1281932 玖、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明關於一種施覆之細粒無機固體的製造方法及其 應用。 【先前技術】 無機固體(例如無機色素或填充物)也用於當作功能 添加物,呈粉末或分散體形式加入合成聚合物、漆、顏料 (例如印刷油墨)、纖維、紙(例如層狀紙)、粘著劑、 陶兗(例如電氣陶瓷與磁鐵陶瓷)、琺瑯(Emai丨le)、吸附 劑、離子父換劑、研磨及拋光劑、「冷却潤滑劑」與「冷 却潤滑劑濃縮液」、耐火產品、硬水泥材料、醫藥產品、 化粧品(Kosmetika)[例如:撲粉、藥膏(Salben)、牙膏]之 中。為了使该有機固體在這些應用領域能發揮其所要之性 質,故要設法使該細粒無機固體極佳且均勻地分佈在該系 統中,其中特別是在加工到聚合物中的場合,這種均勻的 分佈更是不可或缺。
為了改善這種細粒無機固體的加工性質,在德專利DE 1 98 39 856 A1主張將它們埋入-種有機載體材料構成的 母質⑽叫中。如此所形成的粉末狀中間產物由個別之 :於-微米尺寸的粒子團構成。這樣的一個粒子團又包含 數個個別的無機固體粒子, k二固體粒子埋入該有機母質 中。這種添加物的缺點為有 、 製造此添加物的程序繁複。 材#3讀^且用於 在德專利心00 05 685 A1中在主張將細粒硫酸铜用. 1281932 -種有機物質施覆,其中各個別硫酸鋇粒子覆有一層有機 物:的層。在此’由硫酸鋇構成的遽邊加工成—種:狀物 ,有機物質混到此此糊狀*中。_將該混合物乾燥。 -種程序的變更方式,係將硫酸錢渣乾燥,缺後將 有機物質加入。這二種程序的缺點為:該有機物質:佈到 硫酸鋇粒子上的情形不均句。在另_種程序的變更方式中 ,係將硫酸顧濾、渣再懸浮在水中,加入有機物質,然後乾 燥。這種程序固然可使有機物質較均句地分佈在硫酸鋇粒 子上,但其缺點為製造該懸浮液所需的水量較高,以後也 要再除去較多量的水。 本發明的目的在克服先行技術的缺點,並提供一種方 法,藉之可將細粒無機固體用一種有機物質改性,使它可 氅無問題地當作添加物加工到各種不同的系統中(例如: 聚合物、漆、顏料、紙、陶瓷、醫藥產物、或化粧品), 特別是該有機物質要均勻地分佈在該無機固體表面,且該 有機物質比例要小於所製成之添加物(施覆的無機細粒固 體)的15%重量,且宜小於其10%。此外,該製造程序所用 之水里比说今習知的程序(其中該有機物質加到一種該細 粒無機固體在水中的懸浮液中)更少。如有必要,該細粒 無機固體有機物質改性的作業也可完全不用水實施。 這種目的達成之道係利用一種方法,其中該細粒無機 固體粒子表面用至少二種不同之有機添加物施覆,其中至_ 少有一種添加物含一種潤濕劑、分散劑或除膠羽化劑 (Def lockulation agent),且其中該添加物的比例至多為 1281932 覆的固體的15%重量,且宜最後ι〇%或5%重量,尤宜 表多3 %重量。 最好’所用之細粒無機固體為二氧化鈦、硫酸鋇、辞 鋇白(Lithopone)、硫酸辞、氧化辞、碳酸鈣、硫酸鈣、氧 化鐵、一氧化矽、滑石、高嶺土、雲母、氧化鋁、氫氧化 鋁金屬鈦酸鹽、鈦酸複鹽(Buntititanate)(例如鈇酸鉻 鎳)氧化錯、氧化鎂、水滑石(Hydroralci t)、白堊土、 /❿合相色素、腐蝕防護色素、無機之火焰防護色素、黑色 素(例如氧化鐵黑)、無機效果色素,或金屬氮化物、碳化 物及硼化物,它們可個別地混合使用。 此外,「父換劑」、「分散劑」或「除膠羽化劑」係 才曰一種界面活性物質,它們使一種粉狀物質較易分散一種 液體介質中,其方法係改變表面的電荷將二種 帶有電性相反電荷的成份之間的界面張力減少。如此,在 分散過程中,存在的凝聚物(Aggl〇merate)崩解,因此防止 再凝聚(Re-Aggl〇meration)(=聚成團粒)或膠羽化(=絮凝 )的情事。 所用之潤濕劑、分散劑或除膠羽劑(以下只通稱為分 月文劑)可為產生離子式(可離子化的)(i〇n〇gene)及非產生 離子式分散劑。最好使用以下物質:有機酸的鹼金屬(特 別是鈉、鉀)鹽或銨鹽[例如聚甲基丙烯酸鹽、丙烯酸或甲 基丙烯酸共聚物的鹼金屬鹽(分子量宜可高達15〇〇〇)],聚-鱗酸鹽〔無機或有機聚磷酸鹽,例如聚(甲基)丙烯酸磷 鹽〕、一般為聚(甲基丙烯酸鹽、聚醚、陽離子改性的聚 1281932 鍵、脂肪醇聚乙二醇醚、改性之聚胺基甲酸醋或陽離子活 性的脂肪族酯。 分散劑的添加量依該無機固體的平均粒子大小而定。 該無機固體粒子越細,分散劑的添加量越多。分散劑的添 加量宜在0·01〜爾量左右’尤宜約。〇1〜5%重量: 0. 1〜3%重量(相對於該製成之施覆產物)。 ,該第二種有機添加物宜含有一種或數種以下物質:碳 (羧)酸、肥息、金屬皂鹽、醇類(例如iu —三甲基醇 丙幻五赤蘚醇、新戊基乙二醇、聚乙二醇(例如聚乙撐 乙二醇)、聚乙撑乙二醇酸、有機s旨(例如新戊基乙二醇—二 苯甲酸醋)、石夕院、石夕氧炫、石夕院油、式rsm的有機,楓 、有機_ [R-(C--〇)-R]、有機腈(RCN)、有機亞楓 (Sulf〇S1d)(R2-S02)、有機酿胺[R_(c=〇)_NR,R 或 NTR’R]、脂肪酸酯或脂肪酸醯胺。 又,第一有機添加物的添加量也和該無機固體的平均 粒子大小有關。該無機固體粒子越細,則第二有機添加物 的添加量越多。第二種有機添加物的添 成之施覆的產物)。 將分散劑加到該細粒無機固體的添加作業可分別地加 入或與第二種有機添加物混合而加入。當分別加入時 則上’熟孰先孰後並無不同。但基於實際的理由,當分別 添加時’宜先加分散劑,再加第二種添加劑。 " 該細粒無機固體可呈水性懸浮液或濾潰形式(糊狀或 1281932 ,糰狀)#在。據渣宜不作乾燥(例如直接 ⑷而使用’因為如此該無機粒子尚未完全凝年因此 在加入分散劑與第二種有機添加物後,要作分二:: 夫可減到取小。如果該細粒無機固體呈粉 :在製造懸浮液前先將該無機固體作濕磨。該懸丄濟 :的固體含量宜為15〜晴量,且尤宜25〜8_量,特 且為50〜80%重量。 &這種加了添加物的懸浮液的乾燥作業可利用一般乾燥 機組達成。最好使用噴龍燥機、箭磨乾燥機或真空乾燥 機。在必要的情形,隨可將乾燥的產物磨#,例如利用蒸 氧噴流磨、空氣喷流磨或桿磨(Stiftmtihle)。 ▲出乎意料地,我們發現,即使在固體含量很高的場合 ^該懸浮液或濾渣在加人分散劑與第二種添加物後也能充 分液化,以確保該添加物最適當地分佈在粒子表面,且所 各的J浮液可毫無問題地泵取。這點可大大降低程序成本 由於每種充分「液態」的懸浮液水成份比例很低,故乾 無作業成本可進一步降低。 也可使用既有的細粒無機固體當作粉末,在一攪拌機 中>、4刀政劑及弟二種有機添加物混合,然後磨粉(例如 在一蒸氣噴流磨、空氣喷流磨或桿磨中)。 該施覆之細粒無機固體的平均顆粒大小d5G宜為〇. 〇〇ι 〜20#m,且尤宜為〇· 〇〇5〜5# m,特宜為0· 01〜2/z m或 〇 · 1 〜1 // m 〇 本發明方法的一優點在於:所得之施覆之細粒無機固 1281932 體其有出色的流動性’且可用氣壓方式报理智地 於這些性質,它可出色地用於定量加入到聚 ,。由 。如果這些施覆之細粒無機固體再進一步加 岫物中 泥狀(Slurry),則它們可不花大的分散作業成本:洋液或 「液懸」分散液(它也可以為非水性者),具 加工成
