Abstract

This invention is a miniaturized green laser device. It comprises: a heat sink base; a diode laser chip with wavelength 808 nm; an optical sensing diode; a lid; a laser exciting chip installed at the front end of the diode laser chip for converting the incident light from the diode laser chip with wavelength 808 nm to an infrared light with wavelength 1064 nm; a non-linear optical chip installed at the front end of the laser exciting chip for converting infrared light at 1064 nm wavelength to green light at 532 nm; a fast axis collimating optics lens installed between the laser exciting chip and the diode laser chip to increase optical resonance efficiency by focusing the output light from the diode laser chip onto an incident plane of the laser exciting chip; and an optical filter. This design solves such problems of a typical DPSSL green laser device as large size, heavy weight, high cost, and cumbersome process with effect of miniaturizztion.
