Abstract

The present invention provides a settlement support method for an electronic device. The settlement support method may include the following steps: providing a first list to a user terminal, the first list including at least one selectable delivery option related to the delivery of an item; confirming the delivery option selected from the user terminal based on the first list; and providing a second list to the user terminal, the second list indicating at least one selectable settlement option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option.

Description

Electronic device and settlement support method thereof

The present invention relates to an electronic device and a settlement support method, wherein the electronic device is used to provide corresponding item settlement options that users can choose based on order information and delivery methods.

As the delivery of goods through smartphone applications becomes more popular, competition among services is very fierce. In this case, in order to provide competitive services, it is necessary to provide a variety of settlement options. In other words, in addition to the usual card settlement, points settlement or account settlement, it is also necessary to provide a variety of settlement options to improve user convenience.

However, compared with the normal settlement options, the non-normal settlement options mentioned above have slightly more restrictions. If the above restrictions are not handled properly, it will cause major problems for service operations, so they must be properly resolved.

[The problem the invention is trying to solve]

The disclosed embodiments are intended to provide an electronic device and a settlement support method thereof. Specifically, one of the purposes of the present invention is to provide a settlement support method as follows: providing a plurality of item settlement options for users to choose from, and confirming whether the item settlement option can be selected based on order information and delivery methods, and including restrictions resulting from such settlement options.

The technical issues to be realized by this embodiment are not limited to the technical issues described above, and other technical issues can be inferred based on the following embodiments. [Technical means to solve the problem]

One aspect of the present invention may provide a settlement support method, which is performed by an electronic device and includes the following steps: providing a first list to a user terminal, the first list including at least one optional delivery option related to the delivery of an item; confirming the delivery option selected from the user terminal based on the first list; and providing a second list to the user terminal, the second list indicating at least one optional settlement option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a settlement support method may be provided, wherein the step of providing the second list to the user terminal includes the following steps: based on the order information, the type information of the selected delivery option, and at least a part of the user information, confirming whether the selection of the first settlement option, which is one of the settlement options, is restricted; and when the selection of the first settlement option is restricted, providing the second list including the disabled first settlement option to the user terminal.

Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, a settlement support method may be provided, wherein the step of confirming whether the selection of the above-mentioned first settlement option is restricted is as follows: confirming whether the above-mentioned type information of the above-mentioned delivery option selected belongs to the type information to which the above-mentioned first settlement option can be applied, thereby confirming whether the selection of the above-mentioned first settlement option is restricted.

Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, a settlement support method may be provided, wherein the step of confirming whether the selection of the above-mentioned first settlement option is restricted is as follows: based on at least a part of the order amount information and delivery fee information included in the above-mentioned order information, determining whether the selection of the above-mentioned first settlement option is restricted.

Another aspect of the present invention may provide an electronic device that provides a method for supporting item settlement, comprising: a transceiver; one or more processors; and a storage device that stores one or more commands executed by the one or more processors; the one or more processors are as follows: providing a first list to a user terminal, the first list including at least one optional delivery option related to the delivery of the item; confirming the delivery option selected from the user terminal based on the first list; and providing a second list to the user terminal, the second list representing at least one optional settlement option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option.

Another aspect of the present invention can provide a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium, which records a program for executing the above-mentioned information providing method in a computer.

According to the embodiments of the present specification, a comprehensive settlement support method can be provided that can overcome the limitations caused by such settlement options.

Furthermore, according to the embodiments of the present specification, the convenience of selecting settlement options can be improved in the following manner: the user is informed of which of the selected items for the order are restrictions on the settlement options.

Furthermore, according to the embodiments of the present specification, the use of corresponding settlement options can be promoted and the user experience can be improved in the following manner: the user provides a solution that can avoid restrictions related to the settlement options through the user terminal.

The terms used in the embodiments are selected as common terms that are currently widely used as much as possible in consideration of the functions of the present invention, but they may differ due to the intentions of technical personnel in the field, precedents, the emergence of new technologies, etc. In addition, in specific cases, there are also terms that the applicant arbitrarily selects. FIG. 1 shows a system supporting settlement according to an embodiment.

Referring to FIG. 1 , the system may include an electronic device 100, one or more user terminals 110, 120, 130, and at least one of a network 140. On the other hand, the system shown in FIG. 1 represents components related to the present embodiment. Therefore, those with common sense in the technical field related to the present embodiment can understand that in addition to the components shown in FIG. 1, other common components may be further included. For the sake of convenience, the following description will be based on the following situation: one of the user terminals (110, 120, 130) 110 communicates with the electronic device 100 to implement the settlement support method of an embodiment of the present invention.

The electronic device 100 is a device that provides various information. The electronic device 100 can act as a server to provide the information through a web page or an application screen, or provide the information in a form that can be displayed through a web page or an application screen in a terminal that receives the information.

FIG. 2 is a flow chart for illustrating a settlement support method of an embodiment in the relationship between an electronic device and a user terminal.

In step S210, a first list including at least one selectable delivery option related to delivery of the item may be provided to the user terminal 110. In step S220, the delivery option selected from the user terminal 110 may be confirmed based on the first list. In step S230, a second list indicating at least one selectable settlement option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option may be provided to the user terminal 110. Each step is described in more detail below.

According to an embodiment, before the above steps S210 to S230, the following state may be reached: the order information and checkout request of the item to be purchased by the user have been transmitted to the electronic device 100 through the user terminal 110. At this time, as at least a part of the checkout page, the electronic device 100 may provide the user terminal 110 with a first list including at least one optional delivery option, wherein the delivery option may include ordinary delivery, express delivery, and delivery to a designated pickup location by a delivery person. Here, delivery to a designated pickup location may refer to delivery to a designated pickup location pre-designated by the user and which can be picked up by an agent. For example, the designated pickup location may include a convenience store. Referring to FIG. 3, an example of the first list described above is explained.

FIG. 3 shows an example of a user interface associated with a settlement support method of an embodiment.

For the sake of convenience, FIG. 3 only shows the delivery by the delivery person and the delivery with the convenience store designated as the designated pickup location. According to one embodiment, as described above, the user can select the delivery option based on the first list provided in the user terminal 110. That is, one of the various delivery options can be selected and the delivery location of the corresponding delivery option can be set by clicking the modification button.

According to one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide the second list to the user terminal 110. As an example, in addition to the common settlement options such as card settlement, account settlement, points settlement, and settlement by payment service, the second list may also include settlement options with slightly different settlement processes, such as settlement when picking up the items. Settlement when picking up the items refers to the following method: when the delivery person picks up the items or the agent picks up the items at the designated pickup location, the items are settled using cash or a card. The above method is also called the cash on delivery (COD) method. Referring to FIG. 4, an example of the second list as described above is explained.

FIG. 4 is an example of a second list related to settlement options of a settlement support method of an embodiment.

For the sake of convenience, FIG. 4 only shows card settlement, settlement by payment service, and settlement at the time of pickup. According to one embodiment, as described above, the user can select a settlement option based on the second list provided in the user terminal 110. Obviously, as an example of settlement at the time of pickup, the second list in FIG. 4 shows that there is a payment upon delivery. Even if it is displayed in this way, at the time of pickup, in addition to cash settlement, other methods such as card settlement can also be used.

According to one embodiment, the first list and the second list can be provided simultaneously to the same page on the application or website, such as a checkout page, through the user terminal 110.

According to one embodiment, when providing the second list to the user terminal 110, after confirming whether the selection of the specified first settlement option is limited, if the selection of the first settlement option is limited, the second list including the disabled first settlement option may be provided. At this time, whether the selection of the first settlement option is limited may be confirmed based on at least a part of the order information obtained before providing the first list and the second list to the user terminal 110, the type information of the delivery option selected by the user terminal 110, and the user information.

For the sake of convenience, the following describes the first settlement option, which is the settlement at the time of collection. Obviously, in the case of other settlement methods, only the details are different, and similar actions can be performed.

For example, it can be confirmed whether the selection of the first settlement option is restricted based on the order information. According to one embodiment, when the order amount is above the set threshold amount, the selection of the first settlement option will be restricted. For another example, when the ordered item is a specified bound item, the selection of the first settlement option will be restricted. For another example, when the delivery fee of the item is free, the selection of the first settlement option will be restricted. Obviously, the above-mentioned restriction conditions can be changed according to operational needs.

According to one embodiment, it is possible to confirm whether the selection of the first settlement option is restricted based on the user information. That is, it is possible to determine whether the selection of the first settlement option is restricted based on the restriction information included in the user information. If the operator determines that the user is a malicious user based on the user's order history information, etc., the operator can set restriction information for the corresponding user, thereby avoiding problems such as habitual breach of contract after ordering.

According to one embodiment, whether the selection of the first settlement option is restricted can be confirmed based on the type information of the selected delivery option. For example, the following situation can be assumed: the usual delivery option using a delivery person is selected, but the corresponding location is an area that does not support settlement upon pickup. Alternatively, the following situation can be assumed: the time when the user wants to pick up the item is not a delivery time for the delivery company that supports settlement upon pickup, so the delivery is performed by a delivery company that does not support settlement upon pickup. In the case of delivery at a designated pickup location, the above situation can also be similarly assumed. For example, in the case of selecting convenience store delivery, it can be assumed that the corresponding convenience store operating company does not support settlement upon pickup. Whether the selection of the first settlement option is restricted can be confirmed based on the type information including the information of each situation as described above.

According to one embodiment, as described above, when the first settlement option is deactivated on the second list, the first message indicating that the first settlement option has been deactivated may be provided to the user terminal 110. Furthermore, the first message described above may be provided together with the second message. Here, the second message may be at least a part of the reason information based on the limited selection of the first settlement option. As an example, when the order amount is below the set critical amount and the first settlement option cannot be selected, the second message including the content described above may be provided to the user terminal 110 together with the first message including the content that the selection of the first settlement option is limited. Referring to FIG. 5, an example described above is explained.

FIG. 5 shows an example of a first message and a second message related to a settlement option of a settlement support method of an embodiment.

According to one embodiment, as shown in FIG5 , with the selection icon of the first settlement option of the second list being disabled, the first message 111 and the second message 112 may be displayed at the bottom thereof. That is, the first message 111 may be displayed as “COD-restricted order”, and the second message 112 may be displayed as “available when the order amount is $490 or more”. In FIG5 , the first and second messages 111 and 112 are displayed together with the second list, however, it is obvious that the embodiment of displaying the first and second messages may also be realized by other methods (according to one example, by a pop-up method).

According to one embodiment, when there are multiple reasons for limiting the selection of the first settlement option, the second message can be confirmed based on at least a portion of the reason information, and at least a portion of the reason information is selected based on the set priority information. As an example, reason information with a higher priority among the multiple reasons may be included in the second message. For example, when the user information includes restriction information and the order amount is below a critical value, the one with a higher priority among the two reason information (for example, the user information includes the content of the restriction information) may be included in the second message. In addition, when there are multiple reasons with the same priority, the corresponding reason information may be included in the second message. Refer to Figure 6 for an example.

FIG. 6 shows an example of a second message including a plurality of reason information of a settlement support method according to an embodiment.

As an example, the priority of the reason information is as follows: assuming that the reason information of the user information is the restriction information has the highest priority, the reason information of free delivery/item binding/order amount is above the critical value/delivery by a delivery company that does not support settlement upon pickup has the second and third highest priorities, and the reason information of delivery by a convenience store operating company that does not support settlement upon pickup has the fourth highest priority, if the selection of the first settlement option is restricted because the item with the second highest priority is included in the binding goods, the delivery fee is free and the order amount is above the critical amount, then all three reason information 113 can be displayed as shown in Figure 6.

According to one embodiment, the second message may include guidance information that guides the user to adjust at least a portion of the order information and the delivery options according to the reason information so that the user can use the first settlement option. That is, the following guidance information may be included: when the user's pickup time or delivery location setting is used to achieve delivery by a delivery company that does not support settlement upon pickup, the pickup time or delivery location setting can be changed. In addition, the following guidance information may be included: when the delivery option selected by the user does not support settlement upon pickup, it is recommended to change the delivery option. Referring to FIG. 7, one embodiment as described above is confirmed.

FIG. 7 shows an example of a second message including guidance information of a settlement support method of an embodiment.

FIG. 7 shows an example of the second message in the following situation: the user selects convenience store pickup on the first list, but the operator of the designated convenience store does not support payment upon pickup; or the corresponding convenience store cannot be selected for payment upon pickup due to other reasons, but payment upon pickup can be selected if another nearby convenience store is selected. By providing the second message as described above to the user terminal 110, the user can be supported to easily use payment upon pickup.

According to one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may provide a third list showing information of items based on the order information to the user terminal 110. The third list may be in the form of a list including the names and quantities of items selected by the user. Furthermore, the third list may be provided together with the first and second lists on the checkout page.

According to one embodiment, when the selection of the first settlement option is limited due to at least a portion of the items selected by the user, the electronic device 100 may provide the third message including the above content together with the third list to the user terminal 110. Referring to FIG8 , one embodiment as described above is confirmed.

FIG. 8 shows an example of a third list and a third message related to item information of a settlement support method of an embodiment.

As an example, as shown in FIG8 , assume the following situation: the user orders a cationic hair dryer, a fruity hair essence, and a spaghetti saucepan, wherein the cationic hair dryer and the fruity hair essence are ordered as bundled products. At this time, the third list can display the above items in a list form. Since the cationic hair dryer and the fruity hair essence are purchased in a bundled form, the settlement at the time of collection cannot be realized due to the selection of the corresponding products. The above information can be provided to the user terminal 110 together with the third message 114 of FIG8 .

In the case where the first settlement option is not selected, the first to third messages may also be provided. For example, in the case where the second settlement option is selected, if the user has previously settled using the first settlement option, the first to third messages may also be provided using the above process.

According to one embodiment, if the selection of the first settlement option and the order process are confirmed from the user terminal 110, the electronic device 100 may provide the user terminal 110 with a fourth message including the following information, that is, indicating that the user has completed the order without making another settlement at the corresponding time. According to one embodiment, the fourth message may be included in the settlement completion page and may have a format specified for settlement at the time of collection, which may be different from the format of an option different from the first settlement option, for example, different from the format of the second settlement option such as card settlement. For example, in the case of the second settlement option, a message indicating that the order has been completed can be provided to the user terminal 110 in a format that includes settlement completion and settlement amount, but in the case of the first settlement option, a message can be provided to the user terminal 110 in a format that does not include content related to the settlement as described above.

According to one embodiment, if the request for the status information of the item is confirmed from the user terminal 110, a fifth message including the status information may be provided to the user terminal 110, and the status information has the format specified for the first settlement option. That is, if the user wants to know the delivery status of the item and requests the status information of the item through the user terminal 110, the status information may be provided to the user through the delivery status page of the user terminal 110. At this time, unlike other settlement options, the first settlement option is settled at the time of pickup, not at the time of ordering. Therefore, in the case of other settlement options, the first step of the item status information is equivalent to the settlement completion step, while in the case of the first settlement option, the first step of the item status information can be equivalent to the order completion step.

According to one embodiment, in order to complete the settlement procedure corresponding to the first settlement option, the electronic device 100 can obtain payment information from the payee terminal corresponding to the selected delivery option. For example, in the case of ordinary delivery by a delivery person, payment information indicating that the settlement of the corresponding order has been completed is input from the delivery person terminal to the electronic device, and in the case of picking up the delivery at a convenience store, the payment information is input from the convenience store staff terminal to the electronic device, whereby the electronic device 100 can complete the settlement procedure. In this case, the following state can be achieved: the electronic device 100 sends a message including the amount information to be settled to the payee terminal and stores it. Of course, it is obvious that the following implementation example can be implemented differently from this: without separately obtaining payment information and performing a confirmation process, the service is provided through overall accounting with the delivery company or convenience store operating company.

FIG. 9 is a block diagram showing an electronic device according to an embodiment.

According to one embodiment, the electronic device 100 may include a memory 102 and a processor 103. The electronic device 100 shown in FIG. 9 only shows the components related to this embodiment. Therefore, those with common sense in the technical field related to this embodiment can understand that in addition to the components shown in FIG. 9, other common components may be further included. In one embodiment, the processor 103 may be included in a controller.

The processor 103 can control the overall operation of the electronic device 100 and process data and signals. The processor 103 may include at least one hardware unit. In addition, the processor 103 can operate by executing one or more software modules generated by executing the program code stored in the memory 102. The processor 103 may include the memory 102, and the processor 103 can execute the program code stored in the memory 102 to control the overall operation of the electronic device 100 and process data and signals.

The processor 103 may be as follows: providing a first list to the user terminal, the first list including at least one optional delivery option related to the delivery of the item; confirming the selected delivery option from the user terminal based on the first list; providing a second list to the user terminal, the second list indicating at least one optional settlement option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option.

According to an embodiment, the electronic device 100 may further include a transceiver 101 for implementing wired/wireless communication. The electronic device 100 may communicate with an external electronic device using the transceiver 101. The external electronic device may be a terminal or a server. In addition, the communication technology used by the transceiver 101 may include GSM (Global System for Mobile communication), CDMA (Code Division Multi Access), LTE (Long Term Evolution), 5G (5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology), WLAN (Wireless LAN), Wi-Fi (Wireless-Fidelity), Bluetooth™, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), Infrared Communication (IrDA, Infrared Data Association), ZigBee, NFC (Near Field Communication), etc.

The electronic device of the above embodiment may include a processor, a memory for storing and executing program data, such as a permanent storage of a hard drive, a communication port for communicating with external devices, a user interface device such as a touch panel, a key, a button, etc. The method implemented by the software module or algorithm can be stored in a computer-readable recording medium as a computer-readable code or program command that can be executed on the above processor. Here, as computer-readable recording media, there are magnetic storage media (e.g., ROM (read-only memory), RAM (random-Access memory), floppy disk, hard disk, etc.) and optical readable media (e.g., CD-ROM, DVD: Digital Versatile Disc)). Computer-readable recording media are distributed in computer systems connected to the network, so that computer-readable codes can be stored and executed in a distributed manner. The media can be read by the computer, stored in the memory, and executed in the processor.

The present embodiment may be represented by a functional block structure and various processing steps. The functional blocks may be implemented by different numbers of hardware and/or software structures that perform specific functions. For example, the embodiment may be implemented by an integrated circuit structure that can perform various functions such as memory, processing, logic, look-up tables, etc. through the control of one or more microprocessors or other control devices. The components may be executed by software programming or software components. Similarly, the present embodiment includes algorithms implemented by a combination of data structures, programs, routines, or other programming structures, and can therefore be implemented by programming or scripting languages such as C, C++, Java, and assemblers. In terms of functions, it can be implemented by algorithms executed in one or more processors. A settlement support method, which is performed by an electronic device, comprises the following steps: providing a first list to a user terminal, the first list including at least one optional delivery option related to the delivery of an item; confirming the delivery option selected from the user terminal based on the first list; and providing a second list to the user terminal, the second list indicating the delivery option determined based on at least one of the order information of the item and the type information of the selected delivery option.
