Abstract

An information delivery system is disclosed, in which information can be delivered to a user having passed through a passage of an automatic ticket gate irrespective of the kind of a passenger ticket used, for example, a commutation ticket, an ordinary ticket or a prepaid card. When two tickets of a passenger ticket 8 and a member card 7 are inserted in a main body, an automatic ticket gate 11 judges the acceptability/unacceptability of the passing of a passage of the automatic ticket gate 11 on the basis of ticket information stored on the inserted passenger ticket 8. When judging that the passing of the passage is acceptable, the automatic ticket gate 11 outputs a delivery request including an identification code read out from the member card 7 to an information delivery apparatus 21. When receiving the delivery request, the information delivery apparatus 21 transmits delivery mail to a user 5 identified by the identification code included in the delivery request.
