Description
本發明係有關無線通信領域。更特別是,本發明係有關處理如分頻雙工(FDD)或分時雙工(TDD)之多胞元無線通信系統中之資料區塊。
改善上鏈涵蓋,產出及傳輸延遲之方法目前被檢視於發行6(R6)通用行動電信系統(UMTS)研究項目"分頻雙工上鏈加強"脈絡中之第三代夥伴計劃(3GPP)中。
為了達成這些目標,廣泛預期節點B(基地台)將承擔排程及分配上鏈資源(實際頻道)至使用者之責任。該原理係即使無線網路控制器保持粗略控制,節點B亦可以短期基礎較無線網路控制器做更有效決定及管理上鏈無線資源。類似方法已於通用行動電信系統分頻雙工(FDD)及分時雙工(TDD)模式中之發行5(R5)高速下鏈封包存取(HSDPA)中被採用。
亦設想若干獨立上鏈被處理於之共用時間區段內之無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)及通用陸上存取網路(UTRAN)之間。此之一例為媒體存取控制(MAC)層混合自動重複要求(HARQ)或僅媒體存取控制層自動重複要求(ARQ)操作,其中各傳輸可能需不同傳輸數被通用陸上存取網路成功接收。為了限制對系統架構之影響,係預期媒體存取控制上之協定層不應被加強上鏈專用頻道(EU-DCH)之引進所影響。被此引進之一需求係為傳遞至無線鏈路控制(RLC)協定層之佇列中資料。因此,類似下鏈中之高速下鏈封包存取操作,係需通用陸上存取網路再排序功能依據無線傳輸/接收單元無線鏈路控制實體所產生之佇列來組織被接收資料塊。
軟交接巨觀分集操作係需集中控制主動組內各胞元中之上鏈傳輸。主動組可能包含複數節點B。再傳輸係被產生直到至少一節點B實現成功傳輸為止。成功傳輸並不被所有節點B保證。因此,因為任何一節點B內可能不能取得成功傳輸完成組,所以再排序成功傳輸無法完成。
本發明係有關軟交接期間處理資料區塊方法及裝置。該裝置可為無線通信系統,無線網路控制器(RNC)或積體電路(IC)。無線通信系統包含至少兩個加強上鏈軟交接節點B及一無線網路控制器。各節點B可解碼被接收資料區塊並轉送具有解碼結果,也就是週期冗餘檢查(CRC)之該被解碼資料區塊至該無線網路控制器。若無線網路控制器接收成功解碼資料區塊之至少一複本,則無線網路控制器可使用再排序功能實體成功處理被解碼資料區塊來提供佇列中傳遞至較高協定層。若無線網路控制器接收一個以上複本之成功解碼資料區塊,則無線網路控制器拋棄額外成功解碼資料區塊複本。無線網路控制器係為服務無線網路控制器(S-RNC)或控制無線網路控制器(C-RNC)。各節點B包含可處理加強上鏈專用頻道功能之媒體存取控制實體。
本發明將參考附圖說明,其中遍及全文之相似數字係代表相似元件。
此後,"無線傳輸/接收單元"一詞係包含但不受限於使用者設備(UE),行動台,固定或行動用戶單元,呼叫器或可運作於無線環境中之任何其他類型裝置。此後被稱為"基地台"一詞係包含但不受限於節點B,位址控制器,存取點或無線環境中之其他類型接介裝置。
如一般被應用至通用行動電信系統,CDMA2000(分碼多重存取2000)及分碼多重存取者,本發明可進一步應用至分時雙工,分頻雙工及分時同步分碼多重存取(TD-SCDMA),但亦可設想應用至其他無線系統。針對CDMA2000,本發明可被實施於EV-DO(也就是僅有資料)及EV-DV(也就是資料及語音)。
軟交接操作期間,較高層維持於加強上鏈胞元之主動子集,對此加強上鏈專用頻道係被維持於軟交接巨觀分集狀態中。這些主動子集中之胞元係被不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B控制。
第一圖顯示包含依據本發明較佳實施例操作之一服務無線網路控制器105及至少兩個(2)加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110(110A…110N)之無線通信系統100。無論有無軟交接,各無線傳輸/接收單元均具有一個或更多再排序功能實體115被實施於服務無線網路控制器105。處理加強上鏈專用頻道功能之混合自動重複要求或自動重複要求處理係被放置於各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110內之媒體存取控制實體120中。各再排序功能實體115可與服務無線網路控制器105內之較高協定層125通信且包含一相關資料緩衝器(無圖示)。
第二圖為軟交接期間包含處理系統100中資料區塊,也就是封包資料單元(PDUs)之方法步驟之處理200流程圖。步驟205中,資料區塊,(也就是加強上鏈資料區塊)係從無線傳輸/接收單元被接收於各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110處。步驟210中,各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110解碼被接收資料區塊,且該被解碼資料區塊係被轉送至服務無線網路控制器105。應注意各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110將嘗試解碼被接收加強上鏈傳輸。當具有週期冗餘檢查時,除非無線傳輸/接收單元實體及邏輯頻道/媒體存取控制-d藉由其他方法已知,否則各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110不能將被接收資料區塊轉送至服務無線網路控制器105。所有具有良好週期冗餘檢查結果之被成功解碼區塊均被轉送至服務無線網路控制器105。
仍然參考第二圖,決定成功解碼資料區塊之至少一複本是否從加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110被服務無線網路控制器105接收(步驟215)。若步驟215中決定服務無線網路控制器105尚未接收任何成功解碼資料區塊之複本,則被轉送資料區塊係被視為尚未被正確接收(步驟220)。步驟215中,若決定成功解碼資料區塊之至少一複本從加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110被服務無線網路控制器105接收,則接著決定成功解碼資料區塊之多重複本是否從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110被接收(步驟225)。
若步驟225決定成功解碼資料區塊之多重複本從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110被接收,則僅一複本被儲存於被服務無線網路控制器105中之再排序功能實體115維持之再排序緩衝器(無圖示)中當作被正確接收資料區塊,而任何成功解碼資料區塊之額外被接收複本係被拋棄為多餘資料(步驟230)。
最後,步驟235中,成功解碼資料區塊係被服務無線網路控制器105中之再排序功能實體115處理。服務無線網路控制器105中之再排序功能實體115可執行再排序程序於這些被正確接收於再排序功能實體115中之成功解碼資料區塊以支援佇列中傳遞至較高協定層125。
處理200係有助益,因為從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110被接收之資料區塊可被組合及組織於佇列中以傳遞至服務無線網路控制器105之較高協定層125。被放置於服務無線網路控制器105內之再排序功能實體115可使加強上鏈媒體存取控制封包資料單元被處理獨立於被提供接收各封包資料單元之節點B來成功接收及正確傳遞至較高協定層235,導致媒體存取控制資料被降低及無線鏈路控制恢復。
第三圖顯示包含依據本發明替代實施例操作之一控制無線網路控制器305及至少兩個(2)加強上鏈軟交接節點B 110(110A…110N)之無線通信系統300。一個或更多再排序功能實體315被實施於控制無線網路控制器305來支援軟交接。處理加強上鏈專用頻道功能之混合自動重複要求或自動重複要求處理係被放置於各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310內之媒體存取控制實體320中。各再排序功能實體315可與外接至控制無線網路控制器305之較高協定層325通信且包含一相關資料緩衝器(無圖示)。
第四圖為軟交接期間包含處理系統300中資料區塊,也就是封包資料單元之方法步驟之處理400流程圖。步驟405中,資料區塊,(也就是加強上鏈資料區塊)係從無線傳輸/接收單元被接收於各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310處。步驟410中,各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310解碼被接收資料區塊,且該被解碼資料區塊係被轉送至控制無線網路控制器305。應注意各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310將嘗試解碼被接收加強上鏈傳輸。當具有週期冗餘檢查時,除非無線傳輸/接收單元實體及邏輯頻道/媒體存取控制-d藉由其他方法已知,否則各加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310不能將被接收資料區塊轉送至控制無線網路控制器305。所有具有良好週期冗餘檢查結果之被成功解碼區塊均被轉送至控制無線網路控制器305。
仍然參考第四圖,決定成功解碼資料區塊之至少一複本是否從加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310被控制無線網路控制器305接收(步驟415)。若步驟415中決定控制無線網路控制器305尚未接收任何成功解碼資料區塊之複本,則被加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310轉送之資料區塊係被視為尚未被正確接收(步驟420)。步驟415中,若決定成功解碼資料區塊之至少一複本從加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310被控制無線網路控制器305接收,則接著決定成功解碼資料區塊之多重複本是否從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310被接收(步驟425)。
若步驟425決定成功解碼資料區塊之多重複本從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310被接收,則僅一複本被儲存於被控制無線網路控制器305中之再排序功能實體315維持之再排序緩衝器(無圖示)中當作被正確接收資料區塊,而任何成功解碼資料區塊之額外被接收複本係被拋棄為多餘資料(步驟430)。
最後,步驟435中,成功解碼資料區塊係被控制無線網路控制器305中之再排序功能實體315處理。其可執行再排序程序於這些被正確接收於再排序功能實體315中之成功解碼資料區塊以支援佇列中傳遞至較高協定層325。
處理400係有助益,因為假設這些節點B 310具有相同控制無線網路控制器305,所以從不同加強上鏈軟交接節點B 310被接收之資料區塊可被組合及組織於佇列中以傳遞至較高協定層325。雖然其應用較放置再排序功能於服務無線網路控制器105中有些嚴格,但此經常為案例。然而,此限制係被其他考量抵消。例如,服務無線網路控制器操作之利益係降低混合自動重複要求操作之延遲。最小化此延遲之效能利益係熟知於技術領域中。軟交接期間,亦預期控制無線網路控制器305中具有用於包含被不同節點B 310控制之胞元之主動加強上鏈子集中之所有胞元之共用上鏈排程器。

Claims (10)
- 一種在一無線網路控制器(RNC)中使用的方法,該方法包含:從至少兩個節點B接收一成功解碼的媒體存取控制(MAC)封包資料單元(PDU)的至少一副本,其中該至少兩個節點B使用一混合自動重複要求(HARQ)協定從一無線傳輸/接收單元(WTRU)接收該MAC PDU;拋棄該成功解碼的媒體存取控制封包資料單元的重複副本;以及再排序該成功解碼的媒體存取控制封包資料單元,以支援從該至少兩個節點B接收到的媒體存取控制封包資料單元的佇列中傳遞至較高協定層。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的方法,其中該無線網路控制器為一服務無線網路控制器(S-RNC),以及該較高協定層係位於該服務無線網路控制器中。
