Abstract

A slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a second rail, a third rail, a blocking member, an auxiliary member and a damping device. The first, second and third rails are displaceable with respect to one another. The third rail is located between the first rail and the second rail. The auxiliary member is arranged at the second rail. The damping device is arranged at the third rail. When the second rail is displaced from an extending position toward a retracting direction, the damping device cannot be activated by the auxiliary member until the blocking member is moved.
