Description

本發明亦提供一種製造彈性纖維之方法,其包括:(a)提供選自由聚醚多元醇、聚酯多元醇、聚碳酸酯多元醇、及其組合物組成之群之多元醇;(b)提供二異氰酸酯;(c)使該多元醇及二異氰酸酯接觸以形成封端二醇;(d)提供包含至少第一二胺及第二二胺之鏈延伸劑;(e)提供包含單官能性胺(包括環己胺)之鏈終止劑組合物;(f)使該封端二醇、鏈延伸劑及鏈終止劑組合物於溶劑中接觸以生成聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液;及(g)將該聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液紡紗以形成彈性纖維,其中該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含約75:25至約85:15之第一二胺對第二二胺之比;及約10meq/Kg至約30meq/Kg之環己基脲末端。

以脂肪族第一胺鏈終止之聚胺基甲酸酯脲具有單烷基脲末端,例如以環己基胺作為鏈終止劑將生成環己基脲末端。利用(二級)二烷基胺之鏈終止生成二烷基脲末端。聚胺基甲酸酯脲中之胺末端係源於不完全反應之二胺鏈延伸劑。若干態樣之彈性纖維可具有約10meq/Kg至約60meq/Kg(包括約10meq/Kg至約40meq/Kg)之二乙基脲末端(例如約22meq/Kg至約26meq/Kg),約10meq/Kg至約30meq/Kg之環己基脲末端(例如約16meq/Kg至約20meq/Kg),及約12meq/Kg至約24meq/Kg之第一胺末端(例如約16meq/Kg至約20meq/Kg)。(所有測得之meq/Kg係基於聚合物固體計)。

適宜的多元醇或聚合二醇成份包括數量平均分子量為約600至約3,500(包括約1600至約2200,及約1800)之聚醚二醇、聚碳酸酯二醇、及聚酯二醇。可包括兩或多種聚合二醇或共聚物之混合物。

由若干態樣之聚胺基甲酸酯脲組合物製得之彈性纖維紗線及纖維可具有比包含二烷基脲及胺基末端之彈性纖維低之丹尼變異係數(CDV)。該丹尼變異係數之降低十分顯著。該彈性纖維CDV可依該纖維或紗線之丹尼變化。例如,該CDV可為約20或更低。對於具20丹尼之紗線,其CDV可為約18,對於具30丹尼之紗線,其CDV可為約15,對於具40丹尼之紗線,其CDV可為約14。
若干態樣之方法包括使聚合二醇與二異氰酸酯接觸以形成封端二醇。使該封端二醇與至少第一二胺鏈延伸劑及第二二胺鏈延伸劑(其可藉由摻合物或混合物提供)及包含單官能性胺(例如環己胺)之鏈終止劑組合物在溶劑中接觸,並將所得聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液進行溶液紡紗以形成彈性纖維。

通常而言,該封端二醇中NCO部份含量可為約2至6重量百分比(包括約2.3至約3.0,約2.5至約2.7)。
關於溶液紡紗,該封端二醇可溶於適宜的溶劑中,例如二甲基乙醯胺(DMAc)、N-甲基吡咯烷酮或二甲基甲醯胺)。該封端步驟可視需要於溶劑(例如包含基於溶劑重量計少於約50 ppm水及少於約2000 ppm甲醯胺及胺組合物之二甲基乙醯胺)中進行。

該第一二胺對第二二胺之重量比可為約75:25至約85:15(包括約80:20)。

該鏈終止劑組合物包括環己胺且亦可將其與其他適宜的鏈終止劑混合,例如具有5-12個碳原子(例如6-7個碳原子)之單胺(例如正戊胺、正己胺、正庚胺、甲基環己胺(例如1-胺基-3-甲基環己烷、1-胺基-2-甲基環己烷、及1-胺基-3,3,5-三甲基環己烷)、正十二胺、2-胺基降莰烷、1-金剛烷胺、不對稱二甲肼(UDMH)及其混合物))。可使用基於該聚合物成份總重計佔至少約2 meq/kg且至多為約55 meq/kg含量之該單胺。
若干態樣之方法中用於製備並紡成該彈性纖維之聚胺基甲酸酯脲固有黏度可為約0.90至約1.20 dl/g(包括約0.95至約1.10 dl/g)。
該聚合二醇可視需要包含酸及產酸成份(例如磷酸、苯磺酸、對甲苯磺酸、硫酸、羧醯氯、及酐及磷酸酯、及諸如此類),其等可於封端步驟前添加。可使用基於聚合二醇重量計佔至少約10且至多約125份/百萬(「ppm」)含量之該酸或產酸化合物。磷酸因其低腐蝕性係可用的。
亦可在該彈性纖維及若干態樣之方法中使用任何適宜含量之各種其他添加劑以獲得所需特性。實例包括消光劑,例如任意適宜含量(例如基於該聚合物重量計佔約0.05%至約0.5%)之二氧化鈦;穩定劑,例如水滑石、任意適宜含量(例如基於該聚合物重量計佔0.25%至5.0%)之碳酸鈣鎂石及水菱鎂礦混合物、硫酸鋇、受阻胺光穩定劑、紫外(UV)篩、受阻酚、及氧化鋅);染料及染料增強劑;及諸如此類。
可視需要在鏈延伸步驟中使用低含量之二乙烯三胺以控制溶液黏度。當包含二乙烯三胺時,適宜的含量包括基於聚合物重量計大於0至約500 ppm或大於0至約125 ppm,大於0至約250 ppm,約50 ppm至約250 ppm(包括約50 ppm至約125 ppm)。
聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液黏度係根據ASTM D1343-69之常規方法利用DV-8型落球(Falling Ball)黏度計(Duratech Corp.,Waynesboro,Va.)於40℃下操作測得且係以泊記。利用此儀器可測得之最高溶液黏度係35,000泊。
為測量丹尼變異係數(「CDV」),移除捲繞彈性纖維包裝表面前50米之纖維,以避免操作損壞引起誤差。然後利用滾動脫除自該包裝移除達130秒及將其饋送跨過包含壓電陶瓷針之張力計。該捲取輥圓周比該進料輥圓周大50%,且該進料輥及捲取輥係以相同轉速旋轉,因此將該聚胺基甲酸酯纖維跨過該張力計拉伸至50%之延長。該張力計當該彈性纖維饋送通過該等輥時測量其張力。該張力之標準偏差除以平均張力可得變異係數(記作CDV),因為丹尼係與張力成正比。CDV與所使用之線性密度單位無關(丹尼相對於德士(decitex)),且低CDV表示高纖維均勻性。
該封端二醇之異氰酸酯部份總含量(重量百分比NCO)係藉由S. Siggia之方法測定,「Quantitative Organic Analysis via Functional Group」,第三版,Wiley & Sons,New York,第559-561頁(1963)。
該彈性纖維之強度及彈性特性係根據ASTM D2731-72之常規方法測量。每次測量使用三條細絲、2英寸(5 cm)標距及0至300%延長循環。利用Instron張力檢測器以50 cm/分鐘之恆定延長速率使該等樣品循環5次。在第一次循環延伸率為200%時測量承載能力(「LP」)(最初延伸期間該彈性纖維上之應力)。在第五次卸載循環延伸率為200%時測量卸載能力(「UP」)。在第六次延伸時測量斷裂延長百分率(「%ELO」)及斷裂強度(「TEN」)。斷裂強度、承載能力及卸載能力係以百分之一牛頓(CN)記。再測量經五次0-300%延長/鬆弛循環之樣品的變形百分率。該變形百分率(「%S」)係以%S=100(Lf

計算得到,其中Lo
及Lf
分別係該細絲(紗線)在該等五次延長/鬆弛循環之前及之後無張力自然伸直時之長度。
該聚胺基甲酸酯脲之固有黏度(「IV」)係根據ASTM D2515藉由在25℃下於標準Cannon-Fenske黏度計管中將含於DMAc中之該聚合物稀釋溶液之黏度與DMAc本身黏度相比較(「相對黏度」方法)而測得並以dl/g記。
「meq/kg」係指每千克總成份(即聚合物固體)中指定成份之毫當量。

Claims (14)
- 一種包含至少一含聚胺基甲酸酯脲之彈性纖維之製品,其中聚胺基甲酸酯脲係下述物質之反應產物:(a)包含下述物質之反應產物之封端二醇(i)選自由聚醚多元醇、聚酯多元醇、聚碳酸酯多元醇及其組合組成之群之多元醇;及(ii)二異氰酸酯;(b)包含至少第一二胺及第二二胺之鏈延伸劑;及(c)由單官能性胺所組成之鏈終止劑組合物,該單官能性胺包括環己胺;其中該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含約75:25至約85:15之該第一二胺對該第二二胺之比;及約10meq/Kg至約30meq/Kg之環己基脲末端。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該鏈終止劑包含二乙胺且該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含約10meq/Kg至約60meq/Kg之二乙基脲末端。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含約12meq/Kg至約24meq/Kg之一級胺末端。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含黏度穩定劑。
- 如請求項4之製品,其中該黏度穩定劑係以約50ppm至約250ppm含量存在。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該第一二胺包括乙二胺且該第二二胺包括2-甲基-1,5-戊二胺(MPMD)。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該多元醇之數量平均分子量為1600至約2200。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該封端二醇具有約2.3至約3.0之%NCO。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該封端二醇具有約2.5至約2.7之%NCO。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該多元醇包括聚四亞甲基醚二醇。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該二異氰酸酯包括二苯甲烷二異氰酸酯(MDI)。
- 如請求項1之製品,其中該製品係針織品。
- 如請求項12之製品,其中該針織品係選自經編針織物及圓編針織物。
- 一種製造彈性纖維之方法,其包括:(a)提供選自由聚醚多元醇、聚酯多元醇、聚碳酸酯多元醇及其組合組成之群之多元醇;(b)提供二異氰酸酯;(c)使該多元醇與二異氰酸酯接觸以形成封端二醇;(d)提供包含至少第一二胺及第二二胺之鏈延伸劑;(e)提供由單官能性胺所組成之鏈終止劑組合物,該單官能性胺包括環己胺;(f)使該封端二醇、該鏈延伸劑及該鏈終止劑組合物於溶劑中接觸以形成聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液;及(g)將該聚胺基甲酸酯脲溶液紡紗以形成彈性纖維, 其中該聚胺基甲酸酯脲包含約75:25至約85:15之第一二胺對第二二胺之比;及約10meq/Kg至約30meq/Kg之環己基脲末端。
