Description

Laptop

The present invention relates to a notebook computer, and in particular to a notebook computer with a sliding keyboard.

Portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablet computers, or laptops are easy to carry and can be used by users to handle tasks anytime and anywhere, making them indispensable electronic products in modern life. Portable electronic devices generate heat when in operation. Since excessive heat will reduce the operating performance of portable electronic devices, manufacturers will install heat dissipation modules in portable electronic devices to dissipate heat.

Take a laptop computer as an example. Generally speaking, the heat dissipation module is placed under the keyboard. In other words, the keyboard overlaps with the heat dissipation module. In this way, the keyboard will occupy the installation space of the heat dissipation module, so only a small heat dissipation module can be used, and the heat dissipation efficiency cannot be improved. For this reason, some manufacturers have redesigned the location of the keyboard and touchpad of the laptop to make room for the installation of the heat dissipation module. However, for users, they need to spend extra time learning to use keyboards and touchpads with different configurations, which causes inconvenience to users. Therefore, how to take into account the heat dissipation efficiency of the laptop and the convenience of the user to operate the laptop is one of the problems that researchers should solve.

The present invention provides a notebook computer, which takes into account both the heat dissipation efficiency of the notebook computer and the convenience of users in operating the notebook computer.

The notebook computer disclosed in one embodiment of the present invention includes a base, a display, a functional component and at least one linkage component. The base has a bottom surface, a first bearing surface and at least one second bearing surface. The first bearing surface and the at least one second bearing surface are opposite to the bottom surface, and the distance from the first bearing surface to the bottom surface is smaller than the distance from the at least one second bearing surface to the bottom surface. The display is pivoted to the base. The functional component can be slidably arranged on the first bearing surface or the at least one second bearing surface. One end of the at least one linkage component is connected to the display. The other end of the at least one linkage component is connected to the functional component. When the display rotates relative to the base, the functional component can slide from the first bearing surface to the at least one second bearing surface relative to the base through the at least one linkage component.

According to the laptop computer of the above embodiment, since the laptop computer is provided with a linkage assembly, the functional assembly can slide between the first supporting surface and the two second supporting surfaces through the linkage assembly. In this way, the functional assembly will not occupy the installation space of the heat dissipation module located below the two second supporting surfaces, so that the manufacturer can use a large-volume heat dissipation module to improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the laptop computer.

In addition, since the functional components will slide to the second supporting surface after the display is opened, which is the operating position that users are generally accustomed to, without changing the setting position of the functional components, users can quickly start to operate the notebook computer without having to re-adapt to the new configuration of the keyboard. In this way, the heat dissipation performance of the notebook computer and the low learning cost of the user can be taken into account.

The above description of the content of the present invention and the following description of the implementation method are used to demonstrate and explain the principle of the present invention and provide a further explanation of the scope of the patent application of the present invention.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 3. Figure 1 is a three-dimensional schematic diagram of a laptop computer according to the first embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is a top view schematic diagram of the laptop computer of Figure 1. Figure 3 is a partially enlarged top view schematic diagram of the laptop computer of Figure 1.

115。The notebook computer 10 of this embodiment includes a base 11, a display 12, a functional component 13, two linkage components 14, two guide rails 15 and a heat dissipation module 18. The base 11 has a bottom surface 111, a first bearing surface 112, two second bearing surfaces 113, a slope 114 and a groove 115.

Please refer to FIG. 4 as well. FIG. 4 is a schematic side view of the laptop computer 10 of FIG. 1 . The first supporting surface 112 and the two second supporting surfaces 113 are opposite to the bottom surface 111, and the distance from the first supporting surface 112 to the bottom surface 111 is, for example, smaller than the distance from the two second supporting surfaces 113 to the bottom surface 111. In other words, the height of the two second supporting surfaces 113 is greater than the height of the first supporting surface 112, and the height of the two second supporting surfaces 113 is the height of the base 11. The heat dissipation module 18 is disposed on the base 11 and is located below the two second supporting surfaces 113. The heat dissipation module 18 is, for example, composed of a fan (not shown) and heat dissipation fins (not shown). In addition, the display 12 is, for example, a screen, and is pivotally connected to the base 11, and the distance from the first supporting surface 112 to the pivot axis of the display 12 and the base 11 is greater than the distance from the second supporting surfaces 113 to the pivot axis of the display 12 and the base 11. In other words, the first supporting surface 112 is farther from the connection point between the display 12 and the base 11 than the second supporting surfaces 113. The opposite sides of the inclined surface 114 are connected to the first supporting surface 112 and the second supporting surfaces 113 respectively.

13。The functional component 13 is, for example, a keyboard component, and is slidably disposed on the first bearing surface 112 or the second bearing surface 113. When the functional component 13 is located on the first bearing surface 112, the functional component 13 is far away from the heat dissipation module 18. When the functional component 13 is located on the second bearing surfaces 113, the functional component 13 overlaps the heat dissipation module 18. The groove 115 is located between the second bearing surfaces 113, and the height of the groove 115 is, for example, the same as the height of the first bearing surface 112. The second linkage component 14 is at least partially located in the groove 115. One end of the second linkage component 14 is connected to the display 12. The other end of the second linkage component 14 is connected to the functional component 13.

132。Specifically, each linkage assembly 14 includes a rotating shaft 141, two connecting rods 142, and a turning assembly 143. The display 12 is pivoted on the base 11 via the rotating shaft 141. The functional assembly 13 includes an assembly body 131 and a support frame 132. The assembly body 131 is disposed on the support frame 132. The two connecting rods 142 are movably connected, and one of the two connecting rods 142 is pivoted on the support frame 132.

The steering assembly 143 includes a first helical gear 1431 and a second helical gear 1432. The first helical gear 1431 and the second helical gear 1432 are respectively disposed on the rotating shaft 141 and the other of the two connecting rods 142, and are engaged with each other. In this way, the transmission direction of the force can be changed through the first helical gear 1431 and the second helical gear 1432. The display 12 drives the two connecting rods 142 to rotate relative to the base 11 through the rotating shaft 141, the first helical gear 1431 and the second helical gear 1432. That is, when the display 12 rotates relative to the base 11, the functional component 13 is synchronously driven to slide between the first bearing surface 112 and the second bearing surfaces 113 through the rotating shaft 141, the first bevel gear 1431, the second bevel gear 1432 and the two connecting rods 142. The two guide rails 15 are located in the groove 115. The two sides of the support frame 132 are slidably located on the two guide rails 15, so that the support frame 132 can slide under the guidance of the two guide rails 15.

In this embodiment, since the notebook computer 10 is provided with the linkage assembly 14, the functional assembly 13 can slide between the first supporting surface 112 and the two second supporting surfaces 113 through the linkage assembly 14. In this way, the functional assembly 13 will not occupy the installation space of the heat dissipation module 18 located below the two second supporting surfaces 113, so that the manufacturer can use a large heat dissipation module 18 to improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the notebook computer 10.

In addition, since the functional component 13 will slide to the second second bearing surface 113, which is the operating position that the user is generally accustomed to, after the display 12 is opened, and the setting position of the functional component 13 will not be changed, the user can quickly operate the notebook computer 10 without having to re-adapt to the new configuration of the keyboard. In this way, the heat dissipation performance of the notebook computer 10 and the low learning cost of the user can be taken into account.

In this embodiment, the notebook computer 10 may further include a plurality of first auxiliary rods 16 and a plurality of second auxiliary rods 17. The support frame 132 has a plurality of first guide grooves 1321. These first auxiliary rods 16 and these second auxiliary rods 17 each have a first end 161, 171 and a second end 162, 172 opposite to each other. The first ends 161 of these first auxiliary rods 16 are slidably disposed in these first guide grooves 1321, respectively. The first ends 171 of these second auxiliary rods 17 are connected to the support frame 132. The second ends 162 of these first auxiliary rods 16 are movably connected to the second ends 172 of these second auxiliary rods 17. By providing the first auxiliary rods 16 and the second auxiliary rods 17 , the functional component 13 can be assisted in sliding along the inclined surface 114 between the first bearing surface 112 and the two second bearing surfaces 113 .

In this embodiment, the functional component 13 is, for example, a keyboard component, but is not limited thereto. In this embodiment, the height of the groove 115 is the same as the height of the first bearing surface 112, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the height of the groove and the height of the first bearing surface may also be different.

In this embodiment, the display 12 drives the functional component 13 to slide synchronously through the linkage component 14 having the connecting rod 142, the first bevel gear 1431 and the second bevel gear 1432, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the display can also drive the functional component to slide synchronously through other forms of linkage components.

In this embodiment, the support frame 132 of the functional component 13 guides the functional component 13 to slide along the inclined surface 114 between the first bearing surface 112 and the second bearing surfaces 113 through the first auxiliary rods 16 and the second auxiliary rods 17, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the support frame of the functional component can also guide the functional component to slide along the inclined surface between the first bearing surface and the second bearing surfaces only through the second auxiliary rods.

Please refer to Figures 5 to 10 together. Figure 5 is a schematic top view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on the first supporting surface. Figure 6 is a schematic side view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on the first supporting surface. Figure 7 is a schematic top view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on an inclined surface. Figure 8 is a schematic side view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on an inclined surface. Figure 9 is a schematic top view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on the second supporting surface. Figure 10 is a schematic side view of the functional components of the laptop computer in Figure 1 located on the second supporting surface.

114。As shown in FIG5 and FIG6, when the display 12 is covered on the base 11, the functional component 13 is located on the first bearing surface 112 with a lower height. As shown in FIG7 and FIG8, when the user wants to use the notebook computer 10, first, the user rotates the display 12 along direction A, and the rotation angle is, for example, 40 degrees. At this time, the display 12 drives the two connecting rods 142 to rotate along directions B and C respectively through the rotating shaft 141 and the turning component 143, and the two connecting rods 142 then synchronously drive the component body 131 of the functional component 13 to slide from the first bearing surface 112 to the inclined surface 114 along direction D.

10。As shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 , the user then continues to rotate the display 12 in direction A, and the rotation angle is, for example, 110 degrees. At this time, the display 12 continues to drive the two connecting rods 142 to rotate in directions B and C respectively through the rotating shaft 141 and the turning assembly 143, and the two connecting rods 142 continue to synchronously drive the assembly body 131 of the functional assembly 13 to slide from the inclined surface 114 along the direction E to the second second bearing surfaces 113 with a higher height. In this way, the assembly body 131 of the functional assembly 13 can slide from the first bearing surface 112 with a lower height through the inclined surface 114 to the second second bearing surfaces 113 with a higher height, so that the user can start to operate the notebook computer 10.

114。On the contrary, when the user has finished using the notebook computer 10 and wants to store it, the user first rotates the display 12 in the opposite direction of direction A. At this time, the display 12 drives the two connecting rods 142 to rotate in the opposite directions of direction B and direction C respectively through the rotating shaft 141 and the rotating assembly 143, and the two connecting rods 142 then synchronously drive the assembly body 131 of the functional assembly 13 to slide from the second bearing surfaces 113 in the opposite direction of direction E to the inclined surface 114.

10。Then, the user continues to rotate the display 12 in the opposite direction of direction A. At this time, the display 12 continues to drive the two connecting rods 142 to rotate in the opposite direction of direction B and direction C respectively through the rotating shaft 141 and the rotating assembly 143, and the two connecting rods 142 continue to synchronously drive the assembly body 131 of the functional assembly 13 to slide from the inclined surface 114 in the opposite direction of direction D to the first supporting surface 112. In this way, the display 12 covers the base 11, and the assembly body 131 of the functional assembly 13 slides from the second supporting surfaces 113 with higher heights through the inclined surface 114 to the first supporting surface 112 with lower height, so that the laptop 10 can be stored.

In the first embodiment, the display 12 drives the two connecting rods 142 to rotate relative to the base 11 through the rotating shaft 141, the first bevel gear 1431 and the second bevel gear 1432, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, please refer to Figures 11 and 12. Figure 11 is a partially enlarged top view schematic diagram of the notebook computer described in the second embodiment of the present invention. Figure 12 is a side view schematic diagram of the notebook computer of Figure 11. The notebook computer 10A of this embodiment is similar to the notebook computer 10 of the first embodiment, so the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment will be described below, and the similarities will not be repeated.

In the notebook computer 10A of this embodiment, the steering assembly 143A of the linkage assembly 14A includes a first missing tooth helical gear 1433 and a second missing tooth helical gear 1434. The first missing tooth helical gear 1433 and the second missing tooth helical gear 1434 are respectively disposed on the rotating shaft 141 and one of the two connecting rods 142, and are engaged with each other. The so-called missing tooth helical gear refers to a helical gear that does not include a complete circle of teeth but has a gap. The detailed operation method is as described in the first embodiment, and only the difference from the first embodiment is described below.

The display 12 drives the two connecting rods 142 to rotate relative to the base 11 through the rotating shaft 141, the first missing tooth helical gear 1433 and the second missing tooth helical gear 1434. In other words, when the display rotates relative to the base 11 along the direction A, the functional component 13 is synchronously driven to slide between the first bearing surface 112 and the two second bearing surfaces 113 along the directions D, E, the reverse direction of the direction D and the reverse direction of the direction E through the rotating shaft 141, the first missing tooth helical gear 1433, the second missing tooth helical gear 1434 and the two connecting rods 142.

In this embodiment, since the steering assembly 143A is provided with a first toothless bevel gear 1433 and a second toothless bevel gear 1434, the toothless portion of the first toothless bevel gear 1433 and the toothless portion of the second toothless bevel gear 1434 are not engaged with each other. Therefore, when the display 12 rotates relative to the base 11 to the position where the first toothless bevel gear 1433 and the second toothless bevel gear 1434 are not engaged with each other, the display 12 has driven the functional assembly 13 to slide along directions D and E to the second bearing surfaces 113, and will not continue to synchronously drive the functional assembly 13 to slide.

Please refer to Figures 13 to 15. Figure 13 is a partially enlarged schematic top view of a laptop computer according to the third embodiment of the present invention. Figure 14 is another partially enlarged schematic top view of the laptop computer of Figure 13. Figure 15 is a side view schematic view of the laptop computer of Figure 13. The laptop computer 10B of this embodiment is similar to the laptop computer 10 of the first embodiment, so the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment will be described below, and the similarities will not be repeated.

In the notebook computer 10B of this embodiment, the number of connecting rods 142B of the linkage assembly 14B is multiple. One of these connecting rods 142B has a second guide slot 1421, and another of these connecting rods 142B includes a guide post 1422. The guide post 1422 is movably disposed in the second guide slot 1421. The detailed operation method is as described in the first embodiment, and only the difference from the first embodiment is described below.

When the display 12 rotates relative to the base 11 in direction A, the guide post 1422 is driven by the turning assembly 143 to rotate along the second guide slot 1421 in direction F, without driving the remaining connecting rod 142B to rotate. In other words, the guide post 1422 idles in the second guide slot 1421, so that the linkage assembly 14B does not synchronously drive the functional assembly 13 to slide.

113。When the guide post 1422 rotates from one end of the second guide slot 1421 to the other end of the second guide slot 1421, the guide post 1422 abuts against the other end of the second guide slot 1421, so that the connecting rods 142B can drive the functional component 13 to slide along directions D and E to the two second bearing surfaces 113.

Please refer to Figures 16 to 19. Figure 16 is a partially enlarged side view schematic diagram of the laptop computer described in the fourth embodiment of the present invention. Figure 17 is a disassembled schematic diagram of the laptop computer in Figure 16. Figure 18 is a side view schematic diagram of the laptop computer in Figure 16 in which the first bevel gear and the second bevel gear are not engaged. Figure 19 is another side view schematic diagram of the laptop computer in Figure 16. The laptop computer 10C of this embodiment is similar to the laptop computer 10 of the first embodiment, so the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment will be described below, and the similarities will not be repeated.

In the notebook computer 10C of this embodiment, the steering assembly 143C includes an assembly 1435. The assembly 1435 is slidably mounted on the rotating shaft 141, and the first bevel gear 1431 is connected to the assembly 1435. The assembly 1435 has a first guide portion 14351, and the first guide portion 14351 is, for example, a guide groove and is inclined. The first guide portion 14351 is inclined from a side away from the first bevel gear 1431 to a side close to the first bevel gear 1431. The notebook computer 10C includes a second guide portion 19. The second guide portion 19 is, for example, a second guide portion. The second guide portion 19 can be movably disposed on the first guide portion 14351. The detailed operation is as described in the first embodiment, and only the differences from the first embodiment are described below.

When the display 12 rotates relative to the base 11 along direction A, the functional component 13 is driven from the first supporting surface 112 to the second supporting surface 113 along directions D and E through the engagement of the first bevel gear 1431 and the second bevel gear 1432. At this time, the assembly 1435 rotates along direction G, causing the first guide portion 14351 to be guided by the second guide portion 19, so that the assembly 1435 slides relative to the second guide portion 19. Since the first guide portion 14351 is inclined from a side away from the first bevel gear 1431 to a side close to the first bevel gear 1431, when the assembly 1435 rotates along direction G, it is guided by the first guide portion 14351 and the second guide portion 19 and moves along direction H together. In this way, the first bevel gear 1431 connected to the assembly 1435 will be separated from the second bevel gear 1432 due to the movement of the assembly 1435, so that the linkage assembly 14C will not continue to synchronously drive the functional assembly 13 to slide.

Although the present invention is disclosed as above with the aforementioned embodiments, they are not used to limit the present invention. Anyone skilled in similar techniques may make some changes and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of patent protection of the present invention shall be subject to the scope of the patent application attached to this specification.
