories for the particular item; and providing the sales page for the particular item or the sales page for accessories for the particular item containing the first review information and the second review information.
