Abstract

This invention provides a handle device with improved operability by a simple operation of a key with a lock unit to move a handle body a predetermined angle away from a handle case so as to open a door from a door jamb. The lock unit is separated from the handle body and provided at the handle case side. The handle body can be relieved from engagement with the lock unit by unlocking the lock of the lock unit and aligning a projection or a recess formed below the lock unit with a recess or a projection provided on the handle case.
