Abstract

This invention relates to an improved reinforced structure for a rim adapted for preventing a tire from being punctured, wherein a ring frame clamps the rim, and the ring frame is consisted of two frame bodies in form of semi-ring engaged with each other in such a way that the frame bodies are inserted into each other and snapped on by snap fastener. A clamping surface on its inner arc surface may be provided with grooves and ribs to match various rims, and its outer arc surface is provided with a groove into which a ring pad is fitted. The ring pad is provided to combine with a spare rim device as a safety tire. In the event that the tire is perforated by a bodkin or a knife and becomes flat, the structure of the safety tire the vehicle is still capable of being driven to a repair shop, and a driver is free from moving the vehicle by human power. Particularly, by provision of the ring pad, the weight force is buffered and vibration is suppressed under use of the spare rim device.
