Abstract

A liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, and a shading film, wherein the second substrate comprises a display region and a non-display region. The liquid crystal layer is located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The shading film is located between the second substrate and the liquid crystal layer, and covers the non-display region. Since there is a shading film on the non-display region, the issue that light leakage at the periphery of the display can be resolved.
