Abstract

A nail guiding member is configured to be installed in a nail gun having a nail rail, uprightly arranged in front of the nail rail, and integrally formed of one piece. The nail guiding member includes a plate body, a recess and a rib. The plate body includes a first side configured to be arranged to face the nail rail, the recess is disposed on the first side and includes two opposing side walls and a nail outlet between the two opposing side walls, the rib is fixedly disposed on and protrusive from a bottom surface of the recess and is lower than the first side, the rib extends toward the nail outlet, and the rib is closer to one of the opposing side walls than the other of the opposing side walls. A nail gun includes the nail guiding member, and further includes: a gun body including the movable nail rail thereinside; and a striker movably disposed in the gun body, the striker being movable to be between the nail rail and the recess of the nail guiding member.

Description

Guide nail component and nail gun including the guide nail component

The present invention relates to a nail gun, and more particularly to a nail guide component applicable to different nail pins and a nail gun comprising the nail guide component.

The nail gun achieves the binding effect by striking the nail pin with a striker plate, thereby causing the nail pin to be nailed into the target object. In order to ensure that the nail pin is properly kept in the track when firing, or to prevent the nail pin from being skewed and causing the nail to be stuck, some nail guns are provided with a nail guide member in front of the nail track to keep the nail pin properly in the track and wait for firing.

However, the nail guide member of the conventional nail gun is only applicable to nail pins of a single type and size, and is not applicable to nail pins of different types and sizes. Otherwise, the nail pins may be skewed, twisted, or even deformed, resulting in nail jam.

Therefore, it is necessary to provide a novel and advanced guide nail component and a nail gun including the guide nail component to solve the above-mentioned problems.

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a nail guide component and a nail gun including the nail guide component, which can be used for nails of different types and widths.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention provides a nail guide component for being arranged in a nail gun having a nail track and being uprightly arranged in front of the nail track. The nail guide component is a single component formed in one piece. The nail guide component includes a plate body, a groove and a convex rib. The plate body includes a first side surface configured to be arranged facing the nail track. The groove is recessed in the first side surface and includes two opposite side walls and a nail outlet between the two side walls. The convex rib is fixedly protruded on the groove bottom surface of the groove and is not higher than the first side surface. The convex rib extends in the direction of the nail outlet and is closer to one of the side walls.

To achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention further provides a nail gun, comprising a nail guide component, and further comprising: a nail gun body, wherein a movable nail rail is disposed inside the nail gun body; and a strike plate, which is movably disposed on the nail gun body and can be movably inserted between the nail rail and the groove of the nail guide component.

The following examples are merely used to illustrate possible implementations of the present invention, but are not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present invention, so it should be noted in advance.

Please refer to Figures 1 to 10, which show a nail guide component 1 and a nail gun 100 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. The nail guide member 1 of the present invention is provided in a nail gun 100 having a nail track 120 and is uprightly arranged in front of the nail track 120. The nail guide member 1 includes a plate body 10, a groove 20 and a rib 30. The plate body 10 includes a first side surface 11 configured to face the nail track 120. The groove 20 is recessed in the first side surface 11 and includes two opposite side walls 21 and a nail outlet 22 between the two side walls 21. The rib 30 is fixedly protruded on the bottom surface of the groove 20 and is not higher than the first side surface 11. The rib 30 extends in the direction of the nail outlet 22 and is closer to one of the side walls 21. Thereby, nails of different shapes and widths (such as U-shaped, U-shaped, T-shaped, etc.) can be used.

Preferably, the guide nail member 1 is a single member formed in one piece, which is easy and fast to manufacture and has a strong structural strength. The plate body 10 is a three-step platform structure. A second side surface 12 of the plate body 10 is provided with a groove 13 which is concave toward the first side surface 11 and opposite to the convex rib 30. The convex rib 30 is formed by stamping, for example. The groove 20 includes a first groove 23 adjacent to each other and two second grooves 24 adjacent to the first groove 23 on opposite sides. The two second grooves 24 are open to the first side surface 11. The convex rib 30 is convexly arranged on the groove bottom surface of the first groove 23. A side groove 241 is concavely arranged on the side wall of one of the second grooves 24. The convex rib 30 protrudes from the first groove 23 and is lower than the first side surface 11. Among them, the first groove 23 can be used to accommodate a smaller-sized U-shaped nail S1 (Figure 6), the second groove 24 can be used to accommodate a larger-sized U-shaped nail S2 (Figure 7), a U-shaped nail S3 can be accommodated between the rib 30 and one side wall of the first groove 23 (Figure 8), and a T-shaped nail S4 can be accommodated between one side wall of the second groove 24 and the nail rail 120, and the T-shaped nail S4 is placed on the bottom surface of the groove of the second groove 24 (Figure 9).

In this embodiment, the first groove 23 includes a first neck contraction 231 away from the nail outlet 22, the two second grooves 24 define a second neck contraction 242 opposite to and wider than the first neck contraction 231, and the plate body 10 further includes a concave arc surface 14 extending between the rib 30 and one of the side walls 21. The first neck contraction 231 and the second neck contraction 242 can limit the U-shaped nail pin to prevent it from escaping upward; the side groove 241 is conducive to installing and guiding the T-shaped nail pin; the concave arc surface 14 can prevent the nail pin from getting stuck in the nail outlet.

The rib 30 includes an inclined section 31 and a straight section 32 connected to each other, the inclined section 31 extends obliquely upward from the bottom surface of the groove 20 toward the straight section 32, and the straight section 32 extends toward the direction of the nail outlet 22. The inclined section 31 includes a first inclined surface 311 extending obliquely upward from the bottom surface of the groove 20 toward the straight section 32, and a second inclined surface 312 extending obliquely from the bottom surface of the groove 20 toward one of the side walls 21. The first inclined surface 311 and the second inclined surface 312 help guide the U-shaped nail pin to be nailed out, and the straight section 32 can effectively guide and limit the U-shaped nail pin.

The present invention further provides a nail gun 100, comprising a nail guide member 1, and further comprising: a nail gun body 110, wherein a movable nail rail 120 is disposed inside the nail gun body 110; and a strike plate 130, which is movably disposed on the nail gun body 110, and the strike plate 130 can be movably inserted between the nail rail 120 and the groove 20 of the nail guide member 1 for striking the nail needle.

A front end surface of the nail rail 120 is provided with a metal plate 121 facing the nail guide member 1. The metal plate 121 has high hardness and structural strength to prevent the nail needle from damaging the nail rail 120. The nail gun 100 further includes a cover 140 for covering the nail needle therein, and the nail rail 120 is slidably disposed on the cover 140. Preferably, the cover 140 includes at least one guide rib 141, and the nail rail 120 includes at least one guide groove 122 provided at one end. The nail rail 120 can move along the cover 140 so that the at least one guide rib 141 is inserted into the at least one guide groove 122. The at least one guide rib 141 is preferably provided with a guide slope 142 to stably and securely engage the nail rail 120 and the cover 140.

Claims (9)

A nail guide member is provided for being arranged in a nail gun having a nail track and being arranged upright in front of the nail track. The nail guide member is a single member formed in one piece. The nail guide member comprises a plate body, a groove and a convex rib. The plate body comprises a first side surface arranged to face the nail track. The groove is concavely arranged in the first side surface and comprises two opposite side walls and a nail outlet between the two side walls. The rib is fixedly protruded on the bottom surface of the groove and is not higher than the first side surface. The rib extends toward the nail outlet. The rib is closer to one of the side walls. The groove includes a first groove adjacent to each other and two second grooves adjacent to the two opposite sides of the first groove. The two second grooves are open to the first side surface. The rib is protruded on the bottom surface of the first groove. A guide nail member as described in claim 1, wherein a second side surface of the plate body is provided with a groove concave toward the first side surface and opposite to the convex rib. A nail guide component is provided in a nail gun having a nail track and is vertically arranged in front of the nail track. The nail guide component is a single component formed in one piece. The nail guide component includes a plate body, a groove and a rib. The plate body includes a first side surface configured to face the nail track. The groove is recessed in the first side surface and includes two opposite side walls and a rib on the two sides. The rib is fixedly protruded from the bottom surface of the groove and is not higher than the first side surface. The rib extends toward the direction of the nail outlet. The rib is closer to one of the side walls. The rib includes an inclined section and a straight section connected to each other. The inclined section extends upward from the bottom surface of the groove toward the straight section. The straight section extends toward the direction of the nail outlet. The guide nail member as described in claim 3, wherein the inclined section includes a first inclined surface extending obliquely upward from the bottom surface of the groove toward the straight section, and a second inclined surface extending obliquely from the bottom surface of the groove toward one of the side walls. The guide nail component as described in claim 1, wherein the plate body is a three-level platform structure. A nail guide member as described in claim 4, wherein a second side surface of the plate body is provided with a groove concave toward the first side surface and opposite to the convex rib; the groove includes a first groove and two second grooves adjacent to the first groove on two opposite sides, the two second grooves are open to the first side surface, and the convex rib is convexly provided on the groove bottom surface of the first groove; the plate body is a three-step platform structure; the first groove includes a first neck contraction away from the nail outlet, and the two second grooves define a second neck contraction opposite to and wider than the first neck contraction; the plate body further includes a concave arc surface extending between the convex rib and one of the side walls; the convex rib protrudes from the first groove and is lower than the first side surface; and a side groove is concavely provided on the side wall of one of the second grooves. A nail gun, comprising a nail guide member as described in any one of claims 1 to 6, and further comprising: a nail gun body, wherein a movable nail rail is provided inside; and a strike plate, which is movably provided on the nail gun body, and the strike plate can be movably inserted between the nail rail and the groove of the nail guide member. A nail gun as described in claim 7, wherein a front end surface of the nail rail is provided with a metal plate facing the nail guide member. The nail gun as described in claim 7 further includes a cover, the nail rail is slidably disposed on the cover, the cover includes at least one guide rib, the nail rail includes at least one guide groove, and the nail rail can move along the cover so that the at least one guide rib is inserted into the at least one guide groove.
