Abstract
This invention discloses a fast phase-locked data recovery circuit that adopts a two-time oversampling technique, and the internal circuit includes a phase-locked circuit with multi-phase outputs for generating a plurality of phases thetan, and a phase interpolator combines the captured signals of phases thetan and thetan+2 into a sample phase Phin, and then the phase detector uses the sample phase to capture a data and compares the data with an input data correction to generate an up/down correction signal. A counter accumulates the up/down correction signals to produce a corrected weighting value k to be outputted to the phase interpolator for correcting the sample phase. To reduce the time for the process of recovering the phase, the invention also discloses a binary searching method and a two-time oversampling data recovery circuit architecture, so as to greatly reduce the required locking time. A multiphase time-sharing parallel sampling technique is used for achieving the effects of high speed operation and low power consumption.
