1328790 九、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 . 本發明係關於一種資料驅動晶片及採用該資料驅動晶片之液 ; 晶顯示器。 【先前技術】 * 目前,液晶顯示器逐漸取代了用於計算機之傳統陰極射線管 (Cathode Ray Tube, CRT)顯示器,而且’由於液晶顯示器具輕、薄、 ^ 小等特點,使其非常適合應用於桌上型電腦、個人數位助理 (Personal Digital Assistant, PDA)、便攜式電話、電視及多種辦公自 動化與視聽設備。 一種先前技術揭露之液晶顯示器10如圖1所示,其包括一主 控電路板11、一閘極驅動晶片12、一資料驅動晶片13、一液晶顯 示面板 14 及一軟性印刷電路板(Flexible Printed Circuit,FPC)15。 該主控電路板11為該閘極驅動晶片12及該資料驅動晶片13提供 訊號。該閘極驅動晶片12及該資料驅動晶片13設置於該液晶顯 • 示面板14上,其採用玻璃覆晶封裝技術(ChipOnGlass,COG),通 過異方性導電膜(Anisotropic Conductive Film,ACF)連接到液晶 顯示面板14 ’以提供顯示訊號給該液晶顯示面板14。該主控電路 板11與該閘極驅動晶片12及該資料驅動晶片13通過該軟性印刷 電路板15連接。 請參閱圖2,係該資料驅動晶片13之示意圖。該資料驅動晶 片13包括一數位類比轉換器(D/A c〇nverter) 131。該數位類比 轉換器131用於將該RGB數位圖像訊號轉化為類比訊號並輸出至 該液晶顯示面板14。該數位類比轉換器131包括一數位輸入接口 6
