Description
本申請案主張西元2007年9月11日提出申請之美國專利申請案序號第60/971,305號的優先權,其內容係引述於此以供參考。
用來施加諸如快速固化泡沫之類複數成分材料的噴槍係已為人知,一般可以取得的有機械驅送(mechanical purge)及空氣驅送(air purge)二種類型。先前已知之機械驅送式槍中用以驅送二種成分材料的裝置,是透過一根可滑動穿過混合用孔的機械驅送桿(purge rod)來為之。此種配置方式的問題在於驅送桿會因噴灑之材料的堆積而黏附於該孔內。
在空氣驅送槍內,習用之用來驅送二種成分材料的裝置是透過高壓空氣驅送動作(吹氣通過混合腔室)而為之。此種設計會造成混合腔室內之內部通道及噴灑頭內的材料堆積,導致噴灑圖案的劣化,需要操作者來清理混合腔室,以回復其功能。
本發明的目的是要防止混合的二成分聚胺甲酸酯在噴霧施加器的內部通道內固化,使得使用者能在噴灑圖案變形發生之前或是需要對槍做維修作業之前,做更長時間的
噴灑作業。
機械驅送槍係透過內部泵送機構來配送溶劑。驅送桿包含有一小直徑桿及一大直徑桿。當驅送桿被往回拉通過混合腔室時,較小桿部位會取代較大桿,因之而產生真空,以將溶劑吸入。當該桿向前移而關閉該槍時,溶劑會在內泵之壓力的作用下沿著驅送桿的表面被排放至混合腔室內,自該處其即可與混合的二成分材料自該槍內被驅送出去。該溶劑可以是內含於施加器內,或是由管線自外部連接至該槍內。
空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過內配量泵來自動地配送溶劑。被配送出來的溶劑會與驅送空氣混合,並由該槍經由混合腔室孔口排放出去。另一種情形,空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過內泵送機構來自動地配送溶劑。被配送出來的溶劑會與驅送空氣混合,並由該槍經由混合腔室孔口排放出去。在另一種實施例中,空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過文氏效應來自動地配送溶劑。溶劑會被注入至空氣流內,並經由混合腔室孔口自施加器排放出去。該溶劑可以是內含於施加器內,或是由管線自外部連接至該槍內。
本發明的這些及其他目的及優點,將可自下面的說明,並配合於所附圖式,而更完整地呈現,而在所有的圖式中,相同參考編號代表相同或類似的零件。
第1圖中的機械驅送式槍10係透過內部泵送機構來
配送溶劑。驅送桿12包含有一小直徑桿14及一大直徑桿16。當驅送桿12被往回拉通過混合腔室18時,較小桿14的這一部份會取代較大桿16,因之而產生真空,以將溶劑自溶劑入口20吸入。當桿12向前移而關閉槍10時,溶劑會在內泵之壓力的作用下沿著驅送桿12的表面被排放至混合腔室18內,自該處其即可與混合的二成分材料自槍10內被驅送出去。該溶劑可以是內含於施加器內,或是由管線自外部連接至該槍內。
在第2圖及第3圖的較佳實施例中,一溶劑活塞22會在第一(非噴灑,第2圖)位置及第二(噴灑,第3圖)位置間移動。在第一位置上時,施加至溶劑活塞22之後面22a上的高壓空氣會關閉掉環繞著溶劑活塞22的溶劑孔24,防止溶劑流入至混合腔室26內。在第二位置上時,高壓空氣是施加至溶劑活塞22的前面22b上,使其稍微地後退,因此露出溶劑孔24,關閉溶劑入口28,並讓一團的(a slug of)溶劑與驅送空氣32混合,再由溶劑出口30通過而進入至混合腔室26內。
在第4圖的另一種實施例中,空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過內配量泵40來自動地配送溶劑。被配送出來的溶劑會與驅送空氣42混合,並由該槍經由混合腔室孔口44排放出去。
在第5圖的另一種情形中,空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過內泵送機構50來自動地配送溶劑。被配送出來的溶劑會與驅送空氣52混合,並由該槍經由混合腔室孔口54
排放出去。
在第6圖的另一種實施例中,空氣驅送槍在非擊發時會透過文氏效應60來自動地配送溶劑。溶劑會被注入至空氣流62內,並經由混合腔室孔口64自施加器排放出去。該溶劑可以是內含於施加器內,或是由管線自外部連接至該槍內。
可以瞭解到,在不脫離下文申請專利範圍所界定的本發明範疇與精神下,此溶劑驅送機構仍可做多種的變化及改變。

Claims (1)
- 一種空氣驅送複數成分噴槍,具有混合腔室及驅送空氣通道,其選擇性地將加壓空氣連接至該混合腔室,其改良包含:溶劑源;以及溶劑活塞,具有前面及後面,可在第一非噴灑位置及第二噴灑位置間移動,使得在該第一位置上時,高壓空氣會施加至該溶劑活塞的該後面,以關閉連接於該溶劑源的溶劑孔,防止溶劑流入該混合腔室內,而在該第二位置上時,高壓空氣會在不擊發該槍的情況下施加至該前面上,使該溶劑活塞後退而露出該溶劑孔,關閉溶劑入口,並讓一團溶劑在該驅送空氣通道內與驅送空氣混合,並自溶劑出口通過該驅送空氣通道而進入至該混合腔室內。
