Abstract

This invention of a torsion gauge of hand tool having both of low cost and high precision mainly due to acting force on a piezoelectric ceramic to generate polarization in order to make two end rims generate positive and negative electric charges (namely so called piezoelectric effect), and, via an electric conductors connected to two ends of the piezoelectric ceramic transferring the voltage signal to the display which is installed on the handle wherein a transducer is set inside the display to transform the voltage signal into digital signal so that users can read the torsion forcing on the wrench in a precise value manner. This torsion gauge of hand tool invention is provided with following advantages: simple structure and manufacturing processing, low cost, high precise gauging, and eliminate the limits due to size and appearance by using piezoelectric ceramics.
