Abstract

Making suitable nonwoven webs requires good adhesion between the binder and the absorbent material. The present invention relates to a nonwoven web having improved adhesion based on tackifiers present in the binder. Optionally, the binder with tackifier may also contain an adhesion promoter, usually grafted polyolefins, and an enhancement agent, usually inactive inorganic compounds in powder form. The web comprises from about 5 to about 25% by weight binder fiber and from about 75 to 95% by weight absorbent. The absorbent may be a natural absorbent or a super absorbent polymer or a combination of these. The binder fiber contains less than about 40% by weight tackifier. Tackifier is selected form the class of rosin, rosin esters, terpene based, piperylene based, and hydrocarbon based compounds.

Invention Description (〗 〖) [Invention Area] ~ There are non-woven fabrics made from dry and wet paving, which can be used Diapers, incontinence pads, sanitary napkins, and other liquid absorbing pads, in particular, these shims generally include cement and wood pulp, or other absorbent materials. When making suitable nonwoven fabrics for these purposes, good adhesion is required between the binder and the absorbent material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric having improved adhesion, which is based on The adhesive is present in the binder. Tackifiers include: rosin, rosin esters, bismuth-based bismuth, squash-thin basement, and water-repellent compound-based compounds. The binder having a tackifier may optionally comprise a binder promoter, usually a grafted polyolefin, and a reinforcing agent, usually an inactive inorganic compound in powder form. [Prior Art] Nonwoven fabrics, particularly disposable absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, are very popular in the market, however, there is still room for improvement in these products, especially their adhesion, for example: During the manufacturing process, when it is processed into articles, and when used, it will not be loose. Prior to the present invention, it was known that an absorbent (wood pulp and optionally up to 25 wt% super absorbent polymer, SAp) and a binder, such as two-component fibers or low-melt polymer fibers, can be formed into existing Nonwovens, these prior compositions comprise about 10% by weight binder and about 80 to 90% by weight absorbent. When manufacturing these nonwoven fabrics, the wood pulp (and optionally SAp) is first mixed with a binder, and then the composition is placed in a heating zone, so that 3 A7 B7 1283184 5, the invention description (2) The material, or the low melting material of the two component fibers, can be melted and applied to at least a portion of the majority of the wood pulp fibers (and optionally SAP), and then the composition is placed in a cooling zone such that The lower melted binder material is capable of solidifying, so the wood pulp (and optionally SAP) can be bonded into a single fabric structure. Optionally, other fibers, such as other synthetic fibers or natural fibers, may be added to achieve other desirable properties such as low density, high gas permeability, compression resistance, and liquid absorption rate.

The air laying fabric can be used to add fibers to an air stream. 10 paper scales are applicable to the Chinese National Standard (CNS) A4 specification (210 x 297 mm). 1283184 V. Description of the invention (9) 5 ο 11 5 11 Ministry of Economic Affairs The Intellectual Property Office staff consumption cooperative prints ο 2 A7 B7, which mixes the fibers evenly and deposits them on the surface of the net. The carding method combines the fibers into separate parallel lines and separates the bundles into individual fibers. The garnet method combines the fibers in a combing process, and then joins the bonded fibers to form a fabric, and the layers of the fabric can be overlapped to increase the desired weight. The random carding method uses centrifugal force to throw the fibers into the fabric, so that the fibers have a random orientation, and a multi-layer fabric can be formed to obtain the desired amount of fabric 4, after which the dry-laid components are combined in one S. The wet laid fabric can be made using a modified paper making process in which the fibers are suspended in water, gently poured onto a web, dried, and then bonded together. The combination of the fabrics uses a bonded fiber such as the aforementioned low melt polymer fiber or two component fiber. Fabrics of fibers (bonded fibers and absorbents) can be joined together by heating, and the bonded bonding system melts the bonded fibers in the following manner: in an oven (hot air, radiation, or microwave), or a heated calender roll, Or borrow ultrasonic energy. The fabric is then cooled to solidify the molten bonded fibers. Thus, the fabric has a structure of sufficient hardness to be used as a component of the absorbent pad. The fabric is manufactured using dry-laid or wet-laid techniques, and only the binder fibers (low-melt polymer fibers or two-component fibers, or both) are mixed with the absorbent fibers (with or without SAP), and the absorbent is mixed. In the case of binder fibers, from about 5 to about 25% by weight of the binder fibers are required in the total amount of the fabric, and the remainder is mainly an absorbent.
