Abstract

A functional bed that facilitates joint movement includes a bed unit and a lifting unit. The bed unit includes a bed structure suitable for supporting a bed occupant and a bed frame structure supporting the bed structure. The bed structure includes a movable bed set suitable for supporting the lower body of the bed occupant. The movable bed set can cover or not cover the bed frame structure. The bed frame structure includes a top bed frame and a bottom bed frame spaced apart from each other. The top bed frame supports the movable bed set. The lifting unit is arranged on the bottom bed frame and is suitable for raising or lowering a joint moving device so that the joint moving device is higher than or lower than the top bed frame. The present invention allows a caregiver to use the lifting unit to lift the joint activity device, and even an elderly caregiver can operate it easily.

Description

Functional bed that facilitates joint movement

The present invention relates to a medical care device, in particular to a functional bed which is beneficial to joint movement.

Being able to walk freely without being disturbed by pain is an important thing for patients with knee problems. For some patients with knee problems, the severity of their knee problems may have reached a level where conservative treatments such as medication, injections, and rehabilitation are difficult to reduce the pain. This means that the patient's cartilage has been severely worn. At this time, the patient needs a knee replacement surgery. After the knee replacement surgery, in order to avoid stiffness or adhesion of the knee joint, the patient usually needs to use a joint motion device for rehabilitation on the day of the knee replacement surgery.

Since this passive knee joint mobile device needs to move the patient's entire foot, the size and weight of this passive knee joint mobile device are quite considerable. Before rehabilitation, the caregiver needs to move the passive knee joint mobile device to the hospital bed for use, and after rehabilitation, the caregiver needs to move the passive knee joint mobile device off the bed. The functional bed that is beneficial to joint movement of the present invention is suitable for a bedridden person to use a joint movement device. The functional bed that is beneficial to joint movement comprises a bed unit and a lifting unit.

The bed unit includes a bed structure suitable for supporting the bed occupant, and a bed frame structure supporting the bed structure. The bed structure includes a movable bed set suitable for supporting the lower body of the bed occupant. The movable bed set can cover or not cover the bed frame structure. The bed frame structure includes a top bed frame supporting the movable bed set, and a bottom bed frame spaced below the top bed frame. The lifting unit is arranged on the bottom bed frame, and is suitable for raising or lowering the joint movable device so that the joint movable device is higher than the top bed frame or lower than the top bed frame.

The effect of the present invention is that when the movable bed set does not cover the top bed frame of the bed frame structure, the caregiver can use the lifting unit to raise or lower the joint movable device. Since there is no need to carry it by one's own strength, even an elderly caregiver can operate it easily.

Referring to Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, in one embodiment of the functional bed facilitating joint movement of the present invention, the functional bed facilitating joint movement is suitable for a bedridden person (usually a patient after knee replacement surgery) to use a joint movement device 9 for rehabilitation. In this embodiment, the joint movement device 9 is a continuous passive joint movement device (Continuous Passive Motion, CPM). Since the joint movement device 9 can use an existing product purchased from the market, its detailed structural description is omitted.

The functional bed that facilitates joint movement includes a bed unit 1 and a lifting unit 2 arranged in the bed unit 1.

The bed unit 1 includes a bed structure 3 suitable for supporting the bed sleeper, a bed frame structure 4 supporting the bed structure 3, and two sliding structures 5 respectively arranged on both sides of the bed frame structure 4.

The bed structure 3 includes a fixed bed set 31 and a movable bed set 32 which are arranged front and back and are suitable for supporting the upper body and lower body of the bedridden person respectively.

The fixed bed set 31 includes a first mattress 311 arranged on the bed frame structure 4.

The movable bed set 32 includes two movable bed boards 321 (see FIG. 2 ) that can pivot relative to the bed frame structure, two second mattresses 322 respectively disposed on the movable bed boards 321 , and a plurality of rollers 323 (see FIG. 2 ) disposed on the movable bed boards 321 .

Each of the movable bed boards 321 is in the shape of a rectangular plate with the length direction being in the same direction as the front-rear direction. The movable bed boards 321 are arranged side by side on the bed frame structure 4.

Each of the second mattresses 322 is in the shape of a rectangle with its length direction being in the same direction as the front-rear direction, and is disposed on a respective movable bed board 321 .

The rollers 323 are grouped into two. The rollers 323 of the same group are respectively arranged at the front and rear opposite sides of one of the movable bed boards 321 and at one end of the movable bed board 321 opposite to the other movable bed board 321.

The bed frame structure 4 includes a top bed frame 41 supporting the fixed bed set 31 and the movable bed set 32, a bottom bed frame 42 spaced below the top bed frame 41, and a plurality of connecting columns 43 extending up and down and connected between the top bed frame 41 and the bottom bed frame 42.

The top bed frame 41 includes a top bed frame 411, a support plate 412 connected to the top bed frame 411 and supporting the first mattress 311 of the fixed bed assembly 31, and a plurality of support beams 413 extending forward and backward and connected between the support plate 412 and the top bed frame 411.

The supporting beams 413 cooperate with the top bed frame 411 and the supporting plate 412 to define two lifting openings 414 spaced apart on the left and right.

The bottom frame 42 is roughly in the shape of a square plate and is formed with a sliding space 421 for the lifting unit 2 to slide left and right.

The slide structures 5 are respectively disposed on the left and right opposite sides of the top bed frame 411 of the top bed frame 41. Each of the slide structures 5 includes two slide rails 51 located between one of the support beams 413 and the left and right sides of the top bed frame 411. The slide rails 51 are spaced from each other front to back.

1, 2, and 4, each of the slide rails 51 includes first side walls 511 spaced apart from each other and extending up and down (see FIG. 4), a second side wall 512 connected between the first side walls 511 and facing forward and backward (see FIG. 4), and a blocking bottom wall 513 connected between the first side walls 511 and the second side walls 512 (see FIG. 4).

The first side walls 511, the second side walls 512 and the blocking bottom wall 513 of each slide rail 51 cooperate to define a slide groove 514 with an opening facing upward and extending up and down. Each slide groove 514 can accommodate one of the rollers 323 of the movable bed assembly 32, and allow the roller 323 to move up and down therein, thereby accommodating one of the front and rear sides of one of the movable bed boards 321. The manner in which the slide rails 51 of each of the slide-retracting structures 5 accommodate the respective movable bed boards 321 will be described in detail later.

The lifting unit 2 is a lifting platform in this embodiment. Since the main structure and operation mode of the lifting platform (e.g., lifting by hydraulic pressure) are common knowledge, the relevant description is omitted and only the key parts are described. The lifting unit 2 includes a base 21 and a wheel set 22 disposed on the base 21. The lifting unit 2 can slide left and right in the sliding space 421 on the bottom frame 42 relative to the bottom frame 42 through the wheel set 22.

Referring to Figs. 2, 4 and 5, the feature of the functional bed that facilitates joint movement is that the movable bed set 32 can selectively cover or not cover the lifting openings 414 of the bed frame structure 4. Specifically, the second mattress 322 placed on one of the movable bed boards 321 can be removed first as shown in Fig. 5. Then, as shown by the imaginary lines and arrows in Fig. 5, one of the movable bed boards 321 is lifted up, and then the rollers 323 can move downwards in the slide grooves 514 relative to the slide rails 51, so that the movable bed board 321 can sink relative to the slide rails 51 until the rollers 323 are respectively supported and limited by the blocking bottom walls 513 at the bottom of the slide rails 51. At this time, the movable bed board 321 is stored between the front and rear of the two slide rails 51, and the front and rear opposite sides of the movable bed board 321 are respectively inserted into the slide grooves 514.

Referring to FIGS. 3, 5, and 6, after one of the movable bed boards 321 is lifted and stored in the respective slide-retracting structures 5 as described above, the lifting unit 2 can be used to lift the joint movable device 9 as shown in FIG. 6, so that the joint movable device 9 protrudes from the top bed frame 41 through one of the lifting openings 414. At this time, the bedridden person can put one of his feet on the joint movable device 9 for rehabilitation. The extent to which the joint movable device 9 protrudes from the top bed frame 41 can be adjusted according to the thickness of the first mattress 311.

After the rehabilitation is finished, the joint movement device 9 can be lowered by the lifting unit 2 so that the joint movement device 9 is lower than the top bed frame 41 again as shown in FIG3 and is located between the top bed frame 41 and the bottom bed frame 42. Then, the movable bed board 321 is pulled upward relative to the slide rails 51, and then pivoted to the support beams 413 of the top bed frame 41 to be placed on the support beams 413, and finally the second mattress 322 that was temporarily removed is put back, and the functional bed that facilitates joint movement can be restored to the general lying bed state as shown in FIG1.

In addition, since the lifting unit 2 can move left and right on the bottom bed frame 42, the joint movement device 9 can not only be used to rehabilitate the right foot as shown by the solid line in FIG. 5, but can also be moved to the left side (right side of the figure) of the bedridden person as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 5 to align with another lifting port 414, so as to be used for rehabilitation of the right foot of the bedridden person or the right foot of other bedridden people thereafter.

In summary, the function bed of the present invention that facilitates joint movement has the following benefits: when the movable bed set 32 does not cover the top bed frame 41 of the bed frame structure 4, the caregiver can use the lifting unit 2 to raise or lower the joint movement device 9. Since there is no need to move it by one's own strength, even elderly caregivers can operate it easily.

Claims (4)

A functional bed that facilitates joint movement, suitable for a bedridden person to use a joint movement device, the functional bed that facilitates joint movement comprises: a bed unit, including a bed structure suitable for supporting the bedridden person, and a bed frame structure supporting the bed structure, the bed structure including a movable bed set suitable for supporting the lower body of the bedridden person, the movable bed set can cover or not cover the bed frame structure, the bed frame structure includes a top bed frame supporting the movable bed set, and a bottom bed frame located below the top bed frame at an interval; and a lifting unit, arranged on the bottom bed frame, and suitable for raising or lowering the joint movement device, so that the joint movement device is higher than the top bed frame or lower than the top bed frame; The top bed frame defines two lifting openings arranged left and right and connected up and down, each of which is suitable for the lifting of the joint movable device, and the movable bed set includes two movable bed boards that can move relative to the top bed frame, and each of which can cover or not cover the respective lifting openings; The bed unit also includes two sliding structures respectively arranged on the left and right sides of the top bed frame, each of which includes two slide rails spaced from each other front and rear, each of which defines a slide groove with an opening facing upward and extending up and down, and each of which can accommodate one of the front and rear sides of the respective movable bed board. A functional bed that facilitates joint movement as described in claim 1, wherein the lifting unit includes a base and a wheel set arranged on the base, and the lifting unit can slide left and right relative to the bottom bed frame through the wheel set to drive the joint movement device to align with one of the lifting openings.
