Abstract
This invention relates to an orthogonal division frequency modulation (OFDM) system having cyclic-prefix (CP) length detection. According to the invention, a delay-correlator with fixed length is used to takes the autocorrelation on one OFDM symbol with unknown CP length, and the CP length and obtains synchronization of OFDM symbol are decided by means of the correlativity. Therefore, using the CP length detector with low complexity, the OFDM system of the invention can fast and accurately detect the CP length, and efficiently utilizes bandwidth on the presupposition without inter-symbol interference.
