Abstract
本發明提供一種顯示裝置,其包括基座、顯示面板及頂高件,顯示面板設置於基座之上。顯示面板具有背面,背面具有中心區及較中心區接近顯示面板側邊之周緣區,中心區與基座之最短距離大於周緣區與基座之最短距離。至少一個頂高件設置於基座與背面之間,並對應於中心區設置,以使顯示面板之中心部分相對於側邊隆起,以減少側邊產生翹曲的可能性。
Description
本發明係關於一種顯示裝置;具體而言,本發明係關於一種提升拼接顯示畫面品味之顯示裝置。
隨著顯示技術的不斷進步,各式顯示面板的產品成熟度也日益提升。不論是液晶顯示面板、有機發光二極體顯示面板或微發光二極體顯示面板,在技術上都已有長期的發展時間。然而在大尺寸顯示技術的發展上,除了以單一大尺寸面板來達成外,採用面板拼接方式組成大尺寸顯示裝置也是目前主流的技術趨勢之一。
然而,以拼接面板組成的大尺寸顯示裝置在經過長時間使用,可能因為顯示面板製成手法、膠材持續熟成、膠材硬度等原因,在各拼接顯示面板單元的周緣產生翹曲的現象。而產生翹曲的顯示面板周緣會有漏光現象,因而造成亮暗態畫面品味下降,進而影響使用者的使用體驗。此外,產生翹曲的顯示面板周緣也有可能因為凸起而被使用者觀察到,影響顯示裝置整體的外觀。
為解決上述問題,根據本發明之一實施例提出一種顯示裝置,其包括一基座、和一顯示面板,該顯示面板設置於該基座之上,其中該顯示面板具有一背面,該
背面具有一中心區及較該中心區接近該顯示面板側邊之一周緣區,該中心區與該基座之最短距離大於該周緣區與該基座之最短距離;以及至少一個頂高件,設置於該基座與該背面之間,並對應於該中心區設置。
本發明之另一實施例提供一種顯示裝置,其包括一基座、一第一顯示面板,設置於該基座上;以及一第二顯示面板,顯示面板設置於該基座之上,其中該第一顯示面板之一第一側邊和該第二顯示面板之一第二側邊相互抵接,且該第一顯示面板及該第二顯示面板之中心部分分別較該第一側邊及該第二側邊相對於該基座隆起。
本發明之又另一實施例提供一種顯示裝置,包括一基座、一第一顯示面板,設置於該基座上;以及一第二顯示面板,顯示面板設置於該基座之上,其中該第一顯示面板之一第一側邊和該第二顯示面板之一第二側邊相互抵接,且該第一顯示面板及該第二顯示面板分別靠近該第一側邊及該第二側邊的部分組合形成沿著該第一側邊及該第二側邊延伸且上寬下窄之一凹槽。
依據本發明之各實施例所提供之顯示裝置,可以提升亮暗態畫面品味,減少顯示面板邊緣及拼接線的醒目程度,以增進時使用者之觀看體驗及整體的外觀美感。

如圖1所示,在本實施例中,顯示裝置100包括基座120、顯示面板110及頂高件140。顯示面板110設置於基座120之上,而頂高件140則設置於基座120及顯示面板110之間,以將顯示面板110的中心部分頂起。藉此,顯示面板110的中心部分可較四週邊緣部分凸起,而使顯示面板110之外側表面(例如顯示面)隆起形成外凸之拱面,例如像微凸的龜背狀。在本實施例中,基座120可以是供顯示裝置100組裝及拼接用之燈箱;此外,本實施例中進一步包含組裝件300(Submount),顯示面板110設置於組裝件300上,再經由組裝件300而設置於基座120上。顯示面板110較佳為微發光二極體顯示面板,但亦可為有機發光二極體顯示面板、液晶顯示面板或其他類型的顯示面板。藉由此一設計,可使複數個顯示面板110拼接而成為大型顯示器。
圖2係以單一顯示面板110為例來進行說明。在本實施例中,顯示面板110亦可直接連接於基座120上,而不經由組裝件300間接組裝至基座120上。其中顯示面板110具有背面119,背面119具有中心區113及較中心區113接近顯示面板110側邊之周緣區115。中心區113與基座120間之最短距離大於周緣區115與基座120之最短距離。在本實施例中,周緣區115的末端為顯示面板110的端緣,其與基座120相連接,因而兩者間的最短距離為0。此外,當基座120朝向顯示面板110的一面為非平整表面時,例如基座120表面設有組裝機構或側牆等結構,則
可以基座120相對於顯示面板110之最凸出點或最凹入點為參考點而形成一虛擬參考面,進而以此虛擬參考面為基準來測量與顯示面板110之中心區113及周緣區115間的距離。
如圖1及圖2所示,顯示裝置可包括複數個連接件500。連接件500設置於基座120或組裝件300上,用以將顯示面板110之背面119與基座120或組裝件300之上表面連接定位。在本實施例中,連接件500可包含強力磁鐵與鐵片,分別設置於基座120/組裝件300上及與顯示面板110上,以藉由磁力來定位顯示面板110及基座120/組裝件300。然而在不同實施例中,連接件500亦可為鎖附螺絲,而以鎖附的方式來達成連接的效果。此外,在本實施例中,連接件500係嵌入基座120的表面;然而在不同實施例中,連接件500亦可凸出於基座120的表面,而使顯示面板110的周緣區115與基座120間的距離拉遠。
頂高件140之設置位置係對應於中心區113,例如可直接或間接地抵接於中心區113;頂高件140之另一端則可直接或間接地設置連接於基座120上。在一實施例中,顯示面板110中心區113與基座120間的距離可在200μm之內,而周緣區115與基座120間的距離可在50μm之內。藉此,顯示面板110中心區113可相較於周緣區隆起,以減少因顯示面板110的側邊產生外翻翹曲而影響產品外觀及影響觀看品質之狀況發生。
頂高件140可為彈性物體所製成之柱體,例如:橡膠柱。在一實施例中,頂高件140之Shore A硬度為50±5;而在另一實施例中,頂高件140的壓縮量可約為5%。藉由頂高件140的設置,可調整顯示面板達到該中心區與該基座之最短距離大於該周緣區與該基座之最短距離,並且避免顯示面板背後相關電路走線遭到刮傷,以導致短路。在不同實施例中,頂高件140亦可為調整螺絲,而可相對於基座120或顯示面板110調整伸出的長度。
如圖3A至圖3C所示,頂高件140的剖面形狀可為矩形、圓形或多邊形。此外,頂高件140與顯示面板110背面119抵觸的位置較佳為背面119未設有電路元件的位置,以減少電路問題發生的機會。在圖3A及圖3C的實施例中,針對每一顯示面板110均設置單一的頂高件140;而在圖3B所示之實施例中,則是設有兩個頂高件140,並沿著顯示面板110長邊的方向並排設置。換言之,頂高件140的設置數量不限制為1個。
如圖2所示,顯示面板110可以包括在出光方向一側設置的功能層111,其中功能層111可具有抗炫光低反射結構(AGAR)、低反射(AR)、低反射(AGLR)、抗炫光(AG)等結構。顯示面板110亦可具有光學層112,例如:偏極化材料,或頻譜吸收型材料。偏極化材料可為偏光片或相位偏差片,在一實施例中,具有偏極化材料的光學層112在出光方向的穿透率為40%~60%。在另一實施例中,具有頻譜吸收型材料的光學層112在出光方向的穿透率為20%~70%。藉由上述之設置,可使得顯示面板110整體的黑化程度較高;相對而言,因顯示面板110中心區113隆起而產生的減少翹曲對於提高觀看品質的效果也就更大。
如圖4A所示,顯示面板110的背面119為矩形,而中心區113位於自長邊210內縮短邊220長度42-58%之範圍及自短邊220內縮長邊210長度44-56%之範圍。換言之,頂高件140可以連接或抵觸的背面119範圍為短邊220方向上的中段42-58%範圍及長邊210方向上的中段44-56%範圍。在另一實施例中,如圖4B所示,當頂高件140的數量為單一時,中心區113位於該背面119的中段20%之內的範圍,亦即自背面119中心點在不同方向上外推10%的範圍內,可達到最好的效果;若當頂高件140的數量為複數個,或是顯示面板110因背面119設置元件或其他線路走線,使得中心無法讓位給頂高件140連接或接觸時,中心區113的位置可在背面119面寬的中段40%之內的範圍,亦即自背面119中心點在不同方向上外
推20%的範圍內,亦可達到較佳的效果。上述之「面寬」較佳可包含背面119各截面中最寬的截面寬度或是通過形心的截面寬度,但不以此為限。
在圖5A所示之實施例中,顯示裝置具有相鄰的第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620。第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620係併排地設置於基座120上,且第一顯示面板610之第一側邊611和第二顯示面板之第二側邊622相互抵接。如圖5A所示,第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620之中心部分分別較第一側邊611及第二側邊622相對於基座120隆起。在本實施例中,係藉由頂高件141及142的設置,使第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620之中心部分隆起;然而在其他實施例中,亦可使用其他方式,例如擠壓、磁吸等,使第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620之中心部分隆起。此外,如圖5A所示,第一顯示面板610及第二顯示面板620分別靠近第一側邊611及第二側邊622的部分組合形成沿著第一側邊611及第二側邊622方向(亦即垂直紙面方向)延伸且上寬下窄之凹槽700。當以複數個顯示面板排列成矩陣時,凹槽700則會呈複數個行及列的分佈。藉此,可減少因第一顯示面板610的第一側邊611及第二顯示面板620的第二側邊622產生外翻翹曲而影響觀看品質之狀況發生。
如圖5B所示,第一顯示面板610之第一側邊611具有第一端面613,其係垂直於背面119。第一端面613朝向相反於第一顯示面板610影像顯示之方向(即背面119的相反方向)相對基座120傾斜;換言之,第一端面613係自原本垂直於基座120所在延伸平面的方位,轉而朝基座120所在延伸平面旋轉,而與基座120所在延伸平面夾一銳角θ。藉由此一設置,可使得顯示面板邊緣往非視線方向出光,避免相鄰顯示面板之間的拼接線出現亮線的狀況,以提升暗態畫面品味。
此外,在圖5A及圖5B的實施例中,連接件500係設置突出於基座120上。在此實施例中,基座120所在之延伸平面係為虛擬之一平面,其可例如為基座120各側邊頂點所組成之平面,或例如為基座120主要底板所在之平面等。
在圖6所示之另一個實施例中,頂高件140可為包含彼此電性連接之第一連接件143及第二連接件144,兩者分別為電連接器的公頭及母頭。第一連接件143設置於顯示面板110背面119,並電性連接於顯示面板110上之電路;第二連接件144設置於基座120上,並電性連接基座120上之電路。藉由此一設置,可使頂高件140兼具訊號傳遞的功能。
在另一個實施例中,如圖7所示,頂高件140可包含自基座120外凸的支撐點145,例如螺絲。支撐點145係可以外接的方式設置於基座120上,也可以一體成型的方式形成於基座120上。支撐點145可形成為圓柱或方柱的形狀,但不以此為限。支撐點145頂端設置彈性物體146,例如:橡膠墊,以供與顯示面板110背面119連接或接觸。支撐點145的剛性較彈性物體146大,以提供足夠的支撐力。藉由此一設置,可更好的維持頂高的距離,同時以彈性物體146的緩衝能力來減少對於顯示面板110背面119的傷害。
上文中所述僅為本發明之一些較佳實施例。應注意的是,在不脫離本發明之精神與原則下,本發明可進行各種變化及修改。所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者應明瞭的是,本發明由所附申請專利範圍所界定,且在符合本發明之意旨下,各種可能置換、組合、修飾及轉用等變化皆不超出本發明由所附申請專利範圍所界定之範疇。

Claims (16)
- 一種顯示裝置,其包括: 一基座; 一顯示面板,設置於該基座之上,其中該顯示面板具有一背面,該背面具有一中心區及較該中心區接近該顯示面板側邊之一周緣區,該中心區與該基座之最短距離大於該周緣區與該基座之最短距離;以及 至少一個頂高件,設置於該基座與該背面之間,並對應於該中心區設置。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,該基座包含一燈箱。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,進一步包含一組裝件(Submount),該顯示面板設置於該組裝件上,再經由該組裝件而設置於該基座上。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中包含複數個連接件,設置分別連接該基座及該顯示面板,並較該頂高件靠近該顯示面板之該周緣區或位於該周緣區。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該頂高件包含一彈性體,該彈性體之邵氏硬度A (Shore A)界於45至55之間。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該頂高件包含一彈性體,該彈性體之壓縮量不大於5%。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該背面形成為矩形,且具有一長邊及一短邊,該中心區位於自該長邊內縮短邊長度42-58%之範圍及自該短邊內縮長邊長度44-56%之範圍。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該頂高件包含彼此電性連接之一第一連接件及一第二連接件,該第一連接件電性連接於該顯示面板上之電路,該第二連接件電性連接該基座上之電路。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該顯示面板具有一出光側,該出光側具有一光學層,該光學層包含一偏光片或一相位偏差片,且在出光方向的穿透率為40%~60%。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該顯示面板具有一出光側,該出光側具有一光學層,該光學層包含頻譜吸收型材料,且在出光方向的穿透率為20%~70%。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該中心區位於該背面面寬的中段20%之內的範圍。
- 如請求項1所述之顯示裝置,其中該顯示面板具有一側端面,該側端面朝向相反於影像顯示之方向相對該基座傾斜,而與該基座夾一銳角。
- 一種顯示裝置,其包括: 一基座; 一第一顯示面板,設置於該基座上;以及 一第二顯示面板,顯示面板設置於該基座之上,其中該第一顯示面板之一第一側邊和該第二顯示面板之一第二側邊相互抵接,且該第一顯示面板及該第二顯示面板之中心部分分別較該第一側邊及該第二側邊相對於該基座隆起; 其中該第一顯示面板具有一側端面,該側端面朝向相反於影像顯示之方向相對該基座傾斜,而與該基座夾一銳角。
- 一種顯示裝置,包括: 一基座; 一第一顯示面板,設置於該基座上;以及 一第二顯示面板,顯示面板設置於該基座之上,其中該第一顯示面板之一第一側邊和該第二顯示面板之一第二側邊相互抵接,且該第一顯示面板及該第二顯示面板分別靠近該第一側邊及該第二側邊的部分組合形成沿著該第一側邊及該第二側邊延伸且上寬下窄之一凹槽; 其中該第一顯示面板具有一側端面,該側端面朝向相反於影像顯示之方向相對該基座傾斜,而與該基座夾一銳角。
- 如請求項13或14所述之顯示裝置,其中該第一顯示面板具有一出光側,該出光側分別具有一光學層,該光學層包含偏光片或相位偏差片,且在出光方向的穿透率為40%~60%。
- 如請求項13或14所述之顯示裝置,其中該第一顯示面板具有一出光側,該出光側具有一光學層,該光學層包含頻譜吸收型材料,且在出光方向的穿透率為20%~70%。
