Abstract
A system and a method of credit scoring by applying a data mining method are described, suitable for a finance corporation to estimate the credit scores of a plurality of applicants. The method of credit scoring comprises: providing an application history data; performing a resample step to make the sum of a bad debt account holder and the sum of normal account holder re-sampled from the application history data in a approximate ratio; performing a data mining classifying step to build a plurality of models of bad debt account holder; using a classification model estimating measuring value to estimate the models of bad debt account holder, so as to estimate the accuracy of each model of bad debt account holder and select one model of bad debt account holder with the highest accuracy from the models of bad debt account holder as a forecasting model; and inputting a new application data into the forecasting model, so as to obtain the credit score of the new application data.
