Abstract

A safe deposit box selection suggestion system includes an object scanner, a database and a computing device. The object scanner is configured to sense the object to be stored to obtain its shape information. The database is configured to store usage status information and size information for a plurality of safe deposit boxes. The computing device is configured to communicate with the object scanner and the database, and is used to select one of the safe deposit boxes for storing the object to be stored according to the shape information of the object to be stored and the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit boxes in the bank.

Description

Safe deposit box selection recommendation system and safe deposit box selection method

The present invention relates to a safe deposit box selection recommendation system, and in particular to a recommendation system and a safe deposit box selection method applied to bank safe deposit box rental.

Nowadays, in order to avoid the loss or damage of valuables, people usually do not keep them at home or other risky places, but choose to place them in places that provide safekeeping services, such as banks. Therefore, the safe deposit box rental business has gradually become a large part of the many services provided by banks today, and helping customers choose suitable safe deposit boxes has also become a time-consuming and labor-intensive business that bank employees often undertake.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a safe deposit box selection recommendation system, which can be used by banking operators to provide comprehensive safe deposit box rental services and assist bank employees in recommending customers who need to use safe deposit boxes to rent the most suitable safe deposit box at present.

In accordance with the above purpose, the present invention proposes a safe deposit box selection recommendation system, which includes an object scanner, a database and a computing device. The object scanner is configured to sense the object to be stored by the customer user to obtain its appearance information. The database is configured to store the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit box. The computing device is configured to communicate with the object scanner and the database, and selects one of the safe deposit boxes for storing the object to be stored according to the appearance information of the object to be stored by the customer user and the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit boxes in the bank.

In some embodiments, the database is configured to store location information and fee information of each safe deposit box, and the computing device selects the most suitable safe deposit box based on the appearance information of the customer user's objects to be stored and the usage status information, size information, location information and fee information of the bank's safe deposit boxes.

In some embodiments, the computing device is configured to determine the area in the selected safe deposit box where the object to be stored should be placed based on the appearance information, retrieval probability information, weight information, and material information of the customer user.

In some embodiments, the safe deposit box selection recommendation system includes an interactive display device configured to execute an interactive linkage program to guide the customer user to place the items to be stored in the planned area of the selected safe deposit box.

In some embodiments, the interactive display device may be augmented reality (AR) glasses.

In some embodiments, the safe deposit box selection recommendation system includes a weight sensor configured to sense the weight of the items to be stored by the customer user to obtain the weight information thereof.

In some embodiments, the database is configured to store the appearance information of one or more objects already kept by the same customer user as the object to be kept by the customer user and the usage status information of the current bank safe deposit box, and the computing device selects a safe deposit box for storing the object to be kept by the customer user and one or more objects already kept by the customer user based on the appearance information of the object to be kept by the customer user, the appearance information of one or more objects already kept, the usage status information and the size information of the current bank safe deposit box.

In some embodiments, the computing device is configured to determine the order of placing the contents of the safe deposit box of the client user's objects to be stored and one or more of the objects already stored based on the appearance information, retrieval probability information, weight information and material information of the objects to be stored and one or more of the objects already stored.

In some embodiments, the object scanner may be a stereo vision sensor, a structured light sensor, or a time of flight (TOF) sensor.

In accordance with the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention further proposes a method for selecting a safe deposit box, which comprises: providing a database, wherein the database is configured to store usage status information and size information of a plurality of safe deposit boxes; using an object scanner to sense the objects to be stored by the customer user to obtain their appearance information; and using a computing device to calculate the appearance information of the objects to be stored by the customer user, the usage status information and size information of these safe deposit boxes to select one of the safe deposit boxes for storing the objects to be stored by the customer user.

The following is a detailed discussion of embodiments of the present invention. It is understood that the embodiments provide many applicable concepts that can be implemented in a variety of specific contexts. The embodiments discussed and disclosed are for illustration only and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention.

FIG1 is a functional block diagram of a safe deposit box selection recommendation system 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The safe deposit box selection recommendation system 100 includes an object scanner 110, a database 130, and a computing device 140. The object scanner 110 may be a stereo vision sensor, a structured light sensor, a time of flight (TOF) sensor, or a combination thereof. The database 130 may be a relational database, a non-relational database, or a combination thereof. The computing device 140 may be a personal computer, a laptop computer, a tablet computer, or other devices including a processor. In the embodiment of the present invention, the object scanner 110, the database 130 and the computing device 140 all belong to a bank, and the customer user needs to be a corporate or individual customer of the bank.

In one embodiment of the present invention, after accepting the safe deposit box rental business, the bank clerk who undertakes the safe deposit box rental business must first check the usage status of all safe deposit boxes in the bank in the database 130 to obtain safe deposit box options that can still be provided to customer users for rental.

In one embodiment of the present invention, if the customer user is applying for a safe deposit box rental business for the first time, the bank clerk must first request the customer user to provide basic user information and create a personal file in the database 130.

The object scanner 110 can be connected to the database 130 and the computing device 140 via Internet communication. After the object scanner 110 senses the object to be stored by the customer user and obtains its appearance information, the appearance information can be transmitted to the database 130 for filing in the relevant information field of the customer, so that the computing device 140 can use it as a basis for selecting the size of the safe deposit box and giving suggestions on the placement of the contents of the safe deposit box. In one embodiment of the present invention, the communication connection between the object scanner 110, the database 130 and the computing device 140 can be through a wireless and/or wired network.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the length, width, and height information of the object to be stored by the customer user is sensed by the object scanner 110, and the weight information is sensed by the weight sensor 120.

In one embodiment of the present invention, after the client user's object to be kept is deposited into the safe deposit box, the access status of the client user's object to be kept will be changed to "deposited" in the database 130.

In one embodiment of the present invention, after one or more stored objects of a client user are taken out from the safe deposit box, the access status of the one or more stored objects of the client user will be changed to "taken out" in the database 130.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the computing device 140 comprehensively arranges and combines the placement methods within the limited safe deposit box space based on the sizes of safe deposit boxes that can be rented in the bank, the items to be kept by the customer users, and one or more items already kept by the customer users, so as to find the most suitable size and placement method for the rented safe deposit box.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the computing device 140 is further used to determine the planned area of the object to be stored in the safe deposit box according to the shape information, extraction probability information, weight information and material information of the object to be stored, so as to instruct the customer user to place the object to be stored in the planned area. In addition, in one embodiment of the present invention, the computing device 140 is further used to determine the placement order of the object to be stored and the stored object in the safe deposit box according to the shape information, extraction probability information, weight information and material information of the object to be stored and the at least one stored object. For example, the computing device 140 may provide placement suggestions for the contents of the safe according to the following rules: fragile objects cannot be placed under other objects; and objects with a higher probability of being retrieved are placed closer to the door of the safe, that is, the later they are placed in the order in the safe.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the safe deposit box space planning algorithm executed by the computing device 140 is as follows: if the space consumed by placing the i-th type of storage object in a safe deposit box with a capacity of v is _Ci and the value obtained is _Wi , its probability of being extracted is _Ri , and the algorithm of _Wi for each storage object is _100Ri , then the maximum value f[i][v] that can be obtained by placing the first i items in this safe deposit box is calculated as follows: f[i][v]=max{f[i-1][v- _kCi ]+ _kWi }, where 0≤k≤v/ _Ci .

In one embodiment of the present invention, if the customer user is not applying for a safe deposit box rental business for the first time, the bank clerk needs to check the customer user's safe deposit box usage status in the database 130, including the size and number of rented safe deposit boxes, information on one or more stored objects and their placement, etc., so that when accepting a new request for safe deposit boxes from the customer user, the computing device 140 can take into account the safe deposit box size to be selected and provide safe deposit box content placement recommendations.

In some embodiments, the safe deposit box selection recommendation system 100 further includes an interactive display device, which may be an augmented reality (AR) glasses or other devices that can provide interactive display functions. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a situation in which a customer user places a safe deposit box B under the guidance of the interactive display device 210 of the safe deposit box selection recommendation system 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. After the computing device 140 obtains the results of the safe deposit box selection recommendation and the safe deposit box content placement recommendation, the customer user may use the interactive display device 210 to guide the safe deposit box content placement. For example, if a customer user brings a pure gold necklace to a bank to deposit an item in a safe deposit box, and the items stored in the customer user's rented safe deposit box are antique teapots, confidential documents, and famous paintings, the computing device 140 can calculate a safe deposit box selection recommendation based on the information of the above-mentioned safe deposit objects, that is, determine whether to continue using the original safe deposit box or replace it with another safe deposit box in the rented bank, and then the computing device 140 can calculate the safe deposit box selection recommendation based on the safe deposit object information. The safe space planning rules and algorithms further provide suggestions for the placement of the stored objects in safe deposit box B. For example, an antique teapot is a fragile object and should not be placed under other stored objects; a pure gold necklace has the highest probability of being retrieved among all stored objects and should be placed closest to the door of safe deposit box B, etc. Finally, the customer user can wear the interactive display device 210 and follow its visual guidance to place the contents of the safe deposit box.

In summary, the safe deposit box selection recommendation system of the present invention can assist bank staff in providing recommendations to customers who need to use safe deposit boxes to rent the most suitable safe deposit boxes at present. In addition, in some embodiments, the safe deposit box selection recommendation system of the present invention can further guide customers to place the contents of their safe deposit boxes through interactive display devices to maximize the benefits of space utilization, thereby providing more complete safe deposit box rental services.

A safe deposit box selection recommendation system includes: an object scanner for sensing an object to be stored to obtain an appearance information of the object to be stored; a database, which is communicatively connected to the object scanner and configured to store usage status information and size information of a plurality of safe deposit boxes; and a computing device, which is communicatively connected to the database and is used to determine a first selected safe deposit box among the safe deposit boxes for storing the object to be stored based on the appearance information of the object to be stored and the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit boxes. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 1, wherein the database is further configured to store location information and fee information of each of the safe deposit boxes, and the computing device is used to determine the first selected safe deposit box based on the appearance information of the object to be stored and the usage status information, size information, location information and fee information of the safe deposit boxes. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 1, wherein the computing device is further used to determine a planned area of the object to be stored in the first selected safe deposit box based on the shape information, a retrieval probability information, a weight information and a material information of the object to be stored. The safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 3 further comprises: An interactive display device configured to execute an interactive linkage program to guide a customer user to place the object to be stored in the planned area in the first selected safe deposit box. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 4, wherein the interactive display device is an augmented reality (AR) glasses. The safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 3 further includes: a weight sensor for sensing the weight of the object to be stored to obtain the weight information of the object to be stored. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 1, wherein the database is further configured to store the shape information of at least one stored object belonging to the same customer user as the object to be stored and the usage status information of the safe deposit boxes, and the computing device is used to determine a second selected safe deposit box among the safe deposit boxes for storing the object to be stored and the at least one stored object based on the shape information of the object to be stored, the shape information of the at least one stored object, and the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit boxes. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 7, wherein the computing device is further used to determine the order in which the object to be stored and the at least one stored object are placed in one of the second selected safe deposit boxes based on the appearance information, extraction probability information, weight information and material information of the object to be stored and the at least one stored object. A safe deposit box selection recommendation system as described in claim 1, wherein the object scanner is a stereo vision sensor, a structured light sensor or a time of flight (TOF) sensor. A method for selecting a safe deposit box includes: providing a database configured to store usage status information and size information of a plurality of safe deposit boxes; using an object scanner to sense an object to be stored to obtain an appearance information of the object to be stored; and using a computing device to calculate the appearance information of the object to be stored and the usage status information and size information of the safe deposit boxes to determine a selected safe deposit box from the safe deposit boxes for storing the object to be stored.
