Abstract

A foldable bed frame mainly includes a bed frame seat, and a first support part and a second support part arranged on the side edge of the bed frame seat and capable of turning over along the bed frame seat. The first support part is connected to the bed frame seat by a positioning rod and a connecting rod; the second support part is connected to the bed frame seat by a connecting piece and a hydraulic rod; the second support part is provided with two fixing frames, and the two fixing frames are arranged in a corresponding manner so as to produce relative movement in the lateral direction. When in use, the first support part and the second support part are turned over to a vertical state and positioned by a connecting rod to form a bed frame. When not in use, the first support part and the second support part can be turned over to a horizontal state so that the first support part and the second support part are folded and flat against the bed frame seat, thereby allowing multiple bed frames to be stacked on each other for easy storage and transportation.

Description

Folding bed frame

The present invention relates to a foldable bed frame, in particular a foldable bed frame that allows multiple bed frames to be stacked on top of each other when not in use, so as to facilitate storage and transportation, and that can be formed into a single bed frame through simple operations when in use.

According to the general bed set, it usually includes a bed frame and a matching bed board or mattress, which is supported by the bed frame. The existing bed frames include wood and metal (iron, steel). Among them, although wooden bed frames have the advantage of being able to be used for a long time if they are properly maintained, they need to pay more attention to factors such as temperature and humidity. Long-term use requires attention to insect infestation and mold. In addition, there are disadvantages such as low load-bearing capacity, few choices, and high customization prices. Metal bed frames, as long as they are painted, or stainless steel or galvanized materials are used to reduce the possibility of rust, have the characteristics of being durable for a long time, generally higher load-bearing capacity, more freedom of change, and more styles. In today's society where every inch of land is valuable, metal bed frames are a very suitable choice for people with hoarding disorder or those who rent houses with many items at home.

The known metal bed frame, as shown in FIG1, usually comprises a frame 61 of appropriate size and a plurality of supporting legs 62, 63, etc., which are fixed and assembled at each connection point by integral molding or welding bolts. Due to its fixed shape, the space it occupies is difficult to reduce, and it is not convenient to move and change the placement position. In particular, during the production process, the industry not only occupies too much storage space when the finished product is stored, but also worries about being hit or hitting other furniture during transportation, which becomes a problem for the industry. Therefore, various metal bed frames are required to have the function of disassembly and assembly to facilitate storage and transportation. However, the disassembly and assembly of this type of bed frame is not only cumbersome, inconvenient and time-consuming, but also requires complete tools at home. For users who are not good at assembly, it is often difficult to identify various specifications of components during assembly, and they are not familiar with the assembly operation, making the installation difficult and time-consuming, which is not ideal.

In view of this, the applicant, after continuous research and experiments, came up with the idea of designing a foldable bed frame, which allows multiple bed frames to be stacked on top of each other for easy storage and transportation, and can be assembled into a bed frame through simple operations when in use.

The main purpose of the present invention is to provide a foldable bed frame, so that when the bed frame is not in use, multiple bed frames can be stacked on top of each other to facilitate storage and transportation, and when in use, they can be formed into a bed frame through simple operations, thereby making the bed frame more practical.

The aforementioned foldable bed frame includes a bed frame seat, and a first support portion and a second support portion arranged on the side edge of the bed frame seat and capable of turning over along the bed frame seat. The first support portion is connected to the bed frame seat by a positioning rod and a connecting rod; the second support portion is connected to the bed frame seat by a connecting piece and a hydraulic rod; the second support portion is provided with two fixing frames, and the two fixing frames are arranged in a corresponding manner so as to produce relative movement in the lateral direction. When in use, the first support portion and the second support portion are turned over to a vertical state and positioned by a connecting rod to form a bed frame. When not in use, the first support portion and the second support portion can be turned over to a horizontal state so that the first support portion and the second support portion are folded and flat against the bed frame seat, thereby allowing multiple bed frames to be stacked on each other for easy storage and transportation.

The aforementioned folding bed frame, wherein the bed frame base is a frame formed by a plurality of longitudinal bars and transverse bars interlaced, wherein one longitudinal side is provided with a wall of appropriate height, and a plurality of protruding steel balls are provided on the surface of the wall to facilitate the sliding and moving of the bed frame base.

The first supporting part of the aforementioned foldable bed frame is provided with a plurality of supporting positioning rods arranged at appropriate intervals and at appropriate vertical heights. A hinge is provided at the top end of the positioning rods for the shaft to pass through the hinge and the fixing hole provided on the cross bar of the bed frame base. The top edge of the positioning rods is connected to the cross bar, and the shaft is used as a fulcrum to enable the first supporting part to be flipped upward along the bed frame base to a horizontal state flush with the bed frame base, or flipped downward to a vertical state.

The upper edge of the second supporting part of the aforementioned foldable bed frame is connected to the longitudinal rod of the bed frame base by a plurality of spaced connecting parts, so that it can be turned upward along the bed frame base to a horizontal state flush with the bed frame base, or turned downward to a vertical state, with the connecting parts as the fulcrum.

The aforementioned foldable bed frame has an L-shaped support rod under the wall of the bed frame base. The support rod has through holes in the vertical and horizontal joint sections for pivoting to the wall, so that it can be flipped downward with the joint section as a fulcrum to form a leg frame, or flipped upward and stored in the wall when not in use.

The aforementioned foldable bed frame has a magnetic part at the end of the support rod, so that when it is not in use and is turned upward and stored in the wall, it can be magnetically attracted and positioned by the magnetic part.

Please refer to Figures 2 and 3 together with Figure 4, which are the three-dimensional diagrams of the bed frame and the supporting rod of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the present invention includes a bed frame 1, and a first support part 2 and a second support part 3 arranged on the side edge of the bed frame 1, which can be turned up and down along the bed frame 1. The bed frame 1 is a frame formed by a plurality of longitudinal rods 11 and transverse rods 12 interlaced, and one of the longitudinal sides is provided with a wall 13 of appropriate height, and a plurality of protruding steel balls 14 are provided on the surface of the wall 13.

The first support part 2 is provided with a plurality of support rods 21 arranged at appropriate intervals and at appropriate vertical heights. A hinge 211 is provided at the top of the positioning rods 21, so that the shaft 22 can pass through the hinge 211 and the fixing hole 121 provided on the cross bar 12 of the bed frame 1. The top edge of the positioning rods 21 is connected to the cross bar 12, and the shaft 22 is used as a fulcrum, so that the first support part 2 can be flipped upward along the bed frame 1 to a horizontal state flush with the bed frame 1, or flipped downward to a vertical state.

The bottom edge of the positioning rods 21 is provided with a bendable connecting rod 23, so that the other end of the connecting rod 23 is fixed at a proper position of the cross rod 12 at a proper tilt angle. When the first support part 2 is turned downward to a vertical state, the connecting rods 23 can be used to form a positioning.

The upper edge of the second support portion 3 is connected to the longitudinal rod 11 of the bed frame base 1 by a plurality of spaced connecting members 31, so that it can be turned upward along the bed frame base 1 to a horizontal state flush with the bed frame base 1, or turned downward to a vertical state, with the connecting member 31 as a fulcrum.

The second support part 3 is provided with a pneumatic rod 32 at an appropriate position, so that the other end of the pneumatic rod 32 is connected to the horizontal rod 12 of the bed frame base 1.

The inner edge of the second support portion 3 is connected to two fixing frames 34 by connecting members 33, so that the two fixing frames 34 are arranged in a corresponding manner so as to generate relative movement in the lateral direction.

The top edges of the two fixing frames 34 are connected to the longitudinal rod 11 of the bed frame base 1 by a bendable connecting rod 35, and the front bottom edges of the two fixing frames 34 are provided with pulleys 36. In this embodiment, the connecting member 31 and the connecting member 33 are hinges.

Below the wall 13 of the bed frame base 1, there is a generally L-shaped support rod 4, which is provided with a magnetic part 41 at the end and through holes 42 at the vertical and horizontal joint sections for pivoting to the wall 13, so that it can be flipped downward with the joint section as a fulcrum to form a leg, or flipped upward and stored in the wall 13 when not in use, and positioned by the magnetic attraction of the magnetic part 41.

By combining the above components, a foldable bed frame is formed. When in use, the bed frame base 1 is made upright, the two fixing frames 34 are first rotated out from the second supporting part 3 to open, and the two fixing frames 34 are positioned by the connecting rod 35, and the first supporting part 2 is then turned over to a vertical state and the two fixing frames 34 are positioned by the connecting rod 23, and the bed frame base 1 is then laid flat, so that the second supporting part 3 is naturally turned over to a vertical state, and the supporting rod 4 is then turned down to form a leg frame, thereby forming a bed frame. When not in use, the bed frame 1 can be erected, the two fixing frames 34 can be retracted to be flush with the second supporting part 3, and the first supporting part 2 can be turned horizontally so that the first supporting part 2 and the second supporting part 3 are flat against the bed frame 1, so that the upright bed frame 1 can be pushed along the ground by the steel balls 14 provided on the surface of the wall 13, so that multiple bed frames 1 can be stacked on each other for easy storage and transportation.

Please refer to Figures 5 and 6, which are the three-dimensional exploded view and three-dimensional view of the first support part of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the positioning rod 21 provided in the first support part 2 of the present invention is provided with a shaft 22 penetrating the fixing hole 121 provided in the hinge part 211 and the cross bar 12 of the bed frame base 1, and the top edge of the positioning rod 21 is connected to the cross bar 12, and the shaft 22 is used as a fulcrum, so that the first support part 2 can be turned upward along the bed frame base 1 to a horizontal state flush with the bed frame base 1, or turned downward to a vertical state. The bottom edge of the positioning rod 21 is provided with a bendable connecting rod 23, so that the other end of the connecting rod 23 is fixed to the appropriate position of the cross bar 12 at an appropriate tilt angle. When the first support part 2 is turned downward to a vertical position, the connecting rods 23 can be straightened to form a position; and when the first support part 2 is turned upward to a horizontal position, the connecting rods 23 are bent accordingly to be flush with the bed frame base 1.

Please refer to Figures 7 and 8 at the same time, which are the use status diagram of the present invention and the three-dimensional diagram of the second support part fixing frame being opened. Please refer to Figures 2 to 4. As shown in the figure, the second support part 3 of the present invention is connected to the longitudinal rod 11 of the bed frame seat 1 by a plurality of connectors 31 arranged at intervals, and the two fixing frames 34 are arranged in a corresponding manner so as to be able to produce relative movement in the lateral direction. When the present invention is used, the bed frame seat 1 is first placed in an upright position, and then the two fixing frames 34 are turned outward to open, and the connecting rod 35 is straightened to form a positioning structure, so that the fixing frames 34 are positioned at the bottom of the bed frame seat 1. After the two fixing frames 34 are positioned, the first support part 2 is flipped to a vertical state, and the connecting rod 23 is used to form a positioning structure, and then the bed frame seat 1 is lowered from an upright state to a horizontal state (see Figure 2). Among them, since the front bottom edge of the fixing frame 34 is provided with a pulley 36, when the bed frame base 1 is laid flat, the pulley 36 contacts the ground without causing wear to the ground.

The present invention has a gas pressure rod 32 connected to the horizontal rod 12 of the bed frame 1 at an appropriate position on the second support part 3. When the bed frame 1 is lowered, the pressure can be increased by the gas pressure rod 32, so that the bed frame 1 can be laid flat more easily. And because the second support part 3 is connected to the vertical rod 11 of the bed frame 1 by a connecting member 31, the second support part 3 naturally turns downward to a vertical state. After the bed frame 1 is laid flat, the support rod 4 is turned from the wall part 13 to form a foot frame that can be supported on the ground, completing the assembly and placement of the bed frame 1.

Please refer to Figures 9 and 10 at the same time, which are the folded state diagrams of the second support part fixing frame of the present invention. Please refer to Figures 2 to 4. As shown in the figure, when the present invention is not in use, the support rod 4 is flipped upward and stored in the wall 13, and the magnetic part 41 is used to attract the magnet to position. Then the bed frame seat 1 is flipped to an upright state, and the two fixing frames 34 are rotated inward to be aligned with the second support part 3. The connecting rod 35 is bent accordingly, so that the two fixing frames 34 are placed side by side on the second support part 3, and then the first support part 2 is flipped downward along the bed frame seat 1 to a horizontal state aligned with the bed frame seat 1. In this way, the upright bed frame seat 1 can be pushed along the ground by the steel balls 14 provided on the surface of the wall 13, so as to facilitate storage and transportation.

Please refer to Figure 11, which is a diagram of the stacking state of the present invention. Please refer to Figures 2 to 4. As shown in the figure, after the first supporting part 2 and the second supporting part 3 of the present invention are folded, the entire bed frame base 1 can be flat. In this way, multiple bed frames 1 can be stacked on each other, so that a large number of bed frames 1 will not occupy too much storage space when stored, and it is convenient to transport and move when shipping.

Please refer to Figure 12, which is another stacking state diagram of the present invention. Please refer to Figures 2 to 4 as shown in the figure. In addition to the empty bed frame base 1 being stacked as shown in Figure 11, when the bed frame base 1 is equipped with a mattress 5, a plurality of bed frame bases 1 equipped with mattresses 5 can also be stacked side by side, so that they will not occupy too much storage space when stored, and are convenient for transportation and moving.

The above embodiments are only for illustrating the preferred implementation of the present invention, but not for limiting the scope of the present invention. Any slight modification or change will not lose the essence of the present invention and will not deviate from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

In summary, this invention is composed of a bed frame, a first support part and a second support part arranged on the side of the bed frame, which can be turned up and down along the bed frame, and a fixing frame arranged on the second support part, to form a foldable bed frame. When the bed frame is not in use, multiple bed frames can be stacked on each other to facilitate storage and transportation, and when in use, a bed frame can be formed through simple operations, thereby making the bed frame more valuable in industry. It is a practical design and a truly innovative creation. Therefore, a patent application is filed in accordance with the law.
