Abstract

A packaging box includes a box body and a lid body. The box body includes a bottom plate and a plurality of box side plates connecting a plurality of sides of the bottom plate. The plurality of box side plates includes a first box side plate having a slot. The lid body covers the box body and includes a top plate and a plurality of lid side plates connecting the top plate. The plurality of lid side plates includes a first lid side plate corresponding to the first box side plate. The first lid side plate includes a main portion leaning against the first box side plate, a flipping portion configured to flip relatively to the main portion, and a tongue portion connecting the flipping portion. The tongue portion moves with the flipping portion to be inserted into the slot or separated from the slot.

Description

Packaging Box

The present disclosure relates to a packaging box.

With the advancement of technology, electronic products (such as laptops, smartphones, and computer peripherals) have become an indispensable part of modern life. In order to prevent high-precision and fragile electronic products from being damaged by the external environment (such as water, dust, and impact) during transportation, electronic products are placed in packaging boxes and then shipped. In addition, packaging boxes with exquisite appearance can also play a role in increasing purchasing desire and promoting products.

In order to make the packaging box smooth and aesthetic, the side surface of the packaging box is usually a complete plane. However, this design makes it difficult for consumers to apply force to open the packaging box. The box body and the lid can only be separated by the weight of the product itself to let the box body slowly slide down. However, as electronic products are becoming lighter and lighter, not all electronic products have enough weight to make the box body fall easily. Therefore, it is still difficult to balance the smoothness of the appearance and the convenience of use of the existing packaging boxes.

The present disclosure provides a packaging box which has a flat appearance surface and is easy to open.

A packaging box disclosed in the present invention comprises a box body and a cover body. The box body comprises a bottom plate and a plurality of box side plates connected to a plurality of side edges of the bottom plate, wherein the plurality of box side plates comprise a first box side plate having a slot. The cover body covers the outside of the box body and comprises a top plate and a plurality of cover side plates connected to the top plate, wherein the plurality of cover side plates comprise a first cover side plate corresponding to the first box side plate, the first cover side plate comprises a main body portion leaning against the first box side plate, a folding portion adapted to be turned relative to the main body portion, and a tongue portion connected to the folding portion, and the tongue portion moves with the turning of the folding portion to be inserted into the slot or separated from the slot.

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the number of the first box side panels and the first cover side panels is two each, and the two first box side panels are connected to two opposite side edges of the bottom plate.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of box side panels include a second box side panel having a smooth outer surface, and a plurality of cover side panels include a second cover side panel having a smooth outer surface.

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the folding portion includes two connecting ends and a turning end opposite to each other, and the two connecting ends are connected to the main body so that the turning end can be turned relative to the main body.

In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the inserting tongue is located between the two connecting ends and is separated from the two connecting ends, so that when the two connecting ends are folded, the inserting tongue protrudes from the two connecting ends and can be inserted into the slot or separated from the slot.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, two opposite ends of the first cover side plate include tongues respectively, and the second cover side plates adjacent to the first cover side plates among the plurality of cover side plates are respectively formed by folding the plate in half to define a socket, and the tongues are used to be inserted into the adjacent sockets.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a tear line is provided between the folded portion and the main body. When the folded portion is turned over for the first time by an external force, the folded portion is torn along the tear line to separate from the main body.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the tear line includes a plurality of weak points arranged along the tearing direction.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of cover side panels completely cover a plurality of box side panels respectively.

In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the box body is formed in one piece, and the cover body is formed in one piece.

Based on the above, the packaging box disclosed in the present invention is provided with a folding portion and a tongue portion on the cover side plate of the cover body that can be turned over relative to the cover side plate body. The tongue portion is connected to the folding portion and can move with the turning of the folding portion to be inserted into or separated from the slot of the box side plate of the box body. Therefore, when the user wants to separate the cover body from the box body, he only needs to turn the folding portion upward so that the tongue portion moves to the position corresponding to the slot with the turning of the folding portion, and can be inserted into the slot to fix the position of the folding portion. In this way, the turned-up folding portion can be used as a force point to lift the cover body, so that the user can easily lift the cover body and separate it from the box body. Therefore, the packaging box disclosed in the present invention can have a flat outer surface, and the user can easily separate the cover body from the box body, thereby improving the aesthetics and convenience of use of the packaging box at the same time.

Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of the box body of a packaging box according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the box body of the packaging box of Fig. 1 after assembly. In some embodiments, the packaging box of the present disclosure may include a box body and a cover body that are buckled together, and the box body and the cover body can be folded into an independent paperboard in one piece. Please refer to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 at the same time, the box body 110 includes a bottom plate 112 and a plurality of box side plates 114, each box side plate 114 is connected to one of the plurality of side edges of the bottom plate 112, that is, the number of the box side plates 114 corresponds to the number of the side edges of the bottom plate 112. For example, the bottom plate 112 of the present embodiment is rectangular and has four side sides, and the box body 110 has four box side plates 114 correspondingly, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

In some embodiments, the plurality of box side panels 114 include a first box side panel 1141 having a slot 1144, and, in one embodiment, the plurality of box side panels 114 may further include a second box side panel 1142 having a smooth outer surface. Specifically, the second box side panel 1142 may have a smooth outer surface without the slot 1144. In this embodiment, the plurality of box side panels 114 may include two first box side panels 1141 having slots 1144 and two second box side panels 1142 without the slots 1144, and the two first box side panels 1141 are connected to opposite sides of the bottom plate 112, and the two second box side panels 1142 are connected to the other opposite sides of the bottom plate 112.

In some embodiments, the opposite ends (e.g., left and right ends) of the first box side panel 1141 respectively include tongue pieces 1143. The second box side panel 1142 adjacent to the first box side panel 1141 is formed by folding a plate (e.g., a paper board) along a fold line FL1 to define a socket, and the tongue piece 1143 of the first box side panel 1141 can be inserted into the socket of the adjacent second box side panel 1142 to form a three-dimensional box body 110 as shown in FIG. 2 . Of course, in other embodiments, the first box side panel 1141 may be folded along the fold line FL1 to form a socket, and the second box side panel 1142 may have a tongue 1143 that can be inserted into the socket. As long as the adjacent box side panels have a tongue 1143 and a socket formed by folding the panels to form a three-dimensional box body 110, the present disclosure is not limited to this.

Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of the unfolding of a cover of a packaging box according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of the assembled cover of the packaging box of Fig. 3. Please refer to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 at the same time. In some embodiments, the cover 120 covers the outside of the box body 110 and includes a top plate 122 and a plurality of cover side plates 124, each of which is connected to one of the plurality of side edges of the top plate 122. In other words, the number of the cover side plates 124 corresponds to the number of the side edges of the top plate 122. For example, the top plate 122 of the present embodiment corresponds to the bottom plate of the box body and is rectangular, and has four side edges, so the cover 120 has four cover side plates 124, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

Please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 , in some embodiments, the plurality of cover side panels 124 include a first cover side panel 1241, which is disposed corresponding to the first box side panel 1141 having the slot 1144. The first cover side panel 1241 includes a body portion 1246, a folding portion 1245, and a tongue portion 1244. When the cover body 120 covers the outside of the box body 110, the body portion 1246 of the first cover side panel 1241 covers the first box side panel 1141, and the folding portion 1245 can be turned relative to the body portion 1246. The tongue portion 1244 is connected to the folding portion 1245 and can move with the turning of the folding portion 1245 to be inserted into the slot 1144 of the first box side panel 1141 or separated from the slot 1144.

In some embodiments, the plurality of cover side panels 124 may further include a second cover side panel 1242 having a smooth outer surface. Specifically, the second cover side panel 1242 does not have structures such as a folding portion 1245 and a tongue portion 1244 and has a smooth outer surface. In this embodiment, the plurality of cover side panels 124 may include two first cover side panels 1241 having a folding portion 1245 and a tongue portion 1244 and two second cover side panels 1242 not having a folding portion 1245 and a tongue portion 1244, and the two first cover side panels 1241 are connected to opposite sides of the top plate 122, and the two second cover side panels 1242 are connected to the other opposite sides of the top plate 122.

In some embodiments, the opposite ends (e.g., left and right ends) of the first cover side panel 1241 respectively include tongue pieces 1243. The second cover side panel 1242 adjacent to the first cover side panel 1241 is formed by folding a plate (e.g., a paper board) along a fold line FL2 to define an insertion opening, and the tongue piece 1243 of the first cover side panel 1241 can be inserted into the insertion opening of the adjacent second cover side panel 1242 to form a three-dimensional cover body 120 as shown in FIG. 4 . Of course, in other embodiments, the first cover side panel 1241 may be folded along the fold line FL2 to form a socket, and the second cover side panel 1242 may have a tongue 1243 that can be inserted into the socket to fold out a three-dimensional cover body 120. As long as the adjacent cover side panels respectively have a tongue 1243 and a socket formed by folding the panels to form a three-dimensional cover body 120, the present disclosure is not limited to this.

In some embodiments, the folding portion 1245 includes two connecting ends E1 and a turning end E2 opposite to each other, and the two connecting ends E1 are bendably connected to the main body 1246 so that the turning end E2 can turn relative to the main body 1246. The inserting tongue portion 1244 is located between the two connecting ends E1 and is separated from the connecting ends E1. In other words, the folding portion 1245 is connected to the main body 1246 via the connecting ends E1, and a groove in the shape of the inserting tongue portion (semicircular as shown in FIG. 3 ) is provided at the connecting end E1 to define the inserting tongue portion 1244 separated from the connecting end E1 at the connecting end E1.

5 to 7 are schematic diagrams of an assembly process of a packaging box according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 5 to 7, in some embodiments, the folding portion 1245 is connected to the main body 1246 via the connecting end E1, and the tongue portion 1244 is located between the two connecting ends E1 and separated from the two connecting ends E1. In this way, when the user wants to separate the cover 120 from the box body 110, the user can flip the folded portion 1245 upward in a direction away from the main body 1246 to a state as shown in FIG. 7. At this time, the connecting end E1 is concavely folded so that the tongue portion 1244 moves to a position corresponding to the slot 1144 as the folded portion 1245 is flipped, and can be inserted into the slot 1144 to fix the position of the folded portion 1245. In this way, the flipped folded portion 1245 can be used as a force point for lifting the cover 120 (such as a handle), and the user can easily lift the cover 120 and separate it from the box body 110.

Please refer back to FIG. 4 . In one embodiment, a tear line TL may be provided at the junction between the folded portion 1245 and the main body 1246 of the first cover side panel 1241. The so-called tear line TL may be a plurality of weak points (e.g., openings) arranged along the tearing direction to weaken the structural strength at the tear line TL. Thus, when the folded portion 1245 is turned over for the first time by an external force, the folded portion 1245 will tear along the tear line TL and separate from the main body 1246. The configuration of the tear line TL can ensure that no one has used the product contained in the packaging box before the consumer tears and turns the folded portion 1245 along the tear line TL for the first time, thereby ensuring the first-time usability of the product.

In summary, the packaging box disclosed herein is provided with a folding portion and a tongue portion on the cover side plate of the cover body that can be turned over relative to the cover side plate body. The tongue portion is connected to the folding portion and can move with the turning of the folding portion to be inserted into or separated from the slot of the box side plate of the box body. Therefore, when the user wants to separate the cover body from the box body, he only needs to turn the folding portion upward so that the tongue portion moves to the position corresponding to the slot with the turning of the folding portion, and can be inserted into the slot to fix the position of the folding portion. In this way, the turned-up folding portion can be used as a force point to lift the cover body, so that the user can easily lift the cover body and separate it from the box body. Therefore, the packaging box disclosed in the present invention can have a flat outer surface, and the user can easily separate the cover body from the box body, thereby improving the aesthetics and convenience of use of the packaging box at the same time.

Claims (10)

A packaging box comprises: a box body, comprising a bottom plate and a plurality of box side plates connected to a plurality of side edges of the bottom plate, wherein the plurality of box side plates comprises a first box side plate having a slot; and a cover body, covering the outside of the box body and comprising a top plate and a plurality of cover side plates connected to the top plate, wherein the plurality of cover side plates comprises a first cover side plate corresponding to the first box side plate, the first cover side plate comprises a body portion covering the first box side plate, a folding portion adapted to be turned relative to the body portion, and a tongue portion connected to the folding portion, and the tongue portion moves with the turning of the folding portion to be inserted into or separated from the slot. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the number of the first box side panels and the first cover side panels is two each, and the two first box side panels are connected to two opposite side edges of the bottom panel. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the multiple box side panels include a second box side panel having a smooth outer surface, and the multiple cover side panels include a second cover side panel having a smooth outer surface. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the folding portion includes two connecting ends and a flipping end opposite to each other, and the two connecting ends are connected to the main body so that the flipping end can be flipped relative to the main body. A packaging box as described in claim 4, wherein the tongue portion is located between the two connecting ends and separated from the two connecting ends so that when the two connecting ends are folded, it protrudes from the two connecting ends and can be inserted into the slot or separated from the slot. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the opposite ends of the first cover side panel respectively include tongue pieces, and the second cover side panels adjacent to the first cover side panel among the multiple cover side panels are respectively formed by folding the plate in half to define a socket, and the tongue piece is used to insert into the adjacent socket. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein a tear line is provided between the folded portion and the main body, and when the folded portion is first flipped by external force, the folded portion is torn along the tear line to separate from the main body. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the tear line includes a plurality of weak points arranged along the tearing direction. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the multiple cover side panels completely cover the multiple box side panels respectively. A packaging box as described in claim 1, wherein the box body is molded in one piece, and the cover body is molded in one piece.
