本發明係關於驅避紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品。
近年來,已在日本國內發現被指定為特定外來生物的害蟲,並成為一個重大的社會問題。作為這般之特定外來生物,例如已知有紅火蟻類或火蟻類(以下,有總稱為「特定外來螞蟻」情況。惟,於本發明,阿根廷螞蟻定為未包含在特定外來螞蟻者)。特定外來螞蟻係與本地螞蟻為不同種類之螞蟻類。具有強烈毒性或高繁殖力為特徵。因此,當發現特定外來螞蟻時,完全驅除該等雖很自然的,但重要的是採取驅避對策來防止特定外來螞蟻入侵人類的生活區域變成迫切需要。
以往,作為用以驅避螞蟻類之藥劑,例如已知有將天然精油作為有效成分之驅避劑(例如參照專利文獻1)。專利文獻1中作為螞蟻類之驅避劑的有效成分,記載有橡木苔、橙花油、檀香油、綠薄荷油、百里香白油、廣藿香油、玫瑰草油、檸檬草油、月桂油、大蒜油、金木犀油、椰子油、肉桂葉油、蒔蘿油(Inon oil)、百里香紅油、吐魯香膠、樺樹油、秘魯香膠。
又,使用待乙妥(DEET)等之藥劑,防除螞蟻類之方法自以往即被進行(例如參照專利文獻2)。待乙妥一般而言雖被作為對於蚊類等之雙翅目害蟲之驅避成分使用,但根據專利文獻2,螞蟻類等之膜翅目害蟲亦被作為防除對象害蟲之一而列舉。

[發明欲解決之課題]
然而,特定外來螞蟻與一般的本地螞蟻生態大不相同。本地螞蟻在地下之外,並在枯樹內部形成群體(colony)(巢穴),並在相對比較少數的家族單位中進行生命活動。另一方面,特定外來螞蟻已知在地下深處形成群體,並且有二種類的生態:一個群體當中存在一隻蟻后之單一女王制、與存在多數隻蟻后之多女王制。尤其是具有多女王制生態的特定外來螞蟻,群體內蟻后的個體數越多,繁殖力越高,一個群體內亦可多達4000萬隻的螞蟻進行生命活動。
如此,特定外來螞蟻由於與本地螞蟻在活動規模或行為模式大不相同,故對特定外來螞蟻之群體即使適用以往所使用之專利文獻1所記載之螞蟻類的驅避劑(有效成分:天然精油),或專利文獻2所記載之防除劑(有效成分:待乙妥),並非總是可以完全驅避或防除特定外來螞蟻,不僅如此,亦有一部分蟻后快速察覺驅避劑或防除劑的存在,並且為了逃避該等之驅避效果或防除效果,而導致與群體分離的可能性。
本發明係鑑於上述之問題點而完成者,以提供一種可對特定外來螞蟻有效果地帶來驅避作用之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品作為目的。
[用以解決課題之手段]
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物雖已知以往對於蚊類、蚋類、蝶蠅類、家蠅類、厩蠅類、蟑螂類等之害蟲顯示驅避效果,但根據對於紅火蟻類、火蟻類等之特定外來螞蟻亦顯示優異之驅避效果的嶄新發現,判斷可成為用以驅避紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之有效成分(驅避成分)。據此,含有本構成之哌啶衍生物的害蟲驅避劑,作為紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類用之害蟲驅避劑有用,若使用本構成之害蟲驅避劑,可減低因紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類導致之被害。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,
在前述式(I),R較佳為碳數2~6之烷氧基。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,在上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,作為取代基R,藉由選擇碳數2~6之烷氧基,可成為對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類具有更為優異之驅避效果的害蟲驅避劑。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,
前述R較佳為1-甲基丙氧基。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,在上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,作為取代基R,藉由選擇1-甲基丙氧基,該哌啶衍生物作為害蟲驅避效果高且對人體安全性優異之埃卡瑞丁(Icaridin),可成為對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類具有更為優異之驅避效果的害蟲驅避劑。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,
作為驅避香料成分,較佳為進一步含有以下之(a)及(b):
(a)總碳數8~16之烴醛類及/或烴酮類
(b)總碳數8~12之單萜烯系醇類及/或芳香族醇類中之至少一者。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,除了上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物之外,藉由進一步含有上述(a)及(b)中之至少一者的驅避香料成分,並藉由哌啶衍生物與驅避香料成分的協同效果,可強力驅避紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類。又,由於哌啶衍生物為無香性,故組合驅避香料成分時,對該驅避香料成分原本的香氣幾乎完全不影響。據此,哌啶衍生物可說是與驅避香料成分的兼容性良好之驅避成分。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,較佳為
前述(a)之驅避香料成分為選自由癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、檸檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、鈴蘭醛、紫蘇醛、Trivertal、小茴香醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、順式-茉莉酮、二氫茉莉酮、α-突厥酮(Damascone)、β-突厥酮、δ-突厥酮、α-紫羅蘭酮、β-紫羅蘭酮、2-戊基環戊酮、2-己基環戊酮、2-庚基環戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮所構成之群組中之至少一者,
前述(b)之驅避香料成分為選自由芳樟醇、脫氫芳樟醇、二氫月桂烯醇、香葉醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、異洋薄菏醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚所構成之群組中之至少一者。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,藉由將上述(a)之驅避香料成分與上述(b)之驅避香料成分從上述之各個選項當中選擇,可成為可更強力驅避紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之害蟲驅避劑。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,較佳為以(a)/(b)=0.1/1~9/1的摻合比率(重量比)含有前述(a)之驅避香料成分與前述(b)之驅避香料成分。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,藉由以上述之摻合比率(重量比)含有上述(a)之驅避香料成分與上述(b)之驅避香料成分,得到藉由不同種類之驅避香料成分所增強之驅避效果(協同效果),且可得到即使芳香亦令人愉悅的害蟲驅避劑。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,
作為驅避效果持續成分,較佳為進一步含有甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,由於甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類為較哌啶衍生物蒸氣壓更高之物質,故抑制因甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類導致哌啶衍生物之過度揮發。其結果,藉由哌啶衍生物之對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類的驅避效果持續長期時間。
在本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,較佳為實質上未含有殺蟲成分。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避劑,即使實質上未含有殺蟲成分,亦可藉由上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,得到對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之驅避效果。因此,即使對於對殺蟲成分敏感的消費者而言,亦可成為對日常的使用之抵抗小的害蟲驅避劑。又,當害蟲變成對待乙妥等之以往的驅避成分具有耐性的情況下,亦期待驅避效果。
為了解決上述課題之本發明的害蟲驅避製品的特徵構成,係作為含有上述任一種之害蟲驅避劑的液狀製劑、凝膠狀製劑或固體劑來構成。
根據本構成之害蟲驅避製品,由於含有本發明之害蟲驅避劑,成為用以驅避紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之實用且有用的害蟲驅避製品。又,作為製品形態,藉由採用液狀製劑、凝膠狀製劑或固體劑,可成為易於使用之害蟲驅避製品。
本發明針對以往已知對於蚊類、蚋類、蝶蠅類、家蠅類、厩蠅類、蟑螂類等之害蟲顯示驅避效果之哌啶衍生物,本發明者們重複努力研究時,得到此哌啶衍生物超乎預期,對於成為現在社會問題之紅火蟻類或火蟻類等之特定外來螞蟻具有特別優異之驅避效果的嶄新發現,並根據此,而終至完成對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品。以下,針對本發明之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品進行說明。惟,本發明並非故意被限定於以下之實施形態的構成或實施例的內容者。
[害蟲驅避劑]
本發明之害蟲驅避劑作為對於紅火蟻類及/或火蟻類之驅避成分,係含有以下之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,
R:碳數2~6之烷基或烷氧基
在上述式(I),取代基之R雖為碳數2~6之烷基或烷氧基,但較佳為碳數2~6之烷氧基。
R為碳數2~6之烷基時,可列舉乙基、n-丙基、異丙基、n-丁基、sec-丁基、異丁基、tert-丁基、戊基、己基等。R為碳數2~6之烷氧基時,可列舉乙氧基、n-丙氧基、異丙氧基、n-丁氧基、tert-丁氧基、1-甲基丙氧基、2-甲基丙氧基等。此等之取代基R當中,最佳者係R為碳數4之烷氧基之1-甲基丙氧基,此為以下之式(II)表示之1-甲基丙基2-(2-羥乙基)-1-哌啶羧酸酯[別名:埃卡瑞丁]。。
上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物作為害蟲驅避成分,與自以往即被一般使用之待乙妥相比較,係蒸氣壓稍微低之物質。例如,代表性哌啶衍生物之上述式(II)表示之埃卡瑞丁的蒸氣壓為0.059Pa(25℃),待乙妥的蒸氣壓為0.23Pa(25℃)。儘管如此,如後述之實施例的結果所示,含有哌啶衍生物之本發明之害蟲驅避劑,對於紅火蟻類或火蟻類等之特定外來螞蟻顯示優異之驅避效果。另一方面,含有待乙妥之以往的害蟲驅避劑與含有哌啶衍生物之本發明之害蟲驅避劑相比較,對於特定外來螞蟻之驅避效果顯著劣化。此推測是因為哌啶衍生物的驅避效果相較於因有效成分(驅避成分)之揮發造成之空間驅避效果,反倒是依存藉由對對有效成分之害蟲的接觸之接觸驅避效果較大。
然而,本發明之害蟲驅避劑僅含有作為有效成分之哌啶衍生物,雖可對於特定外來螞蟻顯示實用上無問題之驅避效果,但藉由空間驅避效果彌補接觸驅避效果的情況下,變成藉由協同效果可更強力驅避特定外來螞蟻。因此,在本發明之害蟲驅避劑,除了上述式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物之外,併用驅避香料成分為有效。尚,由於哌啶衍生物為無香性(沒有驅蟲劑特有的氣味),與驅避香料成分組合時,對該驅避香料成分原本的香氣幾乎不影響。據此,哌啶衍生物可說是與驅避香料成分的兼容性良好之驅避成分。
可與哌啶衍生物組合的驅避香料成分為(a)總碳數8~16之烴醛類及/或烴酮類及(b)總碳數8~12之單萜烯系醇類及/或芳香族醇類。上述(a)之驅避香料成分及上述(b)之驅避香料成分可僅使用其任一種,亦可使用兩者。
例示上述(a)之驅避香料成分時,可列舉癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、檸檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、鈴蘭醛、紫蘇醛、女真醛(Trivertal)、小茴香醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、順式-茉莉酮、二氫茉莉酮、α-突厥酮、β-突厥酮、δ-突厥酮、α-紫羅蘭酮、β-紫羅蘭酮、2-戊基環戊酮、2-己基環戊酮、2-庚基環戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮。此等之(a)之驅避香料成分可單獨使用,亦可組合複數種使用。
例示上述(b)之驅避香料成分時,可列舉芳樟醇、脫氫芳樟醇、二氫月桂烯醇、香葉醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、異洋薄菏醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚。此等之(b)之驅避香料成分可單獨使用,亦可組合複數種使用。
併用上述(a)之驅避香料成分與上述(b)之驅避香料成分的情況下,兩者的摻合比率(a)/(b)以重量比較佳為設定在0.1/1~9/1,更佳為設定在0.5/1~1.4/1。若摻合比率(a)/(b)為上述的範圍,得到藉由不同種類之驅避香料成分(a)及(b)而增強之驅避效果(協同效果),且成為即使芳香亦令人愉悅者。摻合比率(a)/(b)較0.1/1更小時或摻合比率(a)/(b)較9/1更大時,變成難以享受到藉由併用不同種類之驅避香料成分(a)及(b)的協同效果。
本發明之害蟲驅避劑作為與上述(a)及(b)不同之驅避香料成分,亦可含有(c)總碳數8~16之烴酯類。上述(c)之驅避香料成分係與上述(a)之驅避香料成分或上述(b)之驅避香料成分合作,為可有助於對於特定外來螞蟻之驅避效果的增強之成分。
例示上述(c)之驅避香料成分時,可列舉乙酸癸酯、乙酸沈香酯、乙酸香葉酯、乙酸香茅酯、乙酸薄荷腦酯、乙酸松油腦酯、乙酸橙花酯(Neryl acetate)、乙酸p-t-丁基環己酯、乙酸三環癸烯酯、丙酸三環癸烯酯、異丁酸三環癸烯酯、乙酸苄酯、乙酸苯基乙酯、乙酸蘇合香酯、乙酸桂醯酯、丙酸桂醯酯、己酸烯丙酯、庚酸烯丙酯、苯甲酸甲酯、苯甲酸乙酯、苯甲酸3-己烯酯、苯甲酸苄酯、肉桂酸甲酯、肉桂酸乙酯、水楊酸甲酯、水楊酸乙酯、水楊酸戊酯、茉莉酮酸甲酯及二氫茉莉酮酸甲酯。此等之(c)之驅避香料成分可單獨使用,亦可組合複數種使用。
本發明之害蟲驅避劑如有必要亦可含有驅避香料成分以外之成分。作為這般之成分,可列舉d-檸檬烯、α-蒎烯、β-蒎烯等之烴類、異戊基苯基乙基醚、芳樟醇氧化物、1,8-桉油酚、玫瑰氧化物、二苯基醚、曼可羅蘭(Magnolan)、大黃呋喃(Rhubafuran)、二氫茚基-2,4-二噁烷等之烴醚類、2,6-二甲基-3-乙基吡嗪、香茅基腈、欖青酮(stemone)、o-胺基苯乙酮等之含氮化合物類、檀香油、綠薄荷油、百里香白油、廣藿香油、大蒜油、肉桂葉油、百里香紅油、茉莉油、橙花油、佛手柑油、橙油、天竺葵油、苦橙葉油、檸檬油、檸檬草油、肉桂油、桉樹油、檸檬桉樹油等之精油類等。
進而,本發明之害蟲驅避劑含有甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類為有效。甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類不僅作為驅避成分或驅避香料成分的溶劑,亦被作為持續驅避成分或驅避香料成分的驅避效果之驅避效果持續成分進行作用。此係起因於甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類為較哌啶衍生物蒸氣壓更高之物質。將甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類添加在哌啶衍生物時,抑制哌啶衍生物的過度揮發,其結果,對於藉由哌啶衍生物之特定外來螞蟻的驅避效果可持續長期時間。
作為驅避效果持續成分,例示可使用之甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類時,可列舉丙二醇(10.7Pa)、二丙二醇(1.3Pa)、三丙二醇(0.67Pa)、二乙二醇(3Pa)、三乙二醇(1Pa)、1,3-丁二醇、己二醇(6.7Pa)、苄基二醇(2.7Pa)、二乙二醇單丁基醚(3Pa)、二丙二醇單丁基醚及三丙二醇單甲基醚。尚,記載在各物質名之後的括號內的數值為在20℃之蒸氣壓。此等之甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類當中,驅避效果持續成分較佳為二丙二醇。驅避效果持續成分的含量較佳為成為驅避成分及驅避香料成分的含量之0.2~10倍。
本發明之害蟲驅避劑中,若為對於特定外來螞蟻之驅避效果不會帶來干擾之物質及分量,則可摻合除臭成分、除菌成分、抗菌成分等之機能性成分。作為除臭成分,代表性有禾本科、山茶花科、銀杏科、木樨科、桑科、芸香科、虎尾科、柿樹科等之植物萃取物。又,藉由摻合被稱為「綠香」之青葉醇或青葉醛等,亦可賦予放鬆效果。
本發明之害蟲驅避劑較佳為成為從其含義實質上未含有殺蟲成分者。於此,所謂「實質上未含有」,並非意指無論在任何情況下,殺蟲成分的含量嚴密為0%。例如,變成無意間包含極微量之殺蟲成分的情況,或即使有意地包含極微量之殺蟲成分,亦無法發揮作為該殺蟲成分之作用的情況,可視為實質上未含有殺蟲成分之害蟲驅避劑。作為變成無意間包含極微量之殺蟲成分的情況之例,可列舉在害蟲驅避劑之製造設備中,製造以前含有殺蟲成分之其他製品的情況、附著在容器或配管之極微量的殺蟲成分作為污染混入害蟲驅避劑之例子,或漂浮或揮發在製造室內之空氣中的殺蟲成分被吸收在製造中之害蟲驅避劑而混入之例子等。這般的情況下,即使為包含極微量殺蟲成分者,亦被作為實質上未含有殺蟲成分之害蟲驅避劑操作。
本發明之害蟲驅避劑即使實質上未含有殺蟲成分,由於在本發明之害蟲驅避劑之必須成分即哌啶衍生物具有對於特定外來螞蟻之高驅避效果,成為顯示與含有以往之殺蟲成分的驅避劑為同等或其以上之驅避效果者。而且,實質上未含有殺蟲劑之本發明之害蟲驅避劑,即使對於對殺蟲成分敏感的消費者而言,亦可成為對日常的使用之抵抗小者。又,若為本發明之害蟲驅避劑,即使變成為害蟲對於待乙妥等之以往的驅避成分具有耐性的情況下,亦可期待驅避效果。
[害蟲驅避製品]
本發明之害蟲驅避劑雖不進行特別之加工,亦可直接使用在驅避特定外來螞蟻的用途,但實用上調製成易於使用劑型,作為含有0.01~99w/w%之害蟲驅避劑的害蟲驅避製品使用。害蟲驅避製品之劑型,代表性而言,可列舉液狀製劑、凝膠狀製劑、固體劑。
作為液狀製劑及凝膠狀製劑,例如可列舉液劑、乳劑、水溶劑、微乳液、氣霧劑、乳霜等。液狀製劑及凝膠狀製劑係製劑中之驅避成分、驅避香料成分、驅避效果持續成分等之各種成分的含量的調整容易。因此,例如藉由驅避成分的增量增強驅避效果,或是藉由驅避香料成分的增量成為芳香性高之製品等,具有容易變化害蟲驅避製品之商品特性的優點。
作為固體劑,例如可列舉粉劑、粒劑、誘餌劑等。固體劑由於沒有液體洩漏或指尖變濕的風險,故具有操作容易的優點。作為固體劑而構成之害蟲驅避製品,例如可藉由於適當之載體載持(含浸)害蟲驅避劑來調製。將害蟲驅避劑載持在載體時,如有必要可添加溶劑或界面活性劑等。作為載體,可列舉木粉、麵粉等之各種植物質粉末、紙、織布、不織布等之基布、Viscopearl等之多孔質有機成形體、高嶺土、滑石、碳酸鈣、矽石、矽砂、陶瓷等之無機載體、由聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)、乙烯/甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物(EMMA)、苯乙烯系二嵌段聚合物、苯乙烯系三嵌段聚合物、熱塑性樹脂彈性體(TPE、TPO)等所構成之薄膜或成形體、聚矽氧橡膠等。例如,載體為不織布的情況,可列舉將害蟲驅避劑藉由藥液分注方式或塗佈方式保持之方法,或是與石蠟蠟一起嵌入之方法。載體為薄膜或成形體的情況,可列舉將害蟲驅避劑藉由藥液分注方式或塗佈方式保持之方法,或是將害蟲驅避劑與溶劑一起進行噴灑或滴下,而浸透在薄膜或成形體之方法。載體為聚矽氧橡膠的情況,可列舉將以高濃度含有害蟲驅避劑之聚矽氧橡膠與無處理之聚矽氧橡膠投入密閉容器中,放置一定時間,通過聚矽氧橡膠全體使害蟲驅避劑的濃度平均化之方法。
在害蟲驅避製品之害蟲驅避劑的摻合量,雖因應該害蟲驅避製品的用途、使用期間、規格等適當調整,但為液狀製劑或凝膠狀製劑的情況,較佳為0.01~20w/v%,固體劑的情況,較佳為0.01~10w/w%。例如,使用載體之固體劑的情況,於假定為8~12小時之使用期間的害蟲驅避製品,較佳為每一製品含有害蟲驅避劑10~50mg。於假定為15~30天之使用期間的害蟲驅避製品,較佳為每一製品含有害蟲驅避劑100~2000mg。
在調製害蟲驅避製品,如有必要亦可摻合溶劑、界面活性劑、可溶化劑、凝膠基劑、凝膠化劑、分散劑、安定化劑、pH調整劑、著色劑等。作為溶劑,例如可列舉水、乙醇、異丙醇等之低級醇、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑、正石蠟或異石蠟等之烴系溶劑等。作為界面活性劑,例如可列舉聚氧乙烯硬化蓖麻油、聚氧乙烯高級烷基醚類(聚氧乙烯月桂基醚、聚氧乙烯油醯基醚等)、聚氧乙烯烷基苯基醚類、聚氧乙烯高級脂肪酸酯類、聚氧乙烯山梨糖醇脂肪酸酯類、聚氧乙烯甘油脂肪酸酯類、聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯烷基醚等之非離子系界面活性劑、月桂基胺氧化物、硬脂基胺氧化物、月桂基酸醯胺丙基二甲基胺氧化物等之高級烷基胺氧化物系界面活性劑。作為凝膠化劑,可列舉聚乙烯基醇、海藻酸、卡拉膠等。
本發明之害蟲驅避製品因應劑型被使用在各式各樣的場面。作為液狀製劑而構成之害蟲驅避製品,例如作為噴灑製品被散布在物體或環境來使用。作為凝膠狀製劑而構成之害蟲驅避製品,例如作為塗佈製品塗佈人體的皮膚來使用。作為固體劑而構成之害蟲驅避製品,例如,係於玄關、廚房,廁所,客廳、臥室、倉庫、車中、陽台、小袋(Porch)、庭院、家屋之周圍等散布或載置指定量來使用。尤其是害蟲驅避製品為固體劑的情況,將該害蟲驅避製品作為中心,由於形成使特定外來螞蟻不會靠近之立體屏障,故可通過廣泛範圍發揮驅避效果。於成形體或聚矽氧橡膠載持害蟲驅避劑,構成害蟲驅避製品者,可作為帶被捲繞在腳踝或鞋等,或是以如夾具般之固定具裝著在鞋等使用。於密封或薄膜載持害蟲驅避劑,構成害蟲驅避製品者,可於載體的下面設置黏著層,貼附在褲子的下部或鞋等使用。
害蟲驅避製品的施用量可因應劑型適當調整。於液狀製劑或凝膠狀製劑,施用量較佳為10~50mL/m2
。施用量未滿10mL/m2
時,無法期待充分之驅避效果,施用量超過50mL/m2
時,因膠黏導致不適感增加。於固體劑,施用量較佳為10~50g/m2
。施用量未滿10g/m2
時,無法期待充分之驅避效果,施用量即使超過50g/m2
,由於驅避效果幾乎未改變故並不經濟。
[實施例]
其次,針對使用本發明之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品之實施例進行說明。調製各種本發明之害蟲驅避劑,使用此等,實施將本地螞蟻及特定外來螞蟻作為對象之效力確認試驗(實施例1~19)。又,為了比較,針對以往之害蟲驅避劑亦實施同樣之效力確認試驗(比較例1~5)。尚,於以下之實施例,雖以mg表示各成分之重量單位,但本實施例可以任意之倍率規模提昇。據此,重量單位「mg」可改讀成「重量份」。
[害蟲驅避劑之調製]
依據下述表1所示之組成,調製實施例1~19及比較例1~5之害蟲驅避劑。
於此,害蟲驅避成分即表1中之哌啶a~f,在前述之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,取代基R為下述表2所示之官能基。
尚,哌啶a(埃卡瑞丁)、哌啶b及哌啶d係使用可於市場取得之試藥等級的化合物。針對哌啶c、哌啶e及哌啶f,藉由下述之順序使用本發明者們合成者。
[哌啶c]
將2-(2-羥乙基)-哌啶(715mg、5.53mmol)及三乙基胺(1.0ml、7.21mmol)溶解在甲苯6ml,於0℃加入氯仿酸己酯(910mg、5.53mmol)。其次,於20℃攪拌24小時後,對反應液注加水,使用乙酸乙酯萃取有機成分。其次,將包含有機成分之有機層使用硫酸鎂乾燥後,於減壓條件下進行濃縮,將殘渣附在二氧化矽凝膠管柱層析而得到哌啶c。將哌啶c的質量光譜示於以下。

除了在哌啶c之合成,取代氯仿酸己酯改使用氯仿酸癸酯之外,其他藉由同樣的順序,而得到哌啶e。將哌啶e的質量光譜示於以下。

除了在哌啶c之合成,取代氯仿酸己酯改使用n-壬醯氯(nonanoyl chloride)之外,其他藉由同樣的順序,而得到哌啶f。將哌啶f的質量光譜示於以下。

[效力確認試驗1]
分別將實施例1~19及比較例1~5之害蟲驅避劑溶解在丙酮5mL,調製害蟲驅避劑之藥液。將個別的供試藥液0.3mL使用噴灑器,於直徑15cm之濾紙的一邊一半滴下並風乾。此情況下,在乾燥後之濾紙,例如於實施例1,變成害蟲驅避劑濾紙每一半面包含3.0mg。其次,以包含此害蟲驅避劑之濾紙的半面(處理區)、與未包含害蟲驅避劑之濾紙的半面(無處理區)不重疊的方式,將濾紙放入直徑15cm之玻璃培養皿。而且,於玻璃培養皿之內壁塗佈滑石,分別放入30隻鳶色毛蟻(本地螞蟻之一種)或熱帶火家蟻(特定外來螞蟻之一種)作為供試蟲,計數於5分鐘後及2小時後存在於處理區及無處理區之螞蟻的數量(蟲數)。而且,將害蟲之驅避率依據下述之式求出。
驅避率(%)=(無處理區之蟲數-處理區之蟲數)/供試蟲數×100
實施3次上述之效力確認試驗1,將於各次之試驗所計數之蟲數的平均值使用在驅避率之計算。將試驗結果示於以下之表3。
根據上述之效力確認試驗1的結果,使用含有前述之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物的害蟲驅避劑時,從剛試驗後(5分鐘後)立即得到不會靠近特定外來螞蟻的一種即熱帶火家蟻的驅避效果。而且,該高驅避效果即使經過2小時後亦略能維持(實施例1~19)。尚,確認即使對於本地螞蟻之一種即鳶色毛蟻,亦與熱帶火家蟻為相同的效果(實施例1~19)。尤其是在式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,成為取代基R為碳數2~6之烷氧基之化合物的驅避效果優異,進而,取代基R為1-甲基丙氧基之化合物(埃卡瑞丁)之驅避效果更為優異的結果。
更詳細考察時,如實施例5~8及實施例9~19的結果所示,確認除了害蟲驅避成分,作為驅避香料成分,包含(a)總碳數8~16之烴醛類及/或烴酮類及(b)總碳數8~12之單萜烯系醇類及/或芳香族醇類中之至少一者的害蟲驅避劑,與僅包含害蟲驅避成分之害蟲驅避劑相比較,驅避效果提高(協同效果)。而且,根據本實施例,確認在(a)之驅避香料成分與(b)之驅避香料成分的摻合比率[(a)/(b)]為0.1/1~9/1的範圍,顯示高驅避效果。進而,從實施例12與實施例16的比較及實施例15與實施例17的比較,認為摻合二丙二醇的情況,有持續害蟲驅避成分之驅避效果的效果。
另一方面,如比較例1~5之結果所示,認為包含前述之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物以外之化合物,和廣泛用作人體用驅避劑之待乙妥之以往的害蟲驅避劑,不僅可以說對螞蟻具有足夠的驅避效果,並且對於熱帶火家蟻之驅避效果,較對於鳶色毛蟻之驅避效果更加劣化的傾向。
[效力確認試驗2]
分別將實施例1、5~14、18及比較例1~5之害蟲驅避劑溶解在丙酮5mL,使用經調製之害蟲驅避劑之藥液,在與上述之效力確認試驗1同樣的順序,實施將紅火蟻(特定外來螞蟻之一種)作為對象之效力效果試驗2。惟,存在於處理區及無處理區之螞蟻數量(蟲數)之計數僅定為5分鐘後。害蟲之驅避率的算出方法係與在效力確認試驗1之算出方法相同。將試驗結果示於以下之表4。
根據上述之效力確認試驗2之結果,使用含有前述之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物,尤其是使用含有取代基R為1-甲基丙氧基之化合物(埃卡瑞丁)的害蟲驅避劑時,從剛試驗後(5分鐘後),即使對於特定外來螞蟻之一種即紅火蟻亦得到優異之驅避效果。
進而,如實施例5~8之結果所示,確認除了害蟲驅避成分,作為驅避香料成分,包含(a)總碳數8~16之烴醛類及/或烴酮類及(b)總碳數8~12之單萜烯系醇類及/或芳香族醇類中之至少一者的害蟲驅避劑,與僅包含害蟲驅避成分之害蟲驅避劑相比較,驅避效果提高(協同效果)。又,從實施例5與實施例6的比較及實施例7與實施例8的比較,認為作為驅避香料成分,包含α-己基肉桂醛之害蟲驅避劑,相對於未包含α-己基肉桂醛之害蟲驅避劑,大幅提升驅避效果。
另一方面,如比較例1~5之結果所示,包含前述之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物以外之化合物,和廣泛用作人體用驅避劑之待乙妥之以往的害蟲驅避劑,即使對於紅火蟻之驅避效果亦成為劣化的結果。
如此,含有本發明之式(I)表示之哌啶衍生物之害蟲驅避劑,相對於特定外來螞蟻,顯示與本地螞蟻同等或其以上之驅避效果,係於以往之螞蟻驅避劑無法達成之值得注意的性能,證明本發明之害蟲驅避劑之有用性及實用性高。
[害蟲驅避製品之構成例]
其次,針對使用本發明之害蟲驅避劑之害蟲驅避製品的構成例進行說明。
[噴灑製品(液狀製劑)]
作為害蟲驅避成分,係調製含有前述之式(II)表示之埃卡瑞丁8.0g(4.0w/v%)、作為(a)之驅避香料成分之小茴香醛及2-戊基環戊酮1.0g(0.5w/v%)、作為(b)之驅避香料成分之l-薄荷醇及2-苯基乙基醇2.0g(1.0w/v%)、異丙基甲基酚0.2g(0.1w/v%)及源自柿萃取物之除臭成分1.0g(0.5w/v%)的害蟲驅避劑。於此害蟲驅避劑加入99%乙醇110g(55w/v%)及純化水將全量定為200mL,填充在泵噴灑容器,構成噴灑型之害蟲驅避製品(製品A)。
針對上述製品A,被驗者要去海邊(報告有紅火蟻棲息的區域)之前,小心噴灑遍布在上衣與褲子(表面上感到些許濕氣的程度,大約20mL/1m2
),特別在袖口與褲子的下部。以穿衣的狀態,雖在海邊散步了大約5個小時,但不僅沒有受到紅火蟻等之特定外來螞蟻,而且亦未受到本地螞蟻和其他害蟲來困擾,亦未有蜱類附著。
[塗佈製品(凝膠狀製劑)]
作為害蟲驅避成分,係調製含有前述之式(II)表示之埃卡瑞丁3.0g(5.0w/w%)、作為驅避效果持續成分之1,3-丁二醇3.0g(5.0w/w%)及作為紫外線劣化抑制成分之對甲氧基桂皮酸乙基己酯0.12g(0.2w/w%)的害蟲驅避劑。於此害蟲驅避劑加入作為凝膠基劑之羧基乙烯基聚合物0.09g(0.15w/w%)、作為凝膠化劑之三乙醇胺0.09g(0.15w/w%)、乙醇21g(35w/w%)及純化水,將全量定為60g,填充在凝膠吐出容器,構成無香料之凝膠型的害蟲驅避製品(製品B)。
又,於上述之製品B使用之害蟲驅避劑其他方式追加作為(a)之驅避香料成分之二氫茉莉酮0.6g(1.0w/w%)及作為(b)之驅避香料成分之l-苯基乙基醇及二氫月桂烯醇0.6g(1.0w/w%),使其他成分與於製品B使用之害蟲驅避劑為相同處方,調製以驅避香料賦香之凝膠型的害蟲驅避製品(製品C)。
準備2根直徑約4cm、長度為1m之棒,從一根棒之中央(50cm)附近,於上方以20g/m2
之塗佈量塗佈製品B。又,對於另一根棒,同樣亦以相同塗佈量塗佈製品C。將兩根棍子刺入紅火蟻頻繁進出的巢穴,觀察紅火蟻的行動時,對於任一棒,在紅火蟻爬到棒的中央附近為止後,觀察到回頭行動。而且,此紅火蟻的行動(回到巢穴)係製品C者較製品B更快一些。如此,顯示埃卡瑞丁對於紅火蟻等之特定外來螞蟻顯示高驅避效果,進而,證實藉由將(a)之驅避香料成分與(b)之驅避香料成分與埃卡瑞丁併用,增強對於特定外來螞蟻之驅避效果(協同效果)。
[產業上之可利用性]
本發明之害蟲驅避劑及害蟲驅避製品,係特別是在驅避、防除特定外來螞蟻為目的上有用者,進而,不僅作為家庭用驅避劑或驅避製品,亦可作為業務用驅避劑或驅避製品利用。
Claims (9)
- 如請求項1之用途,其中,在前述式(I),R為碳數2~6之烷氧基。
- 如請求項2之用途,其中,前述R為1-甲基丙氧基。
- 如請求項4之用途,其中,前述(a)之驅避香料成分為選自由癸醛、十一醛、十二醛、2-甲基十一醛、十三醛、10-十一碳烯醛、香茅醛、檸檬醛、橙花醛、苯基乙醛、肉桂醛、α-戊基肉桂醛、α-己基肉桂醛、鈴蘭醛、紫蘇醛、女真醛(Trivertal)、小茴香醛、胡椒醛、十三烷酮、l-香芹酮、薄荷酮、蒲勒酮、順式-茉莉酮、二氫茉莉酮、α-突厥酮(Damascone)、β-突厥酮、δ-突厥酮、α-紫羅蘭酮、β-紫羅蘭酮、2-戊基環戊酮、2-己基環戊酮、2-庚基環戊酮、甲基苄基酮及甲基苯乙烯基酮所構成之群組中之至少一種,前述(b)之驅避香料成分為選自由芳樟醇、脫氫芳樟醇、二氫月桂烯醇、香葉醇、橙花醇、香茅醇、薄荷醇、松油醇、萜品烯-4-醇、異洋薄菏醇、冰片、1-苯基乙基醇、2-苯基乙基醇、肉桂醇、百里酚及丁香酚所構成之群組中之至少一種。
- 如請求項4或5之用途,其係以(a)/(b)=0.1/1~9/1的摻合比率(重量比)含有前述(a)之驅避香料成分與前述(b)之驅避香料成分。
- 如請求項1~3中任一項之用途,其中,作為驅避效果 持續成分,其係進一步含有甘醇類及/或甘醇醚類。
- 如請求項1~3中任一項之用途,其係實質上未含有殺蟲成分。
- 如請求項1~3中任一項之用途,其中,前述害蟲驅避劑係作為液狀製劑、凝膠狀製劑,或固體劑構成。
