Description
本發明係與圖案形成用油墨組成物有關,進一步而言,本發明係一種圖案形成用油墨組成物、具有該油墨組成物所形成圖案的導光板、具有該導光板的發光單元及具有該發光單元的液晶顯示元件。
廣泛被用作為個人電腦、電視、可攜式電話等設備之顯示裝置具有液晶顯示元件,由於該液晶顯示元件的液晶面板本身並非自發光體,因此必須設置被稱為背光(backlight)模組之面光源,利用該背光模組發出的光線照射該液晶面板達成影像顯示。近幾年來,為應用於輕量化及小型化的筆記型電腦等之薄型液晶顯示器,多採用於導光板一端配置光源,並經由全反射將該光源所發出的光線傳至遠端而形成面光源的側光型(side light)背光模組,而不使用於光源前方設置反射板的直下型背光模組。
上述側光型背光模組中,利用分佈於導光板底面的印刷圖案,破壞光線的全反射,使光線在該導光板內部產生不規則的散射及反射,據此導引光線通過該導光板正面的出光面射出。日本特開2008-095103號專利案揭露一種圖案形成用油墨,該油墨包含丙烯酸系樹脂的高分子樹脂、六亞甲基二異氰酸酯的架橋劑及填充材。然而,該油墨於形成圖案時容易產生黃變現象之問題。
本發明之第一目的,在於提供一種耐黃變性佳之圖案形成用油墨組成物。該圖案形成用油墨組成物包含具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)、含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)及光起始劑(C)。
本發明之第二目的,在於提供一種導光板,其包含一入光面、一出光面及一底面,其中,該入光面供入射光線射入該導光板內部,該出光面供光線射出,該底面與該出光面相對,且該底面具有可使前記入射光線產生散射與反射之反射圖案;該反射圖案係由上述圖案形成用油墨組成物所形成。
本發明之第三目的,在於提供一種發光單元,其包含一發光源及一如前所述的導光板,其中,該導光板與該發光源結合,由該發光源投射光線進入該導光板,該導光板底面具有使前記光線產生散射與反射之反射圖案。
本發明之第四目的,在於提供一種液晶顯示元件,其包含一如前所述的發光單元及一液晶面板,其中,該液晶面板設置於該發光單元之導光板的出光面上方,且利用通過該出光面射出的光線顯示影像。
以下逐一對本發明各組成做詳細的說明。圖式為求清晰起見,可能會有部份尺寸出現誇大顯示之情,圖式所顯示的尺寸或比例,不能作為解釋或限制本發明的依據。
本發明中,以(甲基)丙烯酸表示丙烯酸及/或甲基丙烯酸,同樣地,以(甲基)丙烯酸酯表示丙烯酸酯及/或甲基丙

本發明之具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)包含具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)。

本發明之具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)可以各種公知的混合機或分散機將具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)及其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)均勻混合,並基於該丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)及該乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)為基礎,添加0.01%~3重量%之聚合起始劑於常溫下聚合而得,並可視需要使用有機溶劑。
上述聚合起始劑之具體例如:過氧化苯甲醯等之過氧化物、偶氮二異丁腈[2,2’-azobis(isobutyronitrile);簡稱AIBN]、偶氮二異戊腈[2,2’-azobis(methyl-
butyronitrile);簡稱AMBN]等之偶氮化合物等。
上述有機溶劑之具體例如:乙二醇單丙基醚、二乙二醇二甲基醚、四氫呋暔、乙二醇單甲基醚、乙二醇單乙基醚、乙酸甲氧基乙酯(methyl cellosolve acetate)、二乙二醇單甲基醚、二乙二醇單乙基醚、二乙二醇單丁基醚、丙二醇單甲基醚醋酸酯、丙二醇單乙基醚醋酸酯、丙二醇單丙基醚醋酸酯、3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯(ethyl 3-ethoxy propionate)、甲乙酮及丙酮等,其中以二乙二醇二甲基醚、丙二醇單甲基醚醋酸酯、3-乙氧基丙酸乙酯為較佳。上述之有機溶劑可單獨一種使用或者混合複數種使用。
具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)與其他可共聚合之乙烯性不飽和單體(a-2)混合時,基於單體(a-1)與單體(a-2)合計100重量份,(a-1)之使用量通常為10~45重量份,較佳為15~40重量份,更佳為20~35重量份。
當具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)之使用量介於10~45重量份,聚合而得之具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)的均勻性佳,且油墨組成物於形成圖案時不易有黃變現象之問題。
本發明之含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)可以是具有1個乙烯性不飽和基的化合物,或是2個以上(含2個)乙烯性不飽和基的化合物。

基於具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)100重量份,含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)的使用量,通常為5~200重量份,較佳為10~150重量份,更佳為20~120重量份。
本發明之光起始劑(C)係選自於由肟(oxime)系化合物(C-1)、苯乙酮系化合物(C-2)及其他光起始劑(C-3)所組成的群組。
上述肟系化合物(C-1)之具體例如:乙烷酮,1-[9-乙基-6-(2-甲基苯甲醯基)9氫-咔唑-3-取代基]-,1-(氧-乙醯肟)(Ethanone,1-[9-ethyl-6-(2-methylbezoyl)9H-carbozole-3-yl]-1-(O-acetyl oxime))(如Ciba Specialty Chemicals製的OXE02)、乙烷酮,1-[9-乙基-6-(2-氯-4-苯磺基苯甲醯基)9氫-咔唑-3-取代基]-,1-(氧-乙醯肟)(Ethanone,1-[9-ethyl-6-(2-chloro-4-benzylsulfonyl benzoyl)9H-carbozole-3-yl]-1-(O-acetyl oxime))(旭電化公司製)、1-(4-苯基-硫代苯基)-丁烷-1,2-二酮2-肟-氧-苯甲酸脂、1-(4-苯基-硫代苯基)-辛烷-1,2-二酮2-肟-氧-苯甲酸酯(如Ciba Specialty Chemicals製的OXE01)、1-(4-苯基-硫代苯基)-辛烷-1-酮 肟-氧-醋酸酯、1-(4-苯基-硫代苯基)-丁烷-1-酮 肟-氧-醋酸酯等。
上述苯乙酮系化合物(C-2)之具體例如:對-二甲胺苯乙酮、α,α’-二甲氧基偶氮苯乙酮、2,2’-二甲基-2-苯乙酮、對-甲氧基苯乙酮、2-甲基-1-(4-甲基硫代苯基)-2-瑪啉代-1-丙酮(2-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-morpholino-1-propanone)、2-苄基-2-N,N-二甲胺-1-(4-瑪啉代苯基)-1-丁酮(2-benzyl-2-N,N-dimethylamino-1-(4-morpholinophenyl)-1-butanone)等。

上述光起始劑(C)可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。基於含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)100重量份,光起始劑(C)的使用量通常為2~120重量份,較佳為5~70重量份,更佳
為10~60重量份。
本發明之圖案形成用油墨組成物,選擇性地,可進一步添加添加劑(D),如:矽烷偶合劑、填充材、消泡劑等。
本發明之矽烷偶合劑之具體例如:乙烯基三氯矽烷、乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷、乙烯基三(β-甲氧基-乙氧基)矽烷、β-(3,4-環氧環己基)乙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基甲基二乙氧基矽烷、γ-(甲基)丙烯醯氧丙基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲基二甲氧基矽烷、N-苯基-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-硫醇基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、雙-1,2-(三甲氧基矽基)乙烷及SH6062、SZ6030(Toray Dow Corning Silicone製)、KBE-903、KBE-603、KBE-403(信越化學製)等市販品。
基於具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)100重量份,矽烷偶合劑之使用量通常為0~30重量份,較佳為3~25重量份,更佳為5~20重量份。
本發明之填充材係為有機填充材及/或無機填充材。有機填充材的具體例為:環氧樹脂、三聚氰胺樹脂、尿素樹脂、丙烯酸樹脂、酚醛樹脂、聚醯亞胺樹脂、聚醯胺樹脂、聚酯樹脂、鐵氟龍(teflon)樹脂等。無機填充材的具體例為:氧化鋁、氧氫化鋁、二氧化矽、氧化鎂、氫氧化鎂、氧化鐵、二氧化鈦、氧化鋅、氧化錫、氮化矽、氮化鋁、
滑石、雲母、石綿粉、石英粉、高嶺土、膨潤土(bentonite)、矽藻土、沸石、石膏、玻璃珠、玻璃纖維、硫酸鋇、硫酸鎂、碳酸鈣、碳酸鎂、矽酸鈣、矽酸鋁、矽酸鋯、鈦酸鉀、富勒烯(fullerene)等。上述填充材可單獨一種或混合複數種使用。
本發明所使用之填充材,其平均粒徑並無特別的限制,通常為10μm以下,較佳為5μm以下,更佳為3μm以下。基於具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)100重量份,填充材的添加量通常為2~70重量份,較佳為5~60重量份,更佳為10~50重量份。
本發明之消泡劑,其具體例如:Surfynol MD-20、Surfynol MD-30、EnviroGem AD01、EnviroGem AE01、EnviroGem AE02、Surfynol DF 110D、Surfynol 104E、Surfynol 420、Surfynol DF 37、Surfynol DF 58、Surfynol DF 66、Surfynol DF 70、Surfynol DF 210(Air products製)等市販品。基於具環狀結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)100重量份,消泡劑之使用量通常為1~10重量份,較佳為2~9重量份,更佳為3~8重量份。
本發明可以各種公知的混合機或分散機將上述成份(A)至(C)及視需要添加的矽烷偶合劑、填充材、消泡劑等添加劑(D)均勻混合,進而得到本發明之圖案形成用油墨組成物。
將上述圖案形成用油墨組成物以噴墨(inkjet)、網印
(screen printing)或轉印(imprint)等印刷方式印刷於導光板上,經乾燥後形成反射圖案。
圖一係例示本發明發光單元的側面分解示意圖;如圖一所示,本發明之導光板(41)包含一入光面(412)、一出光面(414)以及一相對於該出光面(414)之底面(416),其中,該入光面(412)形成於該導光板(41)的一側,且該底面(416)與該入光面(412)形成斜角鄰接,因此,該導光板(41)由該入光面(412)的一端向相對的另一端形成厚度遞減,據使光線均一的由該出光面(414)射出。
該導光板(41)於該底面(416)形成如上所述的反射圖案(41a),該反射圖案(41a)並沒有排列或尺寸大小上之限制,該反射圖案(41a)可使通過該入光面(412)射入該導光板(41)的光線產生散射與反射,亦即均勻地將光線擴散至各種方向。該反射圖案(41a)於印刷時,可選擇形成圓形、四角形或六角形等各種不同的形狀,而該反射圖案(41a)之光散射程度及亮度隨著油墨中所使用之材質的不同而改變。
如圖一所示,本發明之發光單元(4)包含一發光源(40)及一如上所述的導光板(41),其中,該導光板(41)與該發光源(40)側向結合,且該入光面(412)與該發光源(40)相對,據使該發光源(40)投射光線通過該入光面(412)進入該導光板(41),並藉該導光板(41)將該發光源(40)所提供的光線導引向液晶面板(1)投射;該發光源(40)包含一光源
(40a)及一燈管反射罩(40b),其中,該光源(40a)可為點光源形態的發光二極體或線光源形態的燈管,該燈管反射罩(40b)於鄰向該導光板(41)的單一方向形成開口,該燈管反射罩(40b)的其餘部份則包住該光源(40a),據使該光源(40a)發出的光線直接或藉該燈管反射罩(40b)反射,通過該燈管反射罩(40b)的開口向該導光板(41)投射。
該發光單元(4)更進一步包含一光學組(42),該光學組(42)包含一反射片(42a)、一擴散片(42b)及一稜鏡片(42c)等光學元件,其中,該反射片(42a)與該導光板(41)的底面(416)相鄰,藉此將通過該底面(416)射出該導光板(41)的光線反射通過該底面(416)回入該導光板(41),該擴散片(42b)與該導光板(41)的出光面(414)相鄰,據使通過該出光面(414)射出該導光板(41)的光線均勻擴散,該稜鏡片(42c)與該擴散片(42b)相鄰,藉以凝集光線,提高光線向該液晶面板(1)投射的正面亮度。
圖二係例示本發明之液晶顯示元件的分解立體圖。如圖二所示,本發明之液晶顯示元件包含一液晶面板(1)及一如上所述的發光單元(4),其中,該液晶面板(1)可顯示外部影像,其包含一薄膜電晶體(TFT)基板(10)(後稱TFT基板)、一彩色濾光片(CF)基板(11)及一含有液晶的液晶層(圖中未示)。
包含驅動晶片的印刷電路板(12)透過捲帶承載封裝件(13)(Tape Carrier Package)連接至該TFT基板(10),而
顯示影像所需要的各種訊號則可藉由印刷電路板(12)及驅動晶片(圖中未示)傳遞至該TFT基板(10)。
該液晶顯示元件進一步包含一頂部底盤(2)及一底部底盤(3),其中,該底部底盤(3)上部形成一開敞的收納空間,該底部底盤(3)於該收納空間周圍的部份支撐該液晶面板(1),並連接該頂部底盤(2),該頂部底盤(2)則覆蓋並固定該液晶面板(1)的周圍部份,以防止該印刷電路板(12)曝露於外界,該頂部底盤(2)中間形成開口,以藉由該開口曝露該液晶面板(1)之影像顯示區域,該底部底盤(3)之收納空間容設一如前所述的發光單元(4),藉由該發光單元(4)提供光線,並使光線通過該液晶面板(1),俾供顯示外部影像。
圖一及圖二係作為說明之用,且本發明並非限定於此。因此,本發明之發光單元亦能夠應用到其他類型的顯示設備;本發明之液晶顯示元件亦能夠使用其他類型的光學元件,例如:偏光片等。
本發明將就以下實施例來作進一步說明,但應瞭解的是,該等實施例僅為例示說明之用,而不應被解釋為本發明實施之限制。
將30重量份的丙烯酸四氫呋喃酯、25重量份的甲基丙烯酸甲酯、44重量份的丙烯酸正丁酯及1重量份的偶氮二
異戊腈,以遊星式攪拌裝置(型號為ARB-310;THINKY製)攪拌均勻,並於80℃下進行熱聚合反應,反應24小時後,可得具環狀結構之丙烯酸系樹脂(A-1)。
相同於合成例1的操作方法,不同的地方在於:改變單體的種類及其使用量,分別獲得具環狀結構之丙烯酸系樹脂(A-2)~(A-5),其配方如表1所示。
將25重量份的甲基丙烯酸甲酯、44重量份的丙烯酸正丁酯、30重量份的甲基丙烯酸2-羥基乙酯及1重量份的偶氮二異戊腈,以遊星式攪拌裝置攪拌均勻,並於80℃下進行熱聚合反應,反應24小時後,可得丙烯酸系樹脂(PA-1)。
將25重量份的甲基丙烯酸甲酯、44重量份的丙烯酸正丁酯、30重量份的甲基丙烯酸環氧丙基酯及1重量份的偶氮二異戊腈,以遊星式攪拌裝置攪拌均勻,並於80℃下進行熱聚合反應,反應24小時後,可得丙烯酸系樹脂(PA-2)。
將25重量份的甲基丙烯酸甲酯、44重量份的丙烯酸正丁酯及1重量份的偶氮二異戊腈,以遊星式攪拌裝置攪拌均勻,並於80℃下進行熱聚合反應,反應24小時後,可得丙烯酸系樹脂(PA-3)。
將100重量份由合成例1所得的具環狀結構之丙烯酸
系樹脂(A-1)、80重量份的1,6-己二醇二丙烯酸酯(B-1)以及8重量份的光起始劑(C-1)(1-羥基環己基苯甲酮,IRGACURE 184,Ciba Specialty Chemicals製),以遊星式攪拌裝置攪拌均勻後,再以三滾筒機(型號為FC-90mm;繁錩製)混練3小時,即可製得圖案形成用油墨組成物。以下記之評價項目進行評價,所得結果如表2所示。
相同於實施例1的操作方法,不同的地方在於:改變原料的種類及其使用量,其配方及評價結果如表2所示。
同實施例1的操作方法,不同之處係使用樹脂(PA-1)代替樹脂(A-1)。該圖案形成用油墨組成物以下記評價項目進行評價,所得結果如表2所示。
同實施例1的操作方法,不同之處係使用樹脂(PA-2)代替樹脂(A-1)。該圖案形成用油墨組成物以下記評價項目進行評價,所得結果如表2所示。
同實施例1的操作方法,不同之處係使用樹脂(PA-3)代替樹脂(A-1),並於含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B)中,額外增加20重量份的丙烯酸四氫呋喃酯。該圖案形成用油墨組成物以下記評價項目進行評價,所得結果如表2所示。
將圖案形成用油墨組成物以濕膜塗佈器(型號為ZFR 2040;ZEHNTNER製),於一100mm×100mm之玻璃基板上塗佈形成膜厚為30μm的塗膜,經紫外光(曝光機型號為AG500-4N;M&R Nano Technology製)850mJ/cm2
照射後,置於50℃及相對濕度80%之高溫高濕爐中500小時進行可靠度測試,接著使用色度機(型號為MC-3100;大塚電子製)測量其可靠度測試前後之色差值(△E),並以下列基準進行評價。

惟以上所述者,僅為本發明之較佳實施例而已,當不能以此限定本發明實施之範圍,即大凡依本發明申請專利範圍及發明說明書內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆應仍屬本發明專利涵蓋之範圍內。

Claims (8)
- 一種圖案形成用油墨組成物,其包含:具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A);含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B);光起始劑(C);以及添加劑(D);其中,該添加劑(D)包含矽烷偶合劑,該具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)係由具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)以及可共聚合之乙烯性不飽合單體(a-2)共聚合而得,且該具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)為具四員環、五員環、六員環、七員環或八員環之丙烯酸酯系單體,以及基於該具環狀醚基結構的丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)與該可共聚合的乙烯性不飽合單體(a-2)合計100重量份,該具環狀醚基結構的丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)的使用量為10~45重量份。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之圖案形成用油墨組成物,其中,該矽烷偶合劑包含乙烯基三氯矽烷、乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷、乙烯基三(β-甲氧基-乙氧基)矽烷、β-(3,4-環氧環己基)乙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基甲基二乙氧基矽烷、γ-(甲基)丙烯醯氧丙基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲基二甲氧基矽烷、N-苯基-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-硫醇基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氨 丙基三甲氧基矽烷、雙-1,2-(三甲氧基矽基)乙烷。
- 一種導光板,包含一入光面、一出光面及一底面,其中,該底面與該出光面相對,且該底面形成反射圖案,據使通過該入光面進入該導光板內部的光線產生散射與反射;該反射圖案係由油墨組成物所形成,該油墨組成物包含:具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A);含乙烯性不飽和基之化合物(B);光起始劑(C);以及添加劑(D);其中,該添加劑(D)包含矽烷偶合劑,該具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系樹脂(A)係由具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)以及可共聚合之乙烯性不飽合單體(a-2)共聚合而得,且該具環狀醚基結構之丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)為具四員環、五員環、六員環、七員環或八員環之丙烯酸酯系單體,以及基於該具環狀醚基結構的丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)與該可共聚合的乙烯性不飽合單體(a-2)合計100重量份,該具環狀醚基結構的丙烯酸酯系單體(a-1)的使用量為10~45重量份。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之導光板,其中,該矽烷偶合劑包含乙烯基三氯矽烷、乙烯基三乙氧基矽烷、乙烯基三(β-甲氧基-乙氧基)矽烷、β-(3,4-環氧環己基)乙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-環氧丙氧丙基甲基二乙氧基矽烷、γ-(甲基)丙烯醯氧丙 基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、N-(β-氨乙基)-γ-氨丙基三甲基二甲氧基矽烷、N-苯基-γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-硫醇基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、γ-氨丙基三甲氧基矽烷、雙-1,2-(三甲氧基矽基)乙烷。
