Abstract

A golf ball having printed patterns is provided. The golf ball includes a ball body and a printed pattern layer. The ball body has a top surface, a bottom surface and an intermediate annular surface located between the top surface and the bottom surface. The printed pattern layer includes two ink patterns that are respectively attached to the top surface and the on the bottom. Each of the ink patterns includes a central pattern and an outer ring-shaped pattern surrounding the central pattern. Therefore, the golf ball can have aesthetical appearance and improved performance.

Description

Golf balls with printed designs

The present invention relates to a golf ball, and in particular to a golf ball with a printed pattern.

With the improvement of people's living standards and the emphasis on outdoor leisure life, more and more people have fallen in love with playing golf. These people may be men or women from all walks of life or all ages. In other words, golf allows people from different walks of life, different ages and different genders to compete and communicate on the same field, which is the charm of this sport.

In the sport of golf, players can choose the ball they want to use, but there are many different types of golf balls on the market. Not only are there many brands, but each ball has a different structure, performance, and suitable hitting method. Therefore, in order to attract more attention and increase sales, some businesses have begun to use their ingenuity in the appearance of golf balls, such as using different colors and patterns, and matching glossy or matte textures to make the product more beautiful.

The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a golf ball with a printed pattern to address the deficiencies of the prior art, which can take both aesthetics and performance into consideration.

In order to solve the above technical problems, one of the technical solutions adopted by the present invention is to provide a golf ball with a printed pattern, which includes a ball and a printed pattern layer. The ball has a top surface, a bottom surface and a middle ring surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, and the printed pattern layer includes two ink patterns, which are attached to the top surface and the bottom surface respectively. Each of the ink patterns includes a central pattern and an outer ring pattern surrounding the central pattern.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the outer ring pattern is composed of a plurality of pattern units with the same appearance, and the plurality of pattern units are arranged around the edge of the central pattern.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the outer circle pattern is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the outer circle pattern includes a first outer circle pattern close to the central pattern and a second outer circle pattern far from the central pattern. The first outer circle pattern is an uninterrupted continuous pattern, and the second outer circle pattern is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the printed pattern layer further includes a marking pattern attached to the middle ring surface.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the sphere is a multi-layer structure.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the sphere includes a center and a shell covering the center.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the sphere further includes a coating layer covering the sphere shell.

In the embodiment of the present invention, the coating is a color coating.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the sphere further includes a middle layer between the center and the shell.

One of the beneficial effects of the present invention is that the golf ball with printed patterns provided by the present invention can improve the beauty and performance of the golf ball by virtue of "the ball having a top surface, a bottom surface and a middle ring surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, the printed pattern layer including two ink patterns, which are respectively attached to the top surface and the bottom surface" and "each of the ink patterns includes a central pattern and an outer ring pattern surrounding the central pattern".

Furthermore, through the design, combination and color matching of the printed ink patterns, it can not only bring excellent aiming to the golf ball, allowing golfers to better concentrate when aiming, but also improve the flight performance of the golf ball, such as making it easier to maintain flight stability and straightness.

The printed pattern layer 2 is formed on the outer surface of the ball 1, and can be used as a functional layer to give the golf ball excellent aiming and flight performance, and can also be used as a decorative layer to present a variety of pattern color combinations, so that the golf ball has an appearance that is enough to attract everyone's attention.

In the present invention, the sphere 1 has a top surface 101, a bottom surface 102, and a middle annular surface 103 between the top surface 101 and the bottom surface 102; the area where the top surface 101 is located can be the north pole area of the sphere 1, the area where the bottom surface 102 is located can be the south pole area of the sphere 1, and the area where the middle annular surface 103 is located can be the equatorial area of the sphere 1. In addition, the printed pattern layer 2 includes two ink patterns 2A, which are attached to the top surface 101 and the bottom surface 102 respectively. It is worth noting that each ink pattern 2A includes a central pattern 21 and an outer ring pattern 22 surrounding the central pattern 21.

As shown in FIG. 11 and FIG. 12 , the ink pattern 2A can be transferred from the steel plate 3 having the corresponding recessed pattern 31 to the top surface 101 or the bottom surface 102 of the sphere 1 by pad printing. Specifically, the ink C can be first filled into the recessed pattern 31 of the steel plate 3, and then the ink C can be picked up by a pad printing head 4, and the ink C can be pressed onto the top surface 101 or the bottom surface 102 of the sphere 1 by the pad printing head 4.

If necessary, the printed pattern layer 2 may further include a marking pattern 2B attached to the middle ring surface 103 of the sphere 1, as shown in FIG3. Similarly, the marking pattern 2B may also be formed by pad printing.

In one application of the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 , in a top or bottom view, the center pattern 21 is a circular pattern, and the outer pattern 22 is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern. In another application of the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 , in a top or bottom view, the center pattern 21 is a circular pattern, and the outer pattern 22 includes a first outer pattern 221 close to the center pattern 21 and a second outer pattern 222 far from the center pattern 21, wherein the first outer pattern 221 is an uninterrupted continuous pattern, and the second outer pattern 222 is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern. However, the present invention is not limited to the above application, and as long as the technical effect of the present invention is achieved by the same means, it should fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

In actual application, the amount of ink per unit area of the central pattern 21 is different from the amount of ink per unit area of the outer circle pattern 22.

As shown in FIGS. 6 to 8 , in actual application, the sphere 1 may be a multi-layer structure, which may include a core 11 and a shell 12 covering the core 11. As the core 11 that can be used in the present invention, a rubber core can be cited. As the shell 12 that can be used in the present invention, a polyurethane shell can be cited, and the shell 12 may be formed with a desired number of cavities D. As needed, the sphere 1 may also include at least one coating 14 covering the shell 12, such as but not limited to a base coating, a color coating and/or a protective coating. In addition, the sphere 1 may also include an intermediate layer 13 between the core 11 and the shell 12, such as but not limited to an adhesive layer.

[Second embodiment]

Referring to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 , the second embodiment of the present invention provides a golf ball Z, which includes a ball 1 and a printed pattern layer 2. The ball 1 has a top surface 101, a bottom surface 102, and a middle ring surface 103 between the top surface 101 and the bottom surface 102. The printed pattern layer 2 includes two ink patterns 2A, which are attached to the top surface 101 and the bottom surface 102, respectively. Moreover, each ink pattern 2A includes a central pattern 21 and an outer ring pattern 22 surrounding the central pattern 21.

The difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that the outer ring pattern 22 in the ink pattern 2A is composed of a plurality of pattern units U with the same appearance, and the plurality of pattern units U are arranged around the edge of the central pattern 21. As shown in FIG10 , the appearance of the plurality of pattern units U is similar to petals, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Therefore, different appearance visual effects can be presented.

The relevant technical details mentioned in the first embodiment are still valid in this embodiment, and in order to reduce repetition, they are not repeated here. Correspondingly, the relevant technical details mentioned in this embodiment can also be applied in the first embodiment.

[Beneficial Effects of Embodiments]

The golf ball with printed patterns provided by the present invention can improve the beauty and performance of the golf ball by virtue of "the ball having a top surface, a bottom surface and a middle ring surface between the top surface and the bottom surface, the printed pattern layer including two ink patterns, which are respectively attached to the top surface and the bottom surface" and "each of the ink patterns includes a central pattern and an outer ring pattern surrounding the central pattern".

Furthermore, through the design, combination and color matching of the printed ink patterns, it can not only bring excellent aiming to the golf ball, allowing golfers to better concentrate when aiming, but also improve the flight performance of the golf ball, such as making it easier to maintain flight stability and straightness.

Claims (10)

A golf ball with a printed pattern, comprising: a sphere having a top surface, a bottom surface and a middle ring surface between the top surface and the bottom surface; and a printed pattern layer, the printed pattern layer comprising two ink patterns, which are respectively attached to the top surface and the bottom surface; wherein each of the ink patterns comprises a central pattern and an outer ring pattern surrounding the central pattern. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 1, wherein the outer ring pattern is composed of a plurality of pattern units with the same appearance, and the plurality of pattern units are arranged around the edge of the central pattern. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 1, wherein the outer ring pattern is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 1, wherein the outer ring pattern includes a first outer ring pattern close to the central pattern and a second outer ring pattern far from the central pattern, the first outer ring pattern is an uninterrupted continuous pattern, and the second outer ring pattern is a uniformly distributed dot matrix pattern. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 1, wherein the printed pattern layer further includes a marking pattern attached to the middle ring surface. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the ball has a multi-layer structure. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 6, wherein the ball body includes a center and a shell covering the center. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 7, wherein the ball body further includes a coating covering the outside of the ball shell. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 8, wherein the coating is a color coating. A golf ball with a printed pattern as described in claim 7, wherein the ball body further includes a middle layer between the ball center and the ball shell.
