Description
本發明是有關於一種立體工件,且特別是有關於一種應用複合材料(composite material)的立體工件。
受惠於半導體元件與顯示技術的進步,電子產品不斷朝向小型化、多功能化且攜帶方便的方向發展,常見的可攜式電子產品包括筆記型電腦(notebook computer)、平板電腦(tablet computer)及行動電話(mobile phone)等。
為了減輕可攜式電子產品的機殼重量及提高機殼的結構強度,採用了複合材料來製作機殼。目前採用複合材料的機殼包含兩金屬板及一夾層(core layer),其中夾層位於兩金屬板之間,並分別與兩金屬板結合。
為了減少機殼的重量,夾層具有多個開口,而這些開口佈滿夾層的整面。然而,在立體成型後的機殼會因為夾層在機殼彎曲處的這些開口而產生外觀上不平滑的缺陷。
本發明關於一種立體工件,用以保持其彎曲處在外觀上的平滑度。
本發明提出一種立體工件,其包括一第一具延展性板材、一第二具延展性板材及一夾層。夾層位於第一具延展性板材與第二具延展性板材之間。第一具延展性板材、第二具延展性板材及夾層結合在一起並具有立體形狀。第一具延展性板材具有一平坦區及一彎曲區。夾層具有一夾層平坦區及一夾層彎曲區。夾層平坦區重疊於板材平坦區,且夾層彎曲區重疊於板材彎曲區。
基於上述,本發明藉由在夾層之夾層平坦區上形成開口來減少立體工件的重量,並藉由夾層之夾層彎曲區來確保第一具延展性板材呈現出平滑的外觀。
為讓本發明之上述特徵和優點能更明顯易懂,下文特舉實施例,並配合所附圖式作詳細說明如下。
圖1為本發明之一實施例的一種立體工件在立體成型前的分解圖。請參考圖1,本實施例之立體工件100包括一第一具延展性板材110、一第二具延展性板材120及一夾層130。夾層130位於第一具延展性板材110與第二具延展性板材120之間。第一具延展性板材110、第二具延展性板材120及夾層130結合在一起而形成類似三明治狀的結構。在本實施例中,第一具延展性板材110可經由一膠層142與夾層130相互黏合,而第二具延展性板材120可經由另一膠層144與夾層130相互黏合。
在本實施例中,第一具延展性板材110與第二具延展性板材120可為金屬板(metal plate)、包含金屬的延性材料、或是預浸纖維片。預浸纖維片的材質可為植物纖維、玻璃纖維、或是碳纖維。當第一具延展性板材110及第二具延展性板材120為金屬板時,則金屬板為不鏽鋼板(SUS plate)、鋁板(Aluminum plate)或鍍錫鋼板(SPTE)。此外,夾層130可為膜層(mylar/film)、纖維編織層(fabric)或預浸纖維片(prepreg),其中膜層可為塑膠膜層,而纖維編織層或預浸纖維片的材質可為植物纖維、玻璃纖維、或是碳纖維。
隨著產品設計之不同,夾層130可為多層材料層或是單層材料層所形成的夾層。此外,為了配合產品的外觀或是強度的要求,夾層130可為一均勻厚度夾層或是一不均勻厚度的夾層。第一具延展性板材110及第二具延展性板材120同樣可為均勻厚度或是不均勻厚度的具延展性板材。當所採用的夾層130為預浸纖維片時,則第一具延展性板材110與第二具延展性板材120可直接藉由預浸纖維片上的預浸液體與預浸纖維片結合而不需要透過膠層。
圖2A為圖1之立體工件在立體成型前的局部剖面立體圖,且圖2B為圖2A之立體工件在立體成型前的局部剖面分解圖。請參考圖2A及圖2B,第一具延展性板材110及第二具延展性板材120均具有一板材平坦區112及一板材彎曲區114,而板材彎曲區114將於立體成型(three-dimensionally shaped)時(如圖2A至圖3A)受到彎曲。此外,夾層130具有一夾層平坦區132及一夾層彎曲區134。為了減輕立體工件成型後的重量,夾層130的夾層平坦區132通常具有多數個開口136,且這些開口呈現蜂巢狀排列。夾層130的夾層平坦區132重疊於第一具延展性板材110的板材平坦區112,而夾層彎曲區134重疊於板材彎曲區114。在本實施例中,夾層130之夾層彎曲區134可為一實體區而不包含任何開口。
圖3A為圖2A之立體工件於立體成型後的局部剖面立體圖,且圖3B為圖3A之立體工件在立體成型後的局部剖面分解圖。請參考圖3A及圖3B,當第一具延展性板材110、第二具延展性板材120及夾層130結合在一起並受力成為立體工件100時,第一具延展性板材110、第二具延展性板材120及夾層130之夾層彎曲區134會發生彎曲的形變並維持第一具延展性板材110之一平滑表面,即維持第一具延展性板材110之外觀平滑。
當第一具延展性板材110、第二具延展性板材120及夾層130已立體成型時,夾層平坦區132重疊於板材平坦區112,並藉由在夾層平坦區132上形成這些開口136來減少夾層130的重量。此外,夾層彎曲區134重疊於板材彎曲區114,並藉由夾層彎曲區134的設計來確保第一具延展性板材110的板材彎曲區114呈現出平滑的外觀,特別是稜線的部位。
在本實施例中,依照實際需求,當板材彎曲區114圍繞板材平坦區112時,夾層彎曲區134可對應圍繞夾層平坦區132。隨著產品設計之不同,夾層彎曲區134於彎曲後形成一彎角(半徑為R),而夾層130在夾層彎曲區134的寬度w(見圖2B)通常會大於此彎角所對應的圓周長(即2πR),以確保彎曲後的工件維持表面平滑的樣態。
圖4為本發明之另一實施例的夾層的立體圖。請參考圖4,夾層130a類似於圖1之夾層130,但夾層130a除了具有在夾層平坦區132的開口136以外,還更具有在夾層彎曲區134的多個開口138。換言之,夾層130a具有多個開口136及138,這些開口的一部分(即這些開口136)分佈於夾層平坦區132,且這些開口的另一部分(即這些開口138)分佈於夾層彎曲區134。
在本實施例中,夾層130a上之夾層彎曲區134的開口率小於夾層平坦區132的開口率,以使彎曲後的板材彎曲區(如圖3A或圖3B之標號114)具有平滑的外觀。然而,隨著產品設計之不同,夾層130a之夾層平坦區132上之開口的分佈密度可大於或小於夾層彎曲區134上之開口的分佈密度,且夾層平坦區132上之開口的孔徑尺寸可大於或小於夾層彎曲區134上之開口的孔徑尺寸。
圖5為本發明之又一實施例的夾層分為兩獨立構件的分解圖。請參考圖5,除了圖1之夾層130為單一構件以外,本實施例之夾層230包括兩個結構各自獨立的構件230a及230b,這些構件230a及230b在結構上各自獨立,且這些構件230a及230b分別構成夾層平坦區232及夾層彎曲區234。在本實施例中,依照實際需求,夾層彎曲區234可圍繞夾層平坦區232。隨著產品設計之不同,構件230b可包含夾層彎曲區234及部分夾層平坦區232,但是這並不限制本發明之範圍。
綜上所述,本發明能藉由在夾層之夾層平坦區上形成開口來減少立體工件的重量,並能藉由夾層之夾層彎曲區的開口率小於夾層平坦區的開口率來確保第一具延展性板材呈現出平滑的外觀。

Claims (19)
- 一種立體工件,包括:一第一具延展性板材;一第二具延展性板材;以及一夾層,位於該第一具延展性板材與該第二具延展性板材之間且具有一夾層平坦區及一夾層彎曲區,其中該夾層具有多個開口,該夾層彎曲區的開口率小於該夾層平坦區的開口率,且當該第一具延展性板材、該第二具延展性板材及該夾層結合在一起並受力成為該立體工件時,該第一具延展性板材、該第二具延展性板材、及該夾層之該夾層彎曲區會發生彎曲的形變並維持該第一具延展性板材之一平滑表面。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之立體工件,其中該第一具延展性板材具有一板材平坦區與一板材彎曲區,其中該板材平坦區重疊於該夾層平坦區且該板材彎曲區重疊於該夾層彎曲區。
